Truckpusher: We are on the same page .Making food for your spouse and posting it online all for the fun ,for me isn't a bad idea especially if you have an active online personality, but using the wrong method of cooking and making it look like you just did her a favor is nauseating.

How can you be pounding yam inside a mortar on tiled floor and saying ....'' hey I just made her food because she's blah bah.....Hey! dude , you just did your duty besides that she's very very pregnant.

And gain, that kitchen sha! lipsrsealed

Truckpusher: This isn't abt being mouthy ,How can you be pounding yam on tiled floor in fact if I'm the landlord and I find out I'll refund his rent and ask him to go live in the village or better still go pound that stuff in your own house. As if that one is not enough he went online to post that kitchen that looked like a poultry with him pounding yam online....................for the sake of Nigeria ,is he suppose to be a celebrity?

Now you tell me, what lesson did you learn from that show of shame by this our celebrity? grin

Is it that pounding a mortar on a tiled floor is normal and ok?....Haba ! you sef reason am na?

FamilyRe: Groom Dumps Bride At Ikoyi Registry, Escaped With Her Money by AriDsexy(f): 3:32pm On Sep 05, 2014
cococandy: If you're not married yet, then you've no place making that statement.
Life is full of ups and downs.
Some times it's not about how pretty, classy or whatever a lady is.
Anything can happen to anyone. My friend that got married last year at 35 would have said the same some one decade+ earlier. But alas her fiance died 2 months to their wedding when she was 27 after a 6yr relationship.
It took her how many more years to find someone else to settle down with and finally she got married at 35.
There's no hurry in life. I know the normal thing is for proposals to pour in when a pretty lady is 20+ especially early twenties but unless you encourage ladies marrying anyone just to get married, you can't really swear on the 30 line.
Time flies too.
Be easy on yourself darling.
I million likes.

aisha2: At 30 I had been approached but by men who if I had married I would have been divorced by now. I didn't see any pastor I simply knew God had a bigger and better plan for me, I was ready to stay in course and live a good life spouse or no spouse.

As a fellow woman I can only advice that you don't push yourself to marry by force because you don't wanted be single at 30. Godforbid that you marry at 25 and at 30 you cry to bed each night.
Life is very crazy, anything cab happen. People get widowed at 30 or even before, people separate at that age some are happily married but everyone has a different journey and race it is important we understand that.

I had always assumed I will marry early because I had dated one person only for years, infact if you go through my posts about 6 or 7 years ago I was meant to be married it didn't happen but till today I go on my knees and thank God that even on the eve of when I was meant to marry I walked away if not I would have been lamenting daily under different names on nairaland and different blogs.

Today, I married after your 30 years deadline but to my own husband who God designed and kept for me.

It's ideal to marry and bare kids early but if it doesn't happen we shouldn't loose hope or in this case blame the unmarried. Life happens To us all. Thus the bible says let he who thinks he stands take heed lest he falls.

I can only pray dear that's a bid to meet your timeline. You don't miss God's Own timeline
Wow,you reason and write with so much sense.Always looking forward to read your post#RESPECT!

Acidosis: Obviously, the young actor isn't as dum.b as some wannabes on the thread.
The young man said, and I repeat, I am an African man...
He knows there is something they call poundo yam, but he choose to maintain the African style. Besides, not everyone enjoy eating the semovita-like tastless poundo chemical.

Lovely family, btw.
Don't mind them joor, when Vincent eyeama put his pix on instagram helping his wife in the kitchen to cut okro, people did not complain, wonder why they want to have this guy's head cheesy

Sweetlemon: You are right though but I still loved that woman. The point is that she never means any harm in what she says. She's just one of those carefree people who like to give a good laugh. The show is called Fashion police because her job as a policewoman is to "arrest" Fashion offenders with her mouth and funny gestures so they don't commit the same offense anymore.
It's sad though that she might not have gotten a chance to make peace with God.
My point exactly,I complained the same thing to my sister but then again, who am I to judge because sometimes its not just about the outward appearance.

bushdoc9919: The funny thing is how they distinguish between the innocent and the guilty....

So, the rich businessman, who was suffering when in his twenties, no babe,no money.....and thirty years later is rich by his own efforts ,and employs lots of people is guilty?

Nigerians!
That was what striked me o,that they only rob from the" sinners" and leave the "innocent ones" wonder how they can diffrentiate the two.

AirborneLacer: Jejune lists - Most of those stuffs up there doesn't matter a bit.

Why should I regret ever being in a bad relationship? There was a reason why I had to make the move then, it turned out that things didn't pan out fine as earlier envisaged, I pulled out and had my lessons learnt.
Don't mind me,I quoted you just becaue of the 1st word I read in your post...I went for an interview sometime ago and one of the word I was told to write the nearest in meaning was "Jejune" that was the first time hearing that word grin.Op,sorry for derailing.
EventsRe: 7 Common Wedding Traditions And Their Origins by AriDsexy(f): 4:31pm On Sep 03, 2014
mstik: "Jumping the broom" is an expression meaning "to get married," and it is an African-American tradition stemming from the days of slavery. African-American slaves were often not permitted to marry, so they had to create their own customs and traditions to mark this special occasion among themselves. Other slaves would lay a broom on the floor, and the new couple would jump over it together, symbolizing the start of their life smiley
Oh my bad...I thought its a wedding tradition, becos I see the new couple walking across the broom, also tought its a tradition in Nigeria. Thanks for explaining.

Christianity EtcRe: Cyla Simpson's Defense Of Anita Oyakhilome by AriDsexy(f): 1:31pm On Sep 03, 2014
bushdoc9919: @OP.

The problem is simple....the couple were not spending quality time together....so they drifted apart.

If you get married....part of the deal is that you spend time with your wife/husband and children from the union....or else things will not end well. Especially spend time with one's children.

Seems Pastor(assuming the OP's tale is true) forgot all about that.
My point exactly,to think that the daughter had to beg for her dad to come visit on Father's day as her own gift is crazy.

Ishilove: What causes blueband butter to grown fungus? It has happened to me on three different occasions.
Same here but I think maybe you lick the spoon sometimes and scoop again or if u have kids, maybe they dip their hands inside the butter....just my thought though.
FoodRe: 11 Foods Not To Refrigerate by AriDsexy(f): 9:22am On Sep 03, 2014
Mynd44: I are not talking of melting here. I are talking of butter getting hard when put in the fridge as it tends to solidify as temperature cools down. Nigerian made brands of butter are suited for our temperature and needs no refrigerating (except you live in an oven).......think for yourself, on the shelves, are they refrigerated? Do they mealt?
Then let it be in the fridge and not the freezer, that way it doesn't solidify so much, and its easy for you to scoop anytime you want to.
FamilyRe: Ebola Wants To Destroy Her Marriage. by AriDsexy(f): 6:37pm On Sep 02, 2014
chibabe3: so easy to criticize others without feeling what the person is going through. We spent a greater part of yesterday with each other and she was weeping throughout and was so depressed. She loves her husband and wouldn't want to cause a rift in the family but at the same time she is so scared of their life and also that of the children. Her husband has been involved in monitoring the health of people who are suspected to have had contact with the dead Portharcourt doctor.
Yes,I can only imagine what she's going through now but like someone said earlier, the man should be the one to even suggest keeping the family away from him now....Safety first!
