Dogo sought a truce in which the cattle could be returned, but Buhari refused for some time. Finally, he agreed to meet with Dogo in the mountainous Nabango forest located in the Goron Dutse district of Birnin Gwari Local Government Area, Kaduna state, to discuss the truce.

On the appointed time on Wednesday, as Buhari approached the venue, Dogo opened fire and killed him and his six top commanders.

However, he was the one who told the security agencies where to go and pick up the corpses of Buharin Daji and the six other brigands.

The corpses were taken to the Government House where they were displayed to the public by the Deputy Governor, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala.

MAKURDI—Independent Human Rights and Crime Monitoring Group, IHRCMG, has accused the Nigerian military of encouraging the influx of cattle into Benue State and takeover of Benue communities by herdsmen in violation of the Open Grazing Prohibition Law of the state.

Speaking on the execution of the military’s Exercise Ayem A’ Kpatuma (Cat Race) in in Makurdi, yesterday, the Team Leader, Solomon Adodo, regretted that the state had witnessed more killings, destruction of farmlands and houses despite the coming of the military.

The group also accused the Federal Government of complicity in the crisis bedevilling the state, alleging that the government was not doing enough.

He said: “Exercise Ayem A’ Kpatum (Cat Race) is causing more harm than good to Benue communities. Rather than bring peace, the military have been encouraging more herdsmen to move into Benue communities.”

Nigerian Senator representing Kogi West in the Red Chamber, Dino Melaye, disclosed how amazed he was to witness Ghana’s Independence Day celebration which has so many cultural and national demonstration of love,unity and purpose.

The ellusive Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau was a hairs breath away from capture. Soldiers were very close to finally capturing him dead or alive, but then he got a helping hand and escaped. By who?

By the Nigerian Army !

In late February 2018, the Nigerian army was carrying out an operation in the Sambisa forest. Surveillance planes spotted Abubakar Shekau and a handful of fighters in a remote camp and vectored ground forces to the location. In less than an hour tanks and armoured vehicles with hundreds of troops from Nigeria and Cameroon were on the move. This was not going to be a cheesy ” catch him alive” operation. The Nigerian army was ready to pummel him and the entire camp to smithering if that was what it will come down to, either way, there was no escape this time for Abubakar Shekau.

They were about 5 kilometres from his base, when they ordered to STOP for FOUR DAYS !!

………….. and then this happened !

They were attacked by several cars filled with explosives. Seven soldiers from Nigeria and Cameroon were killed instantly, with dozens more injured. According to a BBC report soldiers, livid with rage could be heard complaining about the order to STOP. Several vehicles were badly damaged and the operation was forced to retreat.

A week later they went to Shekau’s camp, but he was gone.

A member of the vigilante force, whose knowledge of the terrain was valuable to the troops spoke to BBC about the operation. He was with the army when they entered Shekau’s camp

In his word :

Shekau ran away. He left his car, his jacket, his chewing stick and a pistol. I saw them with my own eyes.[/i]

A few days later the Barbarian, Abubakar Shekau released a video. He ridiculed claims by the Nigerian government that the group has been defeated.

Adam, a former Boko Haram fighter who defected from Boko Haram in January, and is now in army custody. He rose to the rank of Commander after seven years with the group, and he was there as the army advanced towards their main camp.

In his words :

There was a serious exchange of gunfire between Boko Haram and the Nigerian army. Many of the insurgents are killed.

How well armed are Boko Haram?[i]

They are still armed, although most of what they say is propaganda. They put people who are physically fit in their videos, but most of them are suffering.

Though many have defected, he thinks there are between two to three thousand Boko Haram fighters left.

Now anybody who have been following the Nigerian army operations in the Sambisa knows that this is not the first time the Nigerian army blotches fails to make good use of critical intelligence gathered by the air force on the ground. Against this backdrop i think its time the Nigerian Air Force is given the primary role and authority to take out high value targets like Abubakar Shekau. The CH-3 should be armed at all times and rather than relay the information to the army, should have taken out that camp.

