I don't think anything is wrong with that. They just have to be monitored, be restricted to the particular area allocated to them, pay tax, pay rentage as long as the business remain private.

Then you should be campaigning for goat and pig and chicken and every animal rearer to be given free land.

Why should cow rearers have special treatment?

Finally a sensible decision.

These telcos must have promoted the person who brought this auto voice-mail idea in their "how to milk Nigerian customers" twice a day meeting.

Hello house,

i am sorry if my question sounds stupid but here goes it.

1. i want to get WES-reference number before payment to fast-track school transcript and WAEC/NECO, will i still be able to retain this ref-number when i use card for my payment option later.

2. can my credentials be sent via courier already on its way to canada before i make the payment on WES website.

thanks to anyone and everyone

1. Yes, you can pay with card later for the same reference number.

2. Yes again. Advisable though that you make the payment before they receive the document physically. I didn't pay and told them to help me add a school to my application, they said they wouldn't until I pay. So can't say what they would do with the documents of someone who hasn't paid.

You can’t have a reference number if you have not paid to them.

It's possible. Choose pay through bank transfer, they'd generate a number for you.

Nigerians are a problem to each other.

Those military personnel that extort truckers will be wondering why imported food or medicine is so expensive for their families. Of course business people will put this cost into their selling price.

After taking 10k home each day, you spend two times that amount treating and feeding your dependents.

I hope those evil people are stamped out of that place.

tiwiex:

How did you arrive at this conclusion? So the giant of Africa can't compete with its mates?

Nigeria has the largest population. Logistics consumes about 40% in the cost of goods. It would make sense for many of those manufactures to set up shop in Nigeria which would have meant an increase in FDI. South Africa's economy is bigger than ours. Yet, they joined.

Your opinion counts too but pretending this agreement does not exist does us no good. Did we review it and make a counter offer? I think there was a lack of vision on our part. The FDI that should roll into west Africa will jump over us into Ghana. I think we made a bad decision. If we are already importing excessively from the western countries, why not keep it within the continent? Logistics would be way cheaper. Do you know Ethiopia manufactures all the fibre optics cable they use? What stops us from insisting we have a factory here before joining for example?

We treated Afcta like black or white and it is very wide spectrum of choices. This is why we need cerebral minds at our helm if affairs.

You are defending our absence. I am sure Abuja is regretting being out of the duscussiin right now.

Bros we can't compete with production in Namibia, Kenya, Ghana, Congo. Their labour costs are smaller. Logistics doesn't consume 40% of cost. What industry is That biko? We're better off not signing.

And we will have more than 50 countries to dump ours too.

Think of it.

Dump wetin?

It's going to definitely be cheaper manufacturing in countries like Ethiopia or Namibia. Lower labour costs. So they sell cheaper. Nigeria wouldn't cope, our manufacturers wouldn't be able to beat the competition. Make naija no sign biko.

When you lack knowledge, you are basically ignorant.

I did not make it up, I gave you the standard definition of ignorance which is lack of knowledge so stop ranting needlessly, face Webster Dictionary or google the meaning of ignorance.

Here lies my problem, everybody is ignorant about something. The fact someone doesn't know about one thing doesn't make you better than the person.

Well I guess you can call yourself ignorant as you don't know what I just said.

Bye kiddo.

How do you gain knowledge without exposure to knowledge via reading, googling and other learning tools?

Very senseless and meaningless comment.

Hommie, your idea that someone not knowing about pilots means the person is not exposed and ignorant is quite silly.

You have one piece of knowledge and automatically feel like the smartest person on Nairaland. Big joke.

This level of underexposure and pervasive ignorance can not move Nigeria forward

So this knowledge makes you exposed and very knowledge.

Lol. Lawyers wan collect their share sha.

APC's trick was to reduce voters coming out in PDP strong holds. Whether through violence or the postponing of elections, this was achieved. Based on the number of actual voters that day Buhari won. This fact will most likely make Atiku lose this case.

Well make e go court, so lawyers go chop.

let me not be rude.

have you gone to BOI or any of those channels for loan before?

i asked for export products in demand NOT raw materials or primary goods

Any country can plant cassava or oil palm.

what can Nigerians focus on and produce with their little capitals of less than N200k that will be export worthy?

if research was easy, don't you think everyone will be doing the right thing already?

e.g. I know cement is very good export goods, but can i load a full trailer to Benin or togo? Nope at least N1milion is required

That's the problem, research isn't easy. I know someone who makes baby beds using funds from GEJ's program. Other people have used from Tony Elumelu foundation. People have gotten from BOI. People have sold their father's property. People have used nairabet. People have used pant ritual money.Personally I have funded someone 250k for a business. Trust me, for many people, sourcing 1 million isn't the problem. Perfecting the idea and business plan is the issue. I saw a quote in a movie "Ideas are capital, the rest is just money"

. Issue is you can start small and begin to export.

Then again, research isn't easy. But then again, nothing worthwhile is.

We can choose to stop whining and start doing.

You are wrong. Buhari said "the next four years will be tough". Where did he mention looters? How did you come about looters?
Buhari's infrastructure is financed on loan from Chinese Exim Bank. There are trains in North Korean and many eastern European countries mind you, why are investors not going there because of infrastructure?

Every major financial institution has predicted very tough times for the Nigerian economy in Buhari's next four years.
You people labelled them looters.

Buhari himself has come out to tell you with his own mouth, yet you are still finding a way to excuse him.
Everything he says you people must find explanation for; but you come around to urge people to accept poverty and misery.

Who did this to you?

Not every major financial institution predicted very tough times for the Nigerian economy in Buhari's next four years.

Bro, where are you getting these facts from.

Just give me 5, otherwise admit you're wrong and desist from spreading false news.

You are not being realistic.

The stock market is driven by sentiments, all kind of sentiments.

If it is not driven by political sentiment how come the same Nigerian Stock Exchange gained significantly when Buhari was announced winner in 2015?

That was when they thought he was capable of doing what he said he would.

Everyone is now aware that he lacks capacity and very disappointed the election was stolen.

Someone said CBN pumped money into the stock exchange. That's what I'm attacking bros.

Do you agree the person said rubbish?

what finished goods do you think we can export and to who?

Bro, instead of us complaining online, do research. If it's capital lacking, bank of industry and other outlets are there. This is an administration that is willing to support home grown. Even a cassava farm or oil palm farm can have you cashing out.

Nobody can do this for you. It's only you that can decide what your head can carry.
