Politics / Re: Yoruba Leaders Say No To Cattle Colonies, Back Ranching by ANOWEDGREAT: 7:41pm On Jan 26, 2018
evanso6226:
Yoruba leaders in the South-West geopolitical zone, under the aegis of the Yoruba Summit, on Thursday opposed the establishment of cattle colonies proposed by the Federal Government.

The leaders expressed their opposition to the colonies during an extra-ordinary session of the summit held in Lagos on Thursday against the backdrop of the recent attacks by herdsmen in the region.

In a communiqué issued after the summit, the leaders argued that the establishment of colonies would offend the sensibilities of different nationalities whose lands would be acquired, adding that it would be a repeat of the Berlin Conference where European powers partitioned Africa.

The communiqué was signed by the National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin.

The leaders resolved that “no inch of Yorubaland” would be surrendered to cattle colonies.

An Afenifere chief, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, chaired the meeting, which was attended by Prof. Banji Akintoye, Dr Amos Akingba, Dr Kunle Olajide, Senator Femi Okurounmu and Dr Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosumu.

Others at the summit are a former governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko; former deputy governor of Lagos State, Senator Kofo Bucknor-Akerele; Goke Omisore; Chief Supo Sonibare; Dr Femi Adegoke; Oladipo Olaitan; Otunba Deji Osibogun; Tokunbo Ekukinam; and Bolaji Ogunseye.

They lamented the setting ablaze and destruction of the farmlands belonging to a former secretary to the Federal Government, Chief Olu Falae; ex-Naval Chief, Vice-Admiral Samuel Afolayan; former secretary to the Oyo State Government, Dele Adigun; and Roseline Ogege.

The communiqué read, “The meeting resolved that no inch of Yorubaland will be available for cow colony as Yoruba are in favour of only ranching of cattle where those in such business will acquire land according to the extant rules and subject their operations to the norms and culture of their host communities.

“We also called on Yoruba people to begin venturing into modern ranching for home consumption and export while our state governments should evolve policies in promotion of ranching by the Yoruba people.
The meeting made these demands to bring an end to the threats constituted by the Fulani herdsmen to law and order, security and peace in Nigeria and to return the country to the conditions of modern governance.”

It added, “These renewed attacks on Yoruba property and persons were considered unwarranted, provocative and brutal assault by marauding elements, who now carry on as if the laws of the country have been suspended on their behalf by complicit authorities.

“The meeting condemned these assaults and called on the Federal Government to be alive to its responsibility by enforcing the laws against these criminal activities and perpetrators of such in order to regain the confidence of the people.

“The meeting made these demands to bring an end to the threats constituted by the Fulani herdsmen to law and order, security and peace in Nigeria and return the county to the conditions of modern governance.”

Fulani Muslims are born cowards why can't they declare an open jihad on Nigeria instead of disguising under cattle colonies?
Politics / Re: Niger Delta Militants Give Fulani 1-month Quit Notice, List Oil Installations... by ANOWEDGREAT: 4:54pm On Jan 25, 2018
nwakibie3:
The Niger Delta militants have warned Fulani herdsmen to steer clear of of the region.

They also vowed to deal with any Niger Delta governor who allowed cattle colony.

The Coalition of militants gave the warning yesterday in Port Harcourt Rivers State while listing a number of oil fields and installations as targets for resumed attacks if the Federal Government failed to address specific grievances agitating the region.

The militant groups gave the Fulani herdsmen one month to the vacate the region or face dire consequences.

Those that signed the resolution included, John Duku (Niger Delta Watchdogsand Convener, Coalition of Niger Delta Agitators; Ekpo Ekpo (Niger Delta Volunteers), Osarolor Nedam (Niger Delta Warriors) and Simply Benjamin (Bakassi Strike Force).

The groups gave the Federal Government a 90-day ultimatum to implement restructuring and resource control, return oil blocs in the region to the Niger Delta people and ensure relocation of the oil & gas companies headquarters to the region.

It said, “Otherwise, there would be no one Nigeria. We shall officially declare Niger Delta Republic after 90 days, if the Federal Government fails to implement the above demands.

