Some wailers are insinuating that former pdp members who are now in the APC also ate yams during the GEJ era. effc has just named some new yam eaters, the process and level at which they ate the yam, where and when the yam was eating, and even the utensils used in eating the yam. If the pdp, wailers or Ipod feel this is political witchunt, why have they been unable to give details about APC members who where giving yams too.
At least if you gave an apc member money, you can reveal the account like effc is doing now nd let all nigerians know.

Do you know that jona tried on the issue of pipeline vandalization. He payed the vandals and gave them huge contracts. The vandals seeing we have a clueless presi, decided that they can import heavy military machinery. Now when those vandals can't get the money and contract from buhari, they have gone back to vandalism using resources giving to them by jona. What a right thinking former president we have .

Do you know that in other to stop fuel scarcity, jona decided to pay fuel importers any amount they ask for in the name of subsidy, the finance minister was even arguing with them on the level at which they inflated the subsidy money. Now when the fuel importers knew we had a clueless presi, they decided to double or tripple the subsidy money. Some even collected subsidy money for zero fuel imported .

Do you know that for jona to stop bunkering, he just made it official. They stopped stealing from the pipelines, but now took crude oil right from the official mouth of those pipes. Cus they knew the presi was clueless, they took the crude without any contracts.

It was between 2011 and 2015 that we had more than 3 presidents. I can't easily forget the morocco embarassment, the immigration massacre and the statement " stealing is not curruption" , maybe that's what dasuki and that nimasa guy heard before they started looting and sharing .

The other day Fashola spoke on the use of Pension Funds to build infrastructure. He also spoke on the use of prisoners as a source of cheap labor. That's thinking that makes all the sense.

About ghost workers, maybe you think we are talking about ghosts as in spirits as in willy-willi. Let me educate you a bit.
The federal government pays salaries to the bank accounts of these ghost workers Abi? Because the last I checked all salaries come from a central payroll system. Now can't those accounts be investigated? Cant the passport photographs used in opening those accounts be used to identify the so called ghosts. If someone had been collecting these monies all these years. Then they are traceable.

Welcome to change. Am sure that those that voted Buhari are enjoying this economic crises. Companies are folding up, investors are withdrawing from investing in the country. Many people are losing there jobs, people are dying. When GEJ was the president he brought a lot of investors into d country and tried his best to create jobs. No single company folded in his entire tenor. And the people of Nigeria said they needed change and APC deceived them and brought Buhari who has brought hardship into d country. The only thing his government does is to talk bad of the past government. No single thing that they have done right since they assume d office. Even after 1yr of winning election they are still campaigning.

two things made me realise that buhari is better than Jona.
1. that buhari is not borrowing money to pay salaries like Jona did before he left.
2. The everyday revelations of how money was looted during Jona's time. I would have thought it was propaganda, given the enormous amount stolen, but for the stealer to be saying he stole the money under the guise of political projects!, that's a new thing under the sun. and we have not even reached 10% yet in the investigations.

If Jona had won, even the Nigerian companies would have closed down, and nigeria would have been in super super debt.

Thank god, the Nigerian owned companies will expand and someday open branch for SA.

I think they rather want faster return on investment and not the Abia Government's fault. If INNOSON was in Lagos he would have made better sales than Nnewi but he was wise enough to site his firm in Nnewi despite all the challenges and resultant poor sales. A wise man looks beyond immediate gains towards strategic importance. .

So what's strategic about his location, other car assembly plants located in the southwest are selling more. If INNOSON had been in lagos, it would have been a national brand, not a regional brand. except the Igbos want to spoil business for techno oil, they had not at anytime time portrayed themselves as a regional company, they are doing well cus of that.

If you want to know the difference between Igbos and Yorubas. Go to port harcourt. Some Yorubas have been there for decades working for oil companies but not one single investment in housing or business or even giving back to the community. But Igbos will go to Lagos and other western and northern states and invest all their life work and sweat there. How can you invest so much of your blood and sweat in a hostile environment. I just can't understand.