Alternatively saturating the camp with artillery fire while soldiers lie in wait for a mop up operation would have been a better tactical approach, giving Boko Haram little warning and no time to escape. It is beyond me why army troops kilometres away were given the task to clear the camp when stand-off weapons could have made minced meat of that camp.

And so again the man with NINE lives escapes again, no thanks to the army’s poor tactical decision and whoever gave he order to Stop the advance and wait for Boko Haram to rig trucks with high explosives to kill seven soldiers before escaping.

There is no iota of doubt in my mind that the end of Boko Haram may not be in the interest of some forces, hence the need to prolong the war for as long as possible. World War II lasted just seven years. The war between the Soviet Union and A-STAN lasted just eight years. The civil war lasted three years. Nigeria meanwhile is entering its 10th year of its war with Boko Haram. This is far from normal and is already the longest war in Nigeria’s history.

You will not read the following account about President Muhammadu Buhari’s so-called “war against terror” in Nigeria’s mainstream media because they have mostly been compromised and intimidated by the Federal Government. You can however read it in this two-part essay if you are interested in knowing the truth.

I urge as many of those that care and that can get through it to spread the word and let the international community know the truth about what the Nigerian people are passing through.

Despite the hatred and aggression it always attracts towards its purveyor, truth remains truth and, for the sake of posterity, it is worth defending and, if necessary, dying for. And the truth about our war against terror is as follows.

Today Nigeria is in the terrifying grip of a bloodthirsty two-headed dragon which is empowered, fuelled and energised by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The first head of that dragon is that of Boko Haram and the second is that of the Fulani herdsmen and terrorists.

This two-headed dragon feeds on the flesh and blood of the Nigerian people and until it consummes or captures every living soul in our nation it shall not relent, refrain or desist.

I say this because, like the leader of the horrendous Nightwalkers in HBO’s famous classic series, “Game of Thrones”, the rider of Nigeria’s Nightwalker dragon is our very own President Muhammadu Buhari and he brings nothing but death and destruction.

Those that expect him to master it, tame it or cut its two heads off are expecting him to drop his most awsome weapon and to fall out of the sky in mid-flight.

He will never do it and it will never happen because that is his strength, pride and source of power. He needs the two-headed dragon from hell to take him to his next destination and to his next level.

Simply put, without the blood-sucking, flesh-eating, bone-crushing and life-taking dragon-beast that he controls and rides, Muhammadu Buhari is nothing.

Blood is the currency in the realm of the spirit and the spilling of it gives him power. The more blood is spilt the more power he gets.

This explains why such little emotion is displayed by our President and next to no concern is shown by him when the people of Nigeria are abducted, enslaved, hacked to pieces and slaughtered by either of the two heads of his beast.

When one scrutinises Buhari’s so-called war against terror over the last three years the first question we must answer is whether we can really expect one terrorist to fight another terrorist successfully?

Simply put, the question is whether darkness can defeat darkness or whether evil can overwhelm evil?

Consider the following.

In 2000 Buhari asked the late Governor Lam Adesina of Oyo state “why are your Yoruba people killing my Fulani people” when Fulani herdsmen and terrorists suffered a series of heavy reprisal attacks and killings after they had attacked and killed many Yoruba farmers in Oyo state.

In 2001 he told the Nigerian people that “Muslims should only vote for Muslims”.

In 2001 he told the Nigerian people that it was his intention to “spread sharia law ALL over the country”.

In 2002 he told the Nigerian people that “Christians have no business with the matter and should not complain when limbs are being cut off in the name of sharia because those limbs are Muslim limbs and not theirs”.

In 2003 he proclaimed that the Muslims of Nigeria should “all work together and win power at the centre because when the Muslims of the north join hands with our  Muslim brothers in the south-west we are more in number than the Christians”.

In 2013 he told the Nigerian people that “an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the North”.

In 2014 his trusted political associate and a man by the name of Alhaji Lai Mohammmed from Kwara state who played a key role in his 2015 presidential campaign and who was later appointed as his Minister of Information announced to the world that it was “wrong, unjust and unconstitutional to proscribe Boko Haram and to describe them as a terrorist organisation”.

