Moses made two attempts at leadership; the first was recorded in the book of (Ex 2:11-14) “ Now it came about in those days, when Moses had grown up, that he went out to his brethren and looked on their hard labors; and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren. 12 So he looked this way and that, and when he saw there was no one around, he struck down the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. 13 He went out the next day, and behold, two Hebrews were fighting with each other; and he said to the offender, "Why are you striking your companion?" 14 But he said, “Who made you a prince or a judge over us? Are you intending to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?" Then Moses was afraid and said, "Surely the matter has become known." The second attempt at leadership was when he was called by God in (Ex 3:10) to go up in Egypt and bring forth the children of Israelites from the house of bondage to the promise land (A land flowing with milk and honey). President Muhammadu Buhari made two successful attempts at leadership; the first was in 1983 as a military head of state and the second as a democratically elected president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Moses after his first attempt went into exile in midian and was said to be pasturing the flocks of Jethro his father in-law. Buhari after his first attempt went into exile in Daura and was pasturing farm animals as was captured in his assets declaration (the only thing record failed to tell us is, if those cattle belong to his father in-law as was in the case of Moses). When Moses was called, he brought God’s attention to the fact that he is not an eloquent speaker (Ex. 4:10), God instructed him to go with his brother Aaron (Ex 4:14). When PMB was coming on Board, Nigerians complained of his academic qualification and his poor accent, God backed up this deficiencies with a Professor (Osibanjo) just the way he backed Moses with Aaron. Finally we are on the path to the promise land, if we can remember, the Israelites journey to the promise land was not as smooth as envisaged, they encountered a lot of challenges as characterized by the challenges we are facing now, the boko haram, the militants, fight against corruption, budget padding and other security challenges. Pharaoh(Corruption) is pursuing us from behind and there is a red sea(Niger deltan Militants) in front. If God saw Israelites through, there is no doubt he will see us through. Rebellion against Moses, Rebellion against PMB, Rebellion against God. Ex 17:3 But the people were thirsty for water there, and they grumbled against Moses. They said, "Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to make us and our children and livestock die of thirst?" The children of Israel did not stop there; they even went a step forward by suggesting electing a leader who will lead them back to Egypt. The above scenario is not different from what we are facing today; a friend was telling me how we were better off in the days of corruption and impunity, in essence he was telling me how better we were in Egypt the house of slavery. Most people that rebelled against Moses beard the consequences of their actions, Miriam and Aaron rebelled against Moses in Numbers 12:1 and Miriam became leprous( Thank God for Moses intervention), The book of Numbers 16:31 tells us how Korah and his men were swallow by the earth for rebelling against their God chosen leader. Rebellion against PMB has become a thing of concern, any appointment made is tag nepotism (record did not show if Moses was criticized by Israelites for choosing his brother to be the high priest). In as much as criticism is fundamental in a democratic setting, I think Nigerians are taking things a bit too far. Moses could have been tag a tyrant and rejected by Israelites as their leader the day he killed an Egyptian and hid in sand, but God thought are different from ours. PMB may be tag a Tyrant by some people, but out of wisdom, God made him our President and commander in chief. Rebellion Against PMB may land us were Miriam landed, it may even land us were Korah and his men landed. |

sanandreas:Is the money for importing drones more than the allocation to Niger dalta ministry? What about the Niger Dalta development commission, is Govt responsible for non execution of NDDC projects giving to Niger deltans?? Do you know how much that goes into amnesty programme per year?? What is there state govt doing with the 13 percent derivative funds allocated to them monthly...Think before talking... |
M4gunners:Future be dammed, will FG Force them into dialog? those morons refused any efforts made by govt to put sense into their death brains...The only thing left to do is to adopt the OBJ policy...1999 Udi and 2000 Zaki biam massacre loading...We only need to been commanded...PMB is been too soft on this whole thing... |

And the same NASS is expecting the CBN to be summiting its annual budget to them for scrutiny, they want to be paddingg CBN budget too?.What impudence... Back to the matter, when Hon. Jibril was accused of padding the budget, i knew from the onset that more will be revealed...When Baba refused to sign the budget, many were pouring insults on him just Because he refused to follow the status quo, GEJ would have sigh the budget without even looking at its contends...OOOh how i wish Baba adapt mugabe style because 8years alone will not be enough to put things right in this our cursed country...In as much as we will want you to stay and fix the predicament brought to us in the past 16years, you may not want to go beyond 8years...OOOH...I weep for Nigeria...Wailers over to you... |
Love Machine:The fight against boko haram shouldn't have been a success with out the combine efforts of JTF, must you comment because MTN gave you 10MB for the hundred naira airtime you borrowed from mama Nkechi? dont quote me because i will not answer you. |

Suprnov3r:Are you a psychiatric patience? No offence pls... In case you are not a patience, let me point a little points to you... 1. Haliburton scandal is the same that involved a former US congress man Jefferson Williams...There is no haliburton scandal different from jefferson case as you claimed in your number four(4) 2. The Onus of prove lies with the accuser not the defence as claimed in your number (5) 3. Territorial Jurisdiction is irrelevant to this case... Your next quote will prove to me if you are really typing this from Yaba psychiatric center...Thanks |
Otapipia:Anytime a person Quotes me, I first of all view his/her profile pix to see if he/she is matured enough to waste my time...You dont have a profile pix, let me give you a benefit of doubt by assuming you are matured. Back to the topic, You said section 135 made it clear and unambiguous," No court action can be initiated against a sitting governor" If i may ask...Do you know how many governors/ past governors that are facing/faced certificate forgery cases in court why they were/are still covered by immunity clause? Do you think the lawyer that sued Buhari over certificate scandal never knew what he was doing? or you dont know that the president also enjoys immunity like governors... My dear, we have laws and we still have laws that governs the laws... |