The locals are just silently waiting for the day they will claim your business and property. It is just pathetic. As for me, I will invest all my wealth in Igboland. I am not looking back. I will rather expand to Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Gabon than go to Lagos or north. One Nigeria is a big scam and the people who preach it everyday don't even believe in it.

even if it's true that the southwest became hostile to the Igbos, there are reasons for that. that same reason will come up eventually if you expand to Cameron, Ghana , Ivory Coast Senegal, Gabon.

It did not take long to get the truth from jides mouth, he confessed when he got back home the third day. He gave an account of how the girl almost killed him. like I said , real events seldom have exciting endings, and this one surely did not. I'm just going to talk a little about each of the main characters or group, what happened to them after dami and bunmi fought over dave, before I give my analysis(the main reason for the topic )

the fight happened about 4 years ago.

BUNMI.
I never heard from or saw bunmi again after the fight, guess the revelation that she had s*X with dave made her stay away from the clique or anybody who heard about the incident.

THE CLIQUE
The clique did not remain the same since that incident, some guys had said things they should not have said and had taking sides they should not have taken. The numbers where never complete again. The main mistake any group of boys will do is to allow girls, expecially their girlfriends be a member of the group. We thought that since these guys wanted to marry this girls , there was nothing wrong in them hanging around when we party together. To clear the air on " guys wanted to mary", I need to tell you that it was not only dave that was planning to marry, a member of the clique who I told you had an accident was already engaged to a lady, and she hangs out with the clique sometimes. A month after the accident,which is also a month after the fight, she discovered that her guy might not be able to get an erection again(he had revealed what the doctors told him to her), and what ensued was the quickest, most silent, breakup I've ever heard. That night, she sent him a text signifying they are no longer together, if the guy tries to get in touch, she will tell her parents and friends that he is impotent. The fear of the revelation caused my guy not to get in touch with her ever again, he even stopped associating with the already deplected clique cus of his issues. He died few years ago. The lady started dating another guy a month after breaking up with my guy and got married the same month dami broke up with dave.

DAVE
dave went from bad to worse, he had lost his mum, his job, his ride, some of his friends, and I'm sure his happiness, cus whenever I saw him, he was not really smiling any longer. Daves most devastating loss was the loss of his pillar, dami. Dami broke up with him a year after the fight, in the fifth year of there relationship, a month after she came back from service. Dave begged dami for almost a year to reconsider, but the more he begged, the angrier she became until abuse and curses forced dave to stop begging her again. dave is still Believing that things changed downhill within 3 weeks, when dami went for orientation, but because of his condition, I did not tell him that things had changed long time before that. Daves status still remained the same till now.

JIDE
jide tried all he could to get dami, she did not see him again after the fight. jide does not know where she stays and so could not track her. well , jide being who he is just forgot her and continued with his quest of sleeping with as many women as possible. that quest derailed for a while though. Sometime after the fight, jide and i went for a wedding in oshogbo, someone in the hood was getting married, I've not been to oshun state before so I decided to use that opportunity to know the town. at the wedding jide noticed a lady, from introductions and all, I got to know this lady grew up and lives in aKure, and she is studying in FUTA. I was of the view that this lady is taken by jides toasting skills cus they charted for a while, but on the way back, jide told me it might not be possible sleeping with her, that the man in charge of the weeding is her father , and he is a pastor. that even though she had been to lagos, she had not stayed more than one day, she does not know anywhere in lagos and she resides in akure.
Jide has cancelled travelling to akure to meet a woman he is not sure he is going to sleep with, but he kept calling her, inviting her to come to lagos, jide wanted to have the girl for one reason, she has big boobs and backside, but being a little plumpy did not allow her to look very sexy. sometime later, these akure girl agreed to come to lagos, she agreed to spend some days with jide. She eventually landed in lagos, very late in the night, on a saturday.

jide told guys(friends in the hood) the next day, that he had sex with her all night, I just concluded that this girl is no pastor pikin(dropped this conclusion when I saw the pics on herFacebook page, she was indeed pastor pikin). By Wednesday or so, jide was not drinking beer again, he was always found at the paraga joint drinking different sorts of concortion, opa-eyin, ale, monkey tail, small leaf, draw, jedi, iba, any mixture that that woman selling it could prepare. He does that , then goes back to the room where the akure girl seldom comes out from. The only time she comes out is when jide takes her to come and meet us at the bar, she takes only one malt drink, jide takes bottled water while she changes her face any time the discussion turns to s*X.
This continued for almost 2 weeks, could calculate the time cus we had to rush jide to the hospital on Friday night, 13 days after the akure girl came visiting. The cause?, chronic exhaustion!

