PassingShot: He couldn't have done all that needed to be done in less than two years. Or could he?
And surely you can't say same of a GEJ who has had six years with the type of money available to him but could only come up with mediocre achievements. Though he excels in looting and insecurity which is the reason he has to be booted out come next year.
Justcash: That was in the 1960s. Since then, we have fought a civil war, gone through many coup de'tats, and had several ethnic based crisis. IF WE WERE DESTINED TO DIVIDE, WE WOULD HAVE DIVIDED. In 2014, we are still together. It is time to start taking integration seriously. History is replete with the direction that the belief of the leader in the video has taken us to.
Who are you deceiving with that BS? Nigeria came out of independence divided and years after the same independence you let us all know that Nigeria was a divided country when you slaughtered military and political leaders from the other 2 major region and to add salt to injury, the next ibo head of state who was supposed to do to the killer and murderers what they do to such people globally in form of punishment, the ibo head of state did not even slap his own killers and murderers on the wrist hence the mass slaughter of ibo people up north.
You people divided Nigeria since day one. When was the last time you joined the rest of the country to demonstrate or agitate for anything? Where were you when the rest of Nigeria was demonstrating and risking their lives to make sure GEJ gets his constitutional dues to be the president of Nigeria?
Decades after the war, they keep dividing with their anger and bitterness against the other 2 major regions. Even today, your local and National leaders openly spew hatred and tribal rants against the rest of the country, you openly spew derogatory, ethnic and religious bigotry rubbish against the other regions and you don't believe in anything or care to partake in anything concerning the other regions, you won't even align with any political party from the other regions and even if at your own detriment, you don't give a damn as long as you deny that 2 other regions the upper hand.
Your votes for GEJ was 100%, even higher than GEJ's own SS people. You endlessly claim you own other people and their land.
The fact is, you people don't give a shitttt about ONE NIGERIA and you care less about the rest of the country, the only time you fool people with that ONE NIGERIAN nonsense is when you want something or when you're trying to con people just to get your selfish and self centered ways like you are doing in Lagos now.
Justcash: The bolded portion of your comment is hilarious. Nobody intends to dominate you man. Trust me, nobody can dominate you. Just take a chill pill. Nigeria is big and diverse. Explore her and partake in running the nation rather than your tribe.
Have you visited the North, East and South of Nigeria? Endeavor to travel to these places, and try to settle outside your tribal boundaries. Try to integrate and build Nigeria from other places. That was what your fathers fought and died for. Don't let people deceive you that it is all about oil. I thought so in the past too, but that is only half of the story.
What Sardauna of Sokoto said in the above video about the same Ibo people in the same North many decades ago sums this up. No wonder you don't mess with the North or demand the same foolishness because they know you and how to deal with you...
Give them and inch and they'll take over your your land, your identity and way of life.. Very disgusting I must say..
These people are so crude, crass, delusional and foolishly goofy, they are like annoying pests. They have zero respect for other people, their ways , culture and way of life. Why ask other people to dilute their identity just to suit your disgusting and selfish existence...?
The clueless and ignorant people should know that private entities funds cultural activities in Lagos including Eyo, Lagos carnival, Lagos seafood festival, and even Lagos countdown.
If you need your yam or whatever crap you call it celebrated, then lobby your so called businesses and business owners in Lagos to fund it.

sCross: When last were you able to write 2 sentences void of blunders?
BTW, Is there any thing wrong with doing all you can LEGALLY to get what you want ?
There is something wrong with doing all you can to succeed if you are grossly useless and incompetent just like grossly useless and incompetent GEJ....
FastShipping: If you didn't watch it, how did you conclude he couldn't put a simple sentence together? Hatred, stubbornness and bigotry have taken over your soul.
IDEApro: The Fulani Sunnis and their western shia collaborators will always cook evil for us but unknown to them, we have started feasting on the pot of wisdom.
And you wonder why Nigerians are saying no to religious bigotry, hate, bitterness, division and tribalism.
There Is No Transformation In Railway System’ Kingsley Alu
Sep 2, 2014
Rowland Ataguba is Chairman of the Rail Work Group of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG)and an international strategic railway delivery expert. He spoke to KINGSLEY ALU on developments on the Nigerian Railways. Excerpts:
How do you mean ?
