Hi guys quick question.

When I want to send a CSE form explaining that my application has passed the normal processing time is it okay to include “ I’m sorry I am sending this but I’ve attached an unconditional offer letter from a university in the uk and your decision on my application determines if I get to pay the tuition fees as the fees are already being demanded inorder to secure my place for the September intake”

I don’t want a situation where I’d sound cocky and rude
My 2kobo, focus on canada.. don't tell them about UK..

No bro that is not correct, I thought as much because I know it's only advanced diploma that has a 3years duration to complete, b4 I digressed Advanced diploma is not the same with PGD which is Post Graduate Diploma you can only gain admission into a pgd program only if you have completed your diploma, hnd or first degree while you can gain that of the Subject only with your waec.
Thanks
You are right.

Hello Anon123,

It maybe considered as not important by some but its always advised/necessary to demonstrate/talk about these things in bolded.

BTW a PGD is higher than an Advanced Diploma which runs at atmost 1yr in most institutions while the latter runs at most 2yrs (fast-track) to 3yrs. Also, I must say that your application attracted luck and grace going by the funds showed for both sponsor and self and other considerations, especially in the standpoint of your 1yr tuition and LE when totalled against your brother's closing balance. Its a good thing that your research paid off.

Congratulations on your application and all the best.
Okay, for the bolded...i just decided not to include it cos of the numerous denial reasons especially "home ties".. though am not saying cos it worked for me, it will work for another.
For the funds, I must say it was luck but again I believe if you showed a good and strong purpose of visit, funds won't be much of a problem.. but nevertheless, it was luck and grace. For the 1yr tuition, wat we decide is, wen that time comes, we will cross that bridge.

My thought also. Its 1year programme the last time i check. Also the POF can only sustain him for 1year programme. My own view though considering the living expense and tuition among others. Above all congratulations to him again!!!!its indeed a great grace.
You just need POF to sustain you for at least a year, if u have more fine..

You said the PGD course is 3years program?
But on their website the supply course is actuallu 1 year program, I don't really think if there is any PGD program that is 3years the highest you can go is 1year except u are talking about advanced diploma
PGD is advanced diploma..

You will rejoice till the end.. I want you to please clarify the financial aspect

How much is the tuition fee( did you paid for a whole year) and I pressupose the duration of the program is 1year.
If the above is ryt, that means the other finances you quoted are for, say living expenses and others stuff.

Best!
The tuition was 15kcad.. but for Conestoga, u pay a deposit of 1500cad subsequently you pay the balance. We paid $1500cad and got the receipt the next day. The course is a 3yrs course. The brother had a dollar acct of $7k and Nigerian account bal of 3-4m. The applicant had a person bal of 500k.. So we figured, that was enough to cater for the tuition fee balance and part of the living expenses, the 500k is able to cater for the other part of the living expenses.
I feel for his application, it's the sop that gave us the needed boost.. I didn't talk about his finances or how much was sidelined for wat purpose... I spent more time to avoid purpose of visit.

The new reason is travel history and purpose of visit
For the purpose of visit
What did you do in your bsc
Wat did you come out with
What course are you going for in canada
PGD or masters
Is it related to your bsc

For travel History,
Have you travelled before
Did you mention it on your sop
I advise if you wish to reapply, don't mention about travel history or home ties..

Please must the affidavit of sponsorship be gotten from the court? Or can the sponsor draft it without any approval from the court?
Thanks.
Wat we did was he drafted a letter on behalf of his brother the sponsor and went to court to stamp it.

How detailed and how many pages was his SOP?
4pages... I didn't talk about home ties or finances..
The sop was boiled down to Introduction, why the course(took more time there),why the school and my plans after studies and I didn't show proof of my plans, just ideas of Wat I can offer after the school with the course.

So, I have access to the list of docs he submitted cos I practically applied for him, even wrote the sop.. he studied Elect/Elect, came out with a third class. He works for Mantrac Nigeria Limited as a project manager. We applied for project management, Conestoga gave him for one year. I advised him to apply for a two year course and the only one we found was Supply chain management for 3yrs, we applied and he got it for the same conestoga. While applying for visa. I was scared cos how do u relate studying elect/elect, working as a project manager and den going to canada for a course in supply chain management. That's wen u need to be smart, truthful and logical. I remember writing on the sop, I am going for a supply chain management course cos am tired of taking orders and directions from our indian expatriates, and I know a foreign degree can gimme that edge to be better or close to them..

Tnkx
Didn't do any cos we didn't wanna waste money doing medicals and getting a denial.. he got BVL yesterday by 3pm with no changes except "we are reviewing if you meet the eligibility requirements". 5pm same yesterday, the application status medical review changed to "we are reviewing your medical result". We are being optimistic shaa.. especially with the 5pm change.