You can picture me standing in the sitting room, half drunk, but knowing fully well that there is trouble in the air, untill I grabbed dami by the waist, I've so far stayed out of the whole fighting and arguments. I just wanted to attend my friends party and have a nice time. By now, the thoughts or plans of telling dave about jide and dami had already been delected from the memory card inside my skull. thoughts that dave might have been cheating on dami, which prompt dami to go for jide had had been coming up in my head, right from when dave sister told dami about bunmi. but looking at the time frame, I knew dami did not cheat on dave cus of bunmi, it might have to be the other way round, maybe dave cheated on dami because of jide. I shifted those issues to one side, there are more pressing matters to attend to.
Daves sister came back to the sitting room, she was not in the compound when the first fight started ,as she has gone out when the kitchen argument ended. she took action immediately, shouting at some of the boys to come back inside, but before the entered she had to adjust bunmi's legs and skirt cus the ackward way she fell had forced her skirt up, exposing her.
She took bottled water , gave me one and told me to sprinkle water on dami's face, while she attended to bunmi. getting near dami, I noticed she was breathing. foolish me, for a long time, I thought people who fainted dnt breathe. well I opened the bottled water and emptied the water on her head, I dnt know the technique of how to wake people who had fainted, I was even prepared to splash a bucket of water on her face if not that she started moving.
To cut the story short, bunmi and dami both woke up, even though I'm half sure bunmi fainting was pretence. They both kept silent and acted weak, which I'm sure was an attempt to gather simpathy, they were both pampered, but the only thing we were happy for was that they kept silent.
I looked at dave who was still on the ground, and saw he had a cut on his middle finger, the bleeding has stopped but he was still wimpering, another thought struck me about dave dami and jide which I'll talk about later.

It was getting late, dami stood up and went to daves room, bunmi sat in the sitting room and dave went outside to talk to the click and explain his own side.
Now the issue was on how to get the girls home. dami, after talking to daves sister decided to leave for home, bunmi also left after daves sister gave her new clothes to wear and excorted her back home. The clique left too, but only after dave had told his side of the story.

Dave explained that he indeed kissed bunmi and they kissed for a while, but he did not sleep with her, he said bunmi instigated the whole thing and when he saw that it was getting too far, he stopped it. well boys did not believe him, cus its very hard for a man to stop such intimate body contact manoeuvres halfway when time and privacy was on your side. but dave swore to the boys and later to dami that he did not sleep with bunmi.

bunmi on the other hand ,claimed that she and dave agreed to a relationship,she told daves sister that dave forced himself on her. daves sister later told me on bbm that bunmi used words to imply that they had s*x during those 3 weeks dami was away.

as for dami, she told me she is quite sure dave can never sleep with bunmi, and that both of them where faithful to each other, she will never cheat on him and he promised never to cheat on her.( strong yimmu from me)

I purposefully added bunmi's issue and the fight to the story of dami, dave and jide cus I wanted it to be a little exciting. bunmi's case ended that day , but dami, dave and jides own continued for a while.
note: the story did not end in an exciting way, true events dnt normaly end that way. But I had a lot to learn which I will explain in my next post.

and that's how everything went haywire, I did not know who attacked who first, but the fight was so strong that it took about 5 mins to seperate the two of them, never knew women are so strong when it comes to fighting for there rights.
After they where seperated, bunmi had to calm down cus her mini skirt keep rising up anytime she moves vigorously. but dami will not, she kept on insisting that bunmi should leave the house. well bunmi can't leave like that, one side of her bra is loose.
bunmi refused and said if she leaves , dami leaves also, and nobody present can tell dami to leave, not even dave. Some of the boys where even making matters worse by telling dave" you see wetin you cause!",which meant they somehow believed bunmi's story. This caused another round of argument.

