lexy2014: Did she break any law by ranting? How does her ranting now mean that she is a criminal?
Meanwhile, Is it only smugglers that use d land borders? Do smugglers not also use air and sea ports? Those complaining about the border closure; Asian rice farmers and their governments, Nigerian importers and smugglers or those related or close to them, ECOWAS states governments especially Benin, Togo, Cameroun, Ghana and Niger involved in smuggling into Nigeria because of loss of revenue, She could fall into any of those categories. Any genuine importer into Nigeria should use the seaports and airports for now till those leeching countries sought themselves out. |

okwusdidi: From what i have read so far, this border closure would lead to more job loses,a lot of business would fold thereby causing more poverty and hardship in the land. And for a country which according to the world bank is the poverty capital of the world.I don't think this is a very wise thing to do right now no matter how good the intention is. Go to any rural area good at rice cultivation and see the smiles on their faces, even in the urban areas sef, youths are seriously getting involved in poultry business |

Blue3k: You're clearly mentally challenged. Benin wouldn't take dumb hostile actions again Ghana whom they also trade with. Nigeria controls their side of border so what is benin going to do to stop them. People like you emotional clowns who cant be pragmatic. Has the corridor being opened yet and the Nigerian government that said you must get your act together before any consideration for reopening is joking? Continue begging Nigeria for forgiveness for now, change your ways and we'd consider you guys request. Date of report, 18 October, today is 03 November yet you're already rejoicing over a phantom corridor. Better tell your president to give those stranded Ghanaian drivers at our borders more money in order to survive. |

nototribalist: which kind corridor? Mumuu you think Benin republic are stupid to allow that? Rubbish they will lock their own border too. That's why Ghana no get sense Thanks bros, even if Nigeria allows a corridor for Ghana only(not possible) and not for Benin, they believe that Benin would allow that? Benin would just raise their tariffs for goods heading from Ghana to Nigeria to make up for their loss with Nigeria. |

LabDNA: Closing the borders for import can be understood, but locking it down to also prevent exportation is what I don't understand. I thought the FG have been trying to encourage us to go into exportation so we can earn some foreign exchange inflow and strenghten the naira. Who is advising Buhari abeg? Nigerian exporters should use the seaports for now till those leeching countries sought themselves out |

The vitriol you keep pouring out tells me something... You are either a contraband importer or you make money from importation and your source of livelihood has been cut off.
Border closure is good for Nigeria,at least for now. Gbamest. |

Even with their numerous untapped solid minerals they refuse to grow.... Going about give birth to almajiris they can't cater for.. littering children in the nook and cranny of the country. causing instability, using Bokoharam to play politics......
If they can survive on thier own why didn't they embrace true federalism and restructuring....
Ndi Oshi...!! What's the IGR of the entire SE? Are you saying the SE states are not parasites when they can't generate enough for their budgets and have to depend on federal allocation monthly to meet up, the SE states are parasites just as most states in the north. |

Wonderful Tell us why IPOB went lying to her supporters? Were the lies and propaganda necessary? May they have their day in hell for deceiving people to their deaths |

Kpoikpoi: The story of a coward. So he ran away and left thousands of his stupid followers to die. Look at South South militants ,they don't run away from Nigeria. Look at Yoruba freedom fighters, they fought the military to standstill. Look at even Hausa fighters ,they don't run overseas. Now look at Igbo leaders like Ojukwu and Kanu, they all ran away while millions of their people were killed. TUFIAKU.OKORO PEOPLE ARE COWARDS. That he ran away is not my problem but the lies and propaganda IPOB went telling her gullible supporters and some have been killed, maimed, imprisoned or their whereabouts unknown all because they were lied to. . How can a so called liberation group and agitation become the greatest liars on earh, lying to their own adherents and followers? |

Soldiers came to kill Nnamdi Kanu and some Nigerians expect Nnamdi Kanu to relax and be killed to show he is brave?
This is one of the most foolish things I have ever heard Why were you, IPOB and others lying to your followers? |

