PoliticsRe: New-List Of President Goodluck Jonathan's Achievements by anulaxad(m): 6:49pm On Nov 20, 2012
Holyrule: As far as am concerned. COMPARED to previous Presidents before him, he's done enough soothing for this country in just One year. Some of us sit at home, and talk out of ignorance. Those who travel a lot are living testimonies to what this man has done for our sinking Nigeria. And remember, there 3 more years to go, think about it. As for the power sector, hmmmm. I NO FIT SHOUT... He's simply d best.
must you compare to the last president huh and there's no way hes better than obasanjo the man removed Nigeria from the top ten corrupt list and Jonathan has moved us all the way to second place.and why is it that Nigerians think they don't deserve the best they can.people were not dying innocently in packs back then were they and there is not hardly any difference from then to now.
PoliticsRe: 100,000 Signatures Against Homosexual Law In 9ja! 2be Or Not 2be? by anulaxad(m): 6:26pm On Nov 20, 2012
let me tell you something about Africa s tradition in the old days if you were gay nothing will happen to you and they always say there's a reason.example of a story in Nigeria a girl was a lesbian and her grandma said the reason why was because her auntie died with out having a husband.and because the western world stepped in (Europeans and Arabs ) they made us believe that its wrong.like northern Nigeria is most populated by Muslims and southern Nigeria most populated by Christians thanks to the British.and yes i'm christian so i think being gay is immoral.

PoliticsRe: North Sustained Nigeria Economically Before Oil Was Discovered - Ango Abdullahi by anulaxad(m): 9:02pm On Nov 19, 2012
let me say something about every tribe i come from originally the Yoruba tribe even though born and raised in a different country(UK)the yorubas are the most transparent Nigerians who open arms to all and never discriminate igbos are the most visionary leaders and they know what there doing they have not been strong development since they igbos was in power. the northerners are the reason why Nigeria has the most happiest people in the world they struggle everyday to get a living and never depend on there government so i don't blame there being a boko horam but only if they were not killing innocent people.
PoliticsRe: The Plume Of Hopelessness ( President Jonathan’s Media Chat ) by anulaxad(m):
Jonathan never learns what a slut of man he promised to reduce poverty and i remember when he did then when they asked him yesterday not only did he reject that he never said that he did not want to talk about poverty reduction.he wants to higher subsidy rates and about the poverty thing he claims to
create wealth but wait hes talking about the country and not his people.and the lollipop head literally admitted to himself of being corrupt you lot may have not noticed but when it came to the question about corruption he was talking about how his trying to hide cases to deal will them personally and yes hide corruption is what he was talking about(hes too much grammar cant fool no one).the bleak head of his is not thinking well DON'T VOTE FOR HIM IN 2015 NO MATTER WHAT!

i studied his case 10 years ago and please why do you like trouble so much i'm not nigerianised or have your mentality i think much better than an average Nigerian i'm born and raised in England and so is my father and when i was growing up there was so much negativity about that man and things i saw on news you wouldn't believe so don't stand and talk like he was a good guy money is still being found across the world in his foreign accounts and don't try blame people who he thrown in jail example obj his the problem of Nigeria not ibb or obj him sani abacha now grow up and think and stop arguing with an economist who knows downfall and growing strengths of countries. sad and you must think 12 or 13 year olds are not smart maybe in Nigeria where the education systems make you and educated illiterate but not where i live kids could takes gcse at that age in England if they want.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Insists On Subsidy Removal by anulaxad(m): 9:07pm On Nov 18, 2012
GenBuhari: Obasanjo started the lie of calling fuel price hikes subsidy removal.

Why lie?

