Seun, everything is relative. Africa is not developing, and it definitely is not developing at a "good" pace. What is holding Africa back is honesty.

What Africa needs is a list of every major ethnic group on the continent (Ethnic groups with 5 million or more people) and use that as the basis on which new borders and nations are created. Enough of all this pretending like these boundaries mean anything other than administrative facades put in place by the colonialist. Get back to the drawing board or fail to progress.

Any wise military man will tell you that no battle plan survives the first shot of battle. It is the same way that no false border is able to advance at an acceptable pace.

Africa is not developing becasue we have not properly applied ourselves to the task. The older folks have made a mess of things everywhere we are and we have the luxery of looking at thier mistakes and not making them. Hopefully, as we (this generation) become more powerful, we will be more careful, thoughtful, and strategic in our approach.

One thing I like about the Chinese is that no matter where they go, what they achieve where they might even migrate too, they never forget home. Its more like in the blood. I also want to point out again, that nowhere else did the "protestors", attack their own people. There where maybe a couple of incidents where the police had to step in to protect property and controll the crowd and whatnot, but in the overwhelming majority of the reactions, the anger was rightly and justifiablly direct to danish interest. (And I applad the resolve of the arabs in the region who made sure to talk with their dollars. Several muslim companies moved in to snatch the market share and offer similar products. Very good move!)

That whole killing black people over actions committed by white people seems frikkin crazy to me. I expect it to happen in the slums of amerikkka, and understand why, but it just bewildered me to see a reaction like that in Nigeria, even with all that I have read and learned in this forum.

HAHA This reminds me of a CIA report stating that the US Census undercounts the black population by up to 110%. Which would put our actual population close to 80 million. Get some text books on electrical theory, microprocessor design, software design, microelectronics, and study the historical and comtemporary issues around moore's law, computer application, and cutting edge developments.

Mind you, it is a huge field, but if you decide on what are you want to specialize in, that'll save you alot of time and effort. If you just want to "know" hardware and not design hardware, then just get a good A+ certification guide.

Computer technicians fix computer and are hands on personnel. Computer engineers usually over see technicians in the work place and have a greater grasp on the conceptual body of knowledge that is computer engineering. Remember engineers are just specialized, highly trained managers that focus on using mathatics to solve practical, physical problems. If that is your ilk, then have at it!
