Dollyak: This is probably the hardest and most vulnerable job now in the NE, due to increasing IEDs and suicide bombers, so I am happy Nigeria is employing bomb diffusing robot. To quote a movie 'There is a fundamental principle in the bomb disposal game: never send a person to do a robot's job.' Was that from the Hurt Locker? |
Family › Re: Please Save Me From Myself, My Husband Cheated On Me, I Tried To Kill Myself by Anyi3(m): 4:37pm On Jun 03, 2015 |
kweenkong: @op i feel for you but you need to look at the bigger picture and that picture includes your children. You obviously married a cheat and its really sad . Stop having a pity party by yourself you cant undo the past you can only resolve to live better.
Did you have a discussion with your husband about it? What was his reasons? Your marriage needs a lot of hardwork to get over this, couselling and most importantly prayers.
But SUCIDE is never an option. Really? Reasons for cheating OP I commiserate with you. Suicide is definitely not the way. Cry, be depressed, get fat but not suicide. First go for a vacation maybe two weeks and just be on your own. You'd know what's best after that. Keep your family out of it for now, they will certainly escalate the issues. After the vacation, trust me you'd know who and how to involve your family and other steps. |

frankyychiji: What? Has it not happened before? Where were you two months ago when they came with thugs from Lagos and were shooting everything thing at sight? Didn't their bullets cut down an undergraduate boy in his prime? Where were you? France? Their cry is to enter their office and do their job. Open the roads and see if they don't enter peacefully. There is a right to free movement in Nigeria. Or are you in Ukraine that you don't know this? |
Politics › Re: Fayose - I’m One-man Army Against APC by Anyi3(m): 11:36am On Jun 03, 2015 |
People above me are commending this move. So freaking sad. You want people to get paid for doing nothing. These law makers are going to be paid salaries for all the months they have done nothing. They want to go to their office and do tasks they are being paid for and people are commending the governor's actions. If what they do is illegal, the aggrieved party can go to court and nullify anything. There really was a country... |

Zellie: She shouldn't be bothered about losing her integrity because she's rich? Isn't a good name better than riches When you're a celebrity or top politician or head of something, there will always be bad stories about you. Even Obama has some negative stories about his marriage. As far as you know it isn't true, enjoy your wealth while the poor haters keep running their mouth. |
Politics › Re: Oil Deal: House Throws Out Report Clearing Diezani by Anyi3(m): 2:28am On Jun 03, 2015 |
chuna1985: Sanusi has already been indicted for crime before he started talking about unfounded missing figures... This even validates my point further. He was allegedly indicted and still challenged the government without fear. If you recall, he came out to challenge some of these indictments with proof. Mrs. Diezani on the other hand keeps on saying cabal is after her. Well let's wait for actual charges to be laid on her and see her response. |

Modified: My analysis is: Clean people do not need to run around seeking people's views. If she's clean, the worst thing that can happen to her is she has lost her reputation and would not get any other national appointment. She's rich so she shouldn't be bothered about this. However, the way she has given interviews trying to prove her innocence. If you truly are innocent and know no court can jail you why are you trying to prove yourself? Worse is she's using emotional pleas saying a "cabal is after her". Sanusi is an example. He talked knowing he can not be jailed. The worst thing was losing his post. He didn't go about trying to defend the allegations against him with emotional pleas. He released facts while defending himself. Based on this, I believe this woman has something to hide. Well I could be wrong though. |

acenazt: Good write up there. Some guys just want to jump on a beat and drop useless rhymes like I am on the radio trying to get my video on a telievison I had a vision to go on a mission where I can fulfil my ambition. they dont care bout studying complex rhymes and links. They dont know what a punchline is. If asked they say I dont play piano but am always on keys is one badass punchline. One advice Dont listen to lil wayne, future, bobby schmurda, soulja boy, migos, young thug and rea srmund these guys got nothing lyrically. And please Olamide, lil kesh and their likes are poor in anything lyrical. Go for guys like Vector, Kahli Abdu, Jagz, X.o senavoe, Eminem, Jayz, Nas, J.cole, kendrick, Chino xl, Immortal technique, cannibus, Slaughter house And Aotp or Jdmt. Got lots of other great names but this will suffice for now. What of Nig.ga raw |

That is really something I worried about. Internal UK rankings are distorted from global rankings. Which scale are they using to rank sef? Well I based my choice using the World rankings though |

Politics › Re: Okonjo-iweala’s Hidden Figures By Governor Adams Oshiomhole by Anyi3(m): 10:53am On May 28, 2015 |
AfricanGod2: First of all, thank you for summarizing. Second of all if what you've written is correct then you're being unreasonable.
third: Okonjo is a world renowned economist, she is the 48 most powerful woman in the world according to Times and she has immensely more credibility in her profession than the governor calling her a paper economist. In fact the Oshiomle is the quack between the two of them.
Fourth: All this stuff about attending meetings with governors and giving governors slide presentations is so absurd I can't believe someone who claims to be a governor is not ashamed to mention them. Okonjo works for the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. She does not work for ANY governor and is NOT ANSWERABLE to ANY governor. The man, and any other governor that expected her to stoop to a level less than that of a commissioner for them is silly, lazy, incompetent and does not deserve the title governor. He should go hire a competent commissioner of finance and face the business of govenoring his state!
Only in Nigeria do state "governors" go to the federal government begging like paupers. Only in Nigeria do the finances of states depend so much on the performance of the federal minister of finance. And ONLY in Nigeria do state governors complain like babies when the said minister does not have time for them. Oga Shekau is on the list of powerful people too. Why don't we clap for him as well if that's how you label good people? The fact she is so called "world renowned Economist" doesn't mean she by default is a god. Greece that is facing recession don't have good economists ba? Good economists screw up all the time just like good doctors and good carpenters and good Mai suya. Simple question is did she spend from the ECA and SWF without following due process? Finish. |

segxi1960: Hahaha. Please know that night club then wasn't as it is today.
Night clubs were places you go to at night, you never slept over as it is the norm now.
Surulere night club readily comes to mind which I rocked then.
We had a hall and a compound. You drank your becks fully clothed (no tattoos, shorts or bling), you approached a lady nicely and you ask her for a dance.
Not 2015, where every 20 year old goes to a club half-naked with a desire to grab every female on the floor.
I miss the good old days Sir, when dem born you? |

Dollyak: That's just heartbreaking. The rivalry has brought out ugly hatreds from both sides. One person called me a bastard and told me I am not better than a goat just because my Mum married a Yoruba. Yorubas too are just as bad if you criticise their behaviour toward Igbos. How I wish both side can sit down, be logical and constructive for the best of both parties. Who is that person that said that? Give me his name and address |
Romance › Re: She Gave Me So Many Greenlights But... by Anyi3(m): 1:53am On May 27, 2015 |
ronald4lif: You mean with all that green lights she gave you still had to ask her such a question?. Totally uncalled for.
She did what most women in her shoes would do. The reason she was giving you those subtle signs is because she doesn't want to come off as cheap, so she make suggestive moves and expect you to take advantage of it and woo her. Now when you asked her that question she'd to recede for same reasons.
When a woman convey you green light you don't go about asking irrelevant questions. You just assume that you both are dating and start behaving like her boyfriend. At some point, if you're smart, you'll lock lips with hers without her putting up any form of resistance. There you've a relationship. Straight up correct. Not every relationship must start with the question. I like the kiss style abeg. Been working for me for a while now. OP oya do the needful |