In 2016 his official spokesman at the Presidency, Mr. Femi Adesina, told the Nigerian people that Buhari would not comment on the cold-blooded butchering and murder of no less than 808 Christians in Southern Kaduna on Christmas day and Christmas eve by Fulani terrorists because the Presidency “regarded the matter as a state-affair”.

In January 2018 Buhari told Governor Samuel Ortom and the elders and traditional rulers of Benue state that “the Fulani herdsmen and cattle-rearers are your brothers and you must find a way to accomodate them” after those same terrorist herdsmen had butchered over 1000 innocent people in Agatu occupied their land two years ago and hundreds more all over the state since that time.

And it is the same story all over the Middle Belt and the south where Fulani terrorists and herdsmen slaughter innocent Nigerians in the most gruesome and horrific manner and circumstances and destroy and steal their homes, farms and land without any fear of being brought to justice or being resisted or confronted by any of Buhari’s northern-Muslim-led security agencies and Armed Forces.

So now I ask, which “war against terror” or “war against Boko Haram” or “war against the Fulani terrorists and herdsmen” are we referring to or is Buhari fighting? Can he really be expected to fight himself?

To people like Buhari unarmed men and women who do not threaten others with violence and who have never killed anyone, like members of Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB, are the terrorists whilst murderous and zombie-like beasts that take pleasure in slitting open the throats of babies and infants and in slaughtering thousands of innocent and defenceless men, women and children are not.

I am sorry to tell the world and the Nigerian people that the Federal Government has been lying to them. They have not been waging any serious war against terror, no Fulani terrorists or herdsmen have been arrested or brought to justice and Boko Haram is as deadly and strong today as it has been in many years.

If anyone doubts that they should find out how many local government areas Boko Haram control and how often they attack and carry out successful operations in major cities in Borno and Yobe states.

They are killing as many people today as they did five years ago but the difference is that the govermment has suppressed the information and ordered a media blackout of these terrible events.

On the abduction of the girls from their school in Dapchi, Yobe state the situation is even more pathetic because it could have been avoided.

When you pay millions of dollars in ransom to Boko Haram over 3 years, when you lie to the world that you have defeated them, when you release thousands of their foot soldiers and commanders from prison and claim that they have “repented” and when you compel the media to suppress the truth about the gains they have made in parts of the country why should you or anyone else be surprised about what happened in Dapchi?

It was bound to happen because you have empowered and emboldened them!

Worse still is the fact that the Govermor of Yobe has said that the soldiers that were guarding Dapchi were removed 24 hours before the attack and abduction took place.

The question is who gave the order to remove them and why?

Again the fact that military intelligence (DMI) had formally informed the Nigerian Army and the Federal Government that an attack on Dapchi was imminent and that the warning was brushed under the carpet and ignored raises even more questions.

Finally some time back the Daily Trust Newspaper and BBC Hausa Service reported that on two separate occasions the military came very close to capturing Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Boko Haram, but that they were ordered by someone in Abuja to step down the operation, back off and let him go at the last minute. This again begs the question: who gave the order and why?

We need to know what is really going on because it looks as if some of these people were complicit in these terrible and shocking events!

All this is bad enough yet nothing exposes the level of deceit and insincerity of the Buhari administration more than their reaction to the abduction. First they said “no girls were kidnapped!” Then they said “sorry we lied!”

Then they said “ALL the girls have been rescued!” Then they said “sorry we lied!”

Then they said “SOME of the girls have been rescued!” Then they said “sorry we lied!”

Then they finally admitted that 110 girls had been taken and that none of them had been rescued, seen or heard from since. WHAT A GOVERNMENT!

Worse of all some of the parents of the abducted girls were detained, threatened and harassed by security agents and the military simply because they told the world the truth about what has happened to their girls and because they were exposing the lies that the government kept churning out.

If anyone doubts this they should please ask Stephanie Hegarty of the BBC who has done an excellent job in this respect and who has kept the international community aware of all the events with her twitter handle and her excellent reportage with the BBC.

That is how bad the situation is and our government has clearly lost control. They are more interested in covering up their own deceit, incompetence and complicity than fighting or stopping the activities of Boko Haram. (TO BE CONCLUDED).

