press and hold down poot till you have the third menu. The third menu will ask you to download superuser then download. finally use your root cheker to confirm.

Pidzo: The difference between 4653X and 4669X is not only a software issue but also a hardware one. You basically cannot do what you are trying to do.

Do not fry your box your self. As u can see yourself, the two receiver are of diffrent model and patch.
Whenever u intend to upgrade ur box. Make sure it is of the same model. E.g 4669x box should be upgraded with 4669x firmware. Beside, the hardware are a bit diffrent. Mpeg 2 firmware can't work with mpeg 4 box. vise versal. Take note. Always b careful with upgrading ur box

I have nail both bird on 65cm. my 68.5e gives me 40% while intelsat 17 hit 30% and they both work well.

@joewayne. You can't nail w3a on 65cm dish. As for astra 4a you are good to go. Get yourself a 90cm dish before attempting w3a.

Biodun. Where's your location?. Nilesat can not be track with 90cm dish in this part of the world. You should be thinking of 2.4m or 3m dish to track nilesat especially in lagos. There has been claim of using 1.8m dish in south west. But i've not verify it. Mind you it is possible in the northern part of nigeria to track nilesat with 1.8m dish. That bird 4now is impossible with 90cm dish in Nigeria.

For those of u that ur srt4663x don't power on again after upgrading. There's a solution. I once have this problem. But i finaly took my box to Alaba international market and less than 3 minute my reciever power on again. When u open ur reciever there's a small ic in it. The technician use reward station to remove it and place new ic in d box. loo and behold my reciever come alive again. It cost me #1,500. I will post d number of d ic later.

I was upgrading it and light went off. Since then the front display won't show, it won't boot. it will only show black on the tv screen. Kindly help me out

Help Help Help. I have try to do reciever to reciever firmware transfer but my reciever wont power on. The front display light don't show. Please, what can i do to bring back to life my dead reciever. Thanks in advance.
