Damn! is this interview real? Did Putin say all those? Please can you provide me with the link.
Thanks
Yeah! its real. But know that you wont find it in most of the western main stream media. And even if you do, it wont be on the original format. Cause it doesnt suit thier purpose, just as they did his Vaida's speech.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Coup Plot In Venezuela Thwarted by Appleyard(m): 11:38am On Feb 13, 2015
US sponsored coup and 'colour revolutions' is becoming more apparent accross the globe.
It is a rapid quest to save the Empire from inevitable collaps.
Thier diabolic schemes which had been in operations for ages, is finally coming to a gradual but destructive end,. Hence, the desperation to keep the same schemes afloat.

What was, and is the scheme all about? Well, it was nothing order than ensuring the status of the Dollar as the major medium of global exchange because, it is by it that the empire's ruling cabals/elites and thier Multinational coporations, thrives. It is through it the cabal's Anglo-Zionists Empire gangsters Bankers contols the financial bases of the world. It is through it they are able to impoverish nations, impose sanctions on those leaders and nations that would not 'play ball'. It is by it they sponsored 'colour revolutions', assassinate oppositions, bought and paid for the truth (the media), created and stiil creating, arned and aided terrorism (Al qaida/ISIS), and above all, create 'false realities' through 'false flag' operations and then 'act' as the 'messiah' that saves or will save the sitiation. E.g, 9/11, MH17, etc, etc.

The Dollar is the power base of the elites,. And so, they will fight any nation that dares go against the Dollar, for which case Venezuela 'must burn', being a member among some of the Nations that have entered the de-Dollarization mode. Chavez started it and will knew what he went through.
Now President Maduro is going along with the same policy, and so, he must be 'fried'!

Saddam Hussein dares it, and he and his Iraq ended up paying rhier life, and they are still paying till now. Gadafi rose against it, and the 'colour revolution'that took him, was swifter that anything that he would ever had anticipated.

Today, Agentina is in soup, Paraguay is unstable,, Brazil is confused, Syria is bleeding, Angola is watching over its shoulders, and Nigeria is suffocating, RUSSIA IS PRACTICALLY AT WAR, and China must expect its own dossage of the Empire's vengeance through HongKong.

Such is the nature of what it takes to stand up against the Empire.

It is either you bend or you break. Otherwise, you must prevail at a very high cost.

JOHN SIMPSON, BBC: Western countries almost universally now believe that there’s a new Cold War and that you, frankly, have decided to create that. We see, almost daily, Russian aircraft taking sometimes quite dangerous manoeuvres towards western airspace. That must be done on your orders; you’re the Commander-in-Chief. It must have been your orders that sent Russian troops into the territory of a sovereign country – Crimea first, and then whatever it is that’s going on in Eastern Ukraine. Now you’ve got a big problem with the currency of Russia, and you’re going to need help and support and understanding from outside countries, particularly from the West. So can I say to you, can I ask you now, would you care to take this opportunity to say to people from the West that you have no desire to carry on with the new Cold War, and that you will do whatever you can to sort out the problems in Ukraine? Thank you!

VLADIMIR PUTIN: Thank you very much for your question. About our exercises, manoeuvres and the development of our armed forces. You said that Russia, to a certain extent, contributed to the tension that we are now seeing in the world. Russia did contribute but only insofar as it is more and more firmly protecting its national interests. We are not attacking in the political sense of the word. We are not attacking anyone. We are only protecting our interests. Our Western partners – and especially our US partners – are displeased with us for doing exactly that, not because we are allowing security-related activity that provokes tension.
Let me explain. You are talking about our aircraft, including strategic aviation operations. Do you know that in the early 1990s, Russia completely stopped strategic aviation flights in remote surveillance areas as the Soviet Union previously did? We completely stopped, while flights of US strategic aircraft carrying nuclear weapons continued. Why? Against whom? Who was threatened?
So we didn’t make flights for many years and only a couple of years ago we resumed them. So are we really the ones doing the provoking?
In fact, we only have two bases outside Russia, and both are in areas where terrorist activity is high. One is in Kyrgyzstan, and was deployed there upon request of the Kyrgyz authorities, President Akayev, after it was raided by Afghan militants. The other is in Tajikistan, which also borders on Afghanistan. I would guess you are interested in peace and stability there too. Our presence is justified and clearly understandable.
Now, US bases are scattered around the globe – and you’re telling me Russia is behaving aggressively? Do you have any common sense at all? What are US armed forces doing in Europe, also with tactical nuclear weapons? What are they doing there?
Listen, Russia has increased its military spending for 2015, if I am not mistaken, it is around 50 billion in dollar equivalent. The Pentagon’s budget is ten times that amount, $575 billion, I think, recently approved by the Congress. And you’re telling me we are pursuing an aggressive policy? Is there any common sense in this?
Are we moving our forces to the borders of the United States or other countries? Who is moving NATO bases and other military infrastructure towards us? We aren’t. Is anyone listening to us? Is anyone engaging in some dialogue with us about it? No. No dialogue at all. All we hear is “that’s none of your business. Every country has the right to choose its way to ensure its own security.” All right, but we have the right to do so too. Why can’t we?
Finally, the ABM system – something I mentioned in my Address to the Federal Assembly. Who was it that withdrew unilaterally from the ABM Treaty, one of the cornerstones of the global security system? Was it Russia? No, it wasn’t. The United States did this, unilaterally. They are creating threats for us, they are deploying their strategic missile defence components not just in Alaska, but in Europe as well – in Romania and Poland, very close to us. And you’re telling me we are pursuing an aggressive policy?
If the question is whether we want law-based relations, the answer is yes, but only if our national economic and security interests are absolutely respected.
We negotiated WTO accession for 19 years or so, and consented to compromise on many issues, assuming that we are concluding cast-iron agreements. And then… I will not discuss who’s right and who’s wrong (I already said on many occasions that I believe Russia behaved the right way in the Ukrainian crisis, and the West was wrong, but let us put this aside for now). Still, we joined the WTO. That organisation has rules. And yet, sanctions were imposed on Russia in violation of the WTO rules, the international law and the UN Charter – again unilaterally and illegitimately. Are we in the wrong again?
We want to develop normal relations in the security sphere, in fighting terrorism. We will work together on nuclear non-proliferation, on other threats, and diseases such as Ebola.

