aaronson: The best form of husband protection is granting him freedom to go explore, Be the one to even push him out by simply telling him to go have fun, Believe me you would successfully keep you man in check because he would tell you everything he does outside the home, his adventures and escapades. While he does that, he would still respect you for knowing better and a time would come, he would instantly out grow the phase in life of chasing small small girls. You sound like a bachelor and I am certain that you don't have a daughter. I agree that excessive nagging is not good but I disagree with the rest. The unpleasant reality about your theory is that you will get carried away (and never return) easily because there will always be somebody better than your partner. You can leave your present partner and find someone better and after that one, you will still find someone better. The only thing that will keep you in check is discipline. |

If this is not a joke, my opinion is that only the man can protect himself from small small girls by refusing to place himself in compromising situations. No matter how sexy, prayerful or submissive a woman is, she can never ever dissuade a man from temptation. Of course the woman has her duties too. Like not letting yourself go, giving him peace of mind, etc. But the ball is in the man's court. |

gory24: So I went to First bank today, armed with all the informations I have gathered from this awsome thread.I watched and smiled as the banking officer tried to play smart on TB rates, and then I started talking, when iwas done, the Lady said; "Oga I think you should have been a banker" ..God bless the brilliant minds that started this thread,as I was a rookie in TB when I came in here,nw I am very well informed..Thanks to every1 for keeping this thread alive..JahBless. They will always advice you to go for FD. My answer has always been centered on inflation rate. I tell them that if the purchasing power of my money is reducing at 17%, and you want to offer me 4% FD I will still be loosing ( albeit still better than ordinary savings account) and the aim is defeated. This is the layman explanation I give them and they leave me alone . |

Baboo13: Hello T-billanders.
I just got the wind of T-bills and all I can say is info is power. I've taken time to read about T-bills from page one. These are my questions
Does GTB accept 100k for purchase of T-bills? If not, what other banks accept 100k
What is the discount rate of GTB for 91 days maturity.
When is the next auction?
Thanks. I use ecobank and they accept 100000. |

freeman67: Response...
1. No you must not be there physically but you will have to contact your account officer to send you the form to fill.. After Filling and signing then you send it back to him/her and ensure it is delivered and delivery acknowledged.
2. On Stanbic IBTC Tender Form the minimum amount written there is N100,000 and addition should be in multiple of N10,000.
Hope this helps. What rate do you advise I bid for? (364 days) |

Sleeping in poultry.. This is wickedness. I believe Nigeria's major problem is overpopulation. Why would you have children you can not take care of? If you talk family planning, they will come up with ridiculous conspiracy theories. Where are the parents of this girl |

Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Annalise(f): 10:41am On Sep 29, 2016 |
battleaxe: Please, this is incorrect.
I suggest people still take the time to read the first few pages to correctly understand the process.
If your principal is 1M and based on tenor/interest rate, you get an interest of 130k; you get your interest upfront(depending on bank, entire principal or principal-interest may be debited).
You get your 1M back at the end of the tenor.
Your total interest over the entire period is still 130k.
Pls let us be guided accordingly, so people can take the correct decisions. Hello, I was told by my bank Ecobank, to bid for 17% (364 days). What do you think? |

ukay2: @honeyfave...sorry for the late reply. ..was very busy at work....I know someone has answered your question correctly.
Those that are afraid if FGN will pay back their face value at maturity should FEAR NOT... If you understand what FGN uses these money to do...infrastructural developments...you will be encouraged to support the government at all times while you get good secured interest upfront.... I TRUST NTB more than FIXED DEPOSIT IN ANY NIGERIAN BANKS....
All the face values i have invested for years have always returned to my account at maturity....at times I have even forgotten except for the alert....even the one I did during the general election has returned to my account. .....what I usually tell pals is that as far as this entity NIGERIA remains, NTB programme continues and will never fail... Hello, how much do you advise I bid for? (364 days). Someone told me to go for 17%. |

GuyfawkesAB: I weep when I see the level of ignorance on display. One post was even arguing that because Bauchi is land-locked, they can't have blue water body like this.
That's Wikki Warm Spring, situated within Yankari Game Reserve. The only addition to the picture while it was being enhanced by the photographer are the fishes (Shark especially).
I bet most of the ignoramuses can't tell if they are shown other beautiful places in Nigeria like Azumini Blue lake, Tiga Dam Lake, Riyom Falls, Asop Falls etc
Read and do proper research before you let your ignorance expose you.
Regards Only sensible comment so far. All I can say is that the benefits of being exposed can't be underrated. |

"Pretending I was passing by, I swiftly went for the remote from under her short gown and grabbed it." too funny. Meanwhile, don't heed the advice of bachelors advising you to hit her. It's better you send her away. Some women become more vicious after you hit them, instead of taming them as most of the small boys here have suggested. |
