My point is that whatever project he claims in his CV are all 80 percent PDP inclined sir. He was in PDP when these projects startEd an got to 80 percent. So it is not APC inclined
And I'm telling that as an achiever, he refused to stay in the same party with corrupt and incompetent people with corrupt and incompetent culture and philosophy. Today, he associates with credible and competent people in APC. ...PERIOD....

And if i might add, what about the rest of the PDP governors in the same region? In 8 years, akpabio completed only a few roads, 1 fly over, 1 football field and 1 cinema while the rest didn't build even one dog cage...PDP is nothing but a group of corrupt and incompetent clowns. ..

2. It has nothing to do with cable cars or cable routes.

3. These are the arriving rail cars for Eko Rail system...

Whynotthetruth:

Why did previous governments both civilian and military (buhari most especially) not do same if it was that easy?
The fact that previous administrations fell short doesn't mean we deserve rubbish and backwardness. If stone age mediocre rubbish is what you think you deserve in 2014, they you have zero moral authority to question the previous administration.

What do you know about train mechanics?
How long does it take to build a modest train?
What does it cost to build one?
Of what relevance are the above questions since you are a bilion years far from being a train mechanic, construction engineer or even a project and construction cost analyst. Stick to what you and leave alone what you don't

Why hasn't fashola and amechi(APC saints) completed there's 8years after??
Fashola's public Eko rail system started in 2012 so you are mathematically and mentally way off base.

On top of that, it's the largest public works project in Africa, it's the kind of project sovereign Nations undertake.

It's also not just a rail metro system, it's a freeway system with ten lanes including BRT access, the best rail stations in west africa, many overhead bridges, rail bridge construction over the Lagos lagoon to Lagos Island so with your internet rail construction engineering degree, please feel free to show us where such was started and completed in less than 2 years.

Won't it save people money, energy and time?
No, it wont save you anything because they are old, mediocre and subject to breakdowns and accidents like the one in the picture below.

And when you buy almost obsolete crap, you spend more money on breakdowns, parts and maintenance. They are even subject to needless accidents.

What you are supporting is called penny wise, pounds foolish.

Won't it save our roads longevity?
The ogbanje they are saddling you with wont save you anything..

Was Rome built in a day??
If Rome wasn't built in a day, then why question how long it's taking the LASG to finish a rail and freeway system construction that commenced less than 2 years ago?

Very confused and hypocritical I must say..

Amaechi is a state governor and not your FG with oil wealth so your comparison sounds pointless and redundant. On top of that, Amaechi is building a modern mono rail system and not the 1909 rubbish you are celebrating. Aggregate the differences first before questioning anything..

You do sound very very lame and depthless..

Politics › Why Nigerians Must Get Rid Of GEJ. More Suffering/no Hope For Nigerians In 2014. by aresa(op): 4:09pm On Dec 24, 2014
Instead of a cut, given the revenue crisis, the three bodies, categorised under statutory transfers, will receive a higher allocation of N411.84 billion compared to N408.69billion in 2014.

^^^^^^^ They increased money going into their own pockets.

Another pointer is the government’s allocation of only N387billion as developmental expenditure for the entire nation for 2015, a huge reduction from N1.1 trillion allocated in 2014.
^^^^^^ The money budgeted to better the lives of 170 million people is less than what they are spending on themselves and they even cut it down from last years figures which means 2015 is not only going to be zero development and bad news, but also a very tight and suffering year for Nigerians..

Nigerians, are you paying attention?

Please, eh, mention the achievements that have made my life better. As I sit here, battery running low, no electricity, (on Christmas Eve kwanu!), funds low, expectations flat, how has our great leader improved the business climate in the country, even if not for me but for the millions of job hunters. If lagos is hard like this, will kebbi or enugu or kwara be better?
They regurgitate ridiculous and bogus assertions that means nothing to the average Nigerian's daily realities and not even their own suffering realities. When they speak, it's politics and tribalism speaking and never what's best for Nigeria..
Politics › Re: President Jonathan To Buy New Executive Jet by aresa: 3:49pm On Dec 24, 2014
FrankC3:
From this article, despite frantic efforts by SH to sound alarmist, it is still very clear that no new jet is being purchased, rather a trade in is being done for one of the available jets. For those who know, in such procurements, manufacturer trade in could be aimed at achieving sustained warranty support, equipment and spare parts availability and to save money in the long run. It is often more expensive to maintain an older model of a product than to trade it in for a new one with better features. That is part of why firms change even official cars after 3 years most times.

Is the size of the Nigeriam Government large, yes! Is this particular procurement a wastage, we do not have enough information to say yet. During budget defence, the leader of Presidential Airfleet will be on ground to present his reasons and APC NASS members will have their chance to engage in logic and not all this emotional outburst by farmiliar handles on NL.
It doesn't matter how hard you spin it, cut and dice it, it remains a very cruel, thoughtless and incentive request especially while advocating hard biting economic hard times and austerity measures..

There is absolutely no justification for another presidential jet unless they are ready to tell Nigerians that non of the 9 or 10 jets they have right now can fly or convey him from point A to point B.

They have more planes than many airlines for crying out loud. Even the richest and advanced countries don't have so many presidential planes, even some fly commercial...

While Ogun is building new schools, roads, bridges, flyovers and hospitals, Enugu remains stagnant with nothing new on the ground for years, with measly N93 billion, Enugu can not do anything but pay just salaries..