Some minutes later, dami , thinking(my thoughts aactually) her next move will show bunmi who really owns dave, grabs dave by the arm and was taking him to the bedroom, while telling bunmi that when she is tired, she will go to her house. bunmi blocked the same passage way where they had the first fight ,preventing them for moving, and insisting that the matter must be settled there and then.
Actually I was confused on what bunmi is fighting for, either it's to claim dave to herself or she just want revenge on dave for using her, thinking her actions will break dami's and dave relationship up(hope you guys can see how a woman's thinking can change from wanting to sleep with a guy to feeling used after the guy has slept with her, in a short period of time).
I could understand what dami was doing, despite my state of highness, she wanted to show bunmi that she still controls dave, cus they had made remarks about each others beauty and their ability to keep their man during their argument in the kitchen. dami also wanted to interogate dave to find out the truth. but she wanted to do both there and then, which was embarrassing both bunmi and dave.

as bunmi blocked dave from moving, dami and bunmi went face to face with each other, eye ball to eyeball, pointing there fingers at each others eyes but refusing to get physical. guess they where both afraid to do cus they had inflicted numerous facial injuries on each other during the first fight, and they where quite visible, more on bunmi's face cus of her skin colour.
The abuse and curses continued even after some boys got between them, then the unthinkable happened .
bunmi is a street girl, good at swear words, more knowledgeable about dami than dami was of her, and also prepared for the fight. so her words where biting harder. This enraged dami that all of a sudden she ran to the sitting room and grabbed the empty bottle of red label that I had bought for the party under the bridGe at apogbon. sensing what she wanted to do , I quickly grabbed her by the waist, then she threw the bottle at bunmi. It hit her in the side of her head but did not break untill it hit the floor. bunmi went on her knees shouting " orimi , orimi". I believe I dnt have to explain what one experiences when a bottle is being broken at a party, the sound is bone chilling. The girls invited scattered and ran in all directions, one even made a mistake and ran into the master bedroom screaming, only to run out after realising it was not the exit she ran into. she was still screaming though on her way out. The other boys too who where not part of the clique took to there heels, maybe they thought dami had killed bunmi.
All of a sudden , bunmi who was initially was holding her head with both hands , picked up a piece of the broken bottle and went for dami. dave was with bunmi in the passage at that moment, saw what is happening and tried to stop bunmi, only for us to hear yeeeeeeeeee!. This came from daves mouth as he, few seconds later, left bunmi alone. The clique, which I thought was made up of fearless boys, strong boys that will stand with you anytime, where no where to be found. Wrong!, my eyes found them, scampering for the exit.

Dami was right behind me as bunmi advanced, different thoughts was running through my head, " why be say na me dey this position!, why be say na only me no get sense to run! why be say na me go die cus two girls dey fight over one man, the fact be say I never sleep with woman for like 2 months, God go allow me enter heaven so! these questions and fifty more ran through my head in less than two seconds.
maybe bunmi thought I was going to try to stop her, she did not know I was about to pee in my pants, she decided to throw the bottle in her hand which missed by inches. she then took the flower vase on the table and threw it.


gbam! it hit dami right at the center of her head, she went to the ground without a sound. bunmi, seeing dami fall, immediately started shouting , my head, my head, and she too feel to the ground and fainted.
I stood there like a drunk Sam loco trying to understand what had just happened, I just saw the fasted and most delayed fainting moves on earth!.

hope you have seen a drunk trying to look serious , well, that's how my face looked at that moment.

Before we move to the bottle throwing part, I must tell you a little about bunmi, then about the short scenario that led to the bottle throwing. Note, the knowledge about bunmis involvement came during and after the bottle throwing, and in different stages and different sources, but I'll tell it as it happened in real time.

bunmi was not part of the clique, she was an outsider, we know her cus she was in same department with dave and dami and I, but the boys where not close to her.
Secondly bunmi is dami's best friend, but their nature's are light years apart, dami and bunmi had been friends from secondary school.

now bunmi lived close to dave, practically they live on the same street, but the street is long.
dave used the closeness of his house with bunmi to hook dami to him during those toasting days in school.(One can see all the advantages dave had over others to hook dami).
so in a way, bunmi was friend with dave and dami , but not with the clique, therefore there is a limit to what she knows or understand, she surely did not know about dave plans to get engaged to dami.

