I have been to a Sufi event once. I was so terrified I was reciting dua just imagine. They were in a trance, pupils dilated and everything. They were laying hands on each other and falling down. Spraying turare and whatnot. They even brought a piano to the event. Mallams and their students faced themselves and were dancing. I couldn't wait to #GETOUT like that movie . I was so uncomfortable astaghfirrulah. |

PartsContinent: If I were your wife I will divorce you immediately. Cos you are a pu**y. You can't beat the living day out of your sister ?? your wife o, the mother of your son. You could allow someone else touch your wife to the point of blood and that person is not in the hospital fighting for his life?? Why are u a man please?? You are a big disgrace to masculinity. Big shame on you. She's also the one that wants to go to d police station and not you? I wonder how she's so unfortunate to end up with a disgrace like you. Damn!! It's obvious the wife is a psycho. If he beats her now, the next thing she will look for acid and pour on his wife. I strongly believe this is a case for the police and/or a psychiatrist. |

OP you need to put your sister on involuntary psychiatric hold. You should just act like you are having a family meeting, next thing you bundle her to a good health facility. That type of Tbillz intervention. You need it now or never, I promise that things will get worse if you do nothing now. |

Roseey0: These pins were removed from my nephew's body last week. He has been sick for over 2months and we have been treating malaria until my Aunt suggested that we go check pin.
Thank God we have been using just drugs for his treatment all this while. If we had given him injection with the pin present in his body, it would have been a death case.
People don't believe this but I saw it live and direct. Immediately it was removed, he came very active and started eating. This is someone that struggles to eat for over a month now.

This question is kinda sorta redundant. It's the rational thing to do. Nobody likes to share. There are things we do and accept just to please Allah and secure our place in Paradise, not because we just like doing it. Some of the major benefits of marriage are the synergy and stability of a two parent home and long term companionship. This is harder with polygamy. Polygamy of these days is not practiced with taqwa. The man will already be doing zinna with wife to be. If you like a woman, you send your people to her people, instead of secret hotel room dates. As for me, if I would go into polygamy, I would prefer 3rd or 4th wife. I would prefer the people I meet at home to be used to the lifestyle. Also, advice for sisters going into polygamy. If you want to enjoy your marriage, find a married man who speaks well and says good things about his wife/wives at home. They make the best husbands. Please, brothers, try to be financially buoyant before thinking of marriage. Not a prerequisite, but things will be easier for everyone. Also encourage your wives to be gainfully employed. Even if it is roasting corn in the market, just encourage them to be busy with something. |

Chijiuche: My dear Fruitful women,
Happy new year! I give all glory to God for preserving our life to see the new year 2017. In all circumstances, I will continue to give him praise
This is my third MC. Am heart broken. Diagnosed with PCOS and hormonal imbalance though with regular menstrual cycle. Naturopath doc I met in the US prescribed Maca, Vitex, Insitol, Fish oil,Bragg ACV, Vit C. I started them in Oct 2015, took in Dec 2015. Had Blighted Ovum ( Sac and no fetus) Evacuated on Feb 2016
Continued the drugs, took in May 2016 but Just thick lining ( No Sac) and was evacuated June 2016.
I changed my lifestyle, started Ketogenic dieting and lost 16kg, continued with Maca, Vitex, Insitol,Bragg ACV Fish oil, added COQ ubiqinol, Natural progesterone and Prenatal and i took in again in Oct 2016. I had Missed abortion - Fetus stopped growing at 6 weeks 3 day and no heart beat and was just evacuated on 31st Dec 2016 ( 3 days ago).
All have been attributed to Chromosomal abnormality and no further explanation have been given leaving me confused. My two colleagues had IVF treatment at Eko hospital Ikeja and was successful. I plan commencing IVF treatment as i cannot wait any longer but i am afraid whether it will work for me.
Does IVF eliminate the risk of chromosomal abnormality and miscarriage? Your feedback would be very helpful. I have read somewhere that some vitamins can increase your risk of miscarriages like vitamin A. Though folic acid, b complex and vitamin D Have helped women who's miscarriage were linked to chromosomal abnormalities. Also, some fish oil can contain mecury which is dangerous for foetal development. Just Cod liver oil has been known to be safe. Sorry about your ordeal. You could try to pick only the simple necessary vitamins. Best of luck. |

elhafeez: A.B.U Zaria is OK. it depends on how serious and who your supervisor is. I started my MSc in 2012 and completed it in 2014. I started my PhD in 2015 but I haven't done anything much. During my first the chairman of my supervisory committee (3 members ) was on sabbatical I couldn't do much. In my second year they were calling me but I went to make money. The school fees is about 140K per session. I was thinking if abandoning the programme but I have wasted time and money already. And trying to please 3 different people on a research is difficult. I was in south Africa to present a paper in a conference at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University at port Elizabeth in Nov-Dec last year. I was impressed with their facilities and academic staff. You have only one supervisor and access to him always. You can complete your PhD in 2 to 3 years. The only problem is the fund. I don't have money for the cost of living and accommodation. SA it's cheaper than Europe and UK and even better than some schools there. I will advise anyone who want to do his PhD to travel out. Most post graduate candidates after completing their course work just leave and don't come back or come to see supervisors once in a while. In A.B.U student in different department have different experience. But if you are serious you will graduate in good time. How much for tuition at the SA university? |

Make she go meet that lady shoemaker to design her some pretty flat shoe This is not Nigeria were you see people at the park with high heels. The purpose of flip flops is not just for the bathroom. In fact, it is safer to shower barefoot. Except your bathroom is dirty and slimey. Try and look at tourist pictures on pages like national geographic, travelnoir, matador, etc. They all wear comfortable flip flops. |