It is easy to sell the fuel price increases by claiming you are removing a subsidy (which nobody knew existed) than to call it what it really is - a fuel tax to raise revenue, and because most of the this tax is intended to be squandered and looted, by calling it subsidy removal Obasanjo and now GEJ feel they would be little scrutiny on how the revenue raise would be utilised.
look you Nigerians and your grammar i didn't even bother to read it but oil disappearing has been a problem since 1999 and obsanjo was just being nice for not raising it up by 2000 percent. huh

PoliticsRe: What If Goodluck Jonathan Resigns? by anulaxad(m): 1:25pm On Nov 18, 2012
Atheist:-D:
What does the constitution state in such a circumstance?
if law was followed (and trust me no law is followed in Nigeria) the military and vice president should be in charged but more power should be under controlled by the military and house of assembly and yes elections should start in a months time and ready there should be candidates but in Nigeria's circumstance the vice president will throw the law (bill about how power should be controlled) out the window take full power and will and rule Nigeria as long as he can until the next year where he might carry the elections.example bad-luck Jonathan(same rule applies if the president dies). cheesy wink

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Insists On Subsidy Removal by anulaxad(m): 9:36am On Nov 17, 2012
sorry im talking about obasanjo [ quote author=GenBuhari]What you have have stated is not easy to understand.

Please break it down for me.

Which president are you referring to?

I guess it theoretically it us possible fro removal of subsidy to result in a greater than 100% price increase.

But realistically, when have you ever known Nigerian PDP goverment in the last 14 years to compassionately subsidise anything or worry about hardship of the masses enough to apply subsidy on anything?

First do you agree or not that removing subsidy cannot
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Insists On Subsidy Removal by anulaxad(m): 6:03pm On Nov 16, 2012
GenBuhari: What does subsidy removal mean?

Am I correct in asserting that if I was to remove a subsidy , the resulting price can not increase by upto 100%

PLEASE CAN ANY MATHMATICIAN OR ECONOMIST CORRECT ME IF MY ASSUMPTON IS INCORRECT.

Someone please then explain how the same subsidy continue to be removed since Obasanjo's rule when fuel was around N27 / litre - Obasanjo increased the price by over 500% undecided

Someone please tell me I have not lost my mind undecided
you got it all wrong mate he did that because the world was suffering inflammations and oil prices was increasing because oil was deceasing he should have raised it up more and Nigerians knew that that's why they were not protests he was warned and threatened to increase it more and i know because that was one of my important cases that i had too study at university.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Insists On Subsidy Removal by anulaxad(m): 5:54pm On Nov 16, 2012
omenka: im affraid you hardly seem to understand what fuel subsidy is.. Plus, Jonathan wasn't the president who instituted it.. It has been inplace since time immemorial..
i'm afraid your wrong he did instituted the subsidy around February well he or as i will say he increased it from 65N to 120N now it might be 97N and the only reason why is because of the protest that those brave Nigerians stood up for themselves and there country and i know my job that i do makes me travel allot so I've been Lagos several times (i'm Nigerian British) (in Lagos that's when i discovered nairaland) so don't change the truth he rised the prices and he wanting to bring them shocked what a surprise(not really) his just wanting you lot to see him as a nice person don't fall for the trick mate your gonna regret it. lipsrsealed

PoliticsRe: President Jonathan Is Indeed Transforming Nigeria by anulaxad(m): 5:14pm On Nov 16, 2012
this man Jonathan is a piss taker i was watching aljazeera English it was about that bakassi region obasanjo put his best effort to keep that region now this lazy president does not give a bullocks and has lost it and i was hearing how the victims feel that there still Nigerian and how Nigeria could have easily won the case all that was needed was for Jonathan to finally meet in court but nothing happened and it was snatched away by Cameroon.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Insists On Subsidy Removal by anulaxad(m): 8:49am On Nov 16, 2012
garri_gangster: Many are only interested in attacking the President and not to analyse the propriety of his actions.

PoliticsRe: Do You Hate G.E.J - Why ? by anulaxad(m):
redsun: Nigerians think they owe the politicians that steals their monies a dime. They think they are not good enough or human enough to have 100 percent accountable leaders or even 50 percent accountable.
has someone read this very intelligent thing yet i agree with him a hundred percent listen to my words of advice people of nairaland im an British born Nigerian economist who works in central London cbd and i study African development both human and ledc(less economic developed countries) medc (more economic developed country). and most of the african enriched countries can develop itself in a year and Nigeria out of all countries can at the maximum of 12 months Nigeria has never had a visionary leader but im not saying one has not tried .

