There are so many reasons why people end up in those universities he tagged lowly ranked and waste of money.

Many universities are very good at certain subjects and general ranking does not reflect this but subject ranking does.

Some Nigerians and indeed African students on scholarship are studying in those lowly ranked universities because of the agreement between the scholarship awarding body and the school.

Self sponsoring student on study leave may not consider school ranking but just want to gained more knowledge in their field and return to their jobs in Nigeria.

Like i said before there are many reasons...

Your age and your demographic information. Your finger prints. Nigerian environment don't have immediate uses for this info at the moment but that doesn't mean it should be in the hands of anybody. Many other advanced countries don't take such issues lightly.

Have you called maybe your bank or your telecoms company and they say they'd ask a few personal details to confirm you are the real person.

Anyways, I do not know what part of the data Mr. Peterside is seeking for but it should not be given out anyhow.
P.S. I am not Wike's fan, so don't think I am being a party loyalist here

After his handling of the education ministry I have never trusted this guy to do any good.

However, he isn't too wrong here. This part makes sense.

Please never call Chibok girls a misfortune again. This is a matter which came about from the previous administration neglecting their duties. The fact remains that if adequate measures were put in place a long time ago there wouldn't have been any Chibok girls missing. The previous administration must take the blame for their ineptitude.
