The abduction was carried out less than 24 hours after three Boko Haram suicide bombers killed at least 22 people and left many others injured in a fish market in Konduga.

The Imo state Commissioner for Happiness, Mrs Ogechi Ololo, has appealed to men in her State to try to marry two or more women and stop the idea of one man , one woman as a way of reducing prostitution and redundancy among Imo state Women.

Speaking in Owerri state capital this morning, Commissioner Ogechi said Imo state has more women than men forcing a lot of unmarried women to commit adultery with other people’s husbands.

The commissioner said according to statistics, out of approximately 3.9 million Imo state indigenes, 3 million are women and only .9 million are men.

“I am not forcing you, but just encouraging you to marry two or more wives to reduce on women staying without husbands”.

Commissioner Ogechi told a conference of about 14,000 men who were receiving training in various life skills in the commercial capital.

“Our women are crying every day due to lack of men to marry and support them economically hence they engage in prostitution. So please try to work hard and be productive so that you can help our women by marrying two or more wives provided you are able to provide for their basic needs”.

“As government, we shall be giving some small incentives to such men provided you don’t abuse your wives”, said Commissioner Ogechi.

A civil society activist and the president of Rights Monitoring Group (RMG), a coalition of 45 civil society groups, Comrade Olufemi Aduwo has said that the reason the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is giving for registering under age persons in the northern parts of the country is very shameful.

Recall that the Director of Publicity and Voter Education of INEC, Mr Olouwole Osaze-Uzzi had said during a programme on the African Independent Television, titled Kakaaki that the reason the registration officers were registering under age persons was because their lives were been threatened by some members of the communities. According to Aduwo, by such admission, it means that INEC has succumbed to blackmail and intimidation and thereby put the integrity of the 2019 general election into question.

He said what it means is that 2019 general election would no longer be free, fair and credible since the would be umpire has giving in to intimidation. According to him, INEC has nothing else to tell Nigerians about free and fair election since they have shown that might is right. He said that under age registration is the only reason why the north is feeling that it is them that decides any national election in the country.

According to him, when it comes to the south, INEC would stick to international best practices but in the north, they throw standard to the winds and allow the leaders to decide what happens. The Civil Society activist called on the United Nations to take special interest on the role INEC is playing because 2019 would be very crucial to Nigeria in particular and Africa in general.

"I am short of words. How would you begin to respond when you hear that the Director of Publicity and Voter Education of INEC had admitted on a national television that the reason why they are registering under age person in the northern parts of the country is because the lives of their officers are being threatened by some members of the communities.

Do you know the implication of that? It simply means that impunity is now reigning in the country. Might is now right .This has put a serious question mark on the integrity of next year's election. The umpire has admitted that he has compromised, so how can you trust the outcome of an already prejudiced contest. The Ebonyi State government has ordered the arrest of a social media writer, Charles Ogbu, for allegedly spreading false information over the crisis between the farmers and herdsmen in Nigeria.
It gave the order in a statement signed by the Principal Secretary to Governor David Umahi, Clement Nweke.

The statement accused Mr Ogbu, who is a member of the All Progressives Congress, of falsely accusing the governor of endorsing cattle colony in the state during a security meeting.
Mr. Nweke said at no time during the meeting did Mr. Umahi endorse or order the setting up of cattle colony in the state.
“It will be noted that in the first week of February, 2018, State Government called meeting of traditional rulers and herdsmen having received reports of destruction of farmlands by herdsmen in Ebonyi State.
“In the said meeting, government directed that there shall be no more movement of herdsmen with their cattle from one community to another community, village to another, or any cattle seen in any farmland across the state as such infringes on the rights of the farmers and destroys their only means of livelihood of which agriculture forms the main stay in the state.
“It will be noted that Ebonyi State is gifted with abundant blessings from God in the areas of agriculture and solid minerals and anything that interferes with these will spell doom for the state especially as the nation moves towards true federalism and self-state determination,” Mr. Nweke said.
“Let it be known that what the state government did was not different from the monthly meeting of stakeholders especially farmers and herdsmen together with security agencies and in the said last meeting, no mention was made of any ranching, colony, grazing route or grazing reserve as wickedly and maliciously being speculated by Charles Ogbu and his cronies.”
Mr. Nweke said Ebonyi State cannot accommodate such wide wishes of ranching, grazing reserve, colony or whatever name as over 30 percent of its farmland had been taken over by solid minerals exploration which is being controlled by the federal government.

“We have managed our affairs with the herdsmen in the state relatively peacefully and circulation of such wicked and malicious speculation in the name of politics is a sign of danger not only for Ebonyi State but the entire country.”
The state government alleged that Mr. Ogbu was acting the script of distraction on behalf of his party, the All Progressive Congress.
“We therefore request the immediate arrest of Charles Ogbu and his backers to face the law of the state for spreading hate speeches and malicious misinformation through the social media”.
“The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ebonyi State had reacted to this misinformation before now but the same Charles Ogbu has continued to spread this wicked information through social media, hence the need to correct the impression”
“We have absolute confidence that the Vice President-NEC Committee and other committees of good spirited Nigerians will find a lasting and permanent solutions to this unfortunate clashes and bring the satanic agents of this country in the likes of Charles Ogbu to shame.”