Blood of Goat!

We have known for sometime now that the ukrainian crisis is a handwork of the elites. The cabal that controls the financial system, the Oil market and so on.. But what this article has revealed is simply shocking and overwhelming.

The fact that thier defeat is inevitable, doesnt mean they will go down without a fight. Infact, it is now that the real face of this evil will show forth.
It is worrysome because, they are very connected and strong. They are spread accross virtually every sphere of governmental and social life.
They are in the military, in ministries and parastatals, in agencies, and so on. They even control most human basic needs, such as agriculral products, foods, clothings, medicine, cars, and so on..
They sit in legislative chambers, and so can make laws that suits thier purposes.
They have all it takes to keep this fight going. And i will not be surprise if another major false flag event occurs.

Lets wait and see.

fydence:
Question: Do u personally think Russia would win a war against Nato? If yes, how do u think russia would go about achieving this?
Honestly, i cant unilaterally declare yes or no. But one thing we must understand is that, any war between Russian and NATO is more or less, war between the US and Russia. And i can bet you, such a war will never be conventional. Hence, that aspect is effectively a 'dead end'.

Thus the main focus is 'Nuclear holocaust'.

Now, there are reasons why some believe that in the event of such a war, Russia will prevail. While some others believe that the US/NATO will prevail.

Lets look at them indeptly by following the links below. I just dont have the time to type pls.

you can ascertain for yourself and draw your own conclusion.

Stay well.
But as far as i am concerned, nobody will win a nuclear war. And there can never be any conventional war between the US and Russia.

Missy89:
Well, One thing you should know is that whatever happens should the US sent lethal aid to Ukraine, I dont think NATO would intervene if Russia choose to Invade.

It looks more like a good cop bad cop right now. EU is trying to get a deal, US is threatening from afar. This is just to make sure that Russia guarantees a deal and end the conflict. I dont think Obama will be crazy enough to send weapons because it is already clear that the Russians will not allow the separatists to be defeated militarily. They had to intervene when The Ukrainian forces were having the upper hand last year.

The only thing that can save Ukraine now is federalization for all the regions and a demilitarized zone in the conflict area guaranteed the OSCE and the UN.
True words, my dear. I just hope all plays out the way you have analized them. The thing that is of concern to me now is that, the throlls in the white house seemed to have lost every sense of reason and belonging.
If Obama, likle you said ,would not be that crazy to send weapons, what is the guarantee that the sick legislature house with the likes of MCcain wont push for such, and even override the president veto?

Not to mention that Obama is likely been misinformed, or so?

Yes, the EU is trying to get a deal. But can the likes of Merkel and Hollande totally free themselves and the EU from the 'zombification' by the US? Would they be able to mentain thier stance? Because the way i see it, any US actions and inactions will largely depend on the resolute or loose nature of the EU in this regard.

As for federalization, this is something that have long been proposed to the Ukie Junta. But they aare still hell bent on ensuring the defeat of the East. Does this help the sitiation at all?

Well, lets hope like you have pointed out, and thatthe revere shall be the case, and a solution is reached within a short while.

Thanks.

castrogee: For me this Ukraine matter is just a mere distraction... I've looked at all the options that there are, I'm convinced beyond doubt that there's nothing that's gonna come out of this. The simple solution to all these, as someone already mentioned, is to allow Russia to go with Crimea forever, and then get Donbass federalized. Period! End of story!

I keep wondering why America has refused to learn from its own mistakes. They made a similar move (mistake) two years ago, when the nutter McCain was calling for the arming of the 'moderate it was the arming of the rebels that off- springed (sic) ISIS, and America seemed not to understand that there actions on this have a reverse negative effect. When Obama started his 'senseless' air strikes on ISIS last year, I heard so many world leaders and opinion writers rejected such actions, and claiming it will have zero effect, if anything it will balloon the crises. They (analysts and opinion writers including some world leaders) were campaigning for some sort of cooperation between America and Assad, even pushing for America to consider putting 'boots on ground'. infact a particular guy on nairaland shymex was very passionate about his disapproval of Obama's action, today we all know better. I thnk something is getting wrong with the White House foreign policies, and believe me with Russia they have chosen the wrong battle. Only time will tell!

Stay safe.
May God bless you for your insightful analysis.

Yes, it is true that even if the yankees send the most latent weapons of war to the Junta forces, they still can not win anything. Like i said before now, the Ukie army is not better than the Nigerian Police Force. The difference only being in armament and uniforms. Otherwise, the way a Nigerian Policeman would run away from the gun shot-sound of a robber, so also the Ukie armies will.
As will are communicating now, thousands of them are currently been encicled and trapped in a cauldron in Debaltsevo. There is no moral. Infact, the Ukies have no real standing army. What we have yonder are mostly bunches of conscripts and inexperienced men that are not willing to die for anything.

But still, the real danger such a move by the US will pose, is the 'unpredictable' Russian line of reaction. Yes, we can say, they may intervene overtly, or better still, march on straights at kiev. But what worries me the most is that, Russia might not (and according to thier new military doctrine) does not see the Ukraine as the 'immediate' or 'main' threat. Hence, the Russians might just 'act' disproportionally'. Russia cant be predicted. The worst is, they dont make threats, or rarely do. They just act! This is why am so worried, dear brethren.

The way we are interpretating the chain of events and thier possible aftermaths, may not be the same way the Kremlin interpretes them.

If the UK airforce is echoeing it, if the well known hard-on-Russian Merkel, together with Hollande, are suddenly practically 'running' to Moskow, when they simply could have conversed via the phone, then we should understand that the circumstances surrounding the issue on weapon delivery and the consequences that may possibly follow thereafter, is of 'grave concern', expecially to them that are in the position to understand better.

The claim now that Russia had deployed tactical nukes, underscores the seriousness of this issue.

We must not forget how great powers are very sensitive to thier immediate environment. Remember the Cuba missile issue?

Now, you mentioned the US Foreign Policy (FP). My brother, what FP? The one you and i wrote for them?
The US doesnt have an 'actual' FP. They stopped having a people minded FP after the assassination of Kenedy. What is today seen as US FP is nothing but the wishes and directives of the cabal/shadow government/elites that own THE MULTI-NATONAL COPORATIONS (MNCs).
The US FP is a reverse of the meaning of democracy.
Thus, the US FP is the 'national interest'
'' of the MNCs, for the MNCs, and by the MNCs''.

