kinah: The way people eat this avocado pear 🥑 amaze me. As healthy as it is I always try to incorporate it but ughhhh. I once added black pepper still my taste bud just don't agree.
HELP!!!! Takes getting use to. Start trying it. It is a very tasty meal. Toast your bread and just cut, peel and ready to eat. Nothing added - no salt added if I'm eating it with bread. Avocado - when not spoilt, taste good. You cut it open and see that greenish light yellow color (not brown) then you are on to some great eating experience I snack on plain Avocado! |

Food › Re: Okra Weakens The Spirit by armyofone(m): 8:27pm On Mar 29, 2023 |
sukkot: yeah okra and rice is just a very weird combination. Now keep in mind Americans don't play with their eating leafy green veges 5 times a day so these are bio- available iron sources so the typical American has a very strong spirit so okra would not affect them too much. Okra has tiny iron and it is not bio-available. Your stomach hydrochloric acid has to really destroy all the bonds in the okra to release the tiny iron in it. And most people don't produce a lot of stomach acid. Which is why they say to be healthy you need to eat only when you feel that stomach acid start to pour into your stomach aka when you are very hungry. But with leafy greens even a tiny bit of acid would release the iron in it Lol @ strong spirit (the love of country and war comes to mind - never mind). Salad is yummy! I like plain raw salad....those crunching lettuce, spinach, kale, cabbage, brocc, cucumbers, cauliflower etc Vegetables - very abundant on earth - getting use to eating it plain is the major problem with many people - Not palatable. |

Food › Re: Okra Weakens The Spirit by armyofone(m): 7:51pm On Mar 29, 2023 |
sukkot: lol to be honest with you though the okra used in jambalaya is not the slimy type. It's like dry . Just ends up being another vegetable in the jambalaya and not exactly a plate of slimy okro. I think theirs is a different specie of okro because the jambalaya doesn't get slimy The one I ate while there was slimy real okra - her family has a garden. I do buy fresh okra when in season and it draws or slimy like naija okra. Okra drawness reduces with time. Few days on the shelf then...dry, old and wrinkled I don't bother trying jambalaya again cuz i don't like okra and rice. If you use canned okra, yeah not slimy. Pepper and fish to fight my spiritual warfare. I read okra is packed with iron. |
Food › Re: Okra Weakens The Spirit by armyofone(m): 7:15pm On Mar 29, 2023 |
Draw soups and spirituality - one good food in the south is jambalaya - if a southern person cook jambalaya, you'd see okra standing like a chief in the food. Maybe their spirit already strong. Quite interesting. Okra taste great with fresh mackerel fish. I drink spicy okra soup and eat the fish. The habanero and fresh fish will wave the spirit attack away. sukkot: well to be honest with you only people with weak spirits to start with will feel the drain. So your spirit must be strong lol |

mariahAngel: I tried eating whole wheat bread one time, I did not like it, honestly. I felt it was too dry, and it didn't agree with my system. Really? It takes a short time to get used to - same with brown rice. Try other kind and don't give up on fiber . |