now , during the over 4 years of dami's relationship with dave, dami had done the unthinkable, she had been confiding in her friend, seeking advice on how to handle issues with dave as she thought bunmi was more experienced about men matters.
During those times also, dami innocently revealed to bunmi how good in bed dave was, all she practically knew about s*X came through dave.
While dami was feeding bunmi these stories and seeking advice what to do next, dave , who never knew bunmi until she entered the university despite staying on the same street, was getting close to bunmi. Well the closeness was forced anyways, as dave had to drop bunmi in her house anytime he is going home and not stay in his hostel, and this happened often. It later became more frequent when dave started his masters programme.

All these while, dave thought bunmi to be his babe's friend, but we did not know bunmi was looking at dave as the boyfriend she never had.
things became worse as during the burial and few weeks after, bunmi practicaly integrated herself into daves family. She helped with the cooking and all other things, so daves sisters where grateful for her presence.

what really happened between bunmi and dave is still sketchy, the story dave gave is different from that of bunmi, but one fact is that their mouths touched, who initiated it, I dnt know, but it happened while dami was in camp.

Now dami came back from camp same day dave was having his birthday, or at least I saw her that afternoon. We did not want to go to the club for two reasons, one was because a member of the clique had an accident(a story in which you will understand why I dnt trust women), and the other reason was because dave was jobless, all the more reason why the drinks was mostly brought by the boys.

So the clique was in attendance, dami, dave younger sister and some girls where also there.
As the party was going on, bunmi came in ,wearing the shortest of the shortest of the shortest mini skirt I've ever seen with ma eyes. remember I said she is lightskinned, but her thighs were lighter. she was suprised to see dami I noticed.

about an hour later, daves sister caught bunmi holding dave in a sexual way in the kitchen and she started arguing with bunmi. dami heard the noise and when she entered the kitchen dave sister just said " wo, ore re few gba oko e", which means " see, your friend wants to snatch your husband".

dami started with bunmi, asking if it's true, bunmi was shouting ,telling dami to ask dave, dave sister was shouting that's it's true it's true, dave was shouting that everyone should cool down, the boys where shouting , asking what's going on, everybody started abusing each other, and I was thinking , hoping the boys where not as tipsy as I am, cus I can't fit to seperate fight.

dave did a bad job of settling the matter, probably cus he was guilty of part, if not all of bunmis allegations. I was able to get a few things from all the noise, bunmi claims she dating dave, and does not care what anyone thinks, that dave told her he had broken up with dami.
dave sister said she taught all bunmi said was true, as she wrongly thought dave had left dami cus he canceled the proposed engagement and dave did not give her details why.
dami was crying while she was shouting , a tactic with bunmi picked up and it became a competition of who could cry and shout the most. Most of what Dave was saying was "koribe, koribe", meaning "it's not like that, it's not like" which actually was just getting everybody angrier!

I cannot give a full discription of the situation, but if you had been in a shouting match where , emotions and alcohol are involved, you would understand.

The situation calmed down for like 10 min, dami and dave where discussing in a heated but low tone in the passage, bunmi was seated in the sitting room, while daves sister was outside.
All of a sudden, bunmi stood up , saying " mi o ni gba, okurin kan o Le lo mi ko wa lo be" meaning " no man can use me and get away with it like that". she went to where dami and dave was and told him he wanted to see him privately, this got dami angry and she told bunmi to leave them alone, bunmi refused and all of a sudden, a super fast encounter of hair grabbing, nail scratching, clothes tearing encounter ensued.

Let me keep you abreast about the time frame of these events,
dave and dami had been in a relationship for over 4 years, it's was in the 4th year of their relationship that jide came into the picture. jide had also been sleeping with damI for a few months now. I do not know who she slept with most during that period.

