When you know how to multiply =N= 1,000, you will have =N= 10,000, then you will have =N= 100,000, then you will have =N=1,000,000, then you will have =N=10,000,000, then you will have =N=100,000,000.

The challenge isn't capital. The challenge is money multiplying skills.

An Alpha+ male with children, dearly loves his children. Yet, he isn't attached to them.

He knows the difference between attachment and love. Love is healthy, attachment isn't.

He loves his children by doing all he can to provide and protect them.

He isn't attached, because he doesn't loose his identify in his children.

He nurtures them during the early years, once they become adults, he is there to guide them. He doesn't intrude, he doesn't cajole, if all he did before they turn 18years, isn't enough to make them responsible, then taking control of their lives will create more harm than good.

Parenting is an art, that should not be left to chance. A child who had a stable male character in his life, often has better emotional stability than one who did not. Of course there are few exceptions, we are talking about the norm.

In so doing, it's only when a man is seen as a Man in his home, that he can have a good chance in a shaping the child's life.

Be an Alpha+ male, that takes no permission from his dear she, before applying sound discipline.

Your sons and daughters will tell you in future, "Dad, thank you."

Exercise is another tool to my health without drugs from 2018.

I tried different things: jogging, weightlifting, pushups, walking, situps (which gave me blisters on my bum).

Finally, for two years now, I have settled for walking. What led to this decision?

1) Time.

2) Allows for multitasking. It can be infused with other activities, such as meditation, critical thinking etc.

Also it exercises the whole body. Will share a scientific proof for that in the next post.

Another form of exercise I habitually engage in is deep breathing.

I'm not really consistent with this. Tried different methods and left it at the way side.

Recently (2 months ago), I have been fairly consistent with a method called Yogic coffee.

More often than not, in the morning I engage in this for about 5minutes.

It's easy to analyse, and write off others because of their misdeeds. Yet who is without sin? Am I perfect? May this help me not to spend my precious time condemning others for their misdeeds, especially when I have no authority over them. In so doing my own mouth won't lead me to sin.

Focused Prayer and Praises are a powerful spiritual combo. It changes seemingly hopeless situations from the root upwards. It looses seemingly permanent chains.

Things weren’t easy at all for the family. Their father had just retired from a government job, and they relocated closer home. Things were tough. Really tough.

Investments their Dad made to sustain the family after retirement didn’t yield the expected returns. It was like starting from square one for the family.

A family that was very comfortable, that extended a helping hands to others, now struggled to feed. With seven children, it was difficult.

In this chaos, the older children, had to hustle. The first two, wanted to further their education. The hunger was there even if the means seemed not to. And further they did.

Now let’s focus on the fourth child. He was barely twelve years, when he started learning how to fix phones.

He was so good, that through this means he contributed greatly to the family’s purse. Often helping out his two older ones who were in school.

Smart guy, he had eyes beyond phone repairs. For he sensed that soon the market would be crowded. Also he knew that his income from just repairs won’t be scalable.

So he went into trading of phone accessories. He managed the business so well, that a few years later, he opened his first phone plaza. Then a second, then a third.

He has the kind and generous nature of his late father. In his late twenties, he ventured into philanthropic work. Setting up a foundation for it, a few years later.

So far the foundation has built houses for several widows, sponsored major operations for the sick, and provided a bore hole service in his clan, among others.

Look around there are many grass to grace stories. Your financial situation isn't unredeemable.

Love isn't attachment. An Alpha+ male should love his partner, 'unattachedly.'

What makes you vulnerable, makes you overreact to your wife's idiosyncrasies isn't love.

No! Love is patient, it does not easily get provoked, etc.

What brings out that 'beast' in you in response to her idiosyncrasies is attachment. Attachment to your perceived notion of how she should behave.

What makes you insist you must travel with her for issues that she can handle alone, isn't love...it's attachment. Attachment to her.

What makes you call her severally, and when she doesn't pick it turns to a fight, isn't love, it's attachment. Attachment to her.

