Like have said earlier, the Quran never ordered Muslims to kill all Polytheists, but the Quran only ordered the killings of a specific group of polytheists at a specific time that where in a size fire treaty with the Muslims. Some Polytheists broke the treaty while some Polytheists honored the treaty. The ones that did not honored the treaty attacked and killed the Muslims then Allah ordered the Muslims to give them 4 months opportunity to make right but if they don't then the Muslims can only attack and kill the polytheists that killed Muslims (only the ones that broke the treaty are killed) but the Polytheists that did not broke the treaty are to be honored and protected by the Muslims according to the Quran. (This verse above tells the Muslims to honored the term of the treaty by the Polytheists that never attacked the Muslims. They are not to be attacked.)

(This verse above is specifically addressing only the Polytheists that broke the treaty by attacking and killing Muslims and where given four months notice to make right with the Muslims but if no response from them after 4 months, only then can the Muslims go after that specific set of Polytheists)

I'm guessing know know the Quran was not revealed in English but it was revealed in Arabic. Arabic or Hebrew are far more complex and richer as a language when compared to shallow languages like English. When Allah says fight in Quran (9.29) it's in the context of addressing the Islamic government and definitely not addressing individual Muslims. It says fight them until they pay the Jizyah (tax) willingly and in submission. The verse not telling me as a muslim to attack you as a Christian to pay me tax. Pay me tax for what? Like I said earlier, the verse is addressing Muslims government and the Christians that refused to pay the tax not all Christians through.

To make it easier for you, translate it as fight (punish) them until they pay the Jizyah willingly and with submission. The root word in Arabic that was translated as fight in English is not the context of two people fighting. Just like I said English is a very shallow language. We looses some the real meaning through translation to English or any other languages and that's why Muslims are required to make salat(prayers) from the Quran only in Arabic even till today.

This is nothing but a twisted translation of the Quran just to support your negative belief about Islam. The first chapter you coated started from verse 2, why did you omit verse 1? Verse 1 explains that there was a treaty in place between the muslim and the Polytheists (Pegans). The Quran actually stated the Polytheists (pegans) and definitely not People of the book (Christians) or Children of Israel (jew). You or whoever translated the verse decided to include (Christians and Jews) in verse translation. Polytheists doesn't necessarily mean Christians or Jews.
This was during war time and the muslim had an agreement or size fire (treaty) with the Polytheists but some bad Polytheists decided to break the treaty by attacking and killing the muslim. Then Allah revealed this verse to the Prophet Muhammad (saw) to give the Polytheists 4 months grace to repent but if after 4 months they decided not to repent then its ok for the muslim to fight and avenge the killings ofMonika , uslim by the bad Polytheists (only the bad Polytheists should be killed) because the Quran also says the muslim must still honor the treaty with the good Polytheists that never attacked the Muslims. The Quran also stated that if any of the good Polytheists requires the help of muslim in getting to a safe zone then the muslim must help them.

The other verse you quoted was Quran 9:29. This is simply addressing the muslim leadership or government to punish or discipline or fight (not to kill) the non Muslims living in the muslim society if they refuse to pay the Jizyah. The Muslims have to pay the zakah(religious tax) in muslim society to the muslim government while non Muslims living in a muslim society are not required to pay zakah because they are not muslim but are required to pay the Jizyah instead. The Jizyah is actually lesser than the zakah and while the zakah is obligated by both adult muslim rich men and women the Jizyah is only required by only the adult rich men and lesser. The verse was only addressing people that refused to pay tax just like living in any western country and you refuse to pay their taxes, the government can definitely jail you unless you pay up. The zakah and the Jizyah is used in running the society by the muslim government or leadership.


Every time you added (Jews and Christians) in bracket () in your translation is actually false because Arabic have no bracket and Jews and Christians where not mentioned as your translation stated.

Quran 9:29

The answer to your question is here.. God directed Abraham in Genesis 17:1-27 to circumcised himself and all his household including ANIMALS which he did. If Abraham could be circumcised, why is Muhammad own case different? You havn't answer my question yet. Is Muhammad above the law? Or Muhammad was a late BAST@RD being on earth?