The whole scenario changed within a short period of time, let me start of with jide.
first jide changed towards dami, you might think he changed and drove dami away, no, he changed and became emotionaly involved with dami. He told me he liked her, that she a good girl who just wanted to do something crazy from her normal life. He appeared in her life when she was contemplating the crazy act. but now jide wanted to see if they can make the crazy act permanent, why? cus he felt dami was the best of them all.
Do not think that jide has fallen in love, it's impossible for him to do so, even if he tries to. He said its practical and certain that he must be married someday, so why not get married to dami, he does not love her or trust her, but he knows she has the best qualities out of all the girls he knew.

The scenario with dami also changed during these period. dami was preparing for her NYSC, dami and i used to chat a lot , she was also in the same chat group with us(daves friends, the clique). so she was not perturbed when I told her that boys in camp are like wolves. she just typed at several occasions, " you know me now", I'm not like that o", "I'm a one man at a time babe", " I love dave too much for that".
One thing made me and dami to be close, even after school, she wanted me to date her friend bunmi. but I could not, bunmi was sleeping with two of my lecturers. The boys knew this but dami and dave did not(reasons will be giving later). so I just told her," I don graduate, but I never collect my certificate". dami did not understand, but she also did not pursue the issue.

from my discussions with dami, I realised she wanted to marry dave, and also end her excapade with jide.

Now to dave, the clique realised that dave wanted to get engaged to dami before her service, he sees dami as a pillar and wants to make their relationship permanent. But dave changed the date to a date after her orientation but still during her service year, the reasons we later got to know is that dave had issues at work and before dami came back from the camp, dave had lost his job.! This put to a hold, or rather brought to a halt, my plans to tell dave about dami before he gave her the ring.

You will think that this is a normal scenario, that things will play itself out, but bunmi (remember her?)brought herself into the story and bottles went flying, heads got broken!

leaving the joint that night, one straight fact came up in my mind, the fact that I was now involved in the whole drama.
dave was a very good friend of mine, should I tell him, should I discuss the issue with dami privately or should I just keep my mouth shut.

telling dave is dangerous cus I know he is very much in love with dami, dami is very beautiful and sexy , chocolate colour with busts that rival that of vyone jegede. she had proved to dave friends over the years that she is as crazy about dave as dave is crazy about her. What if dave thinks it's a ploy to break them up, citing the fact that I, and other guys where ones interested in his babe before she decided it's dave she wanted to be with, and then I'll be seen as a bad jealous friend.
I'm not sure about dami's reaction if I seat her down to tell her to stop the cheating, she is a woman and might cook up something I might not be prepared for. The fear of loosing dave and the fact she had been discovered might make her do dangerous things.

keeping my mouth shut might be safe for now, but what might happen few years later if dave discovers the truth, now knowing that I knew about the situation before he got married to dami.

Was still pondering these for a day or two when one evening, few days after the discovery, jide showed me a picture of dami in bra and pants lying on his bed. he said he secretly took the picture right before they did it three times.!
telling me that half of the time she was on top made me make up my my mind. dave must hear this, he is my friend and I expect him to tell me if our situations where different.

I made up my mind to tell him a few days later at friends birthday party. I could not cus he did not attend the party, as his mum had died the previous day. daves mother really took care of dave, the ride he drove in school, the 3 bedroom flat hostel(payed for it though he shared it with other friends), the funds, all came about cus of daves mother. her death hit him bad , he was constantly being consoled by dami, so I decided to put telling dave about dami on hold for the meantime.

come and see dami's crying at the burial, even dave was calm and composed, it was there and then that I learnt that daves mother had been taking care of dami like a daughter, paying for her hostel accomodation and buying clothes for her, expecially during family parties like weddings.

I would have decided not to tell dave if not that the previous night, jide had shown me a pix of him and dami kissing that afternoon, including a bbm conversation that evening of him and dami discussing on how well they satisfied each other. she slept with jide knowing well she was going to cry at the burial the next day, wow!.
what bugged me was the fact that they even discussed getting serious with each other, jide even asked her if she could leave her bf for him, but she did not reply. I could not ask jide cus there was a girl in the room, in fact jide asked me to stay around for a while cus he wants to recover small from his encounter with dami earlier, and he is not sure the girl will not insist on sleeping with him if I leave the two of them alone.

