The OP has spoken the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. He that has ears, let him hear what has been said. |
Quite impressive. More so, in Kwara State. Hopefully the external and internal conditions favour her. |
In this life, it's either you're learning or you're earning. If you're able to find the sweet spot to do both, you're on the fast lane. This is a great place to start one's career. But they can only take so much per time. Best of luck to those shortlisted. |

You don't need to date anybody. You'll be fine. Men are no longer willing to be ATM machine. |
This freed up resources he's alluding to is exactly where... Are salaries being paid across the states? Are infrastructure being built across the federal and state roads? Are LGs living up to their role? Are these newly freed up funds impacting the everyday man? That's how you show workings. Not that removal of fuel subsidy had freed up funds. |
The controversy has since centred on whether the fiscal gains from subsidy removal have sufficiently translated into improved living conditions for Nigerians. In 2.5 years, the purported savings from fuel subsidy and FC reforms was N15.8trn and made available across the three tiers of government. Can they also highlight what has been done with these funds? What infrastructure has been started? How much was it? Who benefitted from the contract? How many people will benefit from the project at different phases? And are we still paying subsidies till date? |
When I see stories like this, I just wonder how people leave things to chance. |
This is not true. Yes, BAT has questions on his past but he's not an illiterate. The same can not be said of PMB. You don't have to like BAT or his policies (I don't) but lies is not what we should promote. It won't help the country. He has shown an understanding of the issues, even if his policies do not support a wholesome solution or deliver results that's embraced by many. Several of his contemporaries dating back more than 30 years continue to attest to his intelligence, accounting and political skills. |
Your body is not value in itself, no matter how much money you exchange for it. You can develop the right skills, regardless of where you are. That will help you long term. And this is for male and female. Even some males have resorted to begging. |
This is not an IQ test. It's a trick question. Going by the words in the question: four, eight and one nine (not four eights and one nine, not four, eight and nineteen, not four eights and a nine), my answer is D. 489. Meanwhile ChatGPT says: It doesn't mean the numbers 4, 8, and 9. It means: four 8s → 8 8 8 8 one 9 → 9 Put them together: 88889 ✅ So C. 88889 has four eights and one nine. The wording deliberately makes you want to interpret it as “four, eight, and nine,” which would point toward 4819, but that's not what the sentence actually says. And Meta says: None of them have the number 4, 8, and 1 nine. It's asking about the words: "four, eight and one nine" So the answer is option B, 4819 Never fully rely on AI. Know your stuff! four |
Good advice but some ladies have turned the whole relationship thing into a money-making venture. And some men keep falling into the trap. It's not sustainable for either party. Imagine a guy with a lady and you're both thinking of how to sabotage yourselves because of money instead of smartly building a life together. No one is dull. Continue to build useful skills... |
Enough of shouting about the issues, suggest sensible government initiatives. Then add your own legitimate thoughts on how people can earn more. My own contribution is in my signature below 👇🏼 |
BlackViper:I looked at the data and that's the first thing that occurred to me as well. We need a sincere census in this country. And we need more raw verified data across board. |
She begs. Others threaten. What matters is that the loan company must recoup their money + interests. |
APC is playing the game better than others - they know their way with numbers and the voters that matter. Online noise won't win votes. It can shape perception, but winning votes takes more than that. But gradually, we can all continue to build a better coalition and demand better from our government - whichever party is in power. |
According to Dangote, solving Africa’s power challenges requires governments, financial institutions and investors to work together because increased electricity supply can boost businesses, create jobs and increase government revenue. All over the developed world, government took the lead to foster the development in infrastructure - look at the US, Europe, China and even the Middle East. The balancing act of forward thinking, monetary policies and PPP management can only be done by experienced hands, not selfish leaders. |
No lies detected. You don't have to like someone to agree or disagree with them. Insecurity won't be this strong if there is sufficient political will to stop it. |
Who are these guys? Which kind of talk is this? We're all Nigerians first before parties. |
FIJ can call out the political rhetorics and also focus on the specifics of crude global prices. How are fuel prices increasing and subsidy is also increasing year after year? That maths is not mathing! |
Trainings are good. Tools are good. What we need more of is political will and national cohesion to see this through. |
Enough stories of how bad things were. What have you done now to actually improve people's lives? BATists, this is your chance. With actual proofs pls. |
You should have no reason to be afraid IF you've done things right. But you ARE afraid because you know you've betrayed the country and the people. The day of serious reckoning can't come soon enough. |
Voting and steady advocacy still works and that's why some are hoping to silent the people by any means necessary. |
SixSeven:Doom scrolling has replaced critical thinking with no result to show than despair, depression and ill heath. |
This life... ![]() Hopefully, he has learnt his lesson an doesn't go back to being poor. Making money is not enough to escape poverty. |
Oh well... |
As good as this is (in terms of macroeconomic conditions), how does this help the common man? Social programs are not enough. Government should invest in more PPP across different industries with specific high-end trainings. And for heaven's sake, reduce the da*n corruption. |
Good counter. More muslim leaders will do well to toe that line. This is a multi-religious country. Let's tread with caution. |
As much as we might blame technology for some evils, let's know that the evil usually resides in the humans interfacing with technology. The evil thoughts come from within. There is always someone behind the masquerade. There is always someone behind the magic. AI didn't land him in prison. He landed himself there. Now, that's more wasted years even though AI could legitimately change his life for the better if he only chose right. Hopefully others learn and CHOOSE right. |
That financial literacy thing is so underrated. The earlier you learn it, the better. You just have to learn how to make money. And more. Legitimately. And save habitually (delayed gratification). And invest. Acquire necessary skills and learn how money works before you land into hot water. And if you're in hot water already, you have to avoid going deeper. |
No one can borrow their way out of economic problems. No individual. No country. You fix up your leakages and bad habits first and then you use borrowing to scale up. |
