Good evening, good people of Nairaland. We need your help in our community. About 2 years ago the wind of development got to us in our community - our road was tarred - all thanks to the past governor of Lagos State, in person of Mr Akinwunmi Ambode. The dark part of the development is that the road had rubber speed-breakers which had all been removed by the heavy usage of the road. Our community has ever since then been in a terrible state of mind as there would be no day without someone been hit by vehicle, and most of these accidents result to death. Just yesterday 2 people lost their lives on the said road. We have written to the LCDA that covers the area, the response we got was that they couldn't do anything on the road as it's a state road. We were then advised to write the ministry of transportation, alausa, and copy the LCDA which we did. It's been over 6 months now and nothing has been done about it.

Pls, can anybody here advise us on what to do. What we want is just an approval to have it done by ourselves. We are capable of footing the bill all by ourselves. Thanks. Please, save our kids.

I Love The First And Third
