It is unscriptural to insult or rebuke ministers of God . A new generation seem to be ingnorant of principles of the scripture and the consequences of violating them which carry curses

Psalms 105:15
Touch not mine anointed,
and do my prophets no harm.

Sometimes in this forum I Have heard some ignorant people say that the verse above is for all Isreal and not men of God . If you think so You must have gotten your Theology upside down. Firstly is the whole of Isreal anointed . Is the whole of Isreal prophets ? That verse was making Reference to Patriacts and prophets Abraham and Isaac Before whom God rebuked Kings for touching their wives .

Psalms 105:14-15

14 He suffered no man to do them wrong:
yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed,
and do my prophets no harm.

Genesis 26:11
11 And (KING)Abimelech charged all his people, saying, He that toucheth this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.

That explanation should be enough for he wise.

God anointed 3 offices in the Bible days . The king ,The priest and The prophet. God gave instructions to have respect for such. And by That we have no right to insult such men

Exodus 22:28
28 Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.

Remember that this rulers were ministers anointed by God “priest and prophets

The same way today God has annointed ministers over Gods people .

What if a minister do wrong ? That still doesn’t give us the right to curse or insult them . A minister can only be rebuke by God or someone higher than him but not a surbodinate . I will give you 3 instances In scripture .

MOSES
He was the man by who the law came , yet he was the first to brake the law of intermarriage . He married an Ethiopian woman when the wife left him. Aaron and Miriam who were surbodiates Spoke against Moses for his wrong .

Numbers 12:1
1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

God judged them instantly read the rest of the story . Miriam became leprous on this account .

Same things goes for the sons of Korah and elders who stood against Moses for having too much authority claiming that “they are all anointed “

Numbers 16:3
3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

DAVID AND SAUL

It was evident that Saul was a backsliden King. Even though David had been chose to take over he would not violate scripture principle despite the Fact that Saul wanted to kill him . He had had numerous opportunities to kill Saul but wouldn’t do it because of the anointing upon Saul as head . Especially when his servant Abishai asked David permission to kill Saul

1 Samuel 26:9
9 And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD's anointed, and be guiltless?

PAUL
Paul once had an incident where the Highpriest ordered him to be slapped . He insulted the highpriest without knowing he was high priest . But when his attention was brought to it , he apologized .

Acts 23:2-5
2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth. 3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law? 4 And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God's high priest? 5 Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.

These days we have people especially on this Forum insulting ministers . It is error which carry curses . If a minister did wrong against the law let the law handle the matter , if it’s against God , let God handle the matter . But stop putting your mouth especially in things that’ you may even be wrong about in your own limited understanding

Who ordained him a minister? Is it God! Unlike the bible times, Many people today called themselves. God didn't call them. Call out a 'pastor' when he goes astray! This is the statement many so-called pastors have used to hold people in bondage and carry on with their nefarious activities.

Davidonkonsults:

True. It's however akin to a needle in haysack search. One is crying in my mentions for highlighting the fact that for marriage, Nigerian men outside see them as non-viable options. They on the other hand know other nationalities can't tolerate their toxic nature. We marry them here out of lack of options and children.

Obviously, you have never experienced other women! Honestly, you reek of inferiority complex! Hope you realise, most of the things we average Nigerian men get away with, with Nigerian girls and African girls, most white ladies and akatas will NEVER tolerate them. Things you can do to a Nigerian girl and she'll overlook, a white or akata woman will never tolerate, except you are ready to be a doormat, which most of my Nigerian friend that married whites are. Over here, it is not as easy as you think!

All ye men here that I bashing Nigerian women make me laugh! I know must of you are washing pant of the so-called white women. Brothers, pls don't pay heed to them! It is far better to marry your fellow Nigerian, except you are not a real man who wants his posterity to live on forever. Checkout men on their old age who married whites back then, do they look happy to you? As for me, I will go back home and marry and I will commit it to the hands of GOD. I wnt my posterity to live on and I dont want to have children who might have identity crises. Most of you talking rubbish about the Nigerian women have never been outside the country before. You also suffer from serious inferiority complex! If you are a true son of the soil, marry from your heritage, it pays in the long run! Forget the flashy white women of the west!

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Imo Records Highest Rate Of Unemployment As NBS Releases Statistics by antocreative: 6:43pm On Aug 14, 2020
The reason this is so is because Imo has the highest number of graduates, so by proportion they will most likely have the highest number of unemployed youths. You can also check population of people seeking admission or number of people that took jamb, imo is always the highest, so it is only logical that they also have the highest number of people who are denied admission yearly and couldn't enter higher institution. Check out the number of people deployed for nysc yearly...Imo also tops that....

I also believe that they mean 'educated' unemployed people in white-collar jobs...

This man seems very intelligent and enlightened. Honestly, I am impressed, though I don't really agree with him marrying Regina. But, what do I know, different people have different mindsets towards such things and religion and tradition also plays a role.

As for marrying Regina a virgin, I totally believe it! I personally know a lady whom people feel is a bad girl/LovePeddler, but she's still a virgin. Very very decent woman. Virginity is not written in the face. Believe me, ppl who you might not expect are virgins and those who look 'holy' might not even be virgins.

Romance / Re: Dating Nigerian-American girls in the United States by antocreative: 8:28pm On Jun 27, 2020
My elder brother who has been in the USA for almost 20 years came back home to marry a wife about 7 years ago! He said that was the best choice ever made as he almost married someone else over there. the only downside of coming home to pick a spouse (wife or husband) is that financially, you might have to depend on one person for sometime, till the other find hid/her feet. The wife went back to school and is doing very well for herself and the family and she still maintains her Nigerian roots and my brother is very happy with his choice!