“We also demand that all the Northerners living in the Niger Delta to quit the region if the Federal Government fails to implement the above demands within the stipulated time.

“We also call on our people living in the North to also return to the Niger Delta for their safety.

“Our principal targets are Usan, Ima, Okoro/Setu and Asabo oil fields, Okwok, Asuokpu/Umutu fields, OML 112, OML 117, Ebok, Obe oil field, Akpo, OPL 215, 840, OPL 733, 809, 810, 722, 905, 246, 110, 112, 117 etc, other facilities also marked by our strike team are Total Nigeria Ltd, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Intels and Adax Petroleum” On the menace of herdsmen, the group said,

“The massive killings all over the country by Fulani herdsmen are fully sponsored by top government functionaries, especially the security chiefs, who supply them with weapons with sole aim of achieving cattle colony and Islamic agenda.

“The idea of having cattle colony was already in the mind of President Buhari before he contested the 2015 election. The whole world can now see the reason he appointed all security chiefs from the North, including DG of NIA, who is supposed to be replaced by someone from the South.

“The Coalition believes that the killings by the Fulani herdsmen are direct invitation to civil war and we are fully prepared to fight with the last drop of blood to protect the Niger Delta people and her territorial environment.

“The Coalition also condemns the endorsement of the President as APC candidate for 2019 election by some self-centered governors and politicians. Those calling on President Buhari to seek re-election are the real enemies of Nigeria.

“A government that launched ‘Operation Crocodile Smile I & II’ in the Niger Delta, despite the peaceful atmosphere, in the region.

“Operation Python Dance I & II” in the South East destroyed people and properties just to silence IPOB and further declare a non-violent IPOB as terrorist organization.

“It would suddenly turn deaf ears on terrorist activities of Fulani herdsmen taking place all over the country on daily basis. We shall no longer tolerate any further bloodshed within the Niger Delta states by the terrorists Fulani herdsmen.

“We shall ensure that our people are protected from every Fulani terrorist; it is very unfortunate that the government that swore to protect the lives and properties of its citizens has suddenly become sectional government, and lacks powers to protect the masses.

“And we warn that any Niger Delta governor that accepts cattle colony would be dealt with as the enemy of the Niger Delta. We don’t want Fulanis among us, they are our enemies.”

Great warriors carry dey go this is the only language that the bloodthirsty Fulani jihadist cabals running Nigeria can understand very well. Just as uthman Dan fodio was killed in auchi and his jihad was stopped in the 18th century so also will buharis jihad will also be crushed mercilessly once again in this 21st century.

One day, Nigeria will experience another war. I see this coming. The north have always felt they own Nigeria. A country as ethnically and religiously diverse as Nigeria will not progress. A country where one feels he is superior to another will not last. Nigeria will never progress. We just like to deceive ourselves.

Politics / Re: Why Herdsmen Burnt My Farm – Olu Falae by ANOWEDGREAT: 11:45am On Jan 22, 2018
olokeded:
Chief Olu Falae, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation on Sunday explained why arsonists suspected to be Fulani herdsmen burnt his farmland at Imafon in Akure South Local government area of Ondo state

The retired top civil servant said such deliberate setting of farms on fire is done by herdsmen every year so that they can get food for their cattle.

He said, “They burnt the farm so that in the next few days, fresh grass will spring up which their cattle will later feed on. This is what the Fulani herdsmen do every year. The oil palm plantation was affected as well as some parts of the yam and cassava plantations”

“As I speak to you, the farm is burning. I had to call the commissioner of police, Gbenga Adeyanju who detailed the Akure Area Commander to go with my Personal Assistant and Farm Manager to the farm.” Falae said.

Falae also said Federal Government’s bid to establish cattle colonies would not be allowed in the South west.

” This is not about politics but the future of our people. We will resist any attempt to introduce any cattle colonies”

Politics / Re: "My Fulani Story"; Pastor Narrates His Experience With Herdsmen In His Farm.PICS by ANOWEDGREAT: 3:10am On Jan 22, 2018
ChangeIsCostant:
A pastor and farmer identified as Tay Martins, has bared his mind on the Fulani herdsmen saga which has been rocking the country for months now. According to him, there is a group of a vicious and sinister nature that are orchestrating these killings and trying to manipulate Nigerians into believing it's Fulani herdsmen.

