My greatest surprise was that, I vomited again today and still feeling some MS some times.

But nowadays, most Osu families that are rich, most villagers will start associating with them, to get money or whatnot from them. But the villagers will never marry them. Because once you marry an Osu, you become an Osu as well. In fact, everybody in your family will now be regarded as Osu.

It’s really an archaic practice.

E.g In my village, there is an Osu family that is very wealthy with beautiful maidens. They buy lands up and down. A lot of villagers famz them because of their wealth and money. But nobody in the village married any of them. All the males and females married from other neighboring towns where no one knows their history.

sorry about that mama.... I pray you get relief soonest. Bump size isn't a determinant of how big/small/healthy baby is. Ftms usually have smaller bumps than previous moms. I don't think you should be bothered about bump size if scan says baby is doing great.

Hi all...I'm new here but I have been keeping tabs on this group and decided to re activate my account to become part of this powerful family...I'm currently 16weeks....had serious Ms in my first trimester which stopped around 14 weeks,now it's back again at 15 weeks +...the vomiting aspect most especially....infact yesterday night I threw up so forcefully that I injured my oesophagus and as I result I experienced blood in my vomit and still experiencing pain in my throat up till now...eating dinner yesterday which happened to be a pepperish spaghetti was a night mare but I had no choice as I was so hungry....seeking solutions on Google is also scary as I keep seeing things like surgery.... has any one experienced this in their second trimester? Cos I thought MS stops after 12-14 weeks at most...I'm a First time mom so I'm not experienced.

sorry about your throat mama. I guess it was the pressure and force of vomiting. MS doesn't end at 12-14weeks for everybody oooo. Some people experience MS throughout pregnancy and some don't at all. Each person with her body system. I will advice you see your doc. Happy bumping mama.

how many weeks are you mama? May be you are close to second trimester already or yesterday was just a relief and it may come back.
Sincerely there is no manual for how a pregnancy should run.... each pregnancy with its own process.

When I had my 1st I was told to do the same. But didn't end up doing it and had my baby tru VD.
Your doctor wants to know if your pelvis Is wide enough for your baby's head to pass tru, but from what I read online then, your body adjusts during labour even if the x-ray says otherwise and pregnant women should be allowed a trial of labour regardless of pelvimetry result.
Maybe you should find out from your doctor why he wants you to do it, or seek 2nd opinion to be sure.

pelvimetry is usually recommended for ftms to know if they can have VD. But according to what I read online, pelvimetry isn't an accurate way to measure the pelvic bone, because the the pelvic bone will stretch when contractions starts. Are you a ftm? there are mamas here that have also done it before. I think you should read more about it online and decide which you want. How many weeks are you mama?

hello mamas, been a silent reader n have learnt so much. my anc was today n was told my new edd is 9th dec via the scan, the previous edds are 27th and 29thdec respectively. the doc said ffg my LMP which was 29th march, 9th is appropriate, pls mamas, wt do u think?

scan done in early pregnancy are usually more accurate than those done later in pregnancy. I prefer to use my lmp for calculations for my edd. Although my scan edd and lmp edd is just about a week difference. The basic thing is baby will come when God says.