If others had known this, they would not have been suprised at my anger that day. The yimmu I was doing towards dami was so strong that I'm sure my mouth must have been touching my nose.

anytime I saw dave afterwards, dami was always by his side, constantly jisting and giggling about things no one can decipher. They looked like the perfect couple, dami, tall beautiful sexy, and dave, taller, well built , and handsome.

and sometimes when I saw jide, he was happy to show me their latest excapades, with that goat like smile on his face. Some weeks later, he even told me he wants to start hanging out publicly with dami, but I saw through him and realised he only wanted to use her as trophy girlfriend. though she keeps telling him that their bedroom relationship is the only thing she can offer.

This continued for a while and then the whole scenario changed!

jide then asked for her phone number which she gave him. The conversation now turned to a series of "hellos" , "how re you today ", and other statements I could not get a hang of, so I asked jide what happened next. He checked where I had reached on his conversation with dami and told me that from that point on, most of there conversation was done through phone calls with little bbm conversations.
It was at that point that I told jide that he is just cooking up this story, nothing in the conversation showed that he slept with dami that afternoon, and her last bbm message was just dated the previous day.
"why you go dey lie guy" I asked jide, " no be say I no respect you when it comes to women, but you wan make this girl look bad for my eyes. E no good o" .
Jide now went on ranting about how I did not believe him and I told him he did not show enough proof he slept with her. This went on for a while, even after two other friends in the area joined us. After telling them about jides lies, they started yabbing him, he threatened to leave unil I told him I'll buy him a 4th bottle, as I still wanted to drink some more.

For like 30 mins or more, the conversation shifted to other matters, football, Jonathans election and what happened at vantage point the other week took over as main discussion. We where so engrossed in this conversation when I felt vibrations on my lap, realising it was jides phone which was still with me , I gave it to him to check his incoming message.

looking at jide while he was un locking his phone, I saw a wide grin on his face with him saying " wa see re omo to dun". He then looked at me and said , " it's dami pinging, she says I should call her", but he responded by saying the noise is to much where he is , that they should chat on bbm.

30 mins later he handed the phone to one of our friends who joined us and told him to read his conversation with dami. five minutes later the guy smiled broadly and shouted "jidooooo". He then gave the phone to the next guy who also praised jide with some incantations I can't remember before he then gave the phone to me.

Note, during the time we where yabbing jide that he made up the story he slept with dami, I had spent enough energy explaining to the two other guys how good a woman dami is, that if not that she is in a relationship with dave, I would have done anything to marry her," she is what every man could dream of as wife" I repeated several times.

so no wonder I began sweating and shaking when I took jides phone to read the latest bombshell.

she first started by ranting about how jide did not call or ping her to check if she got home safely. After jides apology, she typed what I had to read a couple of times to understand.

she said she did not like how she was treated at his place and why he did not drop her in his car at a good place for her to get transport home. I quickly asked jide, "how car issue enter una matter"?. jide now confessed he told her two days ago he has a ride, that yesterday she told him she was coming to the area to see a friend today, and if jide is available , he can come pick her up at her friends place at a particular time. I dnt know how jide got a ride that afternoon to cover up his lies, but I sure know from there conversation that he indeed took a ride to meet dami at her friends , took her to his place (the BQ of his father's house), but could not take her or drop her off later with the ride. I should have asked what happened to the rids or who's ride it is, but I did not.

she then went on to the part I feared most. she complained about him not trying at all, how he did not consider her at all. then she said ," dnt you know a woman feels it when you enter her like that?, how can you be that aggressive , and yet you wanted a third round, I'm not that kind of girl o.".

I looked up at jide and he was smiling like a he goat that wants to mate. even though he is tipsy, he must have discovered that I now know the truth , that this afternoon, around 3pm, in the hot room with no Ac, exactly 14 days after he met her, he had ban*ged dami, the girl I thought was a good woman.

well the story did not end there, dami was not finished yet, expecially with dave, the loving boyfriend .

