Gidilagoon: Pls house, I don’t know if am being stupid or not man enough but I just have to share this with you guys just for an advice.. it might be long as I really want to express myself pls.
I have been dating this girl going to 2years now and we are planning to settle down probably next year. I have known this girl for a very long time because we have dated before when I just got admitted to university but we ended after short period.
So After few years that we’av graduated, we met again and fortunately we were both still single ,so we decided to start dating again and this time we are more serious and planning for future, I realized she must have dated many guys when I left her because it was a long time ago, so I decided to change her phone number just to avoid any connection with any guy from her past since am planning my future with her now, but after awhile I noticed some of these guys still chat her on FB and Instagram and she replies, and one even sent her money and I was totally mad at her but later we resolved it.
So back to the main issue that just came up recently . I don’t know what took me to her Facebook profile and I decided to go through her messages, I noticed one of the guy she claimed to be her uncle was a man friend she has known from the past, this guy Is married with 2kids living in US. I noticed my girl sent her nude to him and they were having sex chat, so I acted like I didn’t see anything and I invited her to my house the next day and tell her what I saw, then she started crying, immediately I gave her 3 hot slap and asked her to leave my apartment but she wouldn’t leave but kept crying on the floor and said she’s ready to swear with death if such ever happened again, that she was just stupid.
Well I dragged her out of my house, and since then all her family from different places have been calling me pleading on her behalf except her Mom and Dad which she can’t tell about it. I noticed she has changed her phone number and delete her Facebook account after what happened, but I told her it’s already late when her aunty called me...
Honestly I still love her, because she’s the only girl I ever fell for but won’t I look stupid if I accept all the pleading and continue with her? And can such girl make a good wife? She’s too vulnerable, too emotional and she has dated a lot of guys in the past, so it scares the hell out of me to settle down with her, so that man no go die untimely death..
Her aunty said she wants to come and meet me this weekend but I told her I will get back to her. Do you think I should let her come?
Pls mature men in the house don’t abuse me, just advice your guy abeg. Run for your life bro u deserve better there are quite a lot of responsible ladies out there looking for suitors like u. Such a lady will definitely be sleeping with men outside without ur knowledge, some of these ladies are highly possessed by demonic spirits that will never allow them to be ever satisfied with any physical man unless they are delivered by a genuine man of God. |

Ohammadike: ABUJA–A constitutional lawyer, Mr. Francis Obalim, has approached the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, asking it to sack the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, from office for not possessing a valid discharge certificate issued by the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.
The plaintiff, in the suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/712/2018, applied for an order quashing and setting aside Mrs. Adeosun’s appointment as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by President Muhammadu Buhari, same being an act done in circumvention of a condition precedent and in contravention of mandatory Sections 12, 13 and 14 of the NYSC Act which is an integral part of the 1999 Constitution, as amended.
He maintained that Adeosun who was cited as the 1st defendant in the matter, was not qualified to be employed by the Federal Government of Nigeria either as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or in any other capacity whatsoever, without first presenting a valid discharge certificate issued by the NYSC.
The plaintiff, through his counsel, Mr. Johnmary Jideobi, sought an order of perpetual injunction restraining FG from further according a Ministerial status to the 1st defendant, until she presents a valid certificate of discharge regularly issued by the NYSC.
He wants the court to compel the 1st defendant to refund forthwith to FG, through the Treasury Single Account domiciled at the Central Bank of Nigeria, all the salaries, emoluments, allowances and such other benefits she has enjoyed since her resumption as a Minister in 2015.
Other defendants in the suit are the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami, SAN, the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and Clerk of the Senate.
Specifically, the plaintiff prayed the court to determine, “Whether upon an intimate reading and complete understanding Sections 12, 13 and 14 of the National Youth Service Corp Act which is an integral part of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended, the 1st Defendant is qualified to be employed by the Federal Government of Nigeria either as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or in any other capacity whatsoever without first presenting a valid discharge certificate issued by the National Youth Service Corp?
As well as, “Whether the appointment of the 1st Defendant by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria [as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria] and the subsequent confirmation of same by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria are not a nullity and therefore liable to be quashed and set aside being acts done in circumvention of a condition precedent and in violation of Sections 12, 13 and 14 of the National Youth Service Corp Act which is an integral part of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended?
