Beolly: Uzodinma won through the courts he came forth in the election, Umahi defected with a PDP mandate, and it's only during the gubernatorial elections APGA wins Anambra, in national assembly and presidential election PDP always carry the day. If elections is held today in those states PDP will win even if a rogue is their candidate. No sitting PDP governor has ever lost his seat in the East.
Asides from Lagos no state in the West no party can be very confident if a non credible candidate is presented. PDP and APC have been shown the door on numerous occasions when the people feels dissatisfied. Ohakim was a PDP governor when he lost in 2011 |

richy02: Maybe it's cos you didn't see the rest of the mail, I'm very sure it's an interview .. It is a PLI assessment. When you are connected via teams, the interviewer would send you a link for the test to your email. You would be told to take the test immediately while still connected via teams. The point of using teams is so you can be supervised. |

Why bring politics into something that is apolitical? Was the Director of NCDC not quarantined? Is it only four middle nd lower class People that have returned from Europe in the last week? Fasindo:

Quarantining only the middle and lower class people in the country.
Germany has the disease nd Abba Kyari just returned from there, why the didn't quarantine him.
So many of our ministers, senators and ministers has travelling abroad nd coming why has any of them not quarantined. So all these while they have travelling they have not come in contact with someone that has d disease?
Las las this disease will be brought in by our political elites |

jchioma: It's not limited only to the village people though. I think it's the wicked and primitive mindset of the black man that will refuse to see others excel above them.
I remember one Bro. Louis, who suffered for many years in Lagos, until fate smiled on him and he became relatively successful. He bought 2 cars, rented a big flat and was already building his house. Everything was looking up for him, so to speak, until he decided to visit the village. He visited old and forgotten friends and relatives, threw monies around, and created the impression that he had arrived.
He was prepared a special meal, which he and his friend that went with him ate. Immediately, afterward, they both sensed that something wrong had happened. While the friend went underground to look for a solution, our so called brother, a staunch member of a holy holy church, went back to his church in Lagos for deliverance, but unfortunately, the church after seeing the severity of his case, directed that he be taken to the hospital, and it was in the hospital, after some few days that this brother succumbed to death. And guess who confessed to killing him? His own mother, in conjunction with the comity of village people. His crime? She said, he was too proud, and only came to "oppress" them with his wealth. Apparently, his mum was a witch. Nice story. There is always room for great fictional storytellers in nollywood. |

anochuko01: maybe i shouldnt have posted the email truly. but please, if mansard sponsored a machine learning competition and he performed well and was asked to come for internship, would they leave his machine learning skill and ask him to come be a sales rep? does not having an established machine learning department stop them from implementing machine learning in their company? wema and access bank did this same thing last year and non of them has an established machine learning department.... sir, its so unbelievable that a person would doubt the use of data science and machine learning in a company like mansard. doesnt it sound laughable? Yeah, it does sound laughable.. A lot of Nigerians think b/c the country is stuck in the early 2000's, a lot of Nigerian companies are too. So they find it hard to believe companies are trying to be "innovative".. |

anochuko01: I would have insulted you but no need. With your whole intelligence, you don't know that machine learning and AI involve data science too? Do you know if they probably want to start another line of business and need to make predictions?
Myself and the said guy started learning stuffs together last year, and in less than 12months there's been dramatic progress for both of us. He came 2nd in a machine learning hackathon and they were both offered the slots. I'm into robotics and have started implementing a bit of AI.
I pity the lazy people that "liked" all you wrote coz my sole aim was to encourage people to go learn in demand skills.
Okay now, another Friend learnt Microsoft Dynamics for six months and is now gainfully employed on the island. You can doubt this one too so I can prove you wrong again lol.
If we all keep giving excuses, nobody would be anything meaningful. Not saying you are lying but u still didn't prove him wrong. He never said ur friend wasn't interning at AXA, just what he did at AXA .. So i don't see why you sent the email.. Unnecessary.. |

They didn't condemn the witchhunt of journalist Julian Assange for exposing the evil deeds of the American military. Una wey dey Forbes list, need to find joy in your lives. If you revel in a boring world, some of us would like to laugh a little, and sometimes, at the expense of the gods you worship. If your head is so far up rich people's asses that you can't even laugh a little at their poor choice of haircut, then you have a genuine problem you need to work on.
Being wealthy does not make anyone infallible. Having money does not make you immune to poor choices in life, and people should be allowed to laugh at the humanity of rich people without other broke people accusing them of being broke as if they have access to anyone's bank account Sometimes,i wonder the kind of people on Nairaland.. It is a bad haircut nd d jokes are funny. Life is not that serious!!!! |

tck2000: I'm really curious. Please, can you enlighten me how Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Youtube make their money?...
Mods, it would be great if this thread could make frontpage. Facebook made more than $40 billion in revenue in 2017, approximately 89 percent of which came from digital advertisements. The company announced second-quarter earnings on July 25, 2018, reporting $13.2 billion in revenue. Alongside Alphabet Inc. (GOOG), Facebook has emerged as one-half of a dominant duo in the digital advertising game. But unlike its rival, which allows advertisers to connect with consumers through keyword searches, Facebook generates revenue primarily from targeted advertising and user data. From Investopedia |
