In 2021,Nigeria was ranked the country with poorest power supply in the world overtaking Congo. If you visit Dubai or make a google earth view of Dubai and download documentaries, you would curse Nigerian leaders. Lagos is not even in the league of Ras-Alkaimah and development of Lagos has started before Dubai started developing its city after UAE discovered oil in the 60's and 70's. People like Hopman98 that don't know whats happening outside their village are the major causes of backwardness in Nigeria. When they praise hoodlums and thieves in Agbada. The governor of Oyo state,Seyi Makinde was praised as if he's God in my home town,Saki and even given chieftaincy title by the Oba because of the continuation and completion of a double lane road that's barely up to 5km left over by Ajimobi. The second single lane road this man is supposed to have completed is still under construction for about a year and they've even abandoned it with dust destroying peoples' health and businesses, the road has claimed lives due to loss of friction due to granite on the road. People praised him for utilising just a very small portion of our money because they've not seen developments in other places. He probably wants to campaign for second term with the single lane road but wouldn't care if everybody dies as long as he becomes elected for second term
You have said it all.

Buhari Said Fuel Subsidy Is A Scam, Kachukwu Admits FG Pays $1.4 Trillion On Subsidy - Reno Omokri

The APC administration have vehemently denied the existence of fuel subsidy during their time as opposition party and even after they took over power from PDP in 2015. They even said it was a scam.

The APC-led administration stylishly introduced the subsidy again and kept denying its existence and also increased the fuel from N85 to N145. Well, the minister for state on petroleum has finally admitted straight up that the Nigerian government is spending not less than $1.4 trillion annually on fuel subsidy.

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri have however mocked the federal government as well as Nigerians via his Twitter handle and inquired if Nigerians are fine with what is happening.

See tweet below...

Kachikwu has admitted that the Buhari administration is paying ₦1.4 trillion per annum for subsidy (which is even more than the Jonathan administration they complained about). Now I ask you, are you getting fuel to buy at affordable prices like you were during the Jonathan govt?

Buhari said subsidy was a scam and doubled the cost of fuel from the ₦87 that Jonathan left it to ₦145 today. Now they are paying the same ‘scam’ subsidy of ₦1.4 trillion yet you still cant get fuel regularly and when you do you actually pay more than the ₦145 official price.

Armed Bandits killed at least 360 persons in the first quarter of 2022 (January – March) in Kaduna State, a security report by the state government has revealed.

According to the 52-page quarterly report presented to the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, by the Commisioner for internal security, Samjuel Aruwan, on Thursday, the figure also includes those killed in communal clashes.

The latest figure by the state government comes as attacks in Kaduna and other parts of the North-west heightened in the past few months.

In 2021, bandits killed 1,192 people in the state and kidnapped 3,348 others, according to SBM Intelligence.

Deaths from insecurity in the state in 2020 were three times higher than those recorded in the North-east states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa, which are battling terrorism.

We’ve paid some Fulani to stop killings in Southern Kaduna – El-Rufai

Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir el-Rufai has said his government has traced some violent, aggrieved Fulani to their countries and paid them to stop the killings of Southern Kaduna natives and the destruction of their communities saying that the renewed violence is carried out by bandits.

El-Rufai made this known while fielding questions from some select Journalists in his office in Kaduna.

“Fulani herdsmen from across Africa bring their cattle down towards Middle Belt and Southern Nigeria. The moment the rains starts around March, April, they start moving them up to go back to their various communities and countries.

“Some of them were from Niger, Cameroon, Chad, Mali and Senegal. Fulanis are in 14 African countries and they traverse this country with the cattle.

“So many of these people were killed, cattle lost and they organised themselves and came back to revenge.

“We took certain steps. We got a group of people that were going round trying to trace some of these people in Cameroon, Niger republic and so on to tell them that there is a new governor who is Fulani like them and has no problem paying compensations for lives lost and he is begging them to stop killing.