Upon determination of the questions, he sought for, “A declaration of this Honourable Court upon an intimate reading and complete understanding of Sections 12, 13 and 14 of the National Youth Service Corp Act which is an integral part of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended, the 1st Defendant is NOT qualified to be employed by the Federal Government of Nigeria either as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or in any other capacity whatsoever without first presenting a valid discharge certificate issued by the National Youth Service Corp.
“A declaration of this Honourable Court that the appointment of the 1st Defendant by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria [as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria] and the subsequent confirmation of same by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria are a nullity and therefore liable to be quashed and set aside being acts done in circumvention of a condition precedent and in contravention of mandatory Sections 12, 13 and 14 of the National Youth Service Corp Act which is an integral part of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended?
“An order of this Honourable Court quashing and setting aside the appointment of the 1st Defendant as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria the same being an act done in circumvention of a condition precedent and in contravention of mandatory Sections 12, 13 and 14 of the National Youth Service Corp Act which is an integral part of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended
“An order of this Honourable Court quashing and setting aside the confirmation of the 1st Defendant as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria carried out by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria the same being an act done in circumvention of a condition precedent and in contravention of mandatory Sections 12, 13 and 14 of the National Youth Service Corp Act which is an integral part of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended.
“An order of perpetual injunction of this Honourable Court restraining the Federal Government of Nigeria from further considering, nominating, appointing, screening and or confirming the 1st Defendant as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or any other government position howsoever named or described until she presents a valid certificate of discharge regularly issued by the National Youth Service Corp in view of Sections 12, 13 and 14 of the National Youth Service Corp Act which is an integral part of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended”.
Likewise, “An order of this Honourable Court compelling the 1st Defendant to refund FORTHWITH to the Federal Government of Nigeria [through the Treasury Single Account domiciled at the Central Bank of Nigeria] all the salaries, emoluments, allowances and such other benefits she has enjoyed since her resumption as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2015 up to the point of the filing of the instant suit”.
Meantime, no date has been fixed for hearing of the suit.

Since Buharis only reason for coming back as president is to force and carry out the Fulani usman danfu's agenda on Nigeria... Then every Fulani must not be allowed anywhere in the south.
As for Rocha's, the betrayer of Ndigbo Should give the Fulani's is land. Simple. If rochas does that which I doubt it will become very easy for the bloodthirsty fulani mosters to easily access and launch an attack anywhere in Igboland. Politics › Re: Governor Umahi In The Shadow Of Vultures’ Talons. By Emmanuel Onwe by ANOWEDGREAT: 2:07pm On Jul 07, 2018 |
Trump101: GOVERNOR UMAHI IN THE SHADOW OF VULTURES’ TALONS Emmanuel Onwe Since we are on the subject of Chinua Achebe’s eternal truths, let’s briefly reflect on the cryptic conclusion of his seminal work, Things Fall Apart, which reads: The Pacification of the Primitive Tribes of the Lower Niger. The lucidity of Achebe’s creative imagination is given its most eloquent expression in the mockery he projected to the title of an imaginary book that the whiteman was going to write about Africans. Amanze Obi’s ridiculous charges against Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State in his back page column in The Sun on 5th July, 2018 provoked two diametrically opposed impulses, namely, laughter and derision on the one hand, and sadness and pity on the other. If one’s mood had ended at laughter and derision, the need for this rejoinder would clearly not have arisen. But the sadness and pity compel me to assess elements of the man’s thoughts and allegations that are so lacking in distillation and so recklessly malicious as to call for pacification, at least for his own sake. No mockery intended. In metaphorically fitting Governor Umahi into the unedifying jacket of Vidkun Quisling in an opening paragraph that fits all parameters of plagiarism, Mr Obi alleges that Umahi has “…exhibited tendencies that easily give him away as someone who prefers to fraternize with those who do not mean well for his people…” This assertion is altogether baseless and there is no shred of evidence to sustain it. The underlying truth in the assertion is that a genuine, transformative leader who is propelled by a sense of history must always have the best interests of his people at heart and then project their collective aspirations, their wellbeing, security and sense of community above and beyond everything else, including self-interest and personal ambition. Ebonyi people, Governor Umahi’s people, are living witnesses to the fact that Umahi has not only lived by these principles but have done so in a manner that some have described as obsessive. Over here in Ebonyi we like leaders that are obsessive about our wellbeing. In referring to the savage slaughter of innocent men and women in