Well for a start, you talked about the launch of two DMUs for an organisation that probably needs to have four hundred to make serious impact. If two is all it can afford, then it should do its launching quietly rather than embarrass itself before the world. It is simply the height of mediocrity for our national railway company to wheel out our Vice President and Minister to celebrate its acquisition of two DMUs. The VP and Minister probably attended to demonstrate the FG’s commitment to the railways but they were shortchanged. It’s like asking a Governor out to commission two minibuses as a response to his state’s public transportation problems.
But the NRC says that it has a two year maintenance arrangement with the manufacturers who will be based in Nigeria and help transfer knowledge to its operatives.
Well, good, but when you buy a new car, the first two years are usually trouble free. It is only after a few years that problems will arise though it is helpful if you had a decent maintenance regime from the beginning. What they will need to do in addition is to send NRC operatives for training at the Chinese manufacturer’s on how to maintain older equipment.
The further issue is the proliferation of motive power types. You would recall that the NRC bought about 25 locomotives from General Electric in 2009. Now they have gone and bought Chinese DMUs. At the last count, the NRC had engines from 5 different manufacturers from around the world which create a maintenance nightmare. First you will have to train your people on how to maintain all these engine types, then you will have to keep a large inventory of parts for the different engines which just means waste. If you ran a motor transport business, would you have Toyota, VW, Volvo, Peugeot all in your fleet? You need to keep it homogenuous so you can maintain a reasonable parts inventory and use parts interchangeably
There are a million and 1 reasons why we label these clowns mediocre, corrupt, foolish and incompetent.. All they do is celebrate their foolishness, mediocrity and gross incompetent.
The ogbanje ancient 1902 trains kpafuka all over the place so does it really matter when and how.?
Shouldn't the useless and corrupt people be covering their heads in shame for saddling Nigerians with billions of dollars worth of archaic rubbish and relics in 2014 ....smh
fkaz: Even president goodluck ebele gave general sani Abacha national award for his selfless contribution to the development of Nigeria recently, where people like seun where left out.
deeptechcool: When the going was good, there was no denial. But in the face of upmost failure, the account suddenly belongs to a ghost. change 2015 Buhari 2015.
johhnnie: kindly Google out debt burden of the south western states under APC. If u also want in situ clarifications please, be kind enough to visit Osun state and I will point u to where to get info even in the governor's office.

I don't waste my time debating market women gossips, baseless and and made up internet opinion, bring documented facts to back up your tales and I'll pay you serious attention, but till then, please shove this garbage somewhere...
johhnnie: governance is not the way they make the lay man see it. I will tell u that there is one thing we cannot take a way from Jonathan ' s administration and that is freedom of speech and association. Under APC governments, it will never be so. to state categorically with examples, most states in nigeria are not self sufficient. yet, the politicians live in affluence. most especially, the APC states. They live on federal government allocations as well as loans from financial institutions. from these monies, they steal over 70% in order to perpetuate themselves in office. Unfortunately for Fayemi in Ekiti, PDP won the last election and that was what brought out the secrets. I can also boldly talk of Osun where a state that barely produces anything has as debt burden of over 120b. It was 9b under the last PDP government. that is part of the reason y these states cannot afford to pay salaries. There are also other intervention areas of partnership among the 3 levels of governance federal, State and local. The state governments in the southwest cornered substantial portion of these funds such that some health workers that are supposed to have been paid for the past 10 months are yet to be paid.

“We want Ekiti people to know the deceit of Governor Fayose, who has been in the media painting Fayemi black that he owed Ekiti workers two months’ salary.
“Technically speaking, Dr. Fayemi did not owe any salary. If, as alleged, his administration owed September salary and he left government on October 15, while the allocation for the same September was received by Fayose, then commonsense requires that the incumbent pays the workers September salary with September allocation, while anticipating October allocation.
