I have modified my post...check it out.

But I will say this....and yes, I am a very conservative, anti-adultery guy myself....in Nigeria...a woman who does not have the fruit of the womb is always made to take all the blame...EVEN if her husband is shooting blanks...and she is fertile.

I do not condone what she did...but at the same time, I think society in Nigeria gives childless women too much unnecessary sufferment.

I am surprised that Obanikoro, of all people, can come to testify against Fayose.
Dose that mean he agreed to Money laundering charges against him?
If yes, did he serve any jail term?
We need to know all these. I cannot understand what moral ground Obanikoro will have to testify against Fayose.
To me, whatever punishment is melted to Fayose, same should be melted to Obanikoro, otherwise, it will be the final confirmation that this corruption fight is one-sided.

Its not easy winning a guerilla war and that's what the insurgents are waging. This is even worse as the militants are radicalized by martyrdom and an immoral afterlife with 80 virgins.

Despite Americas best effort in Iraq, they couldn't end the insurgency.

To end the insurgency using the military may involve a level of heartlessness that would make Stalin shudder.

Carpet bombing of Sambisa without caring if innocent civilisns are killed for example.

For the Sri Lankan government to defeat the Tamil tigers, the government bombed heavily and without restraint areas they believed the enemy including thousands of innocent civilians.

Or is it Aleppo in Syria which was bombed heavily by the Syrians. It succeeded in dislodging the rebels there.

A Red Star official allegedly placed a bet of almost 5m euros (£4.3m) for the Serbian club to lose by five goals, reported French newspaper L'Equipe.

This is realistic enough.
A club that has the forward line of Mbappe , Neymar, Cavani etc playing against Red star can score as many as 8 goals in a match on a good day.

It was just the payday for the 4.3 Million Euro bet for the man, nothing was staged here.
We know a staged game if we see one!
Enjoy your winnings man!

When the person comes from Ilorin, I will ask!

Let me tell you a little story. In the University, a friend of a friend was talking with someone and somebody called him "you this Fulani boy"! I corrected the person saying he is not Fulani, he is Yoruba. The guy scolded me and asked if he has ever told me he is Yoruba! This is a boy with Yoruba name, speak Yoruba, moved with Yoruba guys. He asked me if I know his surname. I said yes. He asked me the meaning in Yoruba. It has no meaning. He informed me, it means "Warrior" in Fulfude. He taught me you don't assume, especially in Ilorin. If in doubt, ask the person. Reason I am asking if Saraki has ever claimed to be Yoruba. Just a question. Don't assume like me please.

Thank you
Your friend is Yoruba just doesn't like to identify as a Yoruba man prolly bkaz he is a Muslim nd is like 1/4 fulani(dy like to identify as dan fodio brothers). But he definitely has Yoruba blood.. I was opportune to do my National Youth Service Corp in Lagos precisely in one of the highbrow areas in Lagos. Then, my conversation or chat with most people goes like this…

“Where are you serving?”

“Lagos” I reply.

“Lucky you, So many opportunities for you.”

“If only other states are developed and offer many career/business opportunities just like Lagos, you would know that there is nothing really ‘lucky’ about working in Lagos.” I tell them.

From my observation and experience, here are the reasons Lagos will remain KING of GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT:

1. Limitless Career and Business opportunities

Have you ever thought of why Mark Zuckerberg visited Lagos to promote technology instead of promoting it in Sokoto; or why Lagos always have the highest number of Youth Corp members yearly? It is because there are less hindrances and more potential opportunities to thrive in the Lagos environment. Lagos is a city where people are given the opportunity and freedom to thrive and develop with little or no political or tribal obstacle.

2. Minimal Tribal/Indigene interference:

I hardly hear of tribal clash or community interference in one’s business area of operation in Lagos.

3. Freedom to thrive as a non-indigene:

Lagos is known as ‘No man’s land’. No discrimination! Everyone who can make valuable contribution to the Lagos economy is highly welcomed and appreciated! Just be a good citizen and pay your tax!

4. Government with futuristic vision

I need not say much. Just Google “Best State Governments in Nigeria” and see if Lagos isn’t among the top! Personally, I am very impressed with the way the Lagos State Response Unit rapidly attend to emergency situations all anywhere in the state.

Any state that wants to dethrone Lagos as KING of GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT should do the following:

1. STOP all forms of tribal discrimination as well as political and community interference in one’s business area of operation.

2. Give non-indigenes same equal opportunity as indigenes.

3. The Government should attract investor with favourable and juicy conditions.

4. Elect people who are competent leaders and are capable of pushing for economic growth and development all over the state.

As a business owner or an entrepreneur, make conscious effort to contribute to the economic development of your state by opening a business site in your state, if possible, make your state the headquarters of your business.

The beautiful thing about dethroning Lagos is that, Lagos will become depopulated because same opportunities in Lagos will become present in other states

Accolades goes to people like Innoson Motor Boss – Innocent Chukwuma and popular Nollywood actor – Jim Iyke for overlooking the opportunities in Lagos to set up their businesses in the South-East which has and will continue to create several career/ business opportunities for residents in the region.

To all those who have decided to focus on economically improving other states and create job opportunities for residents by setting up their businesses there, your works are deeply appreciated.

Threads like this are very dangerous. Because you devalue Nigerian salary more for foreign investors and others who use the internet to guage what is acceptable and what is current practice.I have seen situations were foreign firms who have agreed at partnership with 450k for fresh graduates renegade based on analysis from stupid internet here say such as this. It is unpatriotic to share half truths and you worsen the problem. I will attempt to address this here by saying:

1)Only a inexperienced graduates in a professional job setting/firm earns less than 200k.

2)it is the equivalent of an internship abroad as most Nigerians start work post NYSC with no experience. As in cannot type ordinary minutes of a meeting

3) Salaries start to increase with positions for those who take their careers seriously give or take 2-5 years

4)there are MANY jobs in Nigeria been filled with expatriates because Nigerians for some strange reason I am still trying to figure out do not apply for them. Others just settle without professional improvement or attempts to reach for a higher position or another job so you see the same fellow at the same position, salary and organization for 10 years complaining about poor salary and unkind boss.

5) there are no jobs in Nigeria (myth)

6)There are few high paying jobs in Nigeria (myth)

In summary Nigerian youths are professionally lazy.If you count hawking gala on the streets hard working ,or fake ass entrepreneurial ventures do not complain of a low income. Building a carrear on the other hand takes time ,sacrifice, dedication and God's grace.it may require holding a 40k job for 2 years while building experience to strike out when the time is right. Those who sweat investing in themselves and spend time doing so reap great returns even in Nigeria, small minds sit back and grumble watching those with focus build their way through
You live in a bubble....a bubble.. You may have a good paying job and I don't doubt you worked hard to get it.. But there are no Jobs is Nigeria is not a myth but a fact. The Firms you talk abt how many people do they recruit Yearly? You don't think there is a problem when since 1980 till date if you are looking for a job lagos is your best bet. There are no Jobs in Nigeria is not a myth but a fact. What is saving us now is that they use d class you graduated with to separate d sheeps from goats(nd 2:1 now sef job no certain) Don't use d bubble u live in to tell us there is jobs in Nigeria.