Read the man's lengthy piece below;

Let me start by saying i used to be a big supporter of President Buhari. I still like him, but my approval rating of him has dropped; and this has nothing to do with the ongoing killings by herdsmen. I have been trying to assess the herdsmen situation from several point of view. If you carefully engage the sixth sense, you will agree with me that certain things concerning this menace does not add up.

My opinion of the above: One: the pastor received an intelligent report about those who were behind the killings. In my belief: that intelligence report was credible and genuine. But someone somewhere, who wants the pastor to disbelieve the credibility of the report wrote him the letter purporting to be from Fulani herdsmen. Purpose of which to steer up religious sentiments in this killing saga and to consolidate our thinking that the killers are Fulani herdsmen, contrary to what the report might have stated.

What i see here is a manipulation. There is a group of a vicious and sinister nature that are orchestrating these killings and trying to manipulate Nigerians into believing it's Fulani herdsmen. As for me, the letter they sent to the pastor just gave out their schemes. This manipulation is the handy-work of a group of syndicates, somewhere.

My Fulani Story:

I am a Pastor and Farmer. I share a river from which I irrigate my farm with Fulani herdsmen. There they bring their cattle to drink water. There is a large stretch of my land that are yet to be cultivated. Sometimes I see these herdsmen feed their cattle of that part of my land. At first I was worried and apprehensive of them bringing their cattle on it but from the distance where I watch, I saw them standing guard, preventing any in the cattle from coming onto the cultivated farmland. I saw how they speak languages (like a warning) at the cow and the animal obey by stepping back. I also watch how they beat (with their staff) the hell of out of any cow that dare step into my farm. One day I walk to them. As they saw me coming, they came towards me smiling like they already knew my worries. They greeted and spoke to me in fluent Yoruba language.

They told me not to worry about my farm; that they would secure it from the cattle. Then they begged me for water. I realize they could not drink of the river when and after the cattle steps in. So I took them to one of the surface tanks on my farm and told them they could come for drinking water as much as they need. They just took enough in a water bottle and left. At another time I engaged them in further discussions, where they told me that cattle belongs to one popular Yoruba –my tribe’s man. That they are only workers skilled in the keeping of cattle, working for my tribe’s man. I was amazed to hear that.

I don’t stay in the farm 24hrs but I have never return to find them destroyed my crops. But there was a time their cattle, while drinking stepped on and broke my water irrigation pipe. I called their attention to it, they apologized sincerely and offered to pay for the replacement, which I refused. They promised to take extra measures to prevent it from happening again. At another time, I realize that they usually hang a scabbard (cover of sword or large knife) on their shoulder. Very funny, but then I asked: what is that sword for? I was expecting them to say something like: it is for protection against thieves that might want to steal their cow. But no, they told me they carry it around in case any in the cattle would die of sudden illness or snake bite, they would quickly slaughter it and sell the beef. That it is unethical for them to sell beef of cattle that died before being slaughtered.

Sometimes they wave at me by the road side when I drive home from the farm, seeking a lift. Then I stop my car to pick them but won’t even recognize who they are. In the car they would ask: sir, don’t you recognize me? I am the cattle man. Amazingly I will shout wow! You’ve changed. We both laugh and they tell me: we are going to town to make some purchase and that is why they are not in herdsman clothing. No conflict or violence with Fulanis has ever been recorded in that village community to my hearing.

This is my own story with Fulani Herdsmen. I keep picture records of events on my farm because I don’t know when I may qualify for grant. Those are pictures that reflect some activities on my farmland. In the ordinary I would not have shared them for now. But if it could promote peace; why not? Maybe herdsmen are not the enemy here; because I think about this all the time. Herdsmen attack? How are we sure they are Fulani Herdsmen? Is it because they come with their cattle when they attack? I just don’t understand.

