4 Play:Posh. Plain and simple. Obama is a mullato and definately AA to the core. Born and bred. I also take umption with this "half white and half kenyan" nonsense. Do you mean half American and half Kenyan? Or do you mean half white and half black? He is merely looked upon as another high class negro that grew up around white folks if you want to get technical. Only the media harps on the fact that his Dad is from Kenya. Every black who has sense in his head understands that to the whites, he is just another nigger and will be treated as such if he does not play his cards right. Also, show a little political astuteness in recognizing that Barack is not really creating a new political identity based on the fact that his Dad is a Continental. He still refects the primary identity of a Black Politician, he is just sharp enough to avoid the pitfalls that have hamstrung the Three Stooges mentioned earlier (J S F) (^_^). I think it cool that he is riding the media induced, so-called "disassociation" from mainstream Blackness, but remember to look hard and see that he is hardly different from any other upper class black, mullato or otherwise. Furthermore, polls don't mean Sweet Honey Iced Tea except to shape opinion, not reflect it. Currently he is reaching out to the Who's Who of the Upper Crust of American Blacks to build his warchest and I think he will do fine (exceedingly well, in fact) if he can finally reach out to the real power players of Black America and began to integrate them into the political process instead of the same old tired NAACP negros. Clinton is only riding the wave of good association with her jazz playin, chicken eatin', Haiti invadin', Bilderburger, Trilateral Husband. Fact. She has no real basis of support from Black America. If Obama can secure support from that upper crust, it's over. Damn what you think or your petty opinions. Cause then all he got to do is get on the chitlin circuit and hit up the Black Belt churches with that 'christian talk'. Memories of MLK will wash over America (and maybe the world). Then, it'll really be over. Know Dat. (and I don't even like the man.(^_^), but I'll help him win.) Let's say he does get elected. . . now think of the boost that the AU 6th Region will get. ![]() |
Nkonim, Afrikans! I have uploaded a few financial freedom books. Finance, money management, and trading. I don't have acces to my forex materials right now but i'll bump the thread when I get a chance to upload them in a couple of weeks or so. www.anuhelix.com/books Here is a sample of the texts: * The Secret of Selecting Stocks* *The Options Course Work Book* *The Equity Options Strategy Guide* *Developing a Trading System* *Learn to day-trade the E-mini S&P 500* *The Secrets to: Emotion Free Trading* *Come Into my Trading Room* *Oct 2006 issue of Currancy Trader Magazine* Nkonim! |
optionsxpress.com has a free demo account that you can learn various strategies which is worth how ever much time you invest in it. If you sign up you get access to their education which is extreamly extensive! Anybody interested in options or trading in general should definately sign-up. @paddy_lo Do you trade any other derivative products? What is your avg rate of return? All the details of options have always confused me. How much capital, and what type of strategy would you suggest for someone to deploy who wants to begin acquiring monthly returns that steadily increase? |
Thnks for the link, checking them out now. If ECOWAS did have a unified exchange that would be soe C R A Z Y! I am learning about the exchanges here in the US learning thier history and it's very interesting. I will definately want get on the Nigerian Exchange also. Wonderful days we in Afrikans! |
I got a couple of strategies, (covered calls, bull put spreads) under my belt but work and forex eats up most of my time so I haven't had time to really sit and review all that I have learned. I do plan to resume demo trading on options express early this year, however. I am also interested in currancy options. I am always looking to collaborate with fellow traders. I will say this: Puts (make money when stock go down for the uninitiated) and the systems that make use of them definately need to be in the quick draw holster of any trader that plan to make it big this year. 2007, chinese year of the pig will be great. I see many millionaires made this year but even more fortunes downgraded and even downright lost. I am also looking at trading futures from the CME. Make sure your email stays current and when i get down to business on the options side, I'll shoot you one. |
When not only you, but everybody you care about is safe, comfortable, and has the means to better themselves and everyone around them. Strong People:Families:Communites:Villages:Cities:Regions:Nations:Planet |
I always point to the folks at http://www.forexbastards.com/ They give rundowns of a multitude of different brokage firms and their platforms. http://www.babypips.com/ has just expanded their site, making the quality of the info they provide even better. You can keep getting free demo accounts ad infinum if you are smart. Right now, I think FxSol's AccuCharts are very good to learn charting. Full of features and very complicated. Take time to download the help files. Don't let charcters fool you into thinking being a trader is easy. Fun, maybe. Easy, no. Before I close, i would caution everybody against "signal trading". Learn how to be a real trader and how to read a real chart first: know how to identify a trend, basic technical indicators, Candlestick Formations, chart patterns, fundamental analysis, etc before betting the horse on a silly green up arrow or even worse an even sillier red down arrow. Nothing beats a good education that comes from hard work, determination, and drive. Nothing. Period. |
I would have to ask what you plan on doing with the "Access" if you didn't have it currently but gained it in the future? I can tell you up front right now: The Global Capital Markets are wide open to anybody that is determined to have their share. What does that translate into? 1) the lazy or dumb need not apply. Everybody is just not cut out to be wealthy or powerful. 2) the smart and determined can increase their fortunes million, indeed billion, fold. This is especially the case if you have a drive to be a positive, enlightening, and balancing force on this planet. If you think that Nigeria does not have access to the capital it needs then just formulate your plan and take it. Period. You are in New York. . . I am sure you understand the resources at your fingertips. |