Nimbo in Uzo Uwani Local Government Area, Enugu State in April, 2016, by a marauding horde of Fulani herdsmen, Mr Obi alleges that “Umahi, acting as opposite man (whatever that means)… said that he would not ban herders from Ebonyi State because his people had no problem with the cattle rearers.” This allegation is patently false. On the contrary, Governor Umahi was the first off the blocks in issuing condemnatory statements over that tragedy. He did not speak through a spokesman or any third party. He addressed the press himself in order to underscore the gravity of the matter and as a clear demonstration of courageous leadership at such moments when the dark clouds of conflict that had the potential to presage a war hovered over us. I refer you to http://dailypost.ng/2016/05/05/governor-umahi-orders-fulani-herdsmen-out-of-ebonyi-community/.GOVERNOR UMAHI ORDERS FULANI HERDSMEN OUT OF EBONYI STATE. That was the headline carried in many national dailies. That was followed by GOVERNOR UMAHI GIVES FULANI HERDSMEN 7-DAY ULTIMATUM - https://www.naija.ng/820563-igbo-governor-not-want-herdsmen-vacate-state-makes-u-turn.html#820563. Mr Obi is not yet done. He alleges that soldiers invaded Umahi in September and massacred Igbo people and that “by his studied silence, Umahi has labeled the dead as outlaws whose lives do not matter. A huge stigma is hanging around the governor’s neck…” How dare you, sir? How dare you condemn in such a sweeping and damning fashion a man you do not know, have not interviewed, or interrogated and on a matter about which you know absolutely nothing beyond infantile speculations? At the risk of divulging sensitive and classified security information, it was the effort of Governor Umahi, through rallying his colleagues under the South East Governors Forum of which he is the Chairman, and the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and other Igbo leaders, that tragedy of indescribable proportions over Igboland was averted. In his reference to the Federal Government’s plan to establish cattle colonies in some states of the federation, Mr Obi writes: “Ebonyi State is the only state in Eastern Nigeria captured in the plan.” This is true and it is a matter of national record and public knowledge and the selection was not done in consultation, directly or indirectly, with Governor Umahi. But Mr Obi’s impulse for lies and fabrications is overpowering because he followed up with this assertion: “While those who mean well for their people are speaking up, Umahi has maintained a suspicious silence.” This falsehood is categorically refuted with overwhelming evidence: UMAHI: NO CATTLE COLONY IN EBONYI (NEW TELEGRAPH, FEBRUARY 11, 2018) - https://newtelegraphonline.com/2018/02/umahi-no-cattle-colony-ebonyi/; NO CATTLE COLONY IN EBONYI, UMAHI INSISTS (THISDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2018) - https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2018/02/11/no-cattle-colony-in-ebonyi-governor-umahi-insists/;EBONYI REJECTS CATTLE COLONIES PROPOSAL BY THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT (PREMIUM TIMES FEBRUARY 10, 2018) - https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-east/258224-ebonyi-rejects-cattle-colonies-proposal-nigerian-govt.html; OUR REJECTION OF CATTLE COLONY IS IRREVERSIBLE – EBONYI (PUNCH NEWSPAPERS, FEBRUARY 18, 2018) - http://punchng.com/our-rejection-of-cattle-colony-is-irreversible-ebonyi/. When those who have shown sufficiently positive attributes to warrant the prestigious portfolio of a newspaper column descend to this level of crassness and unfounded allegations, I am choked with pity for the profession of journalism in this land. The weight of evidence against the emotive and sensational tirade against the Governor of Ebonyi State by Amanze Obi is not only staggering but so formidable that he cannot rebut any. And he knows it. That raises the question, why would a supposedly thinking man with a certain level of education embark on such a disreputable campaign to traduce and malign a fellow man, propping every single word that flowed from his pen on falsehood, fabrications and outright lies? I have a postulation, and it is to the end that among the numerous malaise that afflict the Igbo, particularly those that parade themselves as pseudo intellectuals and crypto populists, the sight and knowledge of a fellow Igboman whose performance, be it in public or private service, is widely acknowledged and celebrated, tends to stir their bile and provokes the worst of their nature. Accordingly, they mobilise malice and the full lengths of the vicious strokes of envy to destroy the one that has risen, or is celebrated or who, in whatever form or fashion, has distinguished himself. Just last Sunday, July 1, 2018, writing also in the back page of The Sun, one Echezona Okechi, who describes himself as “leading the movement to reform the Anambra APC,” launched an unwarranted and altogether pointless assault on Governor Umahi, deploying as an alibi, the side story of Abakaliki Street in Awka, Anambra State. In assessing its qualification for a response, I found the article so risible that I could not bring myself to dignify it with my pen nor present to its author the notoriety he desperately and manifestly craves. Vulture’s talons are out for Governor Umahi not because he has erred or offended anyone, but because he has carved a niche of distinction and recalibrated the essential matrix of accomplishments in public service statewide, regionally and nationally. Emmanuel Onwe is the Ebonyi State Commissioner for Information and State Orientation I foresee gov. Umahi joining the apc in no distance time he might be picked for the igbo presidency in 2023 if the apc still remains in power. |

Women leader of North CAN Mrs. Leah Olusiyi Solomon, knelt down, crying over the killings especially of women and children.
