Buhari will extend his "anti-corruption" fight across board. From Amaechi, Rochas to Saraki, he will have to revisit the PTDF scandal, he will have to revisit the petition from "True Face of Lagos" against Fashola and every other petitions including the fraudulent transcorp deal by Obasanjo. Otherwise, he will be a lame duck to think of singling out Godswill Akpabio or any other PDP Chieftain. The Rivers State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Davies Ikanya has concluded plans to defect to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Information just reaching us from one of the chairman’s aides has it that his boss, Chief Davies Ikanya, Rivers APC Chairman held a meeting with top PDP leaders to discuss his defection.

Chief Ikanya was quoted to have said that he should be given sometime to enable him sought out some logistics that would ensure the release of some funds promised him by the Governor.

He however promised to mobilize support for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan.

When contacted, one of his Special Assistants, Mr. James K. Iyok confirmed the meeting with the leadership of the PDP and the assurance of Chief Davis Ikanya to ensure that President Goodluck Jonathan wins the presidential election.

He told scannews.com that Chief Ikanya is unhappy that Governor Amaechi is working against President Goodluck Jonathan
