The bullet-proof vehicles you crucified Stella Oduah for was acquired by who? A state agency isn't it?

Niggah please!
Ode confused joker peddling apples and oranges.

With your crooked Oduah, we had receipt and proof of purchase, also who approved and ordered the cars and even signed delivery receipt with names attached to it.

Now go back to the village hole you crawled from and comeback with names of the website contractors, who was paid, amount paid and who cashed the checks..

Beats me why you villagers try so hard to sound so shallow and unintelligent..

I see..... I now understand why Ambode went on a sacking spree immediately he resumed as the Governor. But Fashola must find a way of being more proactive.
Unfortunately for the former governor, he can not do much beyond seeing them in court with their evidence of wrongdoing and his image as the best Governor of Lagos state and even in Nigeria is cemented in the hearts of Lagosians.

Fashola used to commission multiple projects every week, but Ambode haven't commissioned 1 single projects even though Fashola left behind hundreds of projects in different stages of completion. I'm sure many are ready for commissioning.

Why? Is he staying away from Fashola's projects or denying them completion or funding.?

Something about the guy looks very very off and unsettling..

Totally agreed. We both know the state government will never dare such but this issue is casting a shadow over Fashola's name. And I'm wondering if Fashola is that innocent why is he not going a step further through releasing of necessary documents? Why is he playing defensive?
I see what you are saying, but Fashola is a private citizen with zero access to official state documents and this is no secrete to the folks peddling the unsubstantiated rubbish.

The best he can do is call their bluff by denying and stating categorically how much the state paid, not it's up to the state to put their money where their mouth is and stop acting like cowards...

Is it possible for the state agency to award contract without the Governor giving an approval?
Let me cut through the chase and just agree with you that Fashola awarded and approved the contract for the sake of argument because I see where you are heading.

The governor came out already to deny ever paying the said amount, he said they spent N10 million and not N78 million.

So, in whose court is the ball now? The state of course.

Why not just produce documented facts to prove that that Fashola actually spent N78 million and also that Fashola was personally paid for the contract.

They should just go ahead and produce the contract terms spelling out what was ordered, the amount negotiated and paid, who was paid, who the checks was written to and who cashed the checks.

This is how you get to the bottom of issues, not by posting some random and meaningless numbers on a website.

The courts won't accept website posting as evidence of guilt unless it's accompanied with facts stating categorically who was paid and how much.

If people are really concerned, they should be demanding contract and payment documentation, not meaningless posting on a government website...

You can not convict or jail anybody with posting on a government website. PERIOD.

*sigh* Hopefully, Fashola come out of this smelling squeaky clean.
To start with, Fashola did not award any contract, it was awarded by a state agency and to our knowledge, the state and the folks peddling this rubbish are yet to show us who they gave the contract to, who they paid and who cashed the check/s.

Until they are brave enough to put this info before Lagosians to see, it's nothing but rubbish, ordinary figures on a website, and smear campaign.

1. Fashola did not award any contract, the state agency awarded the contract.

2. The website vendor claimed they charged and were paid N10 million so why is this useless driveby kabukabu group not asking the same state to release the terms of the contract, who was paid, who cashed the checks and for what amount.

3. The N500 billion debt reflects the hundreds of commissioned projects on the ground.

Where were these clowns when Fashola was commissioning projects everyday?

4. The largest public works project in Africa is going on in Lagos state aka Lagos 10 lane/Metro/BRT Badagry express.

5. Where were they when Fashola built and commissioned the best bridge in Nigeria in less than 3 years..?

6. 30 built, equipped and commissioned skills centers cost money

7. 15 water works cost money

8. Power plants cost money

9. New courts cost money and institutional infrastructures cost money

10. Farms and rice mills cost money

11. Roads and bridges cost money

12. Modern Jetties and patrol boats cost money

13. Asphalt plants cost money

14. Paving bricks factory cost money

15. Dozens of housing estates cost money.

16. New schools cost money.

17. Hospitals and the only cardiac and renal hospital in Nigeria cost money.

18. 2nd largest civil service in Nigeria cost money from salaries to overhead bills.

19. N30 Ikorodu road cost construction money.

20. N500 billion is chump change when it comes to what we have on the ground.

Politics › Re: Ford Motor To Start Assembly In Nigeria, Eyes West Africa by aresa: 9:11pm On Aug 11, 2015
dridowu:
LAGOS: Ford Motor Companywill start assembling its best-selling Ford Rangerpickup truck in Nigeria by the fourth quarter, as it expands in Africa and the Middle East, the US automaker said on Tuesday.
The Nigerian assembly plant, in partnership with Ford dealer Coscharis Motors Limited, is the first outside South Africa, where Ford produces the Ranger for 148 markets.
"Nigeria is a priority market for us in sub-Saharan Africa," said Jeff Nemeth, the president and CEO of Ford Motor Company's business in sub-Saharan Africa.
"Depending on how Nigeria develops over time ... we are potentially looking at using our Nigerian plant to service West Africa," he told Reuters.
The auto market in Africa's biggest economyhas huge potential but retails only a small amount of new vehicles annually, Nemeth said.
He said the sector is dominated by imported used vehicles, while limited financing for consumers to buy new vehicles and the absence of an industrial policy that would encourage suppliers to set up in Nigeria have stunted growth.
The Ikeja plant near Lagos will assemble the Ford Ranger using parts and components imported from South Africa. The plant will have the capacity to assemble up to 5,000 units annually, which will be sold in Nigeria.
Ford produces 85,000 units each year in South Africa, which are sold across 24 African countries.
"It would take between 1 to 2 months to take an order, build it and deliver it within the country. If you order from overseas it would take between 4 to 6 months," Nemeth said, noting that the benefit of the Nigerian plant was being close to its customers.
Rival automakers, Renault-Nissan, South Korea's Kia Motorsand Germany's Volkswagen have announced plans to assemble vehicles in Africa's most populous nation.

By nature, Yoruba people are forward looking and pragmatic people, reaching out and forging alliance to forward your interest is always a great thing regardless the outcome or other people's tendencies to disrupt.

Yoruba people are not closed minded isolationists like they do where this biafra writer came from.

Regardless of other people's ways and shenanigans, Yorubaland remains the most prosperous, advanced, cosmopolitan and the richest in West Africa.

Yoruba people are not hateful, vengeful, bitter and petty people like you, our pluralist ways and accepting ways serves us well, it's an asset and never a disadvantage.

You biafrans need to take stock and ask yourselves what you've gained with your isolationist, tribal and bigoted ways? What have you gained? Nothing really, you are still at the bottom of everything and even the north this joker is talking about is decades behind the SW in everything, even the folks from wherever this thoughtless and misguided biafran writer came from can not make any kind of decent living unless they migrate into Yorubaland.

Sabotage, isolationism, hate, bitterness, needless anger and bigotry gets you nowhere and Yoruba people don't subscribe to such nonsense, it is not our way of life or culture as a people.

Keep Yoruba people out of your hateful and isolating mystery...

are you trying to say because money was being stolen before it gets to Faac contracts were not being awarded and money released for capital projects by the past administration?
You award contracts based on your earnings and not the other way around. Spendings and contracts awarded has nothing to do with your earnings.

Non or low deposits into FG accounts means low account balance and prompt and steady deposits means high account balance before contract award or spending.

The fact that FG account is increasing even with very low price of oil means they've been skimming off the top...
