So sorry about this, only one serious fault o 😕.
When you say "and going forward with the journey " do you mean that since you have found yourself in the middle (or first lane for example) you should have just taken the first or second exit rather than proceeding to the third?

Yes, that would be the best thing to do because you don’t get any fault for going the wrong way

Hi. I saw your PM. Apologies for not responding as I no longer have the password to that email.

To your question, what course did you study?

I think your best bet would be to explore the Msc nursing with registration. It’s a 2 years masters degree program that comes with licensing to practice in the UK. A lot of unis only offer it to those with first degree in medical/biomedical studies. I understand some other unis admit people regardless of what you studied in your undergraduate.

Your assignment will be to search and find out which universities offer it to those without a degree in medical sciences assuming your first degree is not in either medical Or biomedical.

Cost wise, it will depend on the tuition of the university you choose as each university’s tuition differs from another but you should be looking at nothing less than 9k a year, bear in mind it’s a two years course so we are talking about 18k.
You then have to also factor in costs of visa, flights, proof of funds (maintenance fee) and all, tuberculosis test. These other details you can find on the student thread really.

I hope this helps and gives you idea of what to do. Others will hopefully contribute

For Nursing, it’s nothing less than 12k per year

I believe the general pay scale for nurses would apply. For a new nurse that should be Band 5 with salary between £25 to 32k. You usually get more on the job with additional certifications, shifts etc

I am an advocate of Midlands grin grin as i believe it is not too expensive and a good balance considering you will be moving from London.

However, you can consider up north like Newcastle, Sunderland, Scotland and all. Cost of living is also cheaper over there. You can also request physical interviews for any location for you to get a feel of the place

Okay, this is really helpful. Thank you so much

You too can contribute once in a while madam nurse, stop doing hit and run since 2020 cheesy

The Midlands and up north is generally cheaper if you choose right but then again if you're used to London/South East you might not find those places very easy initially. If you know people there even better

Thank you!!!

Hello everyone, it’s been a while here, hope everyone is doing alright??

I will be done with my nursing program this year and I’m ready to start applying for jobs. I need assistance on what areas in England are good in terms of decent cost of living. I currently reside 30mins from central London and the rent is crazy this side. Please what areas are affordable to live in and with good pay rates for nurses?? I’m thinking towards Birmingham, Wolverhampton, the midlands generally while being open to other options as well.

Don’t read and pass please!

You don’t need hard copy of the statement to attend biometrics if that’s what you mean, except for assisted service then statement shldnt be more than 31days
Alright, thank you

As long as the 28-day count did not end more than 31 days before his application date, he's good and from what you've explained, it's not older than 31 days before his application so there's no cause for concern.
He can print a statement covering the 28 day period before his application plus the days leading up to his biometrics if he so wishes though.
Alright Mimi.. there is no time to print another one, so he will have to submit like that since it’s still valid. Thank you!!!

I have a question please, are there any travel restrictions for students on tier 4 visa? Are students allowed to travel out and return back to uk anytime they have a reason to, especially now that classes are online? Do I also need to inform the school anytime I want to travel out of the country??

Hello my beloved brethren it has happened.

Submission 2nd September.
Biometrics 24th.
Decision 29th
Puckup Today.

I am grateful to all of you guys for all your advice. And to those still waiting I pray the good Lord put a song of joy like it for me today.

More especially to Anitaamich, I await your great news.

Meanwhile, please which of the airlines do not ask for Covid test?

Secondly I am headed to Southampton and will continue fro Heathrow by road. Do I have to quarantine in London or are mine allowed to go straight to Southampton and guarantine?

Thirdly, though I already reserved a place to quarantine in Southampton but is it possible for me to go straight and quarantine in my student accommodation?

Thanks in anticipation of a response.
Congratulations cheesy grin grin