The woman raised up her hands while weeping.
The President was touched and he directed her to liaise with the person that would arrange the meeting.
With the CAN leaders at the meeting was Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong, whose state witnessed the recent orgy of killings.
The CAN leaders demanded a review of the country’s security architecture and an immediate end to incessant killings by suspected armed herdsmen.
The Christian leaders also called on President Buhari to ensure the release of the abducted Dapchi schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu, who is being held by Boko Haram for refusing to denounce her Christian faith.

DozieInc: PLATEAU KILLINGS: DR. PAUL ENENCHE BLOWS HOT, INSISTS THAT IT IS TOO LATE FOR JIHADIST ACTIVITIES IN NIGERIA AND EVERYBODY WHO IS A LOVER OF FREEDOM IN NIGERIA MUST RISE AND ACT.
In the course of the Healing and Deliverance Service today in Dunamis International Gospel Centre Headquarters Abuja, Dr. Paul Enenche addressed the recent killings in Plateau State Nigeria in his typical ferocious manner. In his words,
"Everybody who is a lover of freedom in Nigeria, rise and speak. Rise and act. Where an agent of the devil can sit on a judgement seat and sentence five people to death for killing a terrorist in Self Defence on their father’s land. I want to know how many people have been arrested so far for Killing the 2 Reverend Fathers and the Parishioners. How many people have been arrested so far for killing the people (all over the Plateau region)? IF YOU HATE WHAT IS HAPPENING, SPEAK OUT. We are waiting to hear the voices of Human Rights Activists. In previous administrations, at the tiniest thing they will all rise (and gather) at The Eagles’ Square. WHERE ARE YOU NOW? Everybody has been intimidated into silence; some charmed into irrelevance. Blood is flowing like water. People are dying like flies and everybody is mute...
Somebody came and said that they are responsible for the killings in Plateau State and it is because the people stole 300 cows. So, they killed Human beings for cows; that is if it is true. And there is an Authority in the Land and the person who said it is alive and walking alive. That is demonic hypocrisy!! But there is a God who rules in the affairs of men.
...I have bad news for every Jihadist in Power. By the Power that opened the eyes of the blind, made the lame and the paralysed to walk; whether you are from Sudan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, anywhere you came from; wherever your conspiracy came from, I am here to announceYOU CAME TOO LATE. In the days of the Jihadist invasion in Nigeria in the early 19th Century you couldn’t overrun the Country. You couldn’t overrun this country all through this years. Around Independence you couldn’t.Now that the anointing is the heaviest in this country. YOU CAME TOO LATE!!! And every one in Places of authority and in Security forces; because i heard that they were in a place(in Plateau) and they were operating in a place for many hours before the security forces arrived. I heard this because I spoke to a CAPRO Official (Calvary School of Ministry based in that town) this morning and he said "the people started telling each other 'let us move. Security is about to come.’ " That means there are informants in the security that are part of them. THE LORD BURY YOU AND YOUR GENERATION! The moment they left, the security people arrived saying 'Come out Come out; we are here'. Houses had been burnt and people had been killed. Some were set on fire in their house. It is delusion of grandeur for any group of people to think that millions of christians in Nigeria will suddenly disappear. It is a symptom of madness. By the Prophetic and Apostolic Mantle of God on my life… All of you who want this nation to burn and to be Dechristianised; going about with ethnic and religious cleansing: If I be a man of God; If it was the anointing of God that made the lame to walk just now and made the mad to be healed just now… If it was the anointing; whether you are in Authority or in the security; anywhere you are, WE SHALL SEE THE END OF YOU. YOU SHALL NOT SEE OUR END. YOU SHALL NOT SEE THE END OF NIGERIA YOU SHALL NOT SEE THE END OF CHRISTIANITY. YOU SHALL NOT SEE THE END OF THE MIDDLE BELT. WE SHALL SEE THE END OF YOU. A Democratic,Secular, Peaceful Nigeria shall see your end!…"

Politics › Re: Plateau: Niger Delta Militants Blow Hot, Reveal What’ll Happen In 21 Days by ANOWEDGREAT: 9:13am On Jul 02, 2018 |
Newsloft: @NAIRATREND
A coalition of Niger Delta militants, yesterday, gave the Federal Government a 21-day notice to end killings in the country.