Love will make you a better partner, attachment won't.

Attachment isn't for Alpha+ males, if they must be attached, let it be to God alone.

Did the good book not say the woman's craving will be for the man?

That's how it is meant to be...if someone must be attached, complain for not calling, for lack of presence, wants to police your whereabouts etc, let it be your dear she... she can be attached, not you the Alpha+ male.

Your dear she isn't your mum. With mum it was understandable. There was a physical umbilical cord...that gave rise to the psychological cord.

There is no basis for that with your wife...break free...love her 'unattachedly' and feel the power, that comes from it, when you break free from the pull. The peace that comes with it, going forward as you relate with her.

When a Christian who strives to live morally, view and consciously refrains from idleness, aimlessness, same way he views and refrains from fornication, stealing, murder, what will his life look like in one year, two years, three years?

John 10:10 says the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy...it's often said in most quarters that the greatest asset we have is time.

Am I putting up a hard fight to protect my time? Or am I so distracted by this or by that, such that in light of John 10:10, the devil is indeed stealing my time, there by destroying my goals and purpose?

To the degree I am lax about using my time towards my goals, purpose, to the degree I have given the devil the avenue to steal my time.

Yesterday, I spent the hours in-between tasks on meditation. And even at work, I did my best to do each minute task with reverential conscientiousness.

Hence even at work and in between, to a large degree, I kept Experiencing God. Wish someone had taught me these little things in the past...

You need to have a framework over anything you do that contributes to Building Financial Wealth.

The books, videos, skills, work etc.

You don't just jump into it (at least not continue long in it) without having a framework that guides your action.

The framework will have milestones to measure how well you are doing, what you should do in the first place, when to pivot, etc.

Be fast, yet it isn't an excuse to just jump into something, that's a panic mentality. Have a framework to monitor progress.

A life of abundance begins with the mind.

Imagine two persons: James and John. Both lost all their money in a business deal. Over a few years, James becomes wealthy. John sinks into poverty and depression.

These situations are regular occurrences, thus I will not expand on it. I will rather go to practicals which I used to free myself from lack. It has been tested, and it works.

The root source of lack is not You. And it will never be You. You are simply the one observing what is happening. You are the one who sees and feels the life of financial lack. You are the observer, the noticer, the consciousness.

“Then what is it?”, you ask. The root source of lack is within. In the mind. It is the Scarce I Self. The Scarce I Self is the one speaking, the one providing excuses for the financial lack you see in your life.

Excuses ranging from the economy, witches, age, lack of capital, lack of education, lack of basic necessitates, curses, lack of jobs, lack of connections, etc.

This morning I was thinking how I wasted about three hours of my life, reading up/watching a recent political tussle, even on my bed as I lay to sleep. Thus sleeping late, which prevented me from waking in-between.

This morning, I reasoned that I spent three hours of my life on something that won't contribute to my purpose. On something that I have no influence over.

I felt bad. Infact so bad that I told God that gave me life:

"I'm sorry for wasting three hours of my life."

I felt better.

And I experientially realized that time utilization is an important element of holiness.

MODELS OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE.

There are different viewpoints regarding the exact meaning of Emotional Intelligence such that constructs also vary and researchers are constantly amending their own definitions. (Goleman (1998); Salovey and Mayer (2000), Petrides and Furnham (2007).

However, the common construct amongst various researchers in terms of terminology and operationalization are these three models:

a) Ability Model of Emotional Intelligence (AEI).

b) Mixed Model of Emotional Intelligence (MEI).

c) Trait Model of Emotional Intelligence (TEI).

2.3.1. Ability Model of Emotional Intelligence: Salovey and Mayer (2000) define Emotional Intelligence as "the ability to perceive emotion, integrate emotion to facilitate thought, understand emotions and to promote personal growth".

John D Mayer and Peter Salovey are the pioneers of the current emotional intelligence wave, which started in 1990.