This revolution must involve everyone, from the President to the lowest level of leadership. *All shall be involved in the barefooted Oath with all the Twelve (12) Pillars of the Oath, which are all connected to the three ordinances that lead to the judgement of death, if violated*. Speaking with journalists at the party Headquarters on Friday 9th February, 2018, Dr Ijagbemi said that, after JMPP must have taken over the government in 2019, all Nigeria’s natural resources and national treasures shall become untouchable to all the people in authority because our nation has established a new covenant with the Almighty through the twelve (12) pillars of Oath of righteousness to kill all violators which is what will establish fear of the Almighty upon all the leaders in our nation, and there would be an all-round rest in Nigeria.

He said that JMPP is a divinely established revolutionary party consisting of Christians and Muslims that fear the Almighty, with answers delivered by the Almighty to all national problems and questions. He said that the Almighty in His mercy showed a vision to a young man, who fears Him from the South East of Nigeria, in the house of his Muslim friend, in Kebbi State the Northern part of the country. *The vision came written in gold: “JMPP”, which was further explained as “JUSTICE MUST PREVAIL PARTY” with instruction to include Christians and Muslims.* The vision directed that JMPP must raise a godly Government which must ensure justice, fear of God, truth, righteousness, peaceful co-existence, and unity that would restore Nigeria back to the original purpose of God, to be the leader-country in Africa. *He said that Nigeria, under JMPP will restore the dignity of all blacks from the pains and shame of corruption, injustice and slavery.*

Other instructions include that the party should raise visionary and righteous leaders who must eschew injustice, inequity and irresponsiveness to ensure fear of Almighty God's discipline, compliance to constitutionalism and enforcement of the rule of law for the promotion of peace, unity and the wellbeing of Nigeria and Nigerians. The party is also to note that corruption separates nations from our Creator. 

He said that JMPP shall use the effective family concept as natural human laboratory to teach Nigerians the national values through formal and informal education. The party's core value is to enthrone democratic and egalitarian society where justice, equity, religious tolerance, peace and unity reign supreme through the instrumentality of effective mentoring, selfless service, altruism, responsiveness, “ethical leadership”, accountability, transparency, dignity of labour, patriotism, industry, nationalism, integrity, hospitality, humility, righteousness, rigor of institutional/systemic compliance to the Oath of Office, the Constitution(s) and the rules of law.

Dr. Ijagbemi further remarked that everything that is happening now in Nigeria, is for the Almighty’s purpose. The inter-ethnic strives and killings in Nigeria, are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in the Almighty’s Agenda of 2019 through Justice Must Prevail Party (JMPP), for all Nigerians are waiting for the manifestation of righteous leaders on the throne. Leaders, not politicians, because all politicians were made to be subject to vanity. He said that through the JMPP’s leadership revolution of the twelve (12) pillars of Oath, Nigerians shall be delivered from all the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of a better Nigeria.

Dr. Ijagbemi noted that the conventional Oath Of Office (using the Bible and Quran) taken by civil and public servants / political office holders in Nigeria has not been effective because it always ends with *the prayer of grace ‘So help me God’ – which always has been a means of deceit by all previous administrations since independence as it has no judgement and justice attached to the acclaimed Oath.*

Dr. Olusegun Ijagbemi said that JMPP government will ensure that all leaders both in public/civil service sectors and political office holders in the nation must be bound by the *Self Bare-Footed Oath Revolution (SBOR). Therefore this real and original Oath shall be taken bare footed on the earth under the heavenly witness - The Sun, and consecrated by a Christian Priest and a Muslim Imam*. Senator Aniete Okon, a pioneer Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has lambasted the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo for allegedly saying Nigerians should pray for Fulani herdsmen rather than defend themselves.

In a statement he signed, Oko insisted that Osinbajo’s interpretation of the crisis between Fulani herdsmen and farmers was wrong.

He wondered who Osinbajo would preach to if Nigerians are all killed for opting not to defend themselves against the marauding Fulani herdsmen.

The statement reads, “Vice President Osinbajo was quoted to have said Nigerians should not defend themselves against Fulani terrorists when attacked but should pray for them.

“Is that what the VP is supposed to say concerning innocent Nigerians? The Vice President who lives in a bubble devoid of realities of our present day Nigeria thinks that spirituality and religious orientation provide sufficient grounds to overlook safety and protection and what constitutes threats to safety and protection of lives and property.

“This attempt to make martyrs of innocent and unwilling citizens suffering untold hardship inflicted by the government poses rather worrying questions on the humanity index of this administration. Are Nigerians to seal their lips, sit foolishly while we wait in prayer for violent death?

“Who will the Vice President lead when the citizens are wiped out? Who will Pastor Osinbajo preach to if Christians are wiped out? This situation calls for caution.”

Osinbande is a total disappointment to not only the Christian community and the legal profession but to the office he is presently occupying.