Sincere 9gerian: I Love, support and voted for Jonathan because I see in him a person who will most likely develop all parts of the country fairly uniformly. I like Jonathan because of the following reasons:
1) completion of the dredging of river Niger. Present status- dredging of river niger has been completed.
2) completion of Onitsha port. Present status- Onitsha port has been completed and commissioned
3) remodelling and upgrading of Enugu airport to international airport. Current status- remodelling work is ongoing and arrangement has been completed to construct an international terminal.
4) construction of 2nd Niger bridge. Current status- the ground braking and actual work is expected to commence in March next yr, under PPP
5) reforms and privatisation of PHCH. Current status- almost completed.
6) completion of the Onitsha-Owerri road. Current status- COMPLETED.
7) completion of Onitsha-Enugu expressway. Current status: Head-bridge to upper iweka section already expanded and COMPLETED. Work ongoing at other sections
cool Enugu-PH expressway. Current status still several bad portions but remedial works currently ongoing to restore bad sections, while we await plans for complete reconstruction.
9)opening of the Aba NNPC fuel deport. Current status: DONE, making the southeast buy fuel, not at official price of N97 per litre( except at NNPC stations) but reasonable price of N120. If not for opening of the Aba deport, with the current scarcity of petrol everywhere, fuel in the southeast would have jumped to at least N150 per litre.
9) opening of Enugu NNPC fuel deport. Current status: work ongoing
10) restoration of the eastern rail line, ditto rail transport across the country. Current status: serious work ongoing, expected to be completed late 2013
10) reconstruction of failed sections of benin-ore road. Current status- one of the troublesome section has been COMPLETELY reconstructed, while we expect work on the other failed section.
11)port reforms, reduction in number of agencies at the ports and all that. Current status: substantially DONE, boosting trade and commerce.
12) consolidation of democracy thru electoral reforms and FREE and FAIR elections. Status: impressive.
13) And so on and so forth.
In conclusion, my support and vote for Jonathan has yielded TREMENDOUS dividends for me personally, the southeast people and for Nigeria in general. You may have different opinion, but for me and my people, the achievements highlighted above means SO MUCH to us. No doubt so much still has to be done, but the destination for now is 2015.
have i not dealt with you yet Mr. you sit back while your government is stealing and taking your money name me one good road in NIGERIA that's looks world class not even in Abuja you have and i know and wait name me one thing that has touched your life by this government undecided
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Power Supply Will Be Among Best 20 By 2020 – Jonathan by anulaxad(m): 6:46pm On Nov 13, 2012
dedeike: It's only those who hve blinded themselves to truth that will not notice the present successes recorded by GEJ in power sector in the last one year. Make your inquiries. Gej has completed the construction of both Mambilla and Zungeru power plants, yet canuck says nothing is being done. Gej has also refurbished Alaoji, Utorogu, calabar, Omotosho plants in line with his revival of NIPP . Yet some haters don't see anything. JUST the other day, we saw Brasilian electric giants Electro bus sign MOU to participate in the ongoing privatization of PHCN, yet haters say nothing. Few days ago, we saw a topic in this forum whereby SHELL had gone to establish a gas plant for power stations in IMO state in line with FG's agreement with them for the upward review of tariffs. Yet haters say he's clueless. People are just hating and sounding like broken records.
hey no no ones a hater but not a single person that i have meet except Abuja gets 24 hour supply not even everywhere in Abuja gets 24 hour supply no ones saying it is getting better but i will say it is not it only takes maximum with best state of the art equipment to build a 5'000 megawatt in 7 months and that's more than what Nigeria has right now and there's more to focus on most important infrastructure (electricity is part of it)people are dying in hundreds by road accidents everyday and your hear talking crap.