It is meant for the actualization and realizations of the objectives and goals of the cabalic 1%ters. The rest of the 99 can 'go and die' for whatever. Afterall, they are 'low lives', per John MCcain.

The US FP is written and diected by the MNCs

This mean that once the MNCs becomes interested and is involved in any place, the puppet US government is brought in to ensure the realization of such interest. That is the Foreign Policy.
That is why the Ukrainian issue wont go overnight. Not when the Bidens, Nulands, and the Kerry's Sons and cronies are involved in the Gas sectors.

Thats why you are having what is at play in Syria that refused to play the pipeline policies of the US elites, Saudis and Qatar.

That was why Saddam and Iraq have to burn, Gadafi and Libya must make way for the theft going on there now.
Just name them. That is your US FP.

But like you said, they have chosen the wrong one this time.

....in continuation....

This statement is further validated by an interview given in June of 2013 by Colonel Abdel Basset Al-Tawil, commander of the FSA's Northern Front. In this interview he openly discusses his ties with Al-Nusra, and expresses his desire to see Syria ruled by sharia law. (You can verify the identities of these two commanders here in this documentfrom The Institute for the Study of War)

Moderate rebels? Well it's complicated. Not that this should really come as any surprise. Reuters had reported in 2012 that the FSA's command was dominated by Islamic extremists, and the New York Times had reported that same yearthat the majority of the weapons that Washington were sending into Syria was ending up in the hands Jihadists. For two years the U.S. government knew that this was happening, but they kept doing it.
And the FSA's ties to Al-Nusra are just the beginning. In June of 2014 Al-Nusra merged with ISIS at the border between Iraq and Syria.

So to review, the FSA is working with Al-Nusra, Al-Nusra is working with ISIS, and the U.S. has been sending money and weapons to the FSA even though they've known since 2012 that most of these weapons were ending up in the hands of extremists.

You do the math.

Retired Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney admits:

“We Helped Build ISIS”: and in Syria, we backed I believe, in some cases some of the wrong people and not in the right part of the Free Syrian Army (FSA)''

In that context, the sarin gas attacks of 2013 which turned out to have been committed by the Syrian rebels, makes a lot more sense doesn't it? If it wasn't enough that U.N. investigators, Russian investigators, and Pulitzer prize winning journalist Seymour Hershall pinned that crime on Washington's proxies, the rebels themselves threatened the West that they would expose what really happened if they were not given more advanced weaponry within one month.
By the way, this also explains why Washington then decided to target Russia next.

This threat was made on June 10th, 2013. In what can only be described as an amazing coincidence, just nine days later, the rebels received their first official shipment of heavy weapons in Aleppo.
After the second sarin gas fiasco, which was also exposed and therefore failed to garner public support for airstrikes, the U.S. continued to increase its training and support for the rebels.

In February of 2014, Haaretz reported that the U.S. and its allies in the region, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel, were in the process of helping the Syrian rebels plan and prepare for a massive attack in the south. According to Haaretz Israel had also provided direct assistance in military operations against Assad four months before.

Then in May of 2014 PBS ran a reporti n which they interviewed rebels who were trained by the U.S. in Qatar. According to those rebels they were being trained to finish off soldiers who survived attacks.
"They trained us to ambush regime or enemy vehicles and cut off the road,” said the fighter, who is identified only as "Hussein." "They also trained us on how to attack a vehicle, raid it, retrieve information or weapons and munitions, and how to finish off soldiers still alive after an ambush."

This is a violation of the Geneva convention and Laws of Military strategy.

But they dont give a dime!

One month after this report, in June of 2014, ISIS made its dramatic entry, crossing over the Syrian border into Iraq, capturing Mosul, Baiji and almost reaching Baghdad. The internet was suddenly flooded with footage of drive by shootings, large scale death marches, and mass graves. And of course any Iraqi soldier that was captured was executed.
Massive quantities of American military equipment were seized during that operation. ISIS took entire truckloads of humvees, they took helicopters, tanks, and artillery. They photographed and video taped themselves and advertised what they were doing on social media, and yet for some reason Washington didn't even TRY to stop them.
U.S. military doctrine clearly calls for the destruction of military equipment and supplies when friendly forces cannot prevent them from falling into enemy hands, but that didn't happen here. ISIS was allowed to carry this equipment out of Iraq and into Syria unimpeded. The U.S. military had the means to strike these convoys, but they didn't lift a finger, even though they had been launching drone strikes in Pakistan that same week.
Why would they do that?
Though Obama plays the role of a weak, indecisive, liberal president, and while pundits from the right have had a lot of fun with that image, this is just a facade. Some presidents, like George W. Bush, rely primarily on overt military aggression. Obama gets the same job done, but he prefers covert means. Not really surprising considering the fact that Zbigniew Brzezinski was his mentor.

It is now crystal clear.. The US is in charge of the ISIS.
Foreign Affairs › Re: The Covert Origins Of ISIS by Appleyard(m): 11:11am On Feb 12, 2015
Indeed its a covert rise.

The Islamic militant group ISIS,
formerly known as Al-Qaeda in Iraq, and rebranded as the so called Islamic State, are the most ruthless, fanatical, killers, on a mission, and that mission is to wipe out anyone and everyone, from any religion or belief system and to impose Shari'ah law. The mass executions, beheadings and even crucifixions that they are committing as they work towards this goal are flaunted like badges of pride, video taped and uploaded for the whole world to see. This is the new face of evil.

Now, we all know who helped these psychopaths rise to power, who armed them, funded them and trained them. And why?