The group lamented the recent killing by herdsmen in Plateau State.
The militants, who met at Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State during the weekend, also tasked the Federal Government on protection of lives and property of Nigerians.
The militants warned the Federal Government that there’ll be doom if it failed to forestall anarchy and further bloodshed.
They declared a 21-day mourning period for those massacred recently in Plateau State by rampaging herdsmen, and threatened to declare herdsmen and Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association enemies.
A statement by leader of the coalition, W.O I Izonebi, read, “As agitators with conscience, we take lives of fellow Nigerians sacrosanct as no amount of provocation will lead to the slaughtering of innocent Nigerians because of cows.
“We, therefore, declare 21 days of mourning for the innocent Nigerians killed in Plateau State by foreigners trained by late Gaddafi that are now masquerading as herdsmen, according to our President, Muhammadu Buhari.
“We urge the government to do the needful before the expiration of our 21 days of mourning to avoid a total breakdown of law and order because it seems we do not have law, and government is unable to implement its primary responsibility of protecting lives and properties of its citizens.
“We demand implementation of the following to avoid doom and more loss of lives: The immediate devolution of power to states and regions to enable governors discharge their primary responsibility of protecting lives and properties and declaration and proscription of the Gaddafi mercenaries masquerading as herdsmen as a terrorist organisation.
“The government and security agencies saddled with the responsibility of protecting Nigeria and its territorial integrity should apprehend the perpetrators of this heinous crime against innocent Nigerians and humanity; total overhaul of the security organisation and security chiefs, immediate arrest of the Miyeti Allah Cattle Breeders Association leaders and its disbandment with immediate effect.
“We also condemn the inability of the government and securityagencies to protect its citizens from foreigners masquerading asherdsmen committing genocide in the Middle Belt of our dear nation, Nigeria.
“We are not going to fold our arms to see foreigners masquerading as herdsmen slaughter and kill hardworking Nigerians that are going about their legitimate businesses and livelihood anymore, when we have a democratically elected government in place.
“We are bold to ask these questions? What is the primary responsibility of government? Why is nobody being arrested and prosecuted for these killings? As agitators with conscience, we take lives of follow Nigerians sacrosanct as no amount of provocation will lead to the slaughtering of innocent Nigerians because of cows.
“We, therefore, warn that after this 21 days of mourning is over and nothing is done, we, the good people of the Niger Delta, and coalition of agitators will have no choice than to declare herdsmen and Miyeti Allah Cattle Breeders Association enemies of the Niger Delta and Nigerians in general.
“Therefore, we do not wish to see them in any of the Niger Delta states because the pollution and degradation of our farmlands and the polluted waters and rivers are enough provocation, let alone seeing our mothers and sisters in a life threatening situation and being killed by cattle breeders, while the Miyeti Allah is applauding them because they value the lives of cows more than human lives.
“Enough of this carnage going on, we should use this 21 days of mourning to reflect and ask the question, if we are truly a nation where the life of a cow is more valuable than human life.”

Flirtyjane: This is very sad. A young man identified as Chu'un Isa'ac, is counting his losses after his parents were killed in the recent massacre by suspected Fulani Herdsmen in Plateau state. The couple were killed and their house set ablaze by the attackers who also murdered over 120 persons.
The incident happened over the weekend in several villages in Barkin Ladi, Mangu and Riyom local government areas of Plateau State in fresh attacks by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen, while over 200 others sustained gunshot injuries.
It was gathered that heavily armed gunmen invaded the affected villages, including Exland, Gindin Akwati, Ruku, Nghar, Kura Falls and Kakuruk, all in Gashish district as well as Rakok, Kok and Razat villages in Ropp district of the local government area, shooting sporadically, killing people, injuring others and setting structures ablaze.