My message: let’s be very careful on what we think and what we say. I have noticed that a lot of unconfirmed videos and contents are flying around on our electronic devises. Let us employ the wisdom to verify all things and hold strong which is the truth. The first question you should ask yourself when you receive a content (video, image or text); would this promote peace or generate hate? Think twice before you share. Let us resist the powers that are trying to bring us into strife and divide. I know that many region (if not all) has a reason to be very angry. But the battle to win Nigeria back into her glorious destiny is not of bullet but of the mind. We need to be at peace with one another. Check at all the nations in conflict with their selves. No one is talking about development but about relief and humanitarian situation & solutions. What they continue to get in place of development is death and destruction, until peace if first achieved. Peace is the platform or vehicle by which every good thing comes. Peace is not for free, we sacrifice for it. Peace does not stay or wait; we pursue after it.

How do we sacrifice for peace? I know many of us has lost so much or even too much already. Both Christians and Muslims, this nation mourns with you. But remember that every precious thing you have lost can only be regarded as sacrifice when you forgive. Forgiveness is the sacrifice of peace; and your sacrifices towards the unity and progress of this nation shall never be in vain. If not in your lifetime, your children shall speak of your good story. I plead with you; let us give peace a chance to survive –meaning: we are just about to kill peace.

A light in the tunnel: hope is very near. I can see God raising the next generation of liberal minded leaders. We (our generation) are younger and has seen better things and so shall do better things. If this generation of leaders that has ruled us since the beginning of Nigeria refuses to step off the mantle; I hope they are seeing the writing on the wall that their time is almost up. But if they refuse to retire and pass leadership to the next generation, nature is just about to retire them. As the next generation prepares, let us learn from their mistakes and not wallow in the same folly. God bless Nigeria.

Very beautiful nollywood script so all these killings and destructions of pples farms and houses all over Nigeria are not done by the Fulaniherdsmen? These pple are the only group of people that are known to move all around our forests no other set of pple in Nigeria can live in those terrible conditions with cows.
They might have been kind to this pastor for some reasons best known to them but that doesn't dispute the facts on ground that there are undisputed secret agenda by the Fulanis to complete the failed uthman Dan fodio jihad all over the federation which these Fulaniherdsmen may have been conscripted to be used to finish off the job. The Muslims are very good in deception which their religion even encourage as long as it would help to spread Islam trust them at ur own peril.

Ofodirinwa:
What drives the point home to be is the following. Before I start producing statistics to highlight Fulani incompetence at cattle rearing (other than the deaths it has caused on both sides), observe the most pitiful thing I've seen in a while.

Buhari is a Fulani man. Buhari is a cattle rearer. Unlike the Massi peasants, and Xhosa nomads, Buhari has had due employment for the entire duration of his life, even serving as a governor, head of state (2X), petroleum minister, general and party leader. In short, from wages alone, this is not a poor man.

This is not a man without access. This is a man who believes it is his ethnic nature and right to rear cattle and rear cattle with an ancient tradition and wisdom spanning time beyond memory. Look at Buhari's cows..

look at the pitiful brown feed they're left with. Ribs, skin, depletion, starvation. It's only after his second run as head of state (current) that his cows started showing signs of life and flesh

Obviously from theft.

Can u imagine a man who can't even properly take care of his cows is now elected to lead millions of very educated Nigerians?

Crime / Re: Xenophobia: Mob Destroys 4 Nigerian Shops, Houses In South Africa - Union by ANOWEDGREAT: 3:26am On Jan 21, 2018
maximunimpact:
The Nigerian Community in South Africa said on Saturday that a mob destroyed four shops and several houses belonging to their members at Krugersdorp, near Johannesburg.

A Nigerian owned shop burned at Krugersdorp
Mr Cyril James, the Ward Chairman of the Nigerian Union in the area, told newsmen on the telephone from Johannesburg, South Africa that the attacks began on Jan. 18.

James said that the mob alleged that a Nigerian abducted a South African girl and raped her.

“ The South Africans attacked our homes and shops, destroyed all we have. Many Nigerians suffered severe injuries during the attack. We have left our homes for safety because they (South Africans) are regrouping to attack us again,” he said.

James urged the Nigerian mission to urgently intervene before the mob kills a Nigerian.

According to him, the safety of Nigerians in Krugersdorp is no more guaranteed because there is no help.

Mr Adetola Olubajo, President of the union, said that the situation in the area was bad.