Imo First Lady, Nneoma Nkechinyere Okorocha has began to plan for her retirement in 2019.
The First Lady on Monday opened a multi-billion naira shop along Owerri Aba Road for the sale of variety goods in line with the Rescue Mission agenda of “Job, Job, Factory, Factory, Industry, Industry”. The First Lady was poetic and dramatic during her opening speech at the ceremony. She revealed that her first business was selling of rice and beans at a local market in Jos but later she started a dry cleaning business and thereafter lemon home. Nneoma hinted that after 24 years she now want to go back to her usual business as part of her exit programme and plan. According to her in 2019, she will no more be the first lady of Imo State. So for now, she has to start to prepare for her retirement which must surely come one day. Imo State Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha in his own speech described the wife as a very wealthy woman who made a lot of money from her business but refused to disclose it to members of the family.
She described the First Lady’s shop as one of the best in West Africa, adding that the place will provide employment opportunity to many youths in the State.
Speaking further, the Governor said 60 percent of his family business will be relocated to Imo in order to attract investors.
The Governor insisted that Imolites must develop Imo before outsiders will join. He advised prominent politicians in Imo to borrow a leaf from her wife and great opportunities for the young ones.
Many of those seeking for favour and political endorsement used the opportunity to show their faces. Our reporter observed that Commissioners and APC Lawmakers who want to remain in power in 2019 bought many items worth of millions of naira from Imo First Lady in order to clear their way.
Hon Uju Onwudinwe, member representing Njaba State Constituency revealed that the shop has quality goods and should be seen as the best in Africa. “This is Dubai in Imo State” Onwudiwe concluded.
Speaking further she prayed that God Almighty should protect the First Lady and her family.
She praised Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Governor of Imo State for the good opportunity he gave Imo women to excel in life, adding that the Governor has truly fixed Imo. Ambassador Noye Rajis who spoke to our reporter also hinted that items in the shop are being sold at affordable prices. She urged Imo people to remain focus and patronize the shop.

It was a glamorous and well attended event and was a fitting occasion to celebrate and pay homage to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, General of the People's Army who was the quintessential Man in the Arena, a man who rode the thunder and quelled the storm; the man who saw tomorrow, and fought valiantly for the survival of his people, and in fierce defense of their rights in their quest to be treated as equal partners in the Nigerian project.

Just like a fairy tale, a 25-year-old man, Mr. Chiadi Ezeibekwe, said he impregnated his 17-year-old younger sister. As if that was not enough, he wedded her at a church at their Agba village in Ekwulobia, Anambra State. Agba youths, who saw the marriage as “an abomination,” burnt down the church where the wedding was consummated.

It was learnt that the wedding was conducted by Chiadi’s elder brother, Mr. Chijioke Ezeibekwe, a Shepherd of Dwelling Fullness of God Church, Agba. Chiadi quoted Deuteronomy 36: 6, which, according to him, permits marriage between brothers and sisters of the same parents.

However, a member of the church, who spoke on condition of anonymity, countered that. He referred the brothers to Leviticus 18:9, which clearly speaks against marriage between brother and sister.

A source noted that immediately their eldest brother, Mr. Emeka Ezeibekwe, heard of the “incestuous marriage,” he alerted the clan head, who summoned the family to an emergency meeting. When their father, popularly, known as “Luisco,” was contacted for comments, he said that his concern was a way out of the situation, since according to him, “what has happened, has happened’’.

Addressing the crowd which gathered on their premises, their mother claimed that his son’s action was biblical, saying Chiadi paid her the bride price. Further enquiries showed that Chiadi and some members of the family were baptised into the Adventist Church after leaving their former church in August 2016.

“Since they were baptised into the church, they have been engaged in weird and rebellious behaviour as well as false teachings,’’ said Mr. Onyeka, a member of the Adventist Church in Ekwulobia.

“Because of their rebellious attitude and false teachings, the Seventh Day Adventist Church expelled them since May 2017.

Not long after that, Mr. Chijioke Ezeibekwe started his own church,” Onyeka added. It was also learnt that their grandmother passed away a few days after she found out about the marriage. The Igwe-in-Cabinet had since summoned the family for interrogation.
