Well said. The guy Makinde do not know what he is doing.

He that comes to equity must come with clean hands. As an Engineer, I analyse issues. The first question I asked myself was, is it good for a northerner to take over from a northerner? And another question is that is it good for an Ibadan man to take over from Ibadan man that spent eight years?”

Good question.

PoliticsRe: State Reasons We Must Not Vote A Candidate by another1: 8:00am On Nov 02, 2022
Do not vote Tinubu because:
1. He is very very corrupt.
2. Very arrogant.
3. Very sick and old, hence it will affect his performance negatively.
4. He will turn Nigeria to one party system. Free and fair elections bye bye.
5. He has a lot of boys and ladies to settle.
6. Nigerians will suffer under his leadership.

PoliticsHow Ikpeazu, Ortom ‘suffered’ For Their Loyalty – Wike by another1(op): 6:28pm On Oct 19, 2022
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has threatened to expose some persons who had surreptitiously stopped the release of the loan from the Central Bank of Nigeria to Abia and Benue States.

He stated that the motive was to punish Governor Samuel Ortom and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for standing with him to demand the resignation of the National Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, Iyorchia Ayu.

Wike spoke at the 58th birthday celebration of Ikpeazu in his country home of Umuobiakwa community in Obingwa Local Government Area on Tuesday.

This was contained in a statement issued by Media aide to Wike, Kelvin Ebiri, and made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.

Wike said, “I will tell you very soon, how money that was supposed to come to Abia State for my friend to use to develop Abia State was stopped recently by those who think they own this country, by those who think Ikpeazu did not support them.

“Because Ikpeazu supported me, they went and stopped Abia state from getting the money they are supposed to get to develop Ariara market.

“Okezie Ikpeazu is just governor of Abia State. He is not the owner of Abia State He is just a symbol of Abia State. Anybody who fights Abia State, you’re not fighting Okezie, you are fighting the people of Abia.”

Wike, who was the special guest of honour at the event, was accompanied by former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.

Wike explained that the CBN loan was a facility that is made available to every state of the federation, pointing out that Rivers State Government had accessed and secured the loan already.

“I will tell all of you, how Abia and Benue States were denied of their money that every state had gotten from the Central Bank of Nigeria.

“I got it (CBN loan). And anybody who dare to stop my money, they know, I will not take it from them. You can see how people are wicked, they are not in office yet, but they are fighting people, stopping states money.

“Even as we have criticized President Muhammadu Buhari, he has never stopped our money any day, never.”

He added, “Let me tell all of you here, let me use the opportunity and Nigerians will hear. I never told him I will say this.

“Why would some people think some of us are not Nigerians, some people think some of us are slaves. We would never be slaves. I will never be a slave to anybody.”

Wike, who restated his position on the internal crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party, said his allies demand was for inclusivity, wherein every region is given a sense of belonging.

“So, I have told Ikpeazu to continue to be quiet and be a professor of proverbs. When we went to London, he told the person who called us to the meeting in London, you see this thing happening to PDP now is like that ship that wanted to capsize carrying Jonah.

“So, as the ship was going down, they went to Jonah, who said it’s me, it’s not the ship, and they took Jonah out of the ship. Jonah did not die.

“The ship stabilized. So, why not throw this Jonah out so that the ship can stabilize.”

PoliticsOsita Chidoka: Wike Endorsement Of Sanwo-Olu Morally Inappropriate by another1(op): 8:30pm On Oct 18, 2022
A Special Adviser to the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Abubakar Atiku and the party’s Predential Campaign Council, PCC, Osita Chidoka has described Governor Nyesom Wike’s endorsement of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state for a second term.

Chidoka made this assertion in an interview with Channels TV’s Politics Today on Tuesday.

According to Chidoka, the moral burden is more on Wike than the  PDP, and the party needs to review his processes and procedures.

He said, “Governor Wike has the liberty to do most of the things he’s doing because he has no skin in the game.

“but it’s import to say that if he wants to support the presidential candidate of any party, he is free to do so but he has a moral responsibility not to be sitting on a PDP seat as a governor and be talking about other candidate.

“That moral burden is more on Wike than it’s on PDP to justify why he is taking that position for a party that has been good to him up to Local Government Chairman to being the governor of a state,” he said.

Speaking on the chairmanship of tussle of the PDP, Chidoka stated that the disposition of Wike portends a risk for the next chairman of of the party.

According to Chidoka, Wike will still not be satisfied if the party fields a national chairman from the South.

He stated, “The discussion about whether the chairman of the party will leave has been a consistent conversation in PDP with Governor Wike.

“He wanted Makarfi to leave, he wanted Secondus to be chairman, Secondus became, he wanted him to leave at some point. He brought Sheriff as chairman of the PDP, he wanted him to leave and he went all the way to the Supreme Court.

“He brought Iyorchia Ayu as the chairman and now he wants him to leave. Even the next chairman is at risk if he continues to be the governor that at some point he may want the chairman to leave,” he said.

PoliticsW’bank Projects 102% Debt Service, Revenue For Nigeria by another1(op): 4:16am On Oct 05, 2022
The World Bank has said that public debt in Nigeria is concerning due to the rising debt service-to-revenue ratio.
According to the bank, the debt service to revenue ratio could stand at 102.3 per cent by the end of 2022.
The Washington-based bank said this in its latest Africa’s Pulse report, which is a biannual analysis of the near-term macroeconomic outlook for the region, published around the World Bank/IMF Spring and Annual meetings each April and October.
The report read in part, “Albeit at a low level (37.6 per cent), public debt in Nigeria is a concern as the country recorded a high debt service-to-revenue ratio (118.9 per cent) between January and April.

“Debt pressures have increased as debt service to revenue is projected to increase to 102.3 percent by end 2022.

“This suggests that high oil prices do not translate into government receipts due to elevated subsidies for petroleum products. The combination of low production in the oil industry and unsustainable subsidies is one of the main obstacles to attaining debt sustainability.”
The bank further said that a number of countries were either in or at high risk of debt distress due to the removal of the Debt Service Suspension initiative.
It further noted that oil-exporting countries were expected to reduce government debt significantly, except Nigeria.
The bank added that economic growth was subdued in Nigeria, with annual growth slowing from 3.6 per cent in the first quarter of 2022 to 3.4 per cent in the second quarter.
According to the bank, the growth was affected by the underperformance of the oil sector.

He tweeted, “Whether he’s around or not, they’re scared. @officialABAT has become their nightmare. The inquiries are out of FEAR as to what he is up to.

“The biggest political strategy is to keep your opponent guessing! Even by mere absence,

@officialABAT remains the issue in this campaign! ,” Keyamo added.