“ I can confirm that Nigerians in the area have been attacked. I am amazed and emotionally down as calls from panicked Nigerians flooded my phone from various Provinces.

Flat occupied by a Nigerian burned by the mob
“ The South African government needs to be engaged at the highest level to avoid further loss of lives and property of our citizens,” he said.

Olubajo said that two Nigerians had been killed in South Africa in Rustenburg and Durban since the attacks began.

“ Two Nigerians have been killed, many displaced and injured in fresh Xenophobic attacks and extra-judicial killing,” he said.

Two weeks ago, more than five Nigerian owned shops and houses were burnt at Rustenburg, North West Province by Taxi Drivers.

The drivers alleged that Nigerians sold drugs to a gang that attacked their members and that a Nigerian abducted and raped a 16-year old South African girl.

The union denied the allegations. “ After our investigation, no Nigerian has been arrested for the rape or drug offence. The allegations are false and spurious, “ the union said.

@POLITICSNGR

Senator Isa Misau who represents Bauchi central in the Senate has unloaded on President Muhammadu Buhari over his recent appointments.

Reacting to reports about the Newly appointed Director General of the Nigerian Intelligence Agency, NIA, Ahmed Abubakar, Misau says the appointment was shrouded in Favouritism. He berated the new NIA chief, saying that he was incompetent and failed promotional examinations.

"Today, the DG NIA that was just appointed, is he qualified to be there? He’s not qualified. This is the person that failed two exams, we know. He failed two exams and just because he is close to people taking decisions, he was appointed.

"So many incompetent people are holding so many positions. Fifty per cent of the ministers are not performing. Since the president assumed office he has not taken any decision to move this country. Today we are seeing it and everybody is avoiding it, nobody wants to say anything.

"So many appointments in this government are not on merit. Some people have taken over the government as if they are even above the president. They take decisions anyhow. We say we are fighting corruption, Babachir that the vice-president’s committee indicted him.

Today, they are pursuing other people, why can’t they take Babachir (Lawal, former SGF) to court and all of us are here keeping quiet. People who have not done anything are always in court. This is the man that squandered money meant for IDPs and he is still visiting villa every day."

He also alleged that the Cabals in the Presidency have finalized plans to impeach the Senate president, Bukola Saraki adding that the President was no longer in charge. In his words;

"Mr. President, distinguished colleagues, President Buhari is not in charge, but the cabals. They determine who and who to be appointed.

During our New year holiday, cabals in the Presidency became suspicious that the Senate President may defect to PDP, so they have made up their minds to initiate impeachment moves against him".

AngryNaijaMan:

https://t.guardian.ng/news/niger-delta-avengers-says-it-will-launch-attacks-on-oil-facilities/

The high command of the Niger Delta Avengers wishes all Niger Deltans a happy New Year as we admonish the Nigerian Government to brace up for the doom we have finished all arrangement to unleash on the oil sector in a few days time.

This round of attacks will be the most deadly and will be targeting the deep sea operations of the multinationals which include Bonga Platform, Agbami, EA Field, Britania-U Field, Akpo Field; amongst others littered across the deep waters of the Niger Delta region. As for the Egina FPSO, we are advising the operators to let it stay where ever it is right now as we are tracking it's movement. We mean it when we say they (the oil installations) shall dance to the sound of the fury of the Niger Delta Avengers. Good a thing the ocean is wide enough to accommodate as many wreck as possible.

On the 15th of January 2018, being the 62nd historic remembrance day of the 1956 discovery of commercial oil by Shell Darcy in the now forgotten and dejected Oloibiri Community in the Niger Delta; the high command of the ND Avengers summoned a meeting of all our operatives from across the Niger Delta to review the progress of our operations so far and deliberate on the planned actions for the future.

It was agreed in that meeting that the killings and division presently playing out in Nigeria along divergent grounds makes this the perfect time to restructure this country.

While promising a brutal outpour of our wrath, which shall shake the coffers of the failed Nigerian nation, our demand unambiguously is for the government to "RESTRUCTURE THIS COUNTRY".

On the 3rd of November 2017 we promised to reactivate "operation red economy" but as usual some overzealous and over patriotic elders intervened and appealed as they have done twice before then for us to avail them some more time to attend to the demands of the Niger Delta as championed by the Niger Delta Avengers.