Similar attack had caused heavily barricade of roads along Mangu Halle in Mangu local government area where youths protested the incessant killings in the area and some mourners on Saturday escaped death along Barkin Ladi – Bokkos road as they were bombarded by gunshots by the herders who occupied the expressway.

Politics › Re: Why Attacks On Vice President Osinbajo Are Unreasonable - By Kurtis Adigba by ANOWEDGREAT: 11:52pm On Jun 29, 2018 |
Opinionated: By Kurtis Adigba
Yemi Osinbajo, professor of law, SAN, is an accomplished professional. Unlike many of our politicians, he has a second address. In other words, outside of government, he can survive, and survive with panache. Before his current position, he was the Attorney-General of Lagos State for 8 years. He performed excellently.
Prof. Osibanjo, is also a senior pastor with the RCCG. He was the pastor in-charge at the Banana Island road branch, Ikoyi, Lagos, of the church. As the senior pastor of the church, he was known for his humility, frugality, and godly virtues. Osibanjo, unlike most of his colleagues who will seat in their high offices and delegate evangelism to others, was always on the roads, accompanied by his wife, Dolapo, preaching the gospel of Jesus. He is a self-effacing man!
VP Osinbajo, was not looking for a job when he was nominated by president Buhari as as running mate. President Buhari, on a mission to rescue Nigeria at the time was looking for a partner who is a man of proven integrity and honesty. He found in Osinbajo, the qualities he was looking for. He wasted no time in naming him after meeting him in Abuja. His choice, was a master stroke. Many Nigerians, received the news of his nomination with joy, and pledged their support. Buhari and Osinbajo were elected as president and vice-president of Nigeria under the APC, a party the opposition PDP, and CAN had described as a Muslim party. Some openly expressed their disdain with Osinbajo for accepting to serve under Buhari, a perceived Muslim extremist. They asked: why would Osinbajo a Christian and pastor, agree to serve under a Muslim?
Osinbajo threw himself into the job with dedication. As a senior lawyer, he knows the limits of the powers of his office. He knows he is not the president. He knows that he must remain loyal to the president, and do the jobs given to his office by the president. With a president on his seat, the only thing he can do is to advice the president. He cannot insist that his advice be followed. In the absence of the president, he becomes the Acting president. We are all witnesses to how he brilliantly and efficiently held the office in the absence of the president. He travelled to different parts of the country to reconcile the government with certain parts of the country. He implemented policies that strengthened the naira against the dollars following the positive outcome of his negotiations with the leaders and militant groups in the SS part of the country. He created a pervasive sense of unity, and remained loyal to the president by attributing everything he did to the president.
Osibanjo, is highly trusted by president Buhari. The president is so comfortable with him that he ceded the management of the nation’s economy to him. For a every critical assignment or mission, he is the go-to-man of the president. He has visited many conflict areas on behalf of the president. Many will remember that he is the first to visit and commiserate with communities that has been attacked by the Fulani Herdsmen. After the attacks on some Benue communities leading to egregious deaths and destruction, VP Osinbajo visited the state more than once in a month. He attended the funerals of some of the victims of the attacks, and gave a heartfelt address on that occasion.
Recently, VP Osinbajo, has come under attacks by some pastors and their supporters. Many are questioning why and how he can still claim to be a Christian and pastor, and remain in the government out to eliminate Christians and Christianity. They are calling on him to quit. This is to say the least, uncharitable!
Many of the pastors, making these calls, will not even consider resigning from their positions in their churches no matter how bad things are. They will also, no brook any opposition from any pastor under them. Any pastor under them that holds a contrary view on issues will be removed on the direction of some spirit. This is the truth! The same people are the ones asking Osinbajo to stand up and confront the president. I’m not against Osinbajo confronting the president, or resigning from his position if he thinks there reasons to do so, that is his call to make. I’m against those attacking for not leaving in pursuit of their narrow and selfish objective. VP Osinbajo, is not in government as a pastor. He is there as an administrator whose actions and inaction, are governed by the laws of the country. He took an oath that imposed a duty on him to be fair and just to all, irrespective of their tribes and religion. He is the vice-president of Nigeria, not of the Christians in Nigeria!
If the pastors, believe that Nigeria should be governed by Christians only, they can form a Christian party in Nigeria, and contest elections. This is the situation in some European countries. In 2019, VP Osinbajo, maybe on the ticket with Buhari hopefully, and we have the opportunity to decide his fate.