I am a man and you can never compare a pure nigerian girl to those born overseas, no matter how bad many of you want to paint naija born and raised women. i do not doubt there are bad ones, e.g those that want to marry for visa and all. That is why when you want to marry, look for someone that has a life back hone e.g has a good job in Nigeria and is educated(especially if you are also educated). Don't look for slay queens and rungirls, that is when you might run into problem,.....

Family / Re: Is It Wrong To Show Gratitude? by antocreative: 9:12pm On Jun 24, 2020
wwwkaycom:
I'm confused about this. Am I expecting too much from people? I had a pastor few years ago, do anything for this pastor, he will never say thank you.

There was a time he followed us as youth in the church at that time to a youth picnic on the instruction of our Senior Pastor, upon arrival, I mobilised the youth to appreciate him by presenting a gift of a very good quality shirt, he returned it and told us its too small for what he'll collect from us, he said we were big youths, we had to contribute more money to buy a suit and add to the shirt. He didn't at any time say thank you to anyone of us.

There was a time he did his mother's funeral, I travelled all the way from Ondo State to his hometown somewhere in one of the southern states, I gave him a token of 10k which was what I could afford at the time as present, no thank you till this moment.

I can mention 5 other instances in which I offered him gifts without even an acknowledgement that he got it.

One day while preaching, he said "if you do good to anyone and you're expecting him to thank you, it means you didn't have the intention of doing the good ab-initio". He was transferred to another state since 2013.

Again, I have a colleague in the office who have this same trait. He told me he doesn't know how to say thank you. Do anything for him, he believed he deserved it. He will never say thank you.

One day, our oga traveled to Germany and bought some beautiful shoes which he gave to us when he came back, that shoe would have cost 27k if purchased in Nigeria at that time. I got it through our secretary and sent an SMS to oga immediately, I also called him to thank him. The following day, I didn't see him, I sent an SMS again and the third day, I went straight to his office in the morning to thank him again.

This is the way I was brought up. We had to prostrate to thank our parents each time they paid our school fees or bought something for us in those days. My friend didn't say anything to our oga. As I was going out of oga's office, he called me back and said "can you see your friend Stanley? he will never appreciate anything". I asked Stanley and he gave me the same reply my pastor gave me years ago. " If you do good to anyone and you're expecting him to thank you, it means you didn't have the intention of doing the good ab-initio". He said must he now turn himself to who he isn't just because of a shoe? that's just who Stanley is.

Now I have a neighbour in my street, every morning I'll pick his two kids and take them to school since their public school is very close to my children school, these children will never say thank you. They just hop in and hop out of the car every morning and sometimes in the evening if they see us while passing the front of their school. Funny enough, their parent also haven't appreciated the gesture at any time, its like an abomination for them to say thank you. One day in March, before the lockdown, I went to my kid's school by around 11am in the morning to submit school fees tellers, I saw one of the kids I normally pick to school in front of their school gate, I stopped to ask her why she isn't in class, she told me they asked her to go home because she was feeling feverish. Instead of going back to my office, I took her home. As I was driving, I asked about her parents, she said they'll have gone to their business places and that his dad's phone rang but he didn't pick it when the vice-principal tried to call him while her mum's phone was bad. I took her to their house, ask a nurse who also sells medicine in our street to treat her, I paid N1200 for the drugs, nothing like thank you from this 12 year old girl and her parent didn't say anything till date even though the nurse told me she narrated the whole story to them.

Last Saturday, I attended the landlord association meeting, I heard the assistant secretary of our association saying that he paid 2k on behalf of the man for a particular work we're doing in the street and that the man didn't even show appreciation or make effort to pay back his 2k. This man just said "its only God who deserved thanks, I'll pay your 2k next week".

Are these people really right? Is it wrong to show appreciation for good deeds? Our parents taught us to show gratitude for good deeds when we were young, were they wrong? I'm not so clear about this.

My dear, pastors are one of the most entitled people I have met in my life. They love to collect and use other people but can never give. Very very manipulative and selfish wicked people! ! am not saying all are like that, but most of them are. I avoid getting or working close to any for my own sanity. Please serve God with all your heart, don't serve man!
The others are just ingrates!

I could remember going through something and people said a lot of bad things about me, not knowing I was very highly depressed. I almost committed suicide then.
Also I worked with one very useless pastor, who pretends alot. He will use and use you but will never give you a dime. Very manipulative selfish man. It will never be well with you wherever you are Mr fake pastor. You will continually beg to feed in this land of the living. This man will sell you for just 10000 naira. Because of this useless man, i honestly have a natural hatred for pastors. Fool.

Also be weary of close friends in the work place. I have learnt a lot from keep close friends in the work place, especially females. They are not worth it. I was best friends with one useless hoe in my former work place. I didn't know the idiot was sleeping wiith the MD. Anything I tell her, she goes and tells him. I have never seen someone that placed little value on herself like this woman (she's not even a girl again ooh). Agbalagba somebody

Anyways, I honestly do not gbadun a Lastma job at all. The church is bearing the entire cost oooh.. Lastma job is honestly a no no. Is that what you want to be doing for the rest of your life. Also, it doesn't seem like you have any further professional/vocational qualifications. Am I right You will not enjoy that Lastma job if you do not have more than a Secondary School qualification cos they might not give you good placements. Are you ready to stand on the road and be arguing with agbero forever. Take this chance the church has given you and improve yourself. I would also have taken the opportunity cos I am really interested in learning some vocational skills, but my time schedule is tight. And I learned it is fulltime for 9 months straight. My dear life has taught me that not all so called opportunities are really opportunities in the long run. Be strategic and deliberate. Above all, you know your situation, commit it to the hand of God.