Cool. Do you know if these are "international" entities or home grown Nigerian outifts? |
Nevermind about the links, i got the ones from the first page. |
Does the Nigerian or any Continental capital market have derivative products? Options, Futures, etc? Also What does the bond market look like? What are some sites to go to to learn more about the Nigerian Exchange? Also, are there any "shared exchanges" composed of multiple countries from ECOWAS. What type of tradable commodites exist? You guys are so smart! There should be a website that caters to Afrikan Traders! Who will do it?! (^_^) |
Dude, That was str8 D Y N A M I T E. Or better yet C-4 laced with RDX. (^_^) Very good post! PLEASE Keep it up! Now we gotta talk about derivatives and specific strategies! |
Nkonim. A lot of good info! One thing I did notice however, was that no one really said anything strategic goals that you will actually be using the capital that you create to move toward and accomplish. With all the problems we have perhaps we should create investment clubs that revolve around a specific problem and issue that you feel are important. Maybe a real estate venture that will provide housing in your community, or a fund to address local A.I.D.S. issues or creating jobs. Having money and access to capital is nice, but you gotta ask sooner or later: "What am I going to do with it?" and: "How will I serve?". The knowledge is definately available and if the sista kg is willing to provide guidence from a professional position, then it must be understood that what we set our mind to is already manifest; it is merely waiting for us. Nkonim! |
The consumer forex market is a shark tank in the middle of a moat filled will piranhas inside a huge digital library that comprises the body of knowledge and raw data that is the global financial econ-sphere. While it is true that in the center of that shark tank is a bottomless fountain of capital, to think that others are going to give you free access to it is just silly, I have to be honest. If you want to invest, then you need to find a group of peers who are as determined as you to be financially free and attack the markets yourself. No, you don't have to become a master trader, but you definately have to be versed (extensively) in the service or product that you plan to pay somebody for. There are plenty of intellectual resources out here that will "put you in the game", but you have to be determined and willing to sacrifice some time and energy. P.S. Yes I have posted and no, i am not "back", even tho i know i have some juicy tangles to re-ignite (^_^). |
Mariory:Ouch! ![]() |
i was just about to start a topic about that: Zahymaka: |
Adeoba, You had a chance to look at Swedan's set up as far as their self defense structure? Do they have a military? Are you required to serve or did you get there fairly recently? |
I think the us army green berets/Delta Force/ Special Forces would be more similar SAS. One of the main differences I know of is that noncommisioned officers can actually lead SAS misions, whereas in the us, an officer is always present on an A Team. You really can't compare the marines to the seals. The seals are an elite unit of the navy whereas the marines are just the ground combat element of the navy. Many marines join the seals, but i don't know about vice versa. Also, many marine units are MEU/SOC which mean marine expeditionary unit/special operations capable. |
akay47:Good Talk. Sho ya right. |
Zahymaka:also, what are the topics you are lookin for? I might be able to check my archives and upload it for you. . . my 30 gig book partion malfunctioned, but i have been rebuilding my library. i go a 3MB DL and 40kB UL so it's taking a lot less time to build this time (^_^). |
Zahymaka:Check out www.demonoid.com if you need programming and compsci texts. Their list of ebooks is very impressive. You can email me for an invite if needed. Anybody a member of BitMe.org? |
stanech:You got some evidence? Or you just talkin out your neck? |
dude, check the bit torrent sites and do what you do. ![]() |
Old Glory:Are you advocating buying and holding, or are covered calls and calender calls about of your strategy? Yeah, google is doing what google does. They exemplify the newer breed of powerful companies that refuse to abide by the "old" ways of doing business. The bottomline is that we are on the outside looking in but still must study these companies, along with their tactics and strategies, and prepare for the time when our compaines and organizations will have to weather these same, if not more intense, waters. Nkonim!!! |
I don't think we need to be "thanking" them. If anything we need to be thanking cheny, rumsfeld, and tenet. Now more "REAL" terrorist are going to gunning for common folk in america who don't have anything to do with foreign policy. It's disgusting. This coming from a former 101st airborne soldier. American have never demostrated the so called high and mighty "masonic" principles it was "süpposedly" founded upon. Senseless death and destruction to further the wealth of a few psychopaths. That's what it has always been about. |
You know, i would start out with a targeted newsletter passed around first. You can do it inhouse at that stage with your graphic design software and Adobe Indesign. Try to make it relevant to a large body of constituants and research who responds to what as you narrow down the audience. Then you will be in a better position to market adverts and get sponsers. Also, if you notice that you have multiple interest groups that you can't serve with one newsletter, start two!!! Also, don't for get about the online component, especially for you marketing and adverts. You can go crazy!!! As with any venture, make sure your risks are logical and surmountable, so do your due diligence before hand! Email me a copy! (^_^) |
Seun:Hmmm. . . Aunty use to love the Weekly World News. . . |