This story makes more sense if we start in the middle, so we'll begin with the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
The Libyan revolution was Obama's first major foreign intervention. It was portrayed as an extension of the Arab Spring, and NATO involvement was framed in humanitarian terms.
The fact that the CIA was actively working to help the Libyan rebels topple Gaddafiwas no secret, nor were the airstrikes that Obama ordered against the Libyan government. However, little was said about the identity or the ideological leanings of these Libyan rebels. Not surprising, considering the fact that the leader of the Libyan rebels later admitted that his fighters included Al-Qaeda linked jihadistswho fought against allied troops in Iraq.
These jihadist militants from Iraq were part of what national security analysts commonly referred to as Al-Qaeda in Iraq. Remember Al-Qaeda in Iraq was ISIS before it was rebranded.
With the assistance of U.S. and NATO intelligence and air support, the Libyan rebels captured Gaddafi and summarily executed him in the street, all the while enthusiastically chanting "Allah Akbar".
For many of those who had bought the official line about how these rebels were freedom fighters aiming to establish a liberal democracy in Libya, this was the beginning of the end of their illusions.

Prior to the U.S. and NATO backed intervention, Libya had the highest standard of living of any country in Africa. This according to the U.N.'s Human Development Index rankings for 2010.However in the years following the coup, the country descended into chaos, with extremism and violence running rampant.Libya is now widely regarded as failed state(of course those who were naive enough to buy into the propaganda leading up to the war get defensive when this is said).

Now after Gaddafi was overthrown, the Libyan armories were looted, and massive quantities of weapons were sent by the Libyan rebels to Syria. The weapons, which included anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles were smuggled into Syria through Turkey, a NATO ally. The times of London reported on the arrival of the shipmenton September 14th, 2012. (Secondary confirmation in this NYT article) This was just three days after Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed by the attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi. Chris Stevens had served as the U.S. government's liaison to the Libyan rebels since April of 2011.
While a great deal media attention has focused on the fact that the State Department did not provide adequate security at the consulate, and was slow to send assistance when the attack started, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh released an article in April of 2014which exposed a classified agreement between the CIA, Turkey and the Syrian rebels to create what was referred to as a "rat line". The "rat line" was covert network used to channel weapons and ammunition from Libya, through southern turkey and across the Syrian border. Funding was provided by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

With Stevens dead any direct U.S. involvement in that arms shipmentwas buried, and Washington would continue to claim that they had not sent heavy weaponry into Syria.
It was at this time that jihadist fighters from Libya began flooding into Syriaas well. And not just low level militants. Many were experienced commanders who had fought in multiple theaters.

The U.S. and its allies were now fully focused on taking down Assad's government in Syria. As in Libya this regime change was to be framed in terms of human rights, and now overt support began to supplement the backdoor channels. The growing jihadist presence was swept under the rug and covered up.
However as the rebels gained strength, the reports of war crimesand atrocities that they were committing began to create a bit of a public relations problem for Washington. It then became standard policy to insist that U.S. support was only being given to what they referred to as "moderate" rebel forces.
This distinction, however, had no basis in reality.

In an interview given in April of 2014, FSA commander Jamal Maarouf admitted that his fighters regularly conduct joint operations with Al-Nusra.Al-Nusra is the official Al-Qa’ida branch in Syria.

...to be continue..
Foreign Affairs › Re: Is Peace Or War At Hand? — Paul Craig Roberts by Appleyard(m): 1:05am On Feb 12, 2015
The major problem with the US is that it is use to issueing orders and ultimatums to others. Hence, it is finding it difficult to come to the reality that, you can not issue orders to a nation like Russia and expect to have it smooth sailing.

Honestly, i feel sorry for the US in terms of the people, because, there is no real government in place. What we have there is a 'shadow government', a 'cabal-elite' that has hijacked the democratic system of the people. its been there for ages now, but never has it drag the nation to the level of fear, horror and total anihilation that can possibly bear down on the innocent ones, as it is today.

The most painful thing is that, the majority of the people don't even know it.

The late John F Kenedy made reference to this same occultic groups that 'there are some people trying to control his government'. It was his refusal and resistance that led to his death.

On the issue of peace.

Now, you can not talk of peace without first understanding the dynamics that is at play in the Ukrain saga. I would say that, after the time of Kenedy, the US ceased having 'a people minded president' or leaders. The 'dark knights'(elites) ensured that whomever is to come, is someone that must play ball, if such an one is not 'directly' from them.
And this was made more praticable because of the US electoral system (the use of electoral college and two party system), which provides room for systematic control, blackmail and witch hunting .(little wonder while NSA is very important?)

It is the elites, the 1%ters that pulls the strings.

If you ask an American diplomat on what is the US foreign policy, dont be surprise that he may not be able to give you a straight answer. This is because, the US foreign policy is written and determine by the Multinational Coporations (MNCs), not the 'actual' goverment. Since most of such MNCs are own by the 'cabals', therefore, it can only be expected that the nature and directives of such foreign policies are 'of the cabals, by the cabals, and for the cabals'.

That is why people like John MCain refers to protesters as 'low lives'. Since they dont belong, they are low lives.
That is why just two months before the February’s coup d état, U.S. Vice President Joe Biden traveled to Ukraine. He met with the chief Rabbi and other top Jews and made arrangements with Burisma, aligning that gas enterprise with the American oil and gas industries. And of course, immediately after the coup, His son, Hunter Biden, is made a Board member.
Another American, Devon Archer, was also promoted to the board. Who is Archer? Well Devon Archer and Hunter Biden are business cronies. Together with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s stepson, Chris Heinz, they own a mysterious private equity firm called “Rosemart Seneca Partners.”

What this mean is that Rockefeller and Rothschild and their energy pals are “in,” and Russia and Putin are “out.”
Of course, when Biden and Kerry’s sons go into Ukraine, where they don’t even know the language, and “assume supervision” of Burisma, you know that the fix is in.
People dont just spend 5billion dollars for nothing. Even father Christmas is not that generous. There must be a recoup-Profit. driven by greed and world domination, the environment (fracking of oil) and the people (bombing of civilians), does not count in the eyes of these 'dark angels'.
Profit maximazation is the order of the day.

At the U.S. State Department, Vicki Nuland, the powerful Jew who heads the Ukrainian desk, is dictating to the Ukraine which of the Jewish oligarchs are favored by the Jewish American and Israeli big-wigs. And, sleazy men like Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, and their U.S. sidekick, Chris Heinz, are raking in the big bucks as directors for a crooked Ukrainian energy firm. War really is a racket.

And as far as these maniacs are on the driven seat, controlling and using State resources and powers, have been able to 'zombified' the majority of the people, are in control of the Mass media, and as long as thier personal and family well being are not threatened in any form, they are in charge and as such, peace is, but a fleeting illusion.

