Foreign Affairs › Re: Joe Biden:u.s May Declare War Against Russia by Appleyard(m): 9:33pm On Jun 21, 2022 |
Missy89: The real question is, how would you rate Russia’s military performance??
Not a Biden fan but I have no problems with his Russia and China policy. Would love if he can raise the stakes by giving Ukraine more offensive weapons. What's wrong with Russia's military performance so far? You tell me. Whether you're a Biden's fan or not, doesn't change the fact he is one hell of a failure in the foreign policy front. Heck, even the Saudis gives him the middle finger, and why wouldn't they? After all, here is a president that shakes thin air after making a speech. Never has anyone seen such embarrassment in the history of American government. Old Joe can't even get baby formula for the US, and he had to pass through the backdoor to get Russia's fertilizers he once sanctioned. I wonder how much stakes are left that he can raise with Ukraine against Russia. Deal with it, he is a failure. |

Missy89: Russia’s incompetent military will be swept aside quickly.
I don’t understand why everyone talks about nuclear weapons as if Russia is the only country the has one.
I have been good. Working a lot more than I should That's good to hear. Work is a necessity this days. Incompetency? How would you describe the Biden-led US government and it's flawed foreign policy? Be honest. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Is Doing Better, Russia Or The West? by Appleyard(m): 2:02pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
bn365: Biden, from one end of his mouth, refers to inflation and high costs of gas and food as pain people have to endure as they gradually whine the country off fossil fuel. On the other end of his mouth, he calls it 'Putin price hikes'.
He campaigned on shutting down Fossil fuels. His first actions were series of executive actions aimed at stopping oil exploration. He seems to be making good on that promise but when he's asked if that is what is going on? He says no, blame Putin. Honest, is confusing how these leaders thinks and act. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Is Doing Better, Russia Or The West? by Appleyard(m): 12:46pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
bn365: Somehow, looking at the actions of these govts., it seems their actions are deliberate. Controlled demolition of nation-states, to usher in something new in the ashes of the old system? As much as I hate to admit it, you sound logically correct. How on Earth would a leader of a country deliberately set in motions a chain of events that gradually erode it's country's economic potentials just to massage the oversize ego of one hegemon? It's baffling. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Is Doing Better, Russia Or The West? by Appleyard(m): 12:42pm On Jun 17, 2022 |
seunny4lif: Gas price have hit over €1300 now and if it hit around €2K, German automobiles companies will cut off staff and same with the chemical manufacturing companies Russia is gradually turning the screws at every turn. Gazprom had reduced gas supply to Germany and Italy by 35 percent, citing maintenance problem on the pipelines, which they alleged is due to the Sanctions on Russia. But Italy and Germany said it's a lie; a political move by Russia weaponizing gas. I sometimes wonder whether these EU leaders are kids. You weaponized your financial institutions - which are your products - in a bid to screw the economic prowess of the hand that feeds you. And when that hand now withdraws albeit a little from feeding you, you come out and cry foul. Who does that? |

Neither of them is faring any better
The rouble is holding up against the dollar but Russia cannot do business in dollar.so it will affect nothing like a sky rocking inflation that is hitting both Russia and the west.
As long as inflation in both Russia and the west is running up and up. Both economies will be pushed to ...... Which is a traditional outcome of prolong war Inflation is actually slowing down in Russia but increasing in the west. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Ukraine: Russia Could Further Devastate US, EU Economy With Ban On Uranium, Othe by Appleyard(m): 1:56pm On Jun 15, 2022 |
Jimasun: Too much ignorance in one post. 1. You need enriched Uranium to produce electricity with uranium - Russia holds 46% of the world's capacity. 2. Many European and even American nuclear plants depends on Russian technology. All Russia need to do is stop spare parts from reaching them. 3. Russia produces its own microchip enough for military use. But imports most of its need for civilian use. 4. However, without Russia, most microchip producers can't produce because Russia controls over 40% of neon gas (a very important material needed for chip production.) With its capture of Mariupol and impending capture of Odessa, Russia would control over 80% of neon gas worldwide and that's absolutely going to wreck havoc if Russia decides to withhold neon gas. Price of neon gas has already risen by over 1000% since beginning of the war.
The world need Russia, it is too big a country to be ignored I wanted to write most of what you just wrote but seeing you have done a great service of educating the ignorant minds here, I will just rest my case. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Russian Forces Cut Off Last Routes Out Of Eastern Ukraine City by Appleyard(m): 5:16pm On Jun 14, 2022 |
richeeyo: This might look like Russians are winning but in reality they fighting a lazy war, they are only taking over places that share boarder with Russia, with help of shelling from inside Russia Their foot soldiers are useless though Any time dey advance The loose a General You don't have to blame them that much the Russians made mistakes in the early hours of the conflict but they have adjusted and corrected most of that. Understand that this is a highly tactical and strategic conflict at play here. The Yankees are in it not just to weaken Russia as they have said openly, but to learn and test Russia's fighting prowess, capabilities and technology. The Russians are trying so much not to give all of that away. This is a country waging war against the whole of NATO who are guiding and supplying real-time Intel to the Ukrainians. The Donbass and Luhansk region share borders with Russia and that's the primary line of engagement for the Russians. I hope this war will stop soon. While both sides have lost considerable amount of men, the message is clear and loud enough to the collective west that Russia is too big and too strong and capable to be intimidated economically and militarily. |

In a nutshell, it's a classic case of failed American sanctions. Except China all top 8 importers of fossil fuels are either EU members or USA allies. EU and allies lecturing the world against buying Russia fossil fuels, are the biggest importers of it. Bigots & hypocrites! EU and hypocrisy are like five and six. |

NASA paid the company in US dollars and do not have interest of how the Private company decided to pay to Russia to secure seats. You made it seem as if NASA paid directly to Russia. There is no need quarrelling over this. The point is that a US company paid for space transport on Russia's flight, and the payment was in Rubles, not in Dollars. That settles it. |

Landlocked countries which would naturally be LGA/states in Nigeria or Russia sanctioning their father who feeds and provides them with everything that they need to survive on a daily.
It is obvious that most of these European leaders are naive and too young to understand what Russia truly is..this is yet one disadvantage of electing inexperienced youngies to power. The older folks wouldn't have been this stupid to bite the finger constantly feeding their greed and consumption.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Zelenskyy says Russia Suffers 32,050 Dead soldiers in combat since war started by Appleyard(m): 10:50am On Jun 12, 2022 |
A shameless mentally derange ediotic comedian playing deadly politics with the destiny and lives of his people and country. This is the kind of leader no nation prays to have.
The cocaine addicted psycho leader was quick to give Russian forces losses in 'exact' numbers, not even an estimate. Yet, he is unable to provide figures for Ukrainian dead soldiers.
If Russia has lost 32,000 soldiers, it's common sense that Ukraine has lost 5 times that amount. In Mariupol alone, the Azov brigade and additional units were made up of about 14,000 men. About 3000 surrendered later, and the rest were completely wiped out. Now, take into consideration the rest of Ukrainian deaths in other cities and villages and you will understand the collosal losses this man has caused Ukraine to suffer.
Ukriane has already conscripted the country for the 5th time, which means he has already lost about a third of the country's 700,000 regular strong army. You wouldn't be mobilizing for the fifth time if you are not losing men like mad.
The Hungarian foreign minister and Paliament leader were right when they said that Zelensky has a mental problem. It's obvious when you watch his telecast and choice of words and commanding demands. Which beggar seeking for help insults his would be helper and threatens them? This man is crazy. No wonder many Ukrainian soldiers are.now refusing to fight anymore. The guy is a mad case walking.
