LienwaltAbel: Hannibal season 1 & 2. Those two seasons can compare with Mr Robot and Breaking Bad to be honest. Hannibal is not for the faint of heart, the gore is something else, and the heartbreak . But season 3 was just garbage. I don't even think I will ever complete it. Same here abandoned it at s3 |

Beorn: The ratings were uninspiring, and seeing that it was more a female themed movie, I avoided it. I'm glad I didn't waste my MB downloading it. When you're watching a movie that you're easily distracted yells you ain't feeling it. I agree it's more female themed. So bored I just want it to end. Over an hr of watching now and I'm still 30 minuted in. I keep losing focus on the movie and rewinding it I'll switch to better call Saul soon enough. |

Travel › Re: Who Noticed This About Nigerians Who Have Family Members Abroad? by armadeo(m): 2:47pm On Sep 18, 2022 |
hamouston91: I noticed that most Nigerians feel so much achievement upon having a family member outside the country. I have seen Nigerians proudly declare the following (just an example tough) :
1. My uncle in Canada
2. My Aunty in UK
3. My Brother in the US
4. My son in Germany
5. My cousin in South Africa
6. My husband is in the United Arab Emirates
7. My daughter in Italy
8. My brother in Malaysia
9. My nephew in India
10. My brother sister uncle daughter son in Kuwait Etc. I observe a pride in each of these people, and I realized that it doesn't even matter which country the family resides in, for the homers, they always feel like they won a noble prize by having a family abroad. Some of these people have families in Indonesia, Malaysia, Israel, Libya, Kuwait, Honduras, Greece etc. And they puff with pride as if it's a life worth achievement. Others have families in the US, UK, Germany, Canada, France, South Africa, Australia etc, which is still note worthy.
But the Question is; why do most Nigerians count having a family abroad as a big achievement, and even make mockery of their fellow Nigerians who do not have a family member abroad. Or those who refuse to mention that they have families abroad?
Is it a Nigerian thing to behave like that, or is it a global thing, do other countries nationals behave like that?
Your opinion is the back bone of this thread. Thank you. Inferiority dey do you. |

Treadway: Hope to not get caught in this one-way web (cos not everyone knowingly drove into one-way), but if for whatever reason I do and my car is about to be impounded. I will invoke my last right to damage my car there and then. Lastma has the right to impound but only the court has right to grant forfeiture.. I will destroy that car before it ever gets to the yard or court. No One else will use it. Coke and mentos is all I need to do the trick, or just open the engine oil cap, with a sprinkle of bashed windscreen, windows and stabbed tyres. Na that day dem go see new display never seen before. If I will lose the car might as well lose it on my terms...I no go fight anybody, I go just kuma destroy the car. Lol Sometimes the way some people reason gives me joy. If you're losing then lose on your own terms Respect!!! |

Dalnadoni: What d Bleep are you saying...you think all this shit happen abroad? Try leave naija and see how real doctors treat people. Una don come again. Walk into a hospital abroad and don't provide your insurance and you'll be shipped out so fast you won't believe it. What you see on TV isn't the reality. Even insurance doesn't cover some cases that are life threatening so stop saying abroad abroad like we don't know what goes on there. Why do you think the obamacare bill was praised heavily in the US then. Even many Americans couldn't afford healthier or the insurance before the bill was passed. |