That we have not achieved any meaningful results despite the opportunities we have availed the Niger Delta elders means that they are either irresponsible or the Nigerian government is not sincere with them as it is their trade in stock.

Because of the above, we have resolved not to listen to the Niger Delta elders as we unravel our New year package to the failed Nigerian state this time around.

We wish to state in plain terms that anybody against restructuring is an enemy of this country and particularly an enemy of the Niger Delta Avengers; and we shall not rest until such enemies are defeated by the Niger Delta People who earnestly seek to control our own resources.

We want to control our resources and directly use them to better our lot instead of been enslaved and made to beg before crumbs are released in a dress rehearsal-like manner to intervention agencies that are ineffective at addressing our challenges. While 1 Billion Dollars from the excess crude account is been released to fight a Boko Haram in the North; successive government acts blind to the very bold array of challenges our region from which this wealth is generated is facing; as they (the Nigerian Government) derives pleasure in sending their unprofessional and weak military to invade our communities and subject our already sick and suffering people to more hardship and poverty.

Only a few days ago the Nigerian Army released 244 members of the murderous Boko Haram sect to Borno state government while thousands of innocent Niger Delta youths continue to suffer in various prisons across the country for no just cause.

It is on the above premise that we are demanding the immediate release of all Niger Deltans Activists and Freedom Fighters that are held captive by the Nigeria Armed Forces.

The extrajudicial cold blooded murder of Kareowei and 20 members of his gang by the Nigerian Army after deceiving them with Amnesty offer is very unprofessional; yes they were common criminals who brought pain to our own people but going ahead to murder them after reaching an agreement with them and making them to surrendered to the army is a clear pointer to the insincerity of the Nigerian Government at handling issues that concern the Niger Delta; just like the Nigerian Government daily deceive the international community of how professional the multinationals are carrying out their operations and how vast they have developed our lands; when the reverse is actually the case on ground.

Let the Kareowei issue be a lesson to all freedom fighters across the Niger Delta never to fall for the antics of the insincere Nigerian Government; put the fear of death aside and fight till the last drop of blood whenever you are engaged in a gun duel with the Nigeria Army as it is this same path we have chosen to glory.Again, the Niger Delta Avengers wish Nigeria a doomed 2018; courtesy the skilled hands of our fierce and smooth operatives across the Niger Delta.

Politics / Re: We Won’t Allow Cattle Colonies In Our Zone, Middle Belt Declares. News by ANOWEDGREAT: 1:41pm On Jan 14, 2018
Stingman:
FOLLOWING the moves by the Federal Government to introduce cattle colonies in the country as a panacea to the clashes between farmers and herdsmen, the Association of Middle Belt Ethnic Nationalities (ASOMBEN) has rejected the idea, vowing never to cede any land from the geopolitical zone for such project.

The pressure group, in a statement signed by its national chairman, Sule Kwasau and Secretary, Reverend James Pam, said the idea of creating grazing colonies across for the Fulani herdsmen was obnoxious and objectionable.

”The idea of creating grazing colonies on our farmlands as a solution is obnoxious and objectionable to us. It’s a subtle attempt by one tribe to take over our God-given, ancestral land and eventually take over the whole country. We totally reject the idea and vouch not to cede any land for such a project,” the statement said.

The group expressed “shock and consternation over the gory killings of Benue State citizens by Fulani militia in cold blood” and sympathised with the governor, Samuel Ortom, the Tor Tiv and the entire people of the state over the tragedy.

It urged the Federal Government to live up to its responsibility of protecting life and property, accusing government of demonstrating bias in its attitude towards “the Fulani militia that terrorising the Middle Belt, the South-West, the South-South and the South-East States.”

The body warned that without adequate protection from government, the communities coming under frequent attacks from Fulani herdsmen would have no option but to arm themselves for self defence.

According to the group, “the only plausible and permanent solution to these unwarranted murderous attacks is the restructuring of Nigeria as recommended by the 2014 national conference.”

The group endorsed the decision reached by the cultural and political leaders of the South-West, South-South, South-East and Middle Belt during the recent “Handshake Across The Niger” festival that there would be no general election in 2019 if Nigeria is not restructured.