“It is on record that Fayemi, in his four years, didn’t owe any worker salary until Fayose emerged Governor-Elect and harassed banks not to transact business with the then outgoing Fayemi administration.
olassy239: he didnt say he wont pay,he said der is no money to pay sept debt yet
The statement further criticized the governor for taking September federal allocation to pay October salary, saying the economic sense behind skipping September to pay October salary was still unknown.
johhnnie: people will not truly understand the style of governance under APC governments in the southwest . its more like a cult like thing with so many secrets. They milk the treasury. I implore every interested fellow to Google out debt burden of the south western states. Osun owes over 110b, Ekiti owes over 40b, ogun state owes over 30 b naira while lagos debt burden stands at half a billion dollars. The most annoying thing is that they award contracts in such a way as to further place their subjects under slavery and servitude. most contract are awarded on a contractor- financing system. A situation whereby the contractor undertakes to finance the project with a proviso interest regime far higher than what the commercial banks take. The so contract go to the likes of tinubu5, Aregbesola and Co. They also operate a pyramidical financial system that is bound to collapse at any moment. that is y they want the federal power at all cost in order to save face from the impending financial doom across the states under their jurisdiction. This is tinubu ' s game plan.

Ayo199: u'r clueless! Fayemi did nt pay september salary whch iz wat fayose was referring to..itz just an outstanding unpaid salary..
The statement further criticized the governor for taking September federal allocation to pay October salary, saying the economic sense behind skipping September to pay October salary was still unknown.
honeric01: So what is this news now all about? he should pay September too na or why leave the oldest to pay the youngest?
This is the part I don't get? I don't see the sense and wisdom here apart from the fact that he's saying everything before him is non of his business including workers salary..
Enice: na today dem start deduction for payment of bond and interest? If fayemi has been surviving before now, then whyt can fayose? The man is either clueless like his pay-master in abuja or has refused to pay due to his intention to fund the campaign of his master. Period
Well said.
The man is incompetent just like his president and the rest his PDP pose all over the country. The same load was there under Fayemi and Fayemi still did not miss a single payment while in office, but we now have a joker in office coming up with dram and silly excuses...
He obviously thought fooling people with his rice and chicken was enough distraction to make them forget about their salaries...
100Cents: [s]The outgoing APC governor refused paying civil servants their deserved September salaries till October 16th. When you people see the truth, you look the other way. Your comments and actions here is exactly what is killing Nigeria and setting us backwards..
Fayose came into power October 16 th. How can he be the person paying September salaries ?
This brings me to Abia state state where civil servants are being owed since September to December salaries. If such a thing continues till May 29th, 2015, when a new regime is sworn in, then I pity Abians and the incoming government.
I wonder why things are not working in this country.
Fayemi should be arrested by EFCC and made to pay Ekiti state workers their September salaries..
Jonathan, please sir, make this country to work. You have the power. God gave it to you.. Arrest Fayemi now.
Wealthy people in this country are not law abiding, they do as they like and get away with it. If Fayemi is allowed to go scot free, it means Abia government can keep owing Abia civil servants from September 2014 till May 2015 and nothing will happen. When are we going to start holding people in power accountable ?
[/s]
There's nothing like refusing to pay, government is continuum..
Whatever allocation that was delayed back in September is now in Fayose's hands so the clown and comedic joker called Fayose should sit his asss down and start governing like he was elected to do.
What are the roles of Auditor general of state and house of assembly members? Who is advising these governors on loans and bonds to the extent the past governor left liability into incoming governor's hands.
Let the Chief Justice instigate a case against him. Sell all his properties and use it to offset cost. Rubbish!
It's perfectly OK to audit state accounts, but leaving debts and transitioning with debts is very normal in Nigeria and all over the world and I'm yet to witness any rubbish like I'm not honoring what the previous administration committed to or we are not paying any salary generated under the previous and administration.
This is nothing but official vindictiveness, foolishness, idiocy and stupidity ravaging our political system, many of these comedic governors, they spend more time engaging in theatrics, fighting their predecessors even after wining elections and assuming office than siting down to govern.
dguizman: Sometimes I just imagine how ppl do comment here on nairaland.his Fayose the governor in september?and how do u want him to pay for what he did not buy....
Same dubious and incompetent mentality is the reason why worthless Nigerian governors abandon projects started by their predecessor. They don't have to finish i since they didn't start it. Who is losing? The people.
You need to worry about your own mentality and less about others...
