It was inhabited earlier by the Greeks, then the Ottomans conquered it before the Russian captured it from the Ottomans in the 1700s by -guess who - Peter the Great's daughter .. So u can see that both Catherine and Putin sought to continue Peter the Great legacy by continuously grabbing lands

In the old Russian empire, Finland was part of it until 1917

From MacDonalds, Ikea, Zara, and Apple, just name it. ~Imagine all the billion USD industries controlled by foreigners in Nigeria suddenly becomes open for Nigerians to dominate. Poverty will be eliminated in a year.

6. The war also reduced the trust of the US in the international arena. Now Taiwan is convinced that the US will not come to its aid if China decided to claim its territory back. The international community has lost faith in the US, and Taiwan will be the nail in the coffin because the US will only supply weapons and not help. If you think Russia is tough, then go read the history of the Chinese. Russians are like wolves compare to the Chinese. China being patient is not cowardice, but strength.

7. For the first time since Bretton woods, the non-Western world has finally united to create a just international system that is fair and just to all. The USD is under threat of losing its reserve currency status, and trades are being conducted in Euro Asia in local currencies. The global center of the economy has moved to the East just in case you didn't notice. The new ''abroad'' is not the west anymore, but it is China. If you want to make big money, go to China.

8. The west has proved to the world that all the grammars of the right to personal properties, judging individuals, not by their nationality, sex, race, etc, rule of law, democracy, etc are false. Or else how can you explain the punishment average Russians received even if they have no influence on what Putin does? Why should Chelsea owner Ibrahimovich be sanctioned? even Russian trees, cats, and legends like Dostoyevsky that have died centuries ago were sanctioned. The west simply killed the trust others have in them.

This war is a great reset for Russia, to build from scratch without dependence on the western system and grow organically, just like what China did when it was completely embargoed by the whole west for at least thirty years. What Russia is passing through today in the name of sanctions, China passed through worse, when it was poorer than Pakistan. But China builds and relies on itself, now, look at China. China (and hopefully Russia) is the only country that is sanction-proof, that the west can do nothing to. And if China dares sanction the US, there will be a riot tomorrow.

If one listens to alternative media, all of these will be clear to see as daylight. But if your only source of news is CNN, then I am sorry for you, you are being propagandized, brainwashed, and indoctrinated.

In this Russian Ukrainian conflicts have I seen tanks being wracked to scraps. NATO cannot sustain such war. Look at what is happening to Ukraine. USA has started their lands lease Ukraine is losing. They have given Ukraine over 60billlion dollars, Ukraine is losing, EU keep donating weapons Ukraine is losing. Over 150billion USA dollars NATO and EU plus Japan, south Korea, Australia, new Zealand have poured into Ukraine still Ukraine is losing with NATO commanders and instructor's plus NATO macenaries. Ukraine is still loosing.