In a related development, a group christened Plateau Youth G17 Peace and Progress Forum has described the statement credited to Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State against his Benue State counterpart, Governor Ortom as not only disturbing and sad but disappointing.

The group said the statement had shown clearly that Governor Lalong was yet to come to come to terms with the threats of insecurity staring at him in his state.

The group, in a statement by its coordinator, Mr DachungBagos, berated Lalong for his utterances which it said were uncharitable and without empathy to the present predicament of the people at a trying period.

“We distant ourselves completely from such careless disposition which has shown his inability to comprehend the interest of his people,” said the group.

The group enjoined Governor Ortom to remain resolute to policies and programmes that would keep his people and state safe and not be discouraged by those bent on disrupting the peace, unity, security, growth and development of the state.

Just look at how almost every one in Nigeria is rejecting the Fulanis these pple are not respecting their hosts and they appear to even be the most disadvantaged ethnic group in this contraption yet they have refused to humble themselves.

Exactly.

This is the kind of "ORDER" our Weak President should have given to the Military and Police a long time ago.

I do not support violence in anyway.

No one. I repeat, no one has the monopoly of violence and I advice the people of Benue or elsewhere to not just sit and wait for the next Fulani attack.

You take the fight to them.

Why are the Fulani's not trying this rubbish in the core Niger Delta? Just look at the pictures of dead babies and women I keep seeing from Benue and Taraba.

Buhari you are a weak leader and a very big disappointment at that.

Freaking Moro.n

Modified: Nobody hacked my acct. The pictures of dead children and women eventually got to me. You do not go around killing innocent people for nothing.

I blame the people of Benue,Taraba and Adamawa for this.

If Nigeria wan divide make it divide sef wetin?which kind rubbish be this?why Fulani Herdsmen go dey slaughter people like this?I just dey pissed off.

I don't understand why GEJ is giving a reply.

Even if 1000000 Nigerians were killed by Fulani herdsmen during his time, is that enough to justify the present killings?! Is it an administration thing now? Are the killings now normalized?!

We live in an insane country. Why would anyone even draw our attention to the number of people killed when GEJ was President? How does that solve any problem?!

As the days go by, I see newer and more disgusting reasons to be proud of being a Nigerian. And the more you access the situation, the scarier it becomes. So what if PMB rigs the 2019 election and has to continue his reign of terror? What can we do?!

This is what I keep telling anyone who cares to listen this buhari is too power drunk to accept defeat just like that he is ready to go to the extreme to remain in power including rigging the 2019 presidential elections we should remember how long it took him to get there.
Nigerians should brace up to confront this bloodthirsty monster if he loose and refused to vacate the office the way he is running the affairs of this country Nigerians who are not Fulaniherdsmen might become endangered species if given another four years tenure.

they should ask ortom, he need to answer questions

he was the same governor who told AGATU to lay down their arms when they were faced with this same crisis which also led to the arrest of so many AGATU indigenes forcing them to lay down arms(he called it amnesty), it was after a week or two this herdsmen attacked AGATU again and claimed so many life in the area.
the killing during the said amnesty was the most bloody of all time in the crisis

i can remember he went to AGATU with Gov. Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of nasarawa state to preach amnesty and peace then

when he is serious, he know what to do and how to go about it

i just the watch

This orthom of a governor is a complete dunce and a clown how come at this stage he doesn't still know that the man in the villa is the one behind all this atrocities that is currently going on in his state?

"If you argue the ownership of the moon with the Itsekiri in a court of law, the Itsekiri will produce the receipt with which they bought the moon from God"........ Okumagba.

Argueing land with the Itsekiris in a law court is almost useless, they have cunningly gotten court rulings that give most Ijaw lands to them even without the knowledge of the Ijaws.

The Itsekiris have been stealing Ijaw lands for a very long time.

The Ijaws don't even bother going to court anymore against the Itsekiris to argue land cases, They just mount AK-47 and anti aircraft guns and tell the Itsekiris to dare go to thier land.

Absolutely correct most lands the itsekiris are currently claiming where won by court cases due to their educational advantage against the ijaws.
