Two times now, i used different ATM machine and got 'battered' naira notes.

Gone were the days that we do get 'minted' notes from ATMs, now i think what the banks do now is to put notes which have been rejected by CBN into the ATM 'because they know u have no choice than to take it (na machine u wan complain to?).

And the fact that you use a machine far away from where you stay, how do you want to complain to the bank?

This is quite shameful, turning ATMs into refuse dump for useless naira note, NIGERIA!!!

From my own point of view the CBN test in UNILAG was a total mess. I can hear someone saying why?, hold on and let me arrive,
1. people who received text messages had to pass through hell to take the test in fact some didn't get to do the test.

this was all because they had to check whether your name was on the list before they allowed you seat for the test.

In fact i was not allowed to seat for the test by 8am as the case was supposed to be i had to get to my office and go back around 12pm to seat for the second test, all because they sent me a text message

but did they succeed? no they didn't succeed making sure only the people called took the test, this is a secret ooo, one of my course mates in university i saw there took the test though he was not supposed to take it.

2. the position i sat for the test, Application Programmer, APR, i wonder who set the test, it was simply rubbish, abeg make no-one tell them ooo

u should be able to adjust this code to make it work but note these two things

@ tundewoods, i somehow saw the url of a website built for NYSC Ekiti wen i was serving last year but up till today i couldn't get to view the site or portal, is it dat i got the wrong url or the portal was not uploaded or the domain (or whatever has expired), ? dats just by-the-way

with regards to the site, let me say good job (just to encourage u ssah) but look into the following
1. the colour combination and graphics generally is bad (why don't u involve someone who's good in graphics to help u)
2. pls place ur javascripts and stylesheets in another file so that when someone goes to view source all he sees in pure html, but u can leave it if it would cause too much headache
3. there's too much information on the homepage (too much text, too much colour, too much pictures)
4. make the layout a perfect rectangle, if u understand what i mean, don't make some part of the layout stick out
5. flashing menu or side-links, no way, work on it pls, remember this is a corporate website not an entertainment website

in fact, just pull it down and go back to redesigning the layout for the site, get someone who can use firework or photoshop to do a layout for u then follow it to develop/design ur site, dats if u understand me

Java ooooo Java, i hope @worldbest gets to read this,

not matter which language u have decided to learn the most important thing is that u r able to solve a problem with it,
and most times learning a language (programming language) is an attempt to make u understand the flow or programming, though not consciously, this helps u to be a bit flexible, that is u can pick up a new language and u're going with it b4 long.

i hope i'm making sense, a lot of developer in the world today can do several languages if the need arises, think abt that

finally no matter how much of free games and anti-viruses on the web, there is still a space for u to do something like that too, in fact it helps becos u have enough samples to get started and get beta as time goes by.
