Did no one bother to tell you Atikulooter is planning to sell off our refineries?

You really want to compare the sale of NICON to the nation's cash cows? sad
Don't get me started this afternoon.

2019: Your plans to sale Nigeria’s refineries callous, anti-people, BMO tells Atiku

“Our position is that any private entity that desires to own and operate companies in the oil and gas sector, especially in the refinery subsector, should go ahead and secure license and establish their own refineries.

Businessman, Alhaji Aliko Dangote has shown example in this regard with his 650 thousand barrels a day refinery in Lekki, Lagos State.

“It is appropriate to question, at this point, the going status of the many public corporations sold off at highly undervalued rates to cronies and fronts of high government officials between 2002 and 2007 when Alhaji Atiku was the nation’s Vice President. Status reports on the various operations of these corporations indicate vastly diminished operations and viability.

“Thankfully, we are already experiencing a revival in the oil and gas sector under the disciplined superintendent of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. The refineries are recording increased refining capacity while gas supplies to electricity generating companies have increased by more than 100 percent over the last 12 months.”

[Wikileaks] “Atiku Manipulated $40m NITEL Contract to Ericsson” – El Rufai
In the recently released SECRET diplomatic documents by Wikileaks, Nasiru El Rufai opened up on how the then vice president manipulated a NITEL GSM Equipment Contract valued at $40million to suit him and his partners. He also detailed the sharp practices engaged by Atiku and his boys in office. He pointed to the then President as being aware of the dirty practices by Atiku.

Nasiru El Rufai, frustrated by Atiku’s antics, offered to resign. But the then President refused to accept his resignation.

I don't usually reply to ignorant filths on nairaland.

The Nigerian officers were at Mons Officers Cadet School for military certificate courses. The only prerequisite was that they were to be referred there by governments. There was no academic prerequisite. The least duration for a cadet degree at MOCS was three years. NONE of the Nigerian officers were there for more than six months. Fact check this with their profiles on Wikipedia etc.

Don't quote me again with your ignorance.

Mumu, you think we attended the same down-the-riverside school of inverted logic? grin

P.S - Buhari was already in sixth form when he got admitted to the army.
Please ask your parents what it took to get into the sixth form of any school back then, assuming they are old enough to know.

Buhari had claimed that the Military board was with his certificates but the Military board came out to deny this in a publication that they are not with Buhari's certificates.

Now that he has been president and has the executive power to order the presentation, why hasn't he done that?

Adesina is lying by saying Buhari won his certificate case in court. Buhari was charged to court to force him to present his certificate. What the dullard did was unprecedented. He went to hire dozens of SANs to institute perpetual injunction. And the lawyer who filed the prosecution was forced to flee.

The War College where Buhari is claimed to have got his master's degree didn't claim Buhari got a master's degree there. There is a difference between an academic degree and a certificate course. Buhari was in the war college for a certificate course. Anyone can undergo a certificate course in any Uni in the world without prerequisites. In Harvard, it starts from $3,000. That's what Chika Ike did.

The least duration for a master's degree full time at that war college is ten months. Buhari was of course never there for that period, which validates the claim that he was there for a course.

^^^Arrant nonsense.
All our security forces played along to a certain script - an incontrovertible fact that even my dog understands.
Sambo Dasuki, David Mark and others feared for what was to come after he won the APC Presidential primaries - so it came as no surprise that incendiary rants about the "islamisation of Nigeria", "a missing certificate", "his advanced age", and more followed.

But let me cure you of your ignorance on other matters.
#1 It was Prof Sagay who said Buhari's diploma was the equivalent of a Master's degree, not Buhari himself.
#2 If Buhari gained admission to the Mons Officers Cadet School on the basis of his qualification at the time, the issue of a missing certificate is redundant.

Now even allowing for a bit of conjecture here...does the fact that all Professors in Nigeria are now required to have a doctorate degree invalidate Wole Soyinka's Professorship. You see, I have decided to entertain your logic for a microsecond - in order to demonstrate just how puerile it is.

I just don't get you guys...

you will see an obvious wrong been done, but because it is your 'person' commiting that wrong, you pull out all stops to justify it even when rational reasoning dictates otherwise.

for your information, there are affidavits that MAY not require supporting documents because those supporting documents may be impossible to retrieve, e.g. affidavits on date of birth, state of origin & other such issues where the issuance of a CTC may be impossible...

then you have affidavits of on issues where the records can be gotten, but will be issued as CTC or to whom it may concern... e.g, academic results, drivers license etc. the affidavits for these types of documents are used to show that the original copies are not available, but the attached CTC or TWIMC are true representations of what the original documents contain... e.g. The former VP, Sambo, swore an affidavit that he lost his original academic documents in a fire & supported that affidavit with letters from his institution which affirmed that he finished from that school, year of graduation, course & class of degree ... almost all information which the original certificate would contain.

I hope you can now see the reason why it would be better for PMB to simply get a CTC from Cambridge & attach to his affidavit & shame his doubters...

now, I don't know you, but let me assume you are old enough to work, & I tell you, no reputable organisation will take an affidavit of academic qualification from you without a CTC, TWIMC or other such supporting documents which contains critical information that would have been found on the original certificate.

if you can't understand what I have written, then I give up on you. chose what you want to believe.

Oh just shut it, you are going around in circles like a broken record player.

It is you who is neither well read nor capable of rational thought.
Why should Buhari dignify your silly request, when he has already represented his country at some of the highest levels possible?

Now moving on swiftly, the following points are directed at those who are still capable of elevated resonning:
(1) Buhari was already a sixth form student at the time he joined the Military.
Note: we are talking about someone who was already enrolled for the Higher School Certificate (HSC).

(2) That some reprobates have been indulging in their usual theatrics while trying to deflect attention from a record of poor performance in government, over a period of 16 years, does not negate Buhari's qualification to contest as he has been doing since 2003.

(3) The former registrar of WAEC who attested to Buhari's school certificate had no need to lie, when he made his views on the subject known.
Note: Alex Ajayi is a man who was already a distinguished school principal when he joined WAEC in 1960 - a point reflected in a book (published in 2010) where his relationship with Christopher Okigbo was described.

(4) Katsina College has already released a certified statement of results (which it did not have to) that clearly confirms Buhari fulfilled the requirements for a school leaving certificate. Again let me repeat that he was already a sixth form student when he enrolled in the army.

Buhari, in the affidavit, said “I am the above-named person and deponent to this affidavit therein. All my academic qualifications documents as filled in my presidential form, President APC/001/2015, are currently with the Secretary, Military Board, as of the time of presenting this affidavit.