They drew on research findings in the areas of: emotions, cognition, and psychotherapy, they concluded that some persons are more intelligent with their emotions than others (Salovey & Mayer, 1990).
Salovey and Mayer (2016) have consistently maintained that:

a) Emotional intelligence is an ability.

b) Ability is the best measurement of emotional intelligence.

The ability model views emotions as useful sources of information that help one make sense of, and navigate the social environment.

Ability model regard emotional intelligence as a pure form of mental ability and thus as pure intelligence. This ability is seen to manifest itself in certain adaptive behaviours that includes four types of abilities:

(i) Perceiving emotion: ability to detect and decipher emotion in faces.

(ii) Using emotion: ability to harness emotion to facilitate various cognitive activities.

(iii) Understanding emotion: ability to comprehend emotional language and to appreciate complicated relationship among emotions.

(iv) Managing emotion: ability to regulate emotions in ourselves and others.

2.3.2. Mixed Model of Emotional Intelligence: Goleman (1998), introduced Mixed Model of Emotional Intelligence. Daniel Goleman a psychologist and science writer, delved into the study of emotional intelligence after studying the works of Salovey and Mayer.

He conducted his own research and published his first book on the subject – Emotional Intelligence (1995) Followed by another book Working with emotional intelligence (1998).

His mixed model of emotional intelligence focuses on a wide range of competencies which drive among other things organizational success. Mixed models of emotional intelligence combine mental ability with personality characteristics such as optimism and well-being.

The model has five dimensions subsumed in his four major EI scales. (Barzii & Slaski 2003).

2.3.3. The Trait Model of Emotional Intelligence: Petrides and Furnham, (2007) proposed a conceptual distinction between the ability based model and a trait based model.

Trait emotional model is a constellation of emotion-related self-perceptions located at the lower levels of personality.
In lay terms, trait model of emotional intelligence refers to an individual's self-perceptions of their emotional abilities which encompasses behavioural dispositions and self-perceived abilities.

Despite differences in models, all the models suggest that emotional intelligence represents an ability to validly reason with emotions and to use emotions to enhance thought.

Intelligence theorists posit that each of the models has a relationship with other related constructs like leadership and personality (Lock, 2005; Robert et al, 2001).

I allow some cheat meals for eating whatever whatever I want. It usually serves a reward if I have been clean with my food for a period.

Even at that, of late I realise that I find it increasingly difficult to even indulge in unwholesome food.

The satisfaction derived isn't what it used to be years back. And each year, I notice a diminishing returns in satisfaction derived.

The next element to a life of health without drugs...is Exercise. Will discuss that in the next post.

Like my master Jesus, wastages should be avoided. Even in abundance, resources should be utilized.

Hab. 3:17-18‭‭. Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

No matter what or what isn't, in as much as there is breathe in me, I will always rejoice in God.

Why is it that you sleep, after you ejaculate?

Reminds me about what a senior colleague in the corporate world once said:

Those words still ring true to my ears even when he said it some fifteen years ago. And it will also ring true in the ears of an Alpha+ male.

Stop wasting your power, even if that's what society has come to accept.

Pay a LovePeddler for sex.

Have a side chick.

Sleep with your wife's relations/friends.

You may have read about that pastor from an African country who committed suicide after his adultery tape went viral.

It's not only rich men that commit adultery. Every one have their class..even the married bike man, has a regular girlfriend that will also fall for him.

Your money will just give you classy options.

Classy or not...it's same thing...you are wasting your power. An Alpha+ male doesn't waste his power.

Channel that energy into your purpose.

I call this spiritual exercise: Silence.

The art of asking God a question, then remain still, and listen for answers.

He always replies. I always perceive it when I am not distracted by the noise of my mind.

Asked three questions yesterday afternoon. Two I received answers. The third I was busy arguing with the answer, and we decided to give it more time, as the decision is still like three weeks away.

I'm trying to regularly include this habit before starting my day. I call it marching orders.

