Good morning, I just got this now, and I remember telling them I was denied visa 2019 and all, while filling the im form, please I would appreciate if someone could help me out how I should tackle this, or if someone was been sent a wrong false accuse information.
I remember someone having this problem and how he solved it

Did you fill the immm form and indicated you were denied a us visa.
Did you save the immm form and reopen to ensure once opened, all you filled is there cos most times when u fill and save, you go back again and u will be surprised it's blank.

Did you validate before saving the immm form.

If yes to all this, please you need to write an explanation saying you filled the imm form truthfully by disclosing your previously denials on the imm you applied with.

I would have suggested you send that same imm form but not sure it will work


I do not know wat they mean by charge back...

You are letting them know that your application has exceeded the standard processing time. Yiu wish to know whats delaying your app as your resumption time is drawing close ...no special format. Just express yourself in a professional way

Try sending mails and webforms first. If nothing, you can then order for your gcms note

Hello Gurus and everyone in the house, been following this trend since part 17 and I must commend the work been done here. I just received the NSE request letter to submit My Bank Statement Certificate and IELTS but my sponsors account isint a Nigerian account and is not based in Nigeria. How do I go about this?? Tho I have seen one or two cases like this but cants find the page on this forum

Timeline below:
2nd April 2021- Application Submitted

3rd April 2021 - Biometrics request

7th April 2021 - Biometrics done and updated (same day)

20th April 2021 - NSE request letter for ielts and MBS

If your sponsors bank dont have the MBS, tell your sponsor to print a 6months bank statement or a year statement. Attach a letter to explain why you can't provide the MBS for the account.

Omo this canada of a thing don dey tire me oooo, I did biometric since February 12 and my sponsor have 45M in his zenith bank account that we uploaded and the one the bank sent to them also, since February 12 omo nothing nothing, only that they requested for IELTS but I didnt met their requirements so my agent just send them IELTS Waver letter or I don't know what he called it... The last time they updated my profile) timeline is on Feb 17......

If you have access to your app, you should send webforms or emails and apply for your gcms note

She plans to go for an MSc in a specialized aspect of food science in Canada. She has had no work experience in her field of study except for 6months IT but she is very interested in this FOOD area. Please what can be the justification in her SOP/LOE to VO for her plan to study in Canada.

Its hard to gain admission If she does not have significant work experience in the intended course, 6months IT is not enough besides what reasons made her to opt to go for a masters in a particular area of Food Sci . If she wishes to apply for visa, do not include the masters she has acquired already.

If you sent docs to IRCC via webform or mail. It won't be visible on your visa portal.

My school (Algonquin College) can't offer invoice in USD as my bank told me to request for it because my bank don't have CAD to pay, what can i do please?

Flywire is your best bet cos I am not 100% sure if you pay through bank. It will get to the school on or before 30th of this month

Your application is still young so all you need to find out is the standard time for processing, if its within the time line, you have to relax. If you send a webform or mail and you are still within the timeline, they wont reply you.

You should get an NSE for MBS(mybankstatement) certificate only then unless you have already submitted it or they find the 6months you submitted okay.

Therefore there's no issue. You just have to be patient

Another options paying using Form A in the bank but it takes time before the money reaches the school.

I have a female close friend processing this Canada.. tho we both did our biometrics November 3 2020, I was declined this January because i can’t seem to provide mybankstatement and IELTS but she provided both and after a month later , she was called for her medicals and she has done it since February and now it’s over 2 months since she has done her medicals and there is no response nor any message on her mails.
Please what can she do? She is really sad and doesn’t know what to do. Any notable answers will be appreciated. Thanks !.

Send regular mails to IRCC and/or also apply for her gcms note.

Has it been noted she passed the medicals on her visa portal?

You can apply for your study permit with it. You can go ahead and attach a scratch card if the by wish to verify though they dont. But if its admission, you must submit the scratch card cos they verify

Check out the course you are interested most likely Botany.. Yes Siwes is also a work experience.

so go to the schools portal and course and check if the program is open for January admission.

I want to go for a pgd course because that's the only way I know I can go for my masters. I did 2 other courses from the chartered institute of customer relations management and chartered institute of human resource management during my Nysc based on Nysc recommendation. I've been following this trend now and with what has been said previously about choosing courses it might be a bad idea to choose any course not related to my undergraduate course of study [or in my case is it different?]. Now my questions are
1.what are my chances of getting Canadian study permit for a pgd course.
2. What courses will the house recommend I go for for the pgd course.
3. When should I start my online application for January intake?
I don't know the answer to these questions that's why I'm asking I will be very grateful if my questions are answered. Thank you

For the bolded, you just need to have or have had prior experience in the intended course.

1) the chances are equal to getting a visa with masters. So many people here have been approved with a pgd.
2) what course do you have experience in Botany or HR.
3) you mean january 2022 admissions, that should be towards may. For visa, immediately.

The point you laid out is the norm and correct, no doubt. But OP's point of view is also very correct. Remember there are different ways to make a woman happy.

Study loan isn't popular with Nigerians because of its unavailability and uneasy access. The government is nonchalant to look into this area that can benefit Nigerian students more.

Anything that involves immigration concerns justifiable evidence and critical explanation; whether it's false or not. If you do some research, you will understand that some Nigerians studying abroad took study loans.

This can just be taken as reverse psychology of the visa norm for Nigeria's international students.

Okay, let me clarify some things to you, because it is clear you don't have experience in the area of loans for academic studies abroad. But I know people who do.

A person may have 100 million Naira in their account, but there are various reasons a VO may refuse a person's visa request.

A bank statement communicates a great deal of things.

100 million Naira doesn't always mean availability of funds. If a VO sniffs even the slightest of falsehood, it raises suspicions.

Now, a course mate of mind got his study visa with bank loan. He got loan to foot in first semester tuition, and he covered the rest. He had ample fund for the rest.

He wasn't refused.

The point I am trying to make here is that there's so much that goes into visa processing that many people do not know.

A person who seems to have a perfect visa application may be refused for reasons best known to VOs.

And a person who seems to have a less perfect visa application may get the acceptance.

However, one thing is certain. People can get student visa via student loan if done right.


Secondly

Lenders do not give you loans before the visa is approved... They do so after the visa is approved.

Therefore, even if people are refused visa, it doesn't make them indebted to the lenders. The loan arrangement can be canceled.

However, what happens most cases is that they provide borrowers with loan documents that they can present to VOs for student visa application.

If international students weren't taking loans, organizations like Mpower will not exist. They certainly will not excel to this day. A lot of Indians do it too.


Paying back

Student loans arrangements are different from regular loans. In most cases, students only pay a small amount of interest monthly until several months after graduation.

These things have been done in such a way that it doesn't result in students slaving for hours even as they study in school.

I understand this is not something you have experience with.
