MzTunechi:It's obvious she knows better and of course she got her answers but just want others to confirm them. Since she knows he's a rich man, then she got nothing to worry about nor does she need validation before she decides on her next plan. What I don't get is the constant waving away of warnings from different posters about this confirmed scam. I believe she will be vindicated. Finish and klaar!!! |
It's most likely a scam. I had a girlfriend who was duped of N3m by these fraudsters. She was sent gifts of N300k and then, the sob stories started. It's always 'mama had accident, she was kidnapped or attacked by herdsmen'. And he will need money for ransom or surgery. And also, is the said man a Sailor or works on an oil rig or aboard a vessel? These are all formats to maga the unsuspecting. If you really want to be safe, then "ABORT MISSION" immediately. I repeat, ABORT. Like someone pointed out, no one keeps a grandchild away from the biological dad because of marital issues. Please apply wisdom and exercise caution. That is no woman, it's a man and they are a team. The mum's picture that you might have was lifted off Facebook to make you feel ar ease. And you say he's from a wealthy, prominent family? Do your research and you will find out that it's all lies. He's probably in AJ like someone alluded. And if you insist, give out his info (country of residence, name and occupation) and watch how the truth unravels. |
lanrems:Spot on and this has been in existence for a while, just that it is always a random thing. So randomly, any visa holder can be stopped and inspected before being allowed to exit from any of the air, land or seaports of the United States From USCIS document - Controls of Aliens departing the United States Section 215.2 (c) (c) Any alien who seeks to depart from the United States may be required, in the discretion of the departure-control officer, to be examined under oath and to submit for official inspection all documents, articles, and other property in his possession which are being removed from the United States upon, or in connection with, the alien's departure. The departure-control officer may permit certain other persons, including officials of the Department of State and interpreters, to participate in such examination or inspection and may exclude from presence at such examination or inspection any person whose presence would not further the objectives of such examination or inspection. The departure-control officer shall temporarily prevent the departure of any alien who refuses to submit to such examination or inspection, and may, if necessary to the enforcement of this requirement, take possession of the alien's passport or other travel document. |
I guess he did not get the information correctly or the narrator told him outright lies. To file a AOS to a Lockbox facility and get a Notice of Action will take at least a week, Biometrics appointment will probably be 2 to 3 weeks ( i've seen months) after that. Then to get an interview for I-485/I-130 will depend on the Field Office which is always determined by the processing times ( even with the recent glitch that put 2018 filers on the front row). Surely 5 weeks is impossible, except like @Egunmogaji said, it's likely DV visa, or Family preference.. |

Actually, the duration of stay on a B1/B2 is at the discretion of the IO. Though you are almost guaranteed a 6 months stay after being inspected at the POE, but sometimes a lesser duration could be given on your I-94 even after you have given the reason for your visit. I have been given just 2weeks, despite me having longer than 2years visa ... And yes you can change your status but the determining factor is your financial capability and timing. |

Jerusalem - African migrants who entered Israel illegally will be given cash incentives if they leave on their own soon, or they will face expulsion, the interior ministry said on Friday. A tent city is being built to hold other migrants, the vast majority, who can stay for now, the ministry said. About 60 000 Africans have trekked through Egypt and other Muslim countries to reach Israel over the past few years. Many are looking for work, while others are seeking political asylum. Cash, plane ticket A Jerusalem court has ruled that some 4 500 migrants, mostly from South Sudan, Ivory Coast and Mali, are to be expelled. Interior ministry spokesperson Sabine Hadad said on Friday that those who willingly leave within the next week or two will receive cash incentives of $1 200 and a plane ticket. She said that otherwise, they will be expelled. Earlier, Interior Minister Eli Yishai said it would take months to expel them. He told Israel Radio that that a tent city and holding facilities are being built for other migrants who are living in major population centres. He said they will receive food and health care and will have good living conditions there. Because many are from Sudan, an enemy of Israel, and Eritrea, a country with a flawed human rights record, the line between refugees and economic migrants is blurred. Therefore, Israel has quietly allowed most migrants from those two countries to stay without processing their asylum applications. Jewish character Yishai warned that an influx of migrants could destroy Israel's Jewish character. In some places, entire neighbourhoods are inhabited by migrants. Tensions are high in southern Tel Aviv, where a series of rapes, robberies and violence have been blamed on the Africans, sparking protests. Police say the crime rate among the migrants is lower than for Israelis. Court decisions are pending regarding migrants from other African countries, mainly Eritrea and Sudan. The migrants infiltrate Israel's porous border with Egypt, exploiting the widespread lawlessness in Egypt's Sinai peninsula. Israel is erecting a barrier along the roughly 200km border with Egypt. But the migrants continue to arrive at a rate of about 1 000 a month, and some report being raped, tortured and extorted by the Arab Bedouins who smuggle them through. http://m.news24.com/news24/World/News/Israel-offers-cash-to-Africans-to-leave-20120608 |
Ya,ya, ya... Getting on a direct flight to Heathrow will take you to London... Like its a nu discovery of the century. ACTION mi bru Aganga! |
Was just wondering why there ain't Somalis, Eritreans,Ethiopians and other poorer nations in Indonesian jails on drug related offence (in large numbers though). If the theory of the country's condition is the reason being alluded to here? |
Has anyone ever seen an applicant granted a 10 year B1/B2 visa? It did happen here |
@OP I think he has answered all, there's no way you can do without evaluating your qualification with SAQA. For all other answers to your question, go to www.dha.gov.za and check if you will normally qualify to extend your stay or not and also the process of getting a work permit if you do get a job. |
Except if you are a South African or other visa exempt countries then you need a valid Visa to enter any country of your choice. Your "Accompany Spouse" Permit does not confer SA Citizenship on you. You still have to apply to the various embassies like others do (even if you are traveling with your wife) |
I believe the title of this piece should have been " Nigeria will be a better place for all to live by 2025" or whichever year is best known to the author. Though i may be wrong, but i don't see the reason for overtaking when we don't even know when we will be on the same level with Republic of South Africa. I think it's better to know when Nigerians will enjoy all the benefits of Democracy like South Africans are. |
Well i think its a possibility. But on another level, will South African Rand depreciate and its economy remains redundant. Was just wondering though, Time will tell and i pray time flies by. |
Why are you people not refraining from spoiling South African Passport just like the naija own. South Africa's Passport cannot be used to travel free to Canada and all Asian countries (but some of them). and why will you want to offer south African passport that takes 10 years to get here on this site? Can someone please take out these kind of postings from these sites? I am south African and i really don't like what i'm seeing on these sites, naijas again!!!! |
That is not true, Nigerians need a valid Visa to visit South Africa for any length of stay even with the e-passport |
I am in Europe and i need a reliable girl from any part of the world. |