Two days this week, that I went against those marching orders, some preventable losses happened. I was at a place at the wrong time. A place I won't have been, if I had followed the marching orders.

Yesterday's marching order didn't make sense initially based on my personal calculations. Alas, when evening came it was the best decision.

It's tricky at first, and still atimes, because I may confuse the noises of the mind with the voice of God.

Yet, that's where consistent practice comes.

I pray that soon I will be in that state, where practically I listen and discern the voice of God, before any thing that will take a considerable amount of my time, energy, and money.

Silence is a practice popularized to me by the pentecostals. Yet I remember attending a large gathering of my previous religious group, and one woman during an interview, says she used a method like this to make decisions when she lost her husband.

She will put a chair before her, and imagine God was sitting there. She will now ask questions about her business, child rearing, etc...wait and listen. And before leaving that scene she is certain of what to do.

With this method she was able to singlehandedly train her kids. And raised responsible children. That are now grown adults.

It was at odd with the established norms of the religious group. At least I haven't read such a method from any of their materials.

Yet that interview proved something: There are seekers everywhere. People are after solutions, that don't contradict what they know from their sacred text. It doesn't matter if such methods are popularized by the group or not.

Yesterday, it seems there was a setback in a project I was aiming for. I noticed subtle signs of worry.

I knew I had choices, either allow it, resist it, or channel it upwards.

The first will lead me down to hell, the last up to heaven. I want to be led up to heaven and I used a word from a poem I wrote some time ago.

The innocent, angelic face of a new born baby inspired me to write the poem. The poem has about 12 pair of words that are opposites.

Example: Joy - Sadness. Faith - Worry. Some positive opposites are fruits of the holy spirit (Gal. 5:22,23)

Though I wrote it for the baby, I found out it could also serve as an antidote for an adult.

As I noticed worry creeping in, after that seeming setback. After a brief prayer, I filled my thoughts with the word Faith. In less than 2 minutes, as I was on my way home, the effect was powerful.

So powerful that the smile on my face was like that of someone who received the best news of his life.

Meen, it can be tough at times. You think you have already clinched the next phase of that project.

Then suddenly the contact person goes blank. No responding to calls, of mails, texts. Just blank.

What do you do?

Time is your most precious Asset. You don't have the time to mourn.

Dust yourself as soon as possible. Then go over to the next thing.

Who knows, the next thing may be bigger, such that the one that went blank assuming it came through, would have prevented it.

Who knows?

At least console yourself with that and March on.

No time. That's the second most precious Asset you have, the first is your ideas.

Learn to focus. Increase your power of concentration.

Wealth creators have a high level of focus. It's habitual. It pervades everything they choose to engage in.

Intentionally, start developing this habit. Be laser focused in everything you do.

I spoke to a good friend today, who also doubles as a business partner in a venture. He told me about his rising B.P.

Hmmm...bills need to be paid, it's understandable. I listened, for with that he can unburden himself.

After that, I told him to go through Philippians 4: 6,7.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Then I told him a tactic I regularly employ. I paraphrase the verse into a sentence or a few words. Then repeat that sentence to myself.

I told him my paraphrase for Phi. 4: 6,7: Relax. Pray. Peace.

Continually I repeat these words to myself. I use this method, when I am not praying exclusively. Like when I am busy with home chores or taking a walk, or amongst people. This makes it easy to focus, even amidst other activities.

The essence like I told him are: It has a calming effect on one's nerves. Colours the mind with such beautiful words. And sinks into one's spirit/subconscious mind

Laziness is a habit that becomes engrained due to idleness. In a sense such a person don kpai before he die.

In a day, never be aimless...no income work to do?

Create something, something that will keep your mind busy.

Something that is instilling in you the habit of industriousness.

Something that is work.

At first, just get consistently productive,...be assured that in so doing, you will stumble across another that can add income to your bank account...

And from there, if you don't give up on the quest to be Build Financial Wealth, a vehicle that will enable you manifest such financial wealth will also manifest.

And from there financial wealth will manifest.
