You don't have to lend simply because you have money. Protect money meant for your rent, business, savings, and investments.Don't let life happen to you. A default NO will save lots of headache in the long run. Sometimes the answer is simply, "I can buy it, but not yet—let me invest this first."Delayed gratification will help anyone at whatever financial level. Above all, discernment is what matters - when to say YES/NO, who to answer and who to ignore/block. At the end, you will bear the consequences, alone most times. |
Yes, there are bad eggs but lumping everyone together is not how a nation is built. Meanwhile, does that mean he's also a liar and a fraudster? |
Good one. Knowledge is important. More important is being able to apply the knowledge per your situation. May the Lord give us understanding. |

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted 47,200 pills of Captagon, a synthetic amphetamine popularly dubbed the ‘Jihadi drug’, and more than 3.9 million opioid tablets worth over N6.2 billion at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos. With all the seizures that the NDLEA has been doing for about 5 years now, some very funny US Congress folks want to designate Nigeria as a narco state. If that's the standard and with the way drugs move in the US and their citizens are so drug-addled, they should also self-declare as a narco state. (Before anyone talks about BAT being allegedly involved in a drug forfeiture case more than 3 deacdes ago, this is not about that.) |
"The only way you can seriously charge tackling incumbent is to come together to tackle and to have the force.Nothing but fact here but will they set aside their ego to produce a better candidate to contest this election? Not likely. |
What exactly is he getting at because Igbos are still doing very well, but maybe not in the traditional sense. These are the days of streaming platforms and social media and igbo creators and producers are still leading the pack in volume. |
Liverpool needs serious help this season before it's too late. |
I don't pity these spokespersons. They saw the job with the rough edges and took it. It's all par for the course. |
It's not surprising. And you wonder why some will come online and excuse and even defend the obvious tone-deaf behaviour of this government and its cronies. |
There is a reason he himself is not talking about this issue. |
MrEar:I thought it was only in my immediate circle. Most can no longer defend him. Others simply don't care about anything he does regardless of how bad it is. Especially his core base in the US. |
This is a joke but it's also serious. If you have to pride yourself as the greatest, know that you're far from it. |
I doubt anything will come of this especially as it's not a recent concern. Plus this administration did not pay $9m consulting fee for nothing. |
Even though this is for users of the WhatsApp Business API, it will affect some businesses. And they will try to absorb the cost and when they can't, they pass it on the customer in some way. Let's see how long this lasts before they reconsider. |
I don't know how you can be a journalist and continue to try and insert yourself into politician's tug of war. Focus on the issues. Leave the name-calling as much as possible. |
I wish more people would read this report and understand what the country is missing by not having functional refineries. Even Iran has functional refineries. 'Nuff said. |
Plenty talk. Very little specifics. What are the exact things that will change in the power sector - across generation, transmission and distribution? Not to talk of the customer experience. Even developed nations still find a way to "subsidize" certain services. That's part of how you make the commonwealth actually go round the citizens. It's not just by sharing money. |
The US is solving their problem (removing the ISIS commander in the region and disrupting the flow of their network and logistics). And yes, it also affects Nigeria. But what's the government doing about bandits and terrorists in different parts of the country, still causing havoc? US will see it as internal issue. Does our leaders see it as such? |
There is a mismatch between the title and the content. How is subsidizing transport related to CNG conversion? Anyways, subsidy is subsidy. |
VDM: I’m disappointed because of the pointless reason he gave for why I was invited. Their problem is that the son of nobody was invited.”That was not the problem. Would VDM be able to debate a lawyer like Falana on national issues? Just because you talk in front of a camera and have sources does not mean you actually understand the issues. And VDM missed his chance. He should have challenged Falana to a debate on topical issues. The same way journalists like Mehdi Hasan and talking heads like Tucker Carlson challenges politicians in the US. |
At this point, NBA is just catching cruise but once in a while, their members should call them out as they see fit. The association does not stand for itself. The members make it what it is. |
That's the patriotic spirit. Generally, we don't have an issue with one another or the security forces. It's the politicians who, more often than not, try to sow seeds of divisions among us for their benefit. |
In this same Nigeria... more so in Abuja, livestock farming is booming. It's alright. I wish him well. |
Firsthand account is okay but we need corroborated evidence abeg. |
Might be your body make up. And it may be storing up to appear sometime in the future. |
Thank God for your life and thank you for sharing your experience. Hope others will learn. People, abeg let the food do small work in your body before lying down. |
It's politics, people! |
Nostalgic |
Minister: We've done N600billion in cash transfers to support vulnerable Nigerians and reached about 10million householdsHis answer says one thing. The stats say another thing. The Press should press these guys' necks harder with tough questions.
|
There are rules though about advertising and more about political advertising. Before casting a stone on the Lagos state, let's hope his campaign team did the right thing. If they did, we're sure to see their public rebuttal. |
Valid question: if there was proof of his corruption, why has he not been prosecuted? Not even his aides (who might know one or two). But it seems it's all part of the rhetorics of politics. |