"Who did you come to the party with", she asked jide. jide said" I came with a guy from my area", then he typed , you dnt know him. from my conversations with jide later about the Un understood parts of their conversation(this was later later that night) he had told me that he quickly had to tell her she does not know the friend he came with. his statement came out thus due to fact that he quickly realised she did not use the " I have a bf I love barrier", and from his experience that girls that want to play outside games dnt like doing it near their immediate environment. As he had made a mistake of telling dami earlier that he came with a friend, which in reality was me, he quickly had to find a way to tell her she does not know the friend.
also realising that the party was a party of friends, he had to lie that the friend sef just came into the country and was lodged at the hotel, they where hanging out at the bar which was next to the pool where the party was held, it was there he noticed her beauty and decided to approach.

I did not even examine his superb lies, but was stupidly thinking, me way no even get passport talk less of visa. when I take arrive for naija to come lodge for hotel. This jide and his imagination sef.

Now back to their conversation, dami did not initially believe that jide did not know anyone at the party and she started probing him. If I had not known dami, I would have thought she was an Fbi agent as she asked deep probing questions which, if she had asked me, I would have failed woefully in the cover up. But jide with his experience, answered perfectly, despite that fact that her questions where coined in a way to make jide reveal more about the party so she can know if jide knows someone who personaly knows her boyfriend or not. she even believed him when he told her he had a fight with the friend who invited him, saying the friend saw her first, but due to a burning desire which enveloped him immediately he saw her, he had to over ide his friends interest and approached her first. He even said he and his friend where not on speaking terms cus of that.

her next statement broke my heart and increased my fears that what jide is telling me might be true. she said," you have to go and settle with your friend o, dnt want to come between two good friends, dnt want him to look at me in a bad way when he sees me with you". in my mind it was like yeepa! Make this babe no disappoint me o!. meanwhile jide was about to order his third bottle while I was just finishing my first.

I met jide at the joint around 7:30Pm, he was halfway through his first bottle of legend, afer apologising for getting there late due to the hold up at adetola, I ordered my own legend . I prefer drinking Guinness stout, but since jide had ordered legend stout and it's far cheaper, I decided to do same. jide wanted to order for asun, but he changed his mind after one look at my face.

Then the jist started, jide told me that he collected dami's pin when he was dancing with her started pinging her afterwards. I told jide that he had told me he collected the pin from her on our way back from the party which was held at the pool side of a hotel(location cannot be disclosed), and I remembered I did not want to talk about it cus he wanted to cor firm if the pin dami gave him was same as her b b pin on my phone. I did not want to show him dami's pin on my phone cus it might be a ploy to get dami's pin as she might not have giving it to him. I also do not want to be implicated in the whole drama if dave finds out, cus we move in the same circle of friends.

Jide now bought his blackberry tour out for me to confirm if it's really dami's bbm' s pin or not. I opened his bbm and there it was, dami's beautiful face staring at me like it did on my own curve an hour earlier when I checked my phone. I did not need to check the pin number cus I a ready know it's dami's bbm pin.

still Believing that dami, which I regarded as a good woman when it comes to sticking with a guy in a relationship, would not have anything to do with jide, who I can't count the number of girl friends he has, I told jide, " so na the proof be this, say you get girl pin and una yan, you come wan use that one lie to me say you do the babe. guy, that girl too good for all these your lies jare, even if you show me her naked body, I go believe say you tear her clothes ni".

Jide, realising that his proof might not make me change my mind about dami(who I've known for five years now), now said that I should go through the history of his bbm conversation with dami while he drinks his second bottle.

After getting to the top of the history page, I started reading downward. what I realised that in reality, dami was quite different. This same dami that would not dress anyhow in school, always modest despite the fact that she was very sexy, always clinging to her guy like a koala clings to a tree wil now be charting freely with jide.

well to be truthful, and to be honest, in the first few days of there pinging, jide got knowhere with her, several times in her pings, she told jide that she has a boyfriend she is in love with and cannot see jide for anything. This got my hopes up and and mentally reminded myself that jide go hear the bad side of me today, he think say na every girl be oshofre, e fit be say na him go eventually pay for him beer himself.

reading further, I realised jide changed tactics and instead of talking about dating, he started talking about her, asking her about her business , her aspirations, goals etc, which she warmly responded to. The jist went on smoothly for another two days or so until jide went back to the " I really like you" part of his jist. Was expecting her to repeat her earlier stand, but her next reply shattered such hopes.
