I am 100 percent sure ALL 3 to 4 year old are entitled to 15hours free .... 30 hours is public funds but 15 hours is not public funds for 3 to 4 years , instead classified as early education.

No power now to find the official guidance but it is in the gov website somewhere
Thanks for this, It’s all clear now

I have a friend that's benefitting from the 15 hours her child is 3+ and she is a student.
Meaning she applied and got it, I’m now confused @justwise, what can you say about it please?

it is 3 years and for Student Visa yes for 15hours....also just a caveat. I am talking about England, that where I live and know about. Scotland and Wales might be different

Check the gov website . All information is usually listed
https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-and-education-for-2-to-4-year-olds
My school is in England, thank you

I remember trying to apply for the free 30 hours and was asked if I was entitled to public funds which I wasn't eligible for. Also, I'm not sure if there's 15 hours for Tier 4 students

So you need to be careful so you don't unknowingly apply for public funds.

https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare

Ohhh, I’ll have to make further inquiries about it then.. will ask my school I guess

Over 3 years can get 30hours free hours but Student Visa is 15hours......... then children start school full-time in the September after they turn 4 years. That can be free from about 9 till 3.15pm depending on the school

Any age below this group, then there is no free anything if your visa is student visa
I thought it’s from 2years old?? So I can get 15hrs free while on student’s visa

Please parents that are traveling with kids and intend to put them in nurseries, are they eligible for the free hours for children 2years and above? Those that are with kids in the U.K. or know somebody with kids, please how are you/they doing it? Don’t read and pass

This is the reason why you need to have your tuition and maintenance fee before going to the UK.

The video is not applicable to all besides, its just a person's view.

You’re right, it’s not applicable to all. Just have your maintenance fee and extra with you while going to the U.K.

Sorry I have been so busy..let me get to your questions now and try to hopefully give you some insights;

1. Yes Cranfield is countryside or remote

2. There are a few jobs posted on CSA in school for students, most students however work at cities close to Cranfield that's Bedford or Milton Keynes. You might be able to see jobs in sales, admin or care homes, most of them pay minimum wage £8.25 or so pending on your age,if you work within the 20hrs limit and have steady shifts then 20*8.25*4 should give you close to £660 or so.Not too bad.

3. Adding jobs and experience on CV depends on the job you get.i would advice working with the career team to restructure your CV to fit UK style and standard.

4.You have to check in with your faculty and admin team for Scholarship

5. It is cheaper to live on neighbouring cities again Bedford or Milton Keynes or perhaps Cranfield Village. Pending on your budget you can get £300 shared accommodation with bills inclusive, there are good African stores as well in Milton and Bedford. However you will have to factor in the Uno Bus Student pass £34 per month to get the bus to Cranfield

6) This is one thing I can boast about. Cranfield has a alot of industries affiliated to it .The target is to know who the contact person is in your faculty and the research representative in the Industries you are interested in, try to find a problem the industries might be facing, use one as a dissertation topic and proffer solutions. It might not be easy but it brings you one step closer to the door.If and when possible pitch in that you want to spend time after studying for real industry experience and you will appreciate the opportunity. For example my research is sponsored by 3water utilities in the UK.not an easy one but definitely worth it.

Sorry i used the word Industries* alot.

I hope this helps

All the best

[/b]

Wow good job I wish someone can give breakdown of life in Hertfordshire like you just did with Cranfield.. anybody please?

So UK will now just lose money this year. Do you know that most schools only have one year intake for the courses.

No how UK will look for a way for students to come into the country and People can make the first deposit and the school will refund.

Like I always say read your offer terms and conditions. Secondly read up your school emails. Finally, read or listen to UK news.

Its not that difficult don't wait for someone to tell what to do.

By June 21st the country will start to open up including air space.

I agree with you, besides most schools updated their refund policy, people should just read up.. I already paid my deposit and I’m not even bothered one bit.

Please those anyone has an ideal of the tuition of Msc adult nursing at university of Chester. I have been to the school website but it’s not quoted. It’s like they only write it on offer letters for those offered admission letters for the course. Please if anyone has an offer on that course kindly tell me the tuition for the first year.

£13,450 per year

Hello everyone!

Please I will like to know if anyone got admitted for Adult Nursing MSc. to University of Chester?

I applied to the school, but they are requesting that I complete a portfolio demonstrating 800+ hours of health related practice.

Pls I really don't understand how to go about it, can any explain how to go about writing the portfolio.

Thank you in advance.

I got a conditional offer from them but the conditions are much. Their portfolio is quite simple, didn’t they send it in a form for you to fill with examples.. just follow the examples and fill in yours.

Please I will appreciate a head up here, can a spouse apply for a tier 2 visa while in Nigeria for her partner after securing a tier 4 visa for herself.
The partner is in UAE planning to return by October 2020.
The wife has just secured admission for January 2021 and looking at applying for her tier 4 visa by August, the visa might be issued before husband arrive, they are planning to get married by November 2020.
Her fear is if it will be possible for the husband to get a tier 2 visa before she resume for studies in January 2021 and what are the likely chances for a denial.

She can only apply for visa 3 months to the start of her course. If she’s starting January 2021, she can only start applying for visa from October

Tobexin stated that HE WANTS TO SHARE HIS OWN EXPERIENCE in his first paragraph.

I don't Why are people still arguing about Tobexin own experience? Some of you can argue for Africa... Kai!

You can talk about your own experience.

My thoughts exactly, some people are just waiting for an opportunity to attack somebody.. it’s terrible!!!

Please i need your advise. I am a graduate of Human Anatomy, I finished with 2:1. I got offer at university of hertfordshire to study Msc adult Nursing (2 yr pre-registration program)

Tuition fee goes for around £12,500 per year. I can only afford a year. Course work and hospital rotation is very bulky and no funding from school.

Personally, Nursing is a lucrative and interesting field. Employment opportunities are 98-100%

Now here are my questions

1) is it advisable to go for a 2 yr Msc
2) What other options would you give someone with 5 million budget. Uk is not the final destination, just a leaping stone.

Thanks

Hi, I’m going for same course too.. I have gotten an offer with Hertfordshire but still waiting on other schools I applied to.

You can only do the course for 2years since it’s a preregistration course, you’ll need to up your budget a bit so you can be able to show proof of living expenses

UK is also not my final destination because nurses don’t earn much there compared to other countries, My plan is to apply for jobs in Canada when I’m done.

Your husband doesn't have to travel with you if he is gainfully employed and would not want to leave his job, in that case you have to make care arrangement and secure appropriate accommodation then with a consent letter from your husband which will also include reasons why he couldn't travel with you people..his job or business could be one of the reasons but he can still apply for visiting visa later to visit your people.
Okay.. thank you justwise

So my husband can apply with dependent visa and travel with us and still go back once we’re settled? They don’t really care whether the dependent will live in uk right?? Please I just want to be sure
LagosismyHome:

Consert letter will lead to rejection.... The UK is strict on children. The rule is the both parents must apply or else they WILL reject that child. One parent can come and return back , that might be a quiet work around. But to apply initially for a child , it has to be both parents

Check your school website, check home office rule

Yes there’s consent.. the thing is he can’t live with us in the Uk but he would always visit.. can he still apply for dependent even though he won’t be living with us in uk? We planned that he would travel with us and after we have settled, he would come back to Nigeria

Any consent letter from her father? He would have applied with you, makes it easier.

Where is the second parent.... for child dependent both parent have to be in UK

However yes it normal for application to be out separately. The father came out first then a week later the child and days later the mother
Please I want to understand your first statement better.. Is a woman not allowed to travel alone with her child as dependent while the husband stays back in Nigeria?
