Finally I'm going to have a sound sleep, I'm going to allow my phone rest a bit from constant refreshing and checking of my mail.
VISA application 24/8/20 (standard Abuja) no priority then, getting a date for appointment self was a testimony.

Biometrics submission and interview: 1/9/20
Transferred to DMC 1/9/20

Deferred complex mail A.KA not straight forward mail: 18/9/20.

21/9/20 got a call from my bank asking if I submitted my statement of account to any embassy? I responded, I was asked by the banker which embassy, and I responded too. Never read that from anyone here that a bank caller to ask. That made me more restless and at the same time gave me hope that something is being done on my application.

Continued my refreshing of mail and nairaland messages. Very sad and smiling at the same time at work place, I was fed up with everything. Normal TGIF and weekend parole was like a vigil at St Marys.

Finally 28/09/20 got a used CAS mail from my school.
29/09/20 Application moved to VAC.

30/09/20 at exactly 12:08 pick up mail dropped and I rushed as if tomorrow's public holiday will last forever and behold my visa with my coconut head there.

Thank God.
To you reading this because you are expecting your visa, don't worry the good Lord that did it for me , will do it for you.

Can't believe I'll be resigning from work this weekend. It's a thing of joy

In my case it has to be done and in Abuja as well. Any idea how I can go about it without paying through the nose? Can I give them the money in pounds? If is it possible to pay before hand and do you think that would be cheaper?

Sorry for too many questions, the whole process has been in the hand of an agent and I am trying to take charge of the processes and it seems I have no idea about a lot of things, truly I have to admit that I don't.

So I did priority on September 11, nothing till now. I have tracked and it’s still showing application received at dmc, since Monday oo. What could be wrong? Is there a way to call TLS?

It's like we that did in August na special cases because I no understand again, I did my 2nd interview yesterday. Most of the guys that are getting are September. UKVI ooo �

August applicants are being handled by ukvi Sheffield while September applicants are sent to ukvi Pretoria. I guess there’re not much backlogs in Pretoria, that’s why theirs is faster.

Paid for ihs and visa fees, same day
Paid for priority
Booked biometrics for 25th September
Attempted walk-in at Abuja TlS on 11th
Successfully did walk-in on 14th (Monday)
Got a decision mail on Wednesday (16th)
Picked up my passport today (17th)
No call
No interview