What many may not have adverted their minds to, is what the situation could have been without the moderating voice and influence of Osibanjo. If Mordecai had been in the palace to counsel Esther, the Jews would have been destroyed from the counsel of Hamman.
Let me conclude this piece by advising the pastors and their supporters to, spare Osinbajo from the needless attacks. The Muslim community is standing solidly behind Buhari, who is the leader, and on whose desk the buck stops. We are tearing at our own. The pastors, should devote their energies in raising up righteous men who will takeover the affairs of the country, and set us on the path to sustainable development. VP Osinbajo is not perfect, only God is!
God bless Nigeria.

Politics › Re: Plateau Crisis, Conspiracy Against Federal Govt ―bauchi CAN by ANOWEDGREAT: 10:43pm On Jun 29, 2018 |
yashedabai: BAUCHI state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has declared that the ongoing crises in Plateau state are a conspiracy against the federal government with the intention of throwing the nation into a state of anarchy.
The State Chairman of the Association, Reverend Joshua Ray Miner who stated this during an interview on Wednesday while reacting on the ceaseless attacks in Plateau and some parts of Benue state, attributed the attacks to the handiwork of some saboteurs of the government who are hell-bent on making the country ungovernable, particularly as the 2019 general election was drawing nearer.
While calling on the President, Muhammadu Buhari to come up with stringent measures to checkmate the spate of killings in Plateau, Benue, Taraba and Adamawa states, the CAN Chairman advised the President to replicate the same feat that was applied in stemming the spate of bombings and killings in Borno and Yobe states.
On the allegation that local Fulani herdsmen in Bororo town of Borno state were behind the series of killings taking place in Plateau and Benue states, the Ray Miner alleged that some politicians who are hungry to seize power at the national level were sponsoring criminals to perpetrate heinous crimes in the Northern part of the country.
He further alleged that “There is a conspiracy somewhere against the federal government and it is this same conspiracy that has opened the borders of northern Nigeria to be infiltrated with criminals from neighbouring countries like Chad, Mali, Niger and Sudan.”
“It is unfortunate that some people are hiding under the disguise of local Fulani herdsmen to perpetrate these killings and from what we are witnessing, they are heading towards the realms of power at the national level,” Ray Miner added.
“If you look at the precision of the killing of innocent citizens and the manner in which these people carry out attacks with the use of swords, guns and knives, you will think it is the ordinary Fulani herdsmen doing the killings, but in the real sense, these people are trained killers who want to throw the country into a state of anarchy,” he said.
http://www.tribuneonlineng.com/152639/ Nigerian's problems are just too complicated to salvage these are pple who are clearly an endangered species in northern nigeria but they are still dancing to the gallery and trying to be politically correct. |
Politics › Re: Edo State Govt. Not Ceding Any Land For Ranching – Obaseki by ANOWEDGREAT: 9:20pm On Jun 29, 2018 |
Osabass: Edo State government has said that it has not ceded land, in any part of the state to anyone, for ranching project. Governor Godwin Obaseki made the clarification in a statement issued on Friday in Benin City, the state capital. According to Obaseki, “The Edo State Government wishes to clarify that it has not ceded any land, in any part of the state, for ranching project to anyone.” He explained: “my administration recognises that animal husbandry is a form of business which is done by private individuals, and the state government does not, as a matter of policy, directly engage in business.” The governor reiterated that under his watch “the Edo State Government will remain an enabler of businesses through policies, incentives and laws and will continue to play this role to attract private investments that will create jobs for our teeming population.” He however noted that “private individuals and groups that have submitted proposals to get involved in animal husbandry, will receive the support of the federal government through the Edo State government for the success of their businesses.” The governor enjoined Edo people to ignore effort by some individuals to give political colouration to every government policy.

omoharry: The Hausa and Fulanis' are the same..the former are willing tools in the hand of the latter..they can easily pick up knives and slit the throat of non muslims and southerners by a quick order from their fulani masters..We southerners are not safe with them..we can only be safe with with the northern Christians..the safest Muslim to be around during religious crisis without any fear of your life are yourba Muslims..they can abuse the living hell out of you if you say anything or if you cross them regarding their religion but they will never pick up a weapon to kill another person because an imam instructed them to do so..that is the different between them and their northern counterpart. But two Yoruba muslims killed a police man in the UK sometime ago. |
