Can I upload my scholarship award letter and affidavit of support from my spouse? Or must my spouse also write Sponsorship letter?
Also any experienced hand willing to review my sop?
Thanks For the bolded... I believe both are the same only that one is more of a legal document while the other is not. Yes you can upload but I don't really trust the letter cos in the VOs eyes, anybody can formulate a sponsorship letter.. that's why bank statements and affidavit of support are the popular ones people use. |

I believe you are in the forum where everybody can tell you he or she didn't write English proficiency.. I didnt write and I got mine.. English proficiency isn't mandatory unless your course was taught in English. Whoever is telling u otherwise probably doesn't know it's not mandatory |

Pee2Jay9: Hello house, Happy new month. I'm new here but have read through previous threads.
I want to apply to either University of Alberta for MEng in Engineering Management or Fanshawe for Diploma in Practicals of Mechanical Engineering. I have BEng in Chemical engineering (3.96/5) and have 6 years work experience still in engineering. Kindly provide answers as much as you can to the following questions.
1. Is anybody here currently studying or had studied there at Uni of A? I want to confirm that the quoted amount on their website is for the full course, not per term or year
2. Which exam is easiest? TOEFL or IELTS Academic
I intend to sponsor myself and the goal is to get PR eventually.. Kindly provide more info to help achieve my aim, be in a reconsideration in my choice of course or school.
Thank you for responding 1) I can't say cos I don't have an answer for you boss but am sure people here might know but still stick to wat you see on the schools website 2) you don't need to write either as long as your bsc courses were taught in English and your transcript shows your courses were in English. |

ohammed1001: GoodMorning and happy new month my people !!
I need an advice and way out....
I finish my secondary school in 2011 and also finish my Ordinary National Diploma In kwara poly in 2014 where I studied Business Administration and I Graduated with lower class, then I applied for Bsc in University Of Manitoba wanted to study business administration, which I gained the admission and put in for a student visa and got denied 3 times around 2015, 16 and 17 , and the refusal reasons then was insufficient funds in my sponsor account (My Dad).. so I decided to take jamb which I passed and graduated from a university in Benin Republic where I studied business administration and I graduated with 2.2 and I’m currently undergoing my NYSC.... with my result which school can I put in for a Master’s or what can I do next
Your contributions are needed urgently
Thanks.... You can't go for a masters with a 2.2 or it will be hard to get a masters admission with a 2.2.. pls consider going for a pgd/pgc related to your bsc. |

Ollie7: Hello everyone, hope everyone is staying safe and active. I have been following this thread for a while and binge reading lately. I wanted help from anyone with regards to the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology.
Does anyone have reviews or is anyone currently studying there?
Is it too late to apply now for the fall semester in September?
In my admission application for the diploma, do i use just my Waec results and scratch card as transcripts or do i need to go back to my secondary school?
Can i apply with only my high school results?
I graduated last year with a second class(upper dv) and I'm currently in my service year to end in Nov. but i want to leave and start the diploma this year.
Please, i would appreciate any and all help. Thank you all. PLEASE FINISH YOUR NYSC!!!!!!!!! Apply for a course related to your bsc, Masters or PGD/PGC...don't go for a diploma cos you will be denied even with your bsc.. if u don't include that you have done your bsc, how do u explain wat u have been doing since after secondary school |

ohizzy: Happy New Month Everyone,
I have a serious/not-to-serious issue depending on your point of view.
So I happen to have gained admission to Douglas College (COMPUTER AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS (POST-BACCALAUREATE DIPLOMA)) for September 2020. But I lost my job last month.
And yes I'm using an Uncle from my mothers' side as my sponsor. He owns a construction company in Nigeria.
Here are my predicaments: 1) Do I still need Letter of Introduction from Employer 2) Recommendation letters from job experience 3) Do I need to write IELTS since I already got the admission and Paid part of Tuition as requested by the school before the Pandemic? 4) Can I apply for a VISA with my passport which is expiring August 2020 5) Would a birth certificate be sufficient enough to show Ties btw my Mum and Uncle?
Thank you all for your time... 1) if you mean employment letter, u should have your own copy but if it's not.. no u don't need it 2) Optional 3)NO! 4)Honestly No.. get a new one cos by the time you get to the stage of stamping your passport, u will need to get one 5)YES and also a letter from your mum explaining her relationship with the uncle could be a useful addition. |

Gu2015: Hey Guys,
I hope you are staying safe out there,I am making this post for my younger sis. That was denied study visa recently. Kindly see the denial letter details below.
Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial asset.
She is a recent graduate that just finished her Nysc last year .Guys please do you think she should reapply. I will also like to mention she has two biological sisters in Canada specifically Calgary and that’s where the school she is attend is located.
Thanks in Advance. My 2kobo here is, do not rush to reapply.. I will advise she gets some experience while she waits. Also they pointed out her assets, how much or Wat was used as her assets, who is her sponsor. The two biological sisters over there, wen did they move, if it's recent who was their sponsor and is the sponsor the same that wants to sponsor her. |

Thanks I will advise against this. Why? If he uses his company account to sponsor you considering the fees run in millions, the VO will be like, won't it affect the company's operations, won't it affect staff salaries.. etc My 2kobo, use his personal letter head and not the company's letter head.. |

Thanks in advance guys, been a while, im glad I'm back on this thread after 6years to continue my ambition to Canada. #TRVfall2021 My regards to @justwise, @Chrigo if im correct, been a while and others My 2kobo here is, finish school, go for Nysc and den apply for a admission over there in canada.