Even if Obama is not a 'direct son of the crew', nor a conplete puppet, he still maynot be able to do much because, he is not actually in total control. He will only act on whatever is brought before him, and you can immagine what the likes of Nuland, Hagel, NSA,CIA, etc, are telling him or bringing him, after 'good editing', or based on outright lies. And even if he doesnt want to arm the Junta army knowing what that might lead to, does he realy have the will power to stand against the legislature that has given the go-ahead, or the dark nights pulling the strings from within?

Base on these, i think peace is still very far ahead.. Not until the elites are personaly threatened.

Time will tell..

I think USA supplying Kiev with lethal weapons will be a great mistake. However, thankfully a lot of European nations including Germany and France are against the move. I beleive the U.S. govt will backtrack.
Honestly, i just hope so. But does the Satanists think the same way you and i thinks? Do they see things the way sane people like us see them?
Even Bush is a saint compare to these present Empire Leaders.

Yes! I remember during the Georgian/US-NATO/RUSSIA crisis, at a meeting held somewhere in Europe, formal President Bush called the then Georgian Leader, Sakaavili, to a corner and categorically told him '' dont provoke Russia'. Well, we all knew what later happened. But that is a story for another topic. The point am trying to make is that, even as stubborn and satanic the Bush administration appears to be, it nevertheless, knew its limits and heights it can go, when face with certain realities.

The US is not known to ever backed down, especially when pressed. They are used to having thier way throughout the world, and so, may just go all the way, since the Empire is not used to 'loosing faces'. Rather, they are addicted to giving ultimatums and orders to other nations, which are readily obeyed, by fire or by force.
And it is the same script, but by far more dangerous one, this Obama administration is currently playing.

Russia is not 'a sit and watch' nation nor an inferior that you simply can push about. But that is exactly what the US thinks. The Russian economy is weak, it can be hurt, and is hurting. But such has only increased the resolve of Russia and even unite the people the more in support for thier leader, Putin. Russians are hard people used to hard times. Check thier history and you will understand. But the likes of Obama dont understand this, and so they will do much more to 'pressure' Putin, hence, the likelihood that they will deliver arms to the Ukrainian. And once that happens, many will later undertsand what it takes to corner a bear. But it just might be little too late. Cause, if you are the spiritual type, the following link should give you the creeps and open your understanding as to why Obama may not backed down..

http://www.alamongordo.com/barack-obama-prophecies/

Yes, like you rightly mentioned, some of the EU nations are now waking up to the reality of what will, in no doubt, follow. But the real problem is, the US may not care, and so could just go ahead with its plans.

This is why am so skeptical in believing the US will backtrack..

Well, lets hope all goes well at the end.

Hahahahaha..

The United State of Satan (oh sorry, America) is at it again.

Once it is becoming clear that they are loosing a fight, they step up the usual rhetorics and psyop nonsense talks and excuses.

Now that we have gotten some of the needed armaments and the terrorists are now taking serious beating, the US wants us to believe that they have been doing the much needed thing in fighting the boko haram menace, when actually everything they have done is to ensure that Nigeria is handicapped and unable to conquer the insurgents.

It is amazing and equally shameful to hear the US talking about the ability of Nigeria to mentain the needed equipments and infos, that they may 'likely' fall into the hands of Boko Haram, when themselves are 'knowingly' supplying and funding terrorists-so-called 'moderate rebels' in Syria, the majority of which upon recieving such weapons, thereafter massively decamp to the ISIS.

Yet, they go around talking nonesense about others.

The level of US hypocrisy at times is overwhelming!

Yes, the current Federal Government has alot of defects in certain areas when it comes to governance. But when it comes to dealing with the USA, i would give them a score card of 70/100 (70, because they are yet to fully understand and realize that the US is no friend).

Nigeria had simply refused to be bullied and control by the hegemon, hence thier wicked and inhuman attitude towards Nigeria.

Imagine the US accusing Nigerian army of indiscriminate use of weapons, as the reason they are not selling, and even blocking the ones we wanted to buy, when thier so called 'super power' military does nothing better than massively destroying civilian infrastructres, killing untold numbers of innocent women and children, in all the countries they have dubiously and satanically fought against.
From Nicaragua to Panama, from Vietnam to Serbia, etc, etc.
The horrors of the Empire in Vietnam is still being felt there till this day. Toxic munitions used to exterminate whole villages in that country, has left the government there spending billions to mitigate the effects.

Iraqis high rise buildings and many residential houses and surroundings that crumbles atop many children, women and the elderlies, are so heartbraking that you need all the courage to watch the clips on videos.

Yet they are talking as if they are 'the righteous ones'.

The US can go to hell and continue with thier 'torture programs' for all i care.

Nigeria didn't recieved the requested Ebola virus, but God helping us, we conquered it. This also will not be an exception.

Pathectic bunch of hypocrites.

If the US send lethal weapons to Ukraine, we might be close
That is true.
Even a formal Soviet leader is echoeing it in the following link:

http://www.valuewalk.com/2015/01/world-war-3-ukraine-crisis-nuclear-war/
and many more are begining to realize this possibe scenario.

Assuming the United States gives Ukraine military aid, diplomats are already warning this scenario could result in “total war,” or World War 3, and some even claim Vladimir Putin’s Russia would win the resulting conflict.

In a related report by the Inquisitor, the Russian military claims that Russia’s nuclear weapons were upgraded recently with new technology which supposedly makes U.S. missile defense system useless.
Members of the U.S. Congress also claim that Putin has stationed Russian nuclear weapons in Ukraine already, and may even use Crimea for an invasion.

England’s Ministry of Defense also believes a Russian bomber that was intercepted by RAF fighterswas carrying a tactical nuclear weapon designed to take out nuclear subs.

One could easily play down such claims and fears, but when you take into consideration the sudden rush to moscow by Merkel and Hollande, you should then understand the gravity of what is in motion... the 'war' reality that is now facing the whole of humanity.

Merkel is someone that speeaks Russian and Putim in turn speaks German. So they have, according to reports, spoken to each other more than 40 times over the Ukrainian issue, and never had Merkel gone to Moscow for anything.
But that recent unscheduled 'visit' by Her and Hollande to Moscow (for God knows what) added more grease to the growing fear that something terribly is lurking behind closed doors.
Dont forget that these are leaders of two nations with strong and capable intelligence bodies, and so are in the positions to perfectly understand what is coming.

The stakes are rapidly heating up.

Lamberto Zannier, secretary-general of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, told Reuter he was concerned that giving Ukraine military aid would only worsen the situation. The statement read thus,

“It may even lead down the line to more direct intervention of Russia in this conflict… Our objective remains that of de-escalating, so I think really the effort should continue to focus on that,” he said at the Munich Security Conference''.

Even France wasn't holding back.

During the peace talks last week, French President François Hollande claimed that France is a “friend” to Russia and opposes Ukraine joining NATO. He claims that giving Ukraine military aid could be a stepping stone toward World War 3. Hear his words:

“We have gone in the space of a few months from having differences, to conflict, to war … We are in a state of war, and a war that could be total,” Hollande warned according to Global Research. “I am sure I will be told there is a difference between defensive and offensive weapons, but that is a matter of semantics. Time is short, and it will not be said that France and Germany together (remember the rush to Moscow) did not try everything, attempt everything to preserve peace.”

Russian officials proclaimed that if the Obama administration give Ukraine military aid for a large-scale offensive, then the Russian army will intervene to prevent a “massacre” of the separatists. Such a scenario may result in the Ukraine war escalating to the point that tactical nuclear weapons are used.

According to The Guardian, Carl Bildt, the former Swedish foreign minister, echoed such concerns, claiming that arming Kiev could mean war between Russia and NATO allies, a war that Bildt believes Vladmir Putin would win.

Now, is anyone still doubting this? We need to wake up and pray hard.
It may not be immediate, but now the signs of the much talked about World War 3 are becoming obvious.

May God help us all..

Dont you worry, they will fail in their plans. They are not God. You didn't even mention it all. The same US refuse to give us the experimental Ebola drug, for no reason. But God came down and helped us. The moment Nigeria planned to de-dollarize, that was when the insurgency became very intense. The body language and attitude of the US towards Nigeria in recent times, shows that they are after the brake-up of Nigeria. During the Biafra war, they refuse to sell arms to the federal government, but they were covertly aiding the Biafrans, through the Notorious French mercenaries. It was the Russians that sold us arms during the war. This was the reason Gowon recently said that the GEJ led Federal Government should stop seeing the US as a friend, while narrating what the they did during the civil war.

The United State of Satan is in everywhere causing mayhem and death. Whom they cannot control, they remove through colour revolution, assassination, or total war, depending on the strength of the leader or country. eg,Gadafi and Libya, Saddam and Iraq, Assad and Syria, etc. where such fails, and the leader or country is powerful, them they manufactured black lies that can cause Satan Himself to be jealous, and then stage "false flag" operations in order to smear that leader or country. Then they bring in economic sanctions under the false pretext, so as to frustrate that leader and His country, to submit. This is exactly what is happening to Russia right now, using the Ukrain and the MH17 false flag, to smear the nation and its leader that refuse to dance to the satanic Hegemonic Empire.

But they have forgotten mother history.

No Empire had survived the consequences of its misdeed. From the Greecian Empire, The Egyptian Empire, The Alexedrian power, The Roman Empire, The Tcarist Soviet Empire, just name them. All paid for the various crimes they committed against humanity. None of them survived collaps.

The US led Anglo-Zionists Empire of torture and death will never be an exception. Now that you are seeing the empire rattling here and there, know that, its time of the fall is fast approaching. The irony is that, it knew that the collaps is inevitable. Hence, the panick mode they are in now, holding on to every remaining string of deception, war and confusiopn to survive.

It is from the East that the death of the last Empire is coming from. And what a death it would be.

A Nuclear death..

bookface:
The influence of global shocks on American economy is so minimal that it can be ignored - starting from Asian crises in 1997, Russia crises in 1998, European debt crises in 2009 etc.. America's economy is robust and diversified. While many countries are exposed to a shock in American economy, America by itself is relatively immune from a shock in other places.

You still don't get it! - There's no point going to war if victory can be achieved by sitting patiently at home while you watch your enemy implode.

In both militarily and economically, the US has huge advantages over Russia. So the US gets to choose the battle ground. If it chooses to respond militarily then there will be enormous costs - human cost, property & financial - to both sides. If it chooses to respond economically, the cost will be only to one side - Russia! The US has nothing to lose from this angle, Russia has much more to lose.

It is like fighting a pig - if you get down dirty with the pig, you will be soiled and you will stink at the end of the day - the best strategy is simply to let the pig starve.

LOL! That same route argument.

That route was opened - 8 years after NATO went into Afghanistan. If the US/NATO could survive 8 years without that route, i am pretty confident they can really do without it. Of course it will be inconvenient, but probably not the worst thing that can happen. Russia on the other hand will lose out of millions of dollars that is paid annually just to use that route. I think most people expected Russia to have closed the route already - the fact that they haven't done so shows that they consider that the benefit to them outweighs the costs to the US/NATO,

It will be the dumbest thing for Russia to do - at a time when the global supply for commodities is far more than the global demand. The cost of commodities have fallen by a large amount in the last 3 years - If Russia causes a supply shock, it will simply bring the prices back to their fair value - Russia on the other hand will see much bigger economic pain.

That's very much like shooting yourself in the foot.

Russia could derail the talks - but that will work to Iran's disadvantage not to its advantage. Iran's economy is practically stymied.

Of course some angry farmers lost their markets - but most of them are compensated by the European council...nothing to see here, move along.

This is nothing from he main stream media -

http://itar-tass.com/en/russia/770555 : Migrants leaving Russia due to economic hardship
http://itar-tass.com/en/economy/769170 : Putin blaming the West and corruption for economic hardship

: Russians are being advised to eat less

I never denied that the US is too big to fail. The only difference is if the US fails, it will bring down many countries along with it, including China.

Oh dear! Are you crying for Russia?

The US is actually less reluctant to sell its shale - It is Europe that is begging to buy.

It appears that critical & indepth thinking is not your forte. The collapse in oil prices is not just due to shale boom, but also due to global demand factors. The demand for oil is now lower than it has ever been in the last decade. Cars are now being built to run more efficiently with lower mpg. Fuel efficiency is the dominating theme in Europe and North America

The US have made several enemies and several partners - but speculations that the US will purposely target a country due to "de-dollarization" is simply brainless. Those who speculate "de-dollarization" in the media are mostly ignorance dunces who know nothing about global trade. Most of the countries that you mention survive only because they have a huge trade-surplus relative to the US. i.e they sell more to the US more than the US buys from them. In addition, many of them sell more goods to the US more than any country. For example, more than a fifth of china's total export is to the US - in return, China will be paid in US dollars . If China wishes to "de-dollarize" it will simply have to stop trading with the US - if it does so, many others - such as India will quickly take its place.
good points again.. I would have love to take them up as they come. But right now, something is wrong with my phone.

Foreign Affairs › Re: EU Foreign Ministers Extend Sanctions Against Russian Officials by Appleyard(m):
@bookface

-that the US is a country that grows internally...

Yes.

But if you think that The US cannot be hurt by changes in the external economy, then you are in for a surprise.

The United States is the world's second biggest importer. Main imports are: capital goods (29 %) and consumer goods (26 %). Others include: Industrial Supplies (24 %); automotive vehicles, parts and engines (15 %); foods, feeds and beverages (5 %). Shipments from China represent 19 % of the total imports, followed by Canada (14.5 %), Mexico (12 %), Japan (6 %), and Germany (5 %).

http://www.tradingeconomics.com/united-states/imports

What this implies is that, any major change or torbulence, expecially as it relate to Europe, will send the US economic on a down hill.

Now, this is where the EU comes in.

Not long after the Berlin Wall fell a quarter of a century ago, the Soviet Union collapsed, the United States squandered its peace dividend in an attempt to maintain global dominance, and Europe quietly became more prosperous, more integrated, and more of a player in international affairs. Between 1989 and 2014, the European Union (EU) practically doubled its membership and catapulted into third place in population behind China and India. It currently boasts the world’s largest economy and also heads the list of global trading powers. In 2012, the EU won the Nobel Peace Prize for transforming Europe “from a continent of war to a continent of peace.”

In the competition for “world’s true superpower,” China loses points for still having so many impoverished peasants in its rural hinterlands and a corrupt, illiberal bureaucracy in its cities; the United States, for its crumbling infrastructure and a hypertrophied military-industrial complex that threatens to bankrupt the economy.
As the only equitably prosperous, politically sound, and rule-of-law-respecting superpower, Europe comes out on top, even if -- or perhaps because -- it doesn’t have the military muscle to play global policeman.

But things are changing rapidly.

The European project is currently teetering on the edge of failure. Growth is anemic at best and socio-economic inequality is on the rise. The countries of Eastern and Central Europe, even relatively successful Poland, have failed to bridge the income gap with the richer half of the continent. And the highly indebted periphery is in revolt.
Politically, the center may not hold and things seem to be falling apart. From the left, parties like Syriza in Greece are challenging the EU’s prescriptions of austerity. From the right, Euroskeptic parties are taking aim at the entire quasi-federal model. Racism and xenophobia are gaining ever more adherents, even in previously placid regions like Scandinavia.
Perhaps the primary social challenge facing Europe at the moment, however, is the surging popularity of Islamophobia, the latest “socialism of fools.” From the killings at the Munich Olympics in 1972 to the recent attacks atCharlie Hebdoand a kosher supermarket in Paris, wars in the Middle East have long inspired proxy battles in Europe. Today, however, the continent finds itself ever more divided between a handful of would-be combatants who claim the mantle of true Islam and an ever-growing contingent who believe Islam -- all of Islam -- has no place in Europe.

Notwithstanding, the real deal is the economic aspect.

The standard of living in Hungary, 25 years after the fall of Communism, remains approximately halfthat of neighboring Austria. Similarly, it took Romania 14 yearsjust to regain the gross national product (GDP) it had in 1989 and it remains stuck at the bottom of the European Union. People who visit only the capital cities of Eastern and Central Europe come away with a distorted view of the economic situation there, since Warsaw and Bratislava are wealthier than Vienna, and Budapest nearly on a par with it, even though Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary all remain economically far behind Austria.

Forget deficit spending to enable countries to grow their way out of economic crisis. Forget debt renegotiation. The unemployment rate in Greece and Spain now hovers around 25%,with youth unemployment over 50%, and all the EU members subjected to heavy doses of austerity have witnessed a steep risein the number of people living below the poverty line. The recent European Central Bank announcement of "quantitative easing" -- a monetary sleight-of-hand to pump money into the Eurozone -- is too little, too late.

The little investments it has with Russia has suffered tremendiously due to the sanctions and counter sanctions.
Now, Greece is on the verge of leaving the EU. Various member-states economies are shrinking, and should Russia crash, The EU's death would all the more be accelerated.
And the US itself would suffer massively for the following reasons.

[quote author=bookface post=30339484]The US is a country that grows internally. It is less impacted by events or shocks in the global economy. If Russia implodes economically, Europe will suffer, but the US will barely feel a scratch.

Are you sure about this?
There is no nation in ths world that can internally generate or produce all that it needs. No nation is internally 'isolated', either from ' outside profits' or outside crisis'.
Now,if Russia implodes, and the EU suffers massively, the next on the line of the fall would be the US. The reasons are here:

http://www.silverbearcafe.com/private/10.11/eurocollapse.html.

No one is an island.

There's no point using military options - too costly..

Realy? Or that u just cant walk into a nation with enough nuclear arsenals capable of exterminating the entire globe?
Lets face it! The US can not militarily directly respond to any Russian military incursion, anywhere, anyday, Let alone at its own door steps. The little it could do was train and supply arms to Russia's foes-Georgia and Ukrain. Even its so called mercenaries (we all know they are regular foreign forces-US and NATO) covertly deployed to the East of Ukrain, are being ripped apart by the seperatists.
And the US didnt think it costly to put down men there and supply weapons.

Russia has no means to fight back.

Are you kidden me?
For instance, Russia could make America’s retreat from Afghanistan a hellish experience. A key supply line, known as the Northern Distribution Network – which brings food, water and war materials that keep America’s longest war going – runs partly through Russia or allied former Soviet republics. If Putin decides to shut down the network, the only alternative for the US military would be to be totally dependent on the Pakistan route. America’s nightmare scenario is to be trapped between the Taliban in Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban in the north.

Russia's direct trade with the U.S. is limited, and its economy is much smaller — Russia's gross domestic product (GDB) is a little above $2 trillion, America's is about $16.25 trillion:
But Russia is the world's largest exporter of energy and industrial metals, and if Putin disrupted the supply of any of its international commodities, it could indirectly hit the U.S. by raising the prices of oil and the materials needed to build airplanes, cars, and scores of other big-ticket items.
Tell me that wont affect the US?

On Gas and Oil, just forget that side.
Right now, The EU is already sweating from the seemingly inevitable prospect of getting its much needed Russian gas through Turkey, a well defined EU 'hardliner'.
What abt the Iran's P5+1? Russian can choose to derail talks.

It wasnt Russians that are now burning the EU flag and trowing unsold agric products at government officials and buildings. So the claim that Russia had suffered most from that sanction is infounded.

The Russian people are getting poorer, many have lost their jobs and mortgages.
If there is one thing i hate in my life, it is outright lies and falsehood. This is the penchant of the Main Stream Media, in collaboration with the US controlled Rating Bodies. Why?
Russia is poorer on the short run. But on the long run, it shall be stronger.

Russia is not too big to fail.

So also is your 'unskated' US whose economy, responding to both internal and external factors, crashed in 2007/2008.

Dont worry, at the end of the year, by God's grace, i will chat you up to say 'rosiya'. Because this current oil price wont last long.. Not with the US shale already suffocating from its effect.

Yeah, sorry. The 2013 investment figures i quoted was my mistake.

Sanctions against Russia is almost one sided, it has absolutely no effect on the US.

On the major economic frontiers, you are right. But in terms of 'absoluteness' on all fronts, you are wrong.

Europe has business interest with Russia, but that is not what is at stake.

Then what is at stake?
I will come nack to this later.

Who cares if the Russian oil and gas network can extend to Mars?

My bro, Europe cares, and so do China.
Its better to buy a Russian gas that is twice cheaper than the shale the US can offer.

The world is fast becoming less dependent on oil and gas.

What a fairy tale-dream! They said this 30yrs ago. But there had been no time that the world had become more dependent on oil than it currently is. For better understanding,

http://www.wintershall.com/en/company/oil-and-gas/oil-can-do-more.html

Wake up and see the writing on the wall. GEJ has turned Nigeria to a caricature.

For those wondering why the US is behaving this way it is easy to decipher.
1. Those Chinook helicopters and other sophisticated weaponry will likely end up in Boko Haram hands.-

interesting.

But wait...

Yes. We agree that at some point in the ungoing war, some members of the Nigerian Army in the field, has been caught sabotaging the efforts of the army to defeat the insurgents. These are the people we call 'the fifth columnist', and they are always present in every conflict, expecially when the Army as we know it, is 70%Northerners, with the most of them islamic. In that case, what do you expect? .
Therefore, this excuse of yours is a lame one.

Nigeria has been dashing those terrorists arms since the insurgency started-

there is a saying that ''if you are pointing to the moath in your brother's eyes, be sure that you dont have any on your own eyes'.
Since you chose to play the PR for THE UNITED STATE OF TORTURE, first ensure you have done your home work.
Pls tell us, Who is supplying ISIS with the weapons they are using? So called 'moderate rebels' in Syria that the US is supplying with heavy weapons, are defecting enmass to the ISIS, once they have been supplied. Dont tell me u dont know..? And here we are talking. The pot calling the kettle black. Nonsense!

2. The Nigeria Army has leveled villages before irrespective of whether they're terrorists or civilians.-

Your United State have killed millions of people than Hitler's Holocaust could only dream of. From Panama, to Vietnam, Serbia, Iraq, Libya, Nicaragua, just name them. And here u are defending the nation voted by millions to be 'the greatest threat to world peace'.

3. GEJ is corrupt and has no will to destroy the insurgency, so no need to waste Nigeria's funds on weapons that will not be properly put to use.-

hear you.. When the Federal Government initially made attempt to borrow 1billion Dollars for weapon purchase, to tackle the terrorists, it was people like you in the North that ran to the international community to cry that the federal government wants to 'externinate the whole North'. And here u are blaming the Man for 'lacking the will' to fight the insurgents, the same people your friends in the North initially created to 'make the country ungovernable for him'.
The height of tribal sentiment and bias.

I guess the 'United State of Satan' is putting its funds to proper use-by sponsoring wars, terrorists, colour revolutions amd false flag operations accross the globe. Thats good management, hmm?
And in case u dont know, the US and its devilish multi-national coporations are the most corrupt set of political and economic entities in the world.
Do your research.

4. GEJ and his supporting militants have been stockpiling arms for the eventuality of a GEJ electoral loss. Militants getting Chinook helicopters will be a disaster to the Niger Delta. US is avoiding such a scenario.

Hahahahaha... US avoiding such a scenario? The same US that is funding terrorists, toppling governments?
Hypocrisy at its peak.
Well, This scenario propably fit in well with the US 'forecast' (we all know is a grand plan) of the brakeup of Nigeria in this year 2015, so why complaining?

As if the US cares, why did they refuse to give you the Ebola vaccine we requested when Ebola was in Nigeria? Oh, you want to tell us that Nigeria would also have deployed it to the war front to bomb 'villages' too, right?
Haha.. I dey laugh..

And if u think that Boko Haram is majorly being sponsored from within, then you still have more work to do.

On the weapons side, yes. The likes of Tompolo and Asari have been beating the war drums. Infact, i personally dislike this two unrepented but pardoned criminals. You need to see what they are doing down here.
But with all the threat coming from the Northern side, what do you expect from such gangsters, expecially when the person concern is thier own son?

And you chipping in the president as co-conspirator, without any proof, smacks of disrespect and hatred, driven by a microscopic view of national issues, spurred on by religious and tribal sentiments and regional politics.

As long as much of us have these tendencies, it would be difficult for us to move on as a nation.

Yeah, GEJ is no saint, and has failed in many areas. Neither will Buhari fare better, and that is, if he can win even three states in the South.( the same issue of tribal politics).

But the worst is to think that the US will or is helping you. For the US have no permanent friend, what they have is permanent interest.
