You can ask people who work in banks to confirm. That's the reason why you send a stamped bank account to them and a letter from your bank confirming you have that amount in your account. They can't reveal your bank to a third party.

And you think those two documents cant be forged. thats why they call your bank to confirm.

IRCC officials are trained. They don't need to call your bank to know the nooks and crannies of your financial situation. They are former lawyers and accountants that know so much about these compact fields. They act on their own discretion and have links with secret service and investigators in their country. They even know a lot about your country

not all IRCC officials are lawyers and accountants o. infact nobody here knows.

Its known to be the Secondary Verification prior before the counterfoil is appended to the passport. It almost became 'the new norm' in 2019 before Covid-19 distabilized usual activities.

Nobody know if the style would still be effected this time round due to Covid-19. Pre-Covid-19, during the SV, passport stamping took up to a 3 weeks to 1 month (more or less). We can only find out when IRCC starts or finish doing their thing and/or when peeps start receiving their LOI or PP been returned after finalization.

For those that applied mid August, September or October, you guys need to be patient. The standard time is 15weeks but we all know application go beyond the standard time. No need to order for gcms note at an early stage unless you have money to spend.

If you applied on the 5th of Oct. You need to be calm. The standard time is 15weeks. People that applied since March are still Waiting. Your app is still at its baby stage . its too too early to applyvfir gcms note .

lolz . thats a lie. lemme tell you wat he means by public portal. it means all his clients have the same password and security question answers but the difference between you and others is your username that has your own email address and thats why you arr the one receiving updates via your mail.

so please tell him he should give the username and password. theres no way u can login and its a different persons account you will enter

If so, then you have to be patient and wait for updates on your mail.

As par what to do, i will advise you demand to have access to your portal as long as you paid the agent in full. you can threaten him with police involvement. you do this in person not over the phone o. he has to give you the username, password and answers to all security questions. you verify all that on the spot.

1) was it online or paper application?

2) Have you gotten passport request?

3) did you submit your passport at vfs via courier.

i asked cos from what am seeing, it is saying your "passport" is ready for collection which means a decision has been made in your application and the decision is in an envelope along with your passport.

i dont get why agents dont give people access to their own application.

if your 4 or 6 months statement ended as 31st nov , they wont go beyond 31st nov... so you dont have anything to worry about

All verification and checks of financial credentials must have be done before requesting for passport. Passport request says "A decision has been made on your application.

Doesn't mean it cant be reversed as long as you haven't gotten your passport back

I stand to be corrected. I doubt if this information is correct. Vfs does not check your documents. Their job is to check the validity and authenticity of your passport. Please gurus, we need your input on this

you may need to consider march/June or September 2021 intakes.

For those that have gotten PPR, congratulations. For those that have submitted their passports for stamping and visa issuance, you all need to be patient. REASON is this, once your passport is received at VFS and transmitted to IRCC, what IRCC does now is to go through all your documents AGAIN to confirm those with fake documents mostly Financial documents and also possibly calling banks to confirm authenticity of transactions at a particular period in your statement of account (NOT OUTSIDE O), most times they call sponsors to find out if they know you. It takes time, in a max 2-3weeks, if you are clean you should be getting mails to pick up your passports/visa. So just be patient. you are already at the final bus stop.

There are no cheaper routes.
Masters is more expensive than PGD. Basically make sure you have your tuition fee for at least a year plus $10,000cad in your account.