MUMUdom: Talking trash, as usual. The government of Ghana has a duty to protect Ghanaians and their businesses at home and abroad. Whether they are making $1 or $1 billion, it doesn’t matter. Secondly, Ghana is speaking up because it has been approached by other Ecowas countries to take up the matter.
My president begging? Your certificateless president started the begging game when he sent your foreign minister and others to Accra to beg our president when shops belonging to nigerians were closed in Ghana recently. nigeria started the begging game Fuckeduppedness We agree, my certificateless president has spoken and there's nothing your president can do about aside begging and crying. Yeah yeah, other countries approached Ghana to be their spokesperson but if we ask for a link, you'd run away. |

Nigeria diplomat were once on diplomatic assignment to Ghana in 2018,The minister of trade by then had to meet Ghana president for a cordial understanding.it does not even exclude buhari. no Ghanaian media called it begging but poor journalism and unneccasry ego emanating from your press men nicknamed diplomacy as begging. The same blunder you are commiting. How many Nigerian diplomats had visited your Ghana after the closure, even when your GUTA or GUTTER wanted to mess up, tell us which Nigerian diplomats are in Accra begging, wake up, this November 2019 and not 2018 |

vaxx2: You are not smart enough to engage me on this , You should know by now . Purchasing power and total gross domestic product is not a functional economy tool to access the well being of an economy. the GDP per capital are used instead. Nigeria current GDP is less than 400 billion dollar You've been cornered in your lies, tell us Nigeria's GDP is $1 billion so that you can jubilate, not our business. The economic strength which is their purchasing power is what economists now use because it reflects the true strength of the economy. You want to use the $200 billion purchasing power of Ghana as her GDP nominal while using the Nigerian GDP nominal as her GDP purchasing power. Why not just tell us that the Ghana economy is about $67 billion and that of Nigeria is about $450 billion? Meanwhile hope all your hopeless ministers are out of Abuja as we speak. |
Politics › Re: Ghana Begs Buhari To Open Closed Border by Area4Area: 2:49pm On Nov 02, 2019 |
vaxx2: Nigeria don't have a GDP of 1.2 trillion , it has far less than 400 billion dollar worth of GDP. for a population of 201 million ... that is poverty. GDP purchasing power, you want to claim a $200 billion economy by purchasing power but your GDP nominal is just $67 billion, Nigeria is about $450 billion nominal and over $1.2 trillion purchasing power. South Africa $358 billion and Egypt $302 billion, nominal GDP yet Egypt has the highest in purchasing power at $1.3 trillion, then comes Nigeria with $1.2 trillion Go learn what both means and how they're both calculated. |

Let's wait then, you're equally insignificant in the scheme of things, the only voices that are significant for now are those of your beggarly president and his ministers roaming the whole of Abuja as if it's now your capital and disturbing our government officials from going about their duties. Have you heard that any of our ministers was in Accra begging anyone? |
Politics › Re: Ghana Begs Buhari To Open Closed Border by Area4Area: 2:38pm On Nov 02, 2019 |
vaxx2: The boarder closure is not a pancake to Nigeria impediment and sluggish economic growth. it is just a window dressing, i mean killing the symptoms but not killing the cause.
Nigeria major problem is over population , there should be strict campaign against Nigeria population growth which keep growing above Nigeria economic growth. this is where Nigeria problem begin. no matter the intervention of Nigeria policy maker to ease the burden of hardship on Nigeria populace, nothing will materialized, if the population keeps growing against the economy growth. it is simple mathematics , you can chew more than what you have . reduce Nigeria growth and Nigeria will enjoy the dividend, benin will simply not see the reason to export much rice into a market capable of feeding itself. it will naturally become unproductive to do such buisness . You're now concerned about Nigeria's population that has turned your ministers to beggars in Abuja begging for an access to a 201 million market with a GDP of over $1.2 trillion. Ghana can use her 24% industrial GDP and supply to the rest of ECOWAS but leave Nigeria out of your nuisance. |
