Finally, it has risen to his attention. That took quite a while. |
The pool boys are still finding their morale...

Many people seem to want Arsenal to lose this night because of pure football beef... But it won't be Napoli.

19 Children! Families have been thrown in turmoil because of this woman and her syndicate. |
“Nigeria cannot achieve prosperity by allowing government to swallow the credit that should finance production. An economy grows when businesses borrow to build factories, farmers borrow to expand production and entrepreneurs access affordable capital to create jobs — not when government becomes the biggest and most voracious customer in the banking hall."Okay, we know that. "My administration will impose fiscal discipline, cut waste, prioritise productive expenditure and progressively reduce government’s suffocating dependence on the domestic credit market."How exactly? Where is the detailed proposal? Where are your economic surrogates on the talk shows or even anywhere? |
Hate him or like him, Tinubu is a consummate politician. He knows the game and is willing to play it (and more). Obi talks a good game but does not know how to play the game. Now, the game does not have to involve corrupt practices. But it definitely involves grooming people ACROSS the length and breadth of the nation to work and fight with and for you, raising funds, distributing resources to meet your targets, lobbying the international community, reaching far and wide across the political and traditional landscape. And then the media - traditional and digital. For someone who could not solve the Labour party issue post-2023 election and increase the potency of the Obidient movement, it's very doubtful he knows what it takes to clinch Aso Rock this time around. And instead of the opposition to come together and, by all means, settle for a unity ticket and propose a reasonable manifesto with solid proposals to national issues, they are playing to the gallery, giving BAT a greater privilege. |
Iran strategically undermined the US despite the gains the US has made in securing the Strait. This will rally support in Iran and improve their propaganda. This is not a good look for DJT as the midterms draw near. |
Israel has a lot of things going for them but with Bibi at the helm (and Trump at his hip), he's ensuring that goodwill is eroded by the day. |
According to a northern APC leader who spoke on condition of anonymity...The platform can do better by sharing more details about the supposed APC leader (understandably not the name). Let's know those who are doing the calculations. And what's with this ridiculous power-sharing plan by any party. How can a couuntry develop like that? But that's what happens when strange bedfellows are lumped together in an arranged marriage. Let's all agree on competence and we can actually then see potentially competent people from all over the country. |
Electing a suspected criminal has a big consequences on the citizens both directly and indirectly .This right here is one serious concern that is usually overlooked. |
This article needs to be boiled down for those who argue for the policies of this administration. Nigeria should avoid interpreting the rise of premium consumption as evidence that the broader population has escaped the pressures of declining purchasing power. The two realities can exist simultaneously. The distance between the haves and have-nots is increasing at a dramatic pace and it's also contributing to the abysmal security situation. |
10 shares minimum. Opening @ N525/share. Everyone can have a stake. Crowdfunding at its best. In all you do in this life, learn the money game. |
Different strokes for different folks. And yes, he's entitled to his opinion. Just wondering how many people will follow that opinion because it's him. |
maasoap:When you carefully look at the comments DJT was making regarding Canada, once he won the election, you'd see the context of my initial comment. And by working for the people, what he could have done at that time was ensure his transition team was working with the Biden Admin at the time to ensure the US is properly served whether the state voted for him or not (and also publicly stand behind it, not making derogatory comments against Canada or California on Truth Social). And there is no need for "you sure say you're thinking straight?" in a supposedly civilized conversation. |
tnerro1:Does he have this infographic fleshed out as a policy recommendation on a website (personal or campaign? |
AMI3:Global crude oil prices affect everything related to crude. Government has a role to play to cushion the effects with the citizens. |
OlujobaSamuel:I understand how the process works but the full responsibility is on the government. Their job is to ensure a clean environment. They are to set up a system that works, by working with every party involved - from the contractors to the citizens. |
Shimmaa:Things will get better. Keep the spirit alive. |
Just went through this thread. Things are happening but people have to survive. No doubt, the fuel subsidy and FX exchange floating really made things worse for the business, car owner, driver and rider altogether. What a country! |
“The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” — Walt Disney |
What's in the agreement signed by the parties? Is that agreement still in force? And how did the gate get faulty? Work with some facts and be reasonable. |
Even though I understand the sentiment (the old usually feels better than the new), why can't we chart a way forward than try reliving the past? |
Countries with less size and less population have reasonable leadership and collective ambition to achieve their goals. Africa can and should look onward for homegrown solutions. |
He's loud now when elections are close. How has he nurtured this convo for the past 3 years? |
Easy to say until you're in power and then... |
Ms Kliner: “I want the conversation to focus on making sure every family facing an unimaginable loss has that same clarity from the start. Getting this right for the families left behind isn’t a footnote – it’s part of how we honour the service and sacrifice of those we lost.”And she's right. It should not be that hard but that's what happens when politicians play politics with the lives of the citizens. Trump: “A lot of people don’t call it a war. I call it a military conflict, because it’s small potatoes for us.”It's not about what you call it. It's about what it is. And no matter how you side-step the law, it catches up to you. The US can do better than this. |
This is like looking for scapegoats. Were those same people not doing their jobs before? The leaders are the ones that have dropped the ball. |
Brent crude was around $65 in January of this year. It's hovering around $100 about now. And that will somehow affect fuel prices across every country. Some will say it does not concern others who the US President is and which party is in power. Well, hopefully it's globally obvious that it concerns everyone. This unnecessary craziness and global upheaval must stop. |
May this brand of Christianity impart more lives for Christ. |
What is he teaching the younger generation? He could have left it that the traditional leaders should not interfere in partisan politics. There is no need to call for insults, verbal abuse or name-calling if they do otherwise. |
May his soul RIP. Money won't make you wise. Before chasing money, by all means chase wisdom. |
Drugs. Guns. Violence. Death. Nothing good came of the life of the young lad. Gone at a young age due to the negative influence of culture and environment. Hopefully others will learn and adjust. |
