I have my own statement showing tuition for one year,
Scholarship to cover 1 year living expenses
I only needed his account as a co sponsor to show availability of more funds.
Can I use the bank statement like that? Pls do not use it like that! Pls do not use it like that! If you do, u will be BANNED for 5 YEARS! If you can not wait, u can go ahead with your own statement and also scholarship. |

silvamania: Good afternoon everybody ,
Please am planning to include my share certificate as part of my applications but the issue is that my other name didn’t match with my new name
My dad bought the shares pre Waec
I don’t know if that raise a red flag during the application process Don't include it as long as the name in your application and the shares don't tally. |

Frankrobbn1: @Anon123, the OP asked if letter of introduction from employer is important, you said "NO" following your answer to number 1. This information is wrong
@ohizzy, be well informed that letter of introduction is a very important document and should be included in your visa application.
The letter should be in the company's official letter headed paper and should highlight the following -
1. Your job start date, 2. Your job responsibilities and duties with the said company, 3. The number of hours you work per week, 4. Your annual remuneration and benefits, 5. The letter should confirm the fact that you're a bonafide employee of the company and the organisation is aware of your wish to acquire an advanced knowledge in the field of xxxxxx at xxxxxx school in Canada and all necessary assistance should be given to you. 5. The letter should be written by the HR of the organisation and must be duly signed.
Note - With this letter you don't require a employment letter. You can include a study leave letter to further buttress the fact that you would be returning home after studies.
It will end in praise Sorry Chief.. correction duly noted. |

Nkechi48: Good afternoon house,
Kindly help me clarify this; what is the visa advantage of a 2 years PGD over a 1 year PGD? Nobody here can tell you the visa advantage cos nobody knows. The only advantage a 2yr program has over a 1yr is the PGWP which naijaforeigner has explained to you.. as for the guarantee for getting a visa, it all falls on how your SOP sells to the visa officer |

Cflow10: So then it is optional? Cause I’m seeing contradicting statements but I really appreciate the responses. No meaning like Qudkom said. You don't need a SOA if you are applying for a degree progrm and you are 18yrs or less but you need if you are older and obviously it's expected u have some savings for the canada parole |

Nkechi48: What about those who had 1 year master's program, was it not favorable to apply for PR? I am trying to understand the role of 1 year and 2 years PGWP leading to PR. Does 1 year PGWP don't give good ground for PR? It means they have to extend their stay either applying and getting admission before your 1yr visa expires or you come back and start all this application again just to be qualify for a PR. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Anon123: 7:48pm On May 03, 2020 |
Nkechi48: Thank you for your response. Please I still need you to help me clarify this; For the 1 year PGWP and 2 years PGWP, which is preferable to go for then apply for PR. Knowing a 1 year PGD will be cheaper to a 2 year PGD. I am quite new to this, reason for my question. A 1yr PGWP isn't enough for u to even apply for a PR.. having a 1yr PGWP means you have to extend your stay meaning you have to apply to another school even after finishing the one that brought you. That's why it's advisable to go for a 2yrs PGWP which is enough to apply for a PR. |

Please help out. Thanks For the bolded, do u mean if your husband should sponsor you? If he he can, it's very very okay. I know this wouldn't mata now but it would have been cheaper for you to have applied to a college other than a university to do the PGD but it's all good.. It will end in praise |

FieryJoe: Hello friends,
Kindly assist with this. Would it suffice for an applicant (my wife) to submit required docs, employment letter, payslips but WITHOUT her personal SoA?
I am the sponsor and all required docs and funds from a sponsor are available. Family of 3. Plan to travel together.
Your kind response will be appreciated. Mind me asking, is your wife travelling alone or all of you are travelling together ? She needs to submit her SOA, if she doesnt have enough, what you could do is to transfer money for her flight ticket or one year stay.. just an amount to support while you still maintain being th main sponsor |

Has anyone real got approved with 4months or 5montha statement of account OMG... ... please the number of months of a statement of account plays no part in guaranteeing an approval... How u package, present and show how genuine your intentions are on your SOP is all that matters.. you can use either 4 or 5months statement. Preferably 4months cos of size wen uploading |
