Demdem: why dont u like Ngige. Is he because he is in APC or any other reason?
i have already told you in another thread why i do not like him so i wonder why you are asking me again.
PoliticsRe: APGA Moves To Recover Okorocha's Mandate Through Court by asha80(m): 12:01pm On Sep 05, 2013
Abagworo: Lol @APGA claiming they contributed to Okorocha's victory. Very funny indeed. Why haven't they been able to win elections in Imo before Okorocha? The simple fact is that the Church, civil society, transport workers, artisans, students, market women and the general public were instrumental to rhe victory and sustenance of Rochas. Agbasos wanted to play godfathers and went about awarding contracts to their friends and even signing money without the Governors notice, conditioned the Governor that Jude must be both Deputy and commissioner for works at the same time. Today they've connived with PDP and asked all their friends not to execute contracts and at the same time prevent Rochas from re-awarding the said contracts just to discredit him.
madumere is also the de facto commisioner of works now so i am not sure if okorocha was forced to give to jude initially...maybe that is why construction jobs is going on faster now that jude is out and madumere(rochas right hand man) has taken over.

Anambra matter is settle.

Obiano is the next governor of Anambra. Voice of men (Anambra people) is the voice of the people.
forget the over confidence....apga has ngige to deal with....i do not like ngige but i would be a fool to think he would not be a huge threat to obiano that is hardly known..moreover there is this issue of disgruntled elements like obidigbo(you cannot ignore him) and okwu issue to deal with instead of this wild goose chase...they should focus on on what is coming up.
PoliticsRe: APGA Moves To Recover Okorocha's Mandate Through Court by asha80(m): 11:47am On Sep 05, 2013
waste of time and resources....umeh should focus more on okwu and obidigbo factions and how they can convince anambra voters to vote for obiano.

The Nigerian Army is to build its 1st 5star standard hotel in Enugu as part of its efforts to diversify its sources of funding, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika, has said.
Ihejirika said the hotel would be built under a public-private partnership arrangement. He said the hotel would offer alternatives to soldiers in transit while it would also be accessible to the civilian population.
He also commended the division for the work at the mess which he described as a five-star mess.

I'm trying to add some pics i snapped here but I'm getting pissed off. You be patient with I bomb you all with some nice pics *****

obiano will not take us there either (yes obiano and apga is your candidate, but apga is dead, deal with it!)
in fact i am sure that obiano will be worse than all of them because he has never had big projects to deal with.
love ifeanyi or hate him, he was handled big projects
i repeat, ifeanyi uba is the most credible of them, because he is his own man
now, allow me to be entitled to my opinion!
yes you can have your own opinion but pls do not try to tell us about ifeanyi because i know him wella....ask kabila or congo.

re@lchange:
and you are a fool if you think obiano is the kind of a person to handle anambra state
ifeanyi uba has handled big money, obiano hasn't!
ifeanyi uba stands alone, obiano stands with peter obi's stick up his .a.ss
did i call obiano's name?ubah that could not run his biz that amcon had to take over the running of his biz because ifeanyi was so reckless in his borrowing?i repeat you know next to nothing about running a state if ifeanyi ubah is the person you think that is capable of taking anambra to the next level.

what is funny is that others are waiting for their godfathers to finance their campaigns after which they will mortgage the entire state allocation to them for 8 years.
this man is so far the only one that is financially independent of any godfathers
i shall vote for him!
nonsense

peter obi wants his boy boy to continue dumping our money in fidelity
while ngige wants to pay tinubu and gang
pdp is a house of thieves and murderers

ifeanyi uba stands independent, tested, and has just told us what he will do
i dare others to do the same!

uba all the way (in the absence of soludo of course! ) cool
you know next to nothing if ifeanyi uba is the kind of person you think can handle anambra.

PoliticsRe: The True Image Of Abia State With Pictures. by asha80(m): 1:36pm On Sep 03, 2013
Abagworo: Its not about experience in politics but achievements in politics. Road construction is not an easy fit. Ngige did well in Anambra and no one has ever denied that fact. All I said is that one cannot leave a tested person and enter into gambling.
governing a state is not all about road construction pls...why did lagos gamble with fashola?forget this tested stuff you are talking about...you give people opportunity to do stuffs if they have performed in another sector especially if that sector is a bit similar to what you want him to oversee...again what bill did ngige raise in the senate all this while?
PoliticsRe: Proposed West Africa Trade Centre To Be Sited At Onitsha by asha80(m): 1:23pm On Sep 03, 2013
Afam4eva: If this is true then i think it's a step in the right direction. I have always clamored that the full potentials of Onitsha be harnessed to create employment for the populace.
only that onitsha river port would bring out the full potential of onitsha.
PoliticsRe: The True Image Of Abia State With Pictures. by asha80(m): 12:54pm On Sep 03, 2013
Abagworo: Experience is important and that is why experience is included in CV. He has no political experience and has not done anything that impacted on the masses. Soludo and Ngige's achievements live with us and is undeniable.
Now Soludo is a Prof while Ngige is a Medical Doctor.
what political experience did fashola have before becoming governor?apart from road construction what else did ngige achieve as governor?in the senate what bill did ngige sponsor?gej is an experienced politician before becoming president?what say you about his tenure so far?as a medical doctor what did ngige do for the health sector during his time as governor?

Abagworo: I've still not seen any indication of a powerful profile. An MBA holder that has worked in 3 firms. What else?
what kind of profile are you looking for?apart from soludo i do not see any other profile of any aspirant better than his(maybe obaze's own is better) pls do not give me a poiticians profile....
PoliticsRe: The True Image Of Abia State With Pictures. by asha80(m): 11:33am On Sep 03, 2013
Abagworo: I've tried but I'm yet to see any. Maybe I need more enlightenment on him other than being a director of Fidelity Bank. Ngige is tested and trusted and so is Soludo. Why would you leave something you are sure of and go for something you don't know?

Well I read this comment from an Abia man and almost shed tears too.
go to google and type 'willie obiano texaco fidelity' read the first article.as for abians when they serious we would know.soludo is more popular but mean more popular does not necessarily mean better.
PoliticsRe: The True Image Of Abia State With Pictures. by asha80(m): 11:04am On Sep 03, 2013
Abagworo: My question to you Aba people is how many threads will you open? Everyday someone comes up with picture of one bad road or the other but I remember how we all argued it out prior to 2011 elections and all of you went to sleep hoping for a miracle. Anambra is about entering the same path with this Obiano of a man who has no records. They've removed Soludo with wayo and are using ethnic propaganda agaist the only other competent candidate Ngige then the next is employing the "Offa miracle" and eureka! a bad leader will be born. Afterwards you'll blame a man who cannot give what he doesn't have even when you had the options to resist him.
you are being mishievious by saying obiano has no records...we are not happy about what happened to soludo but that does not mean we should lie.

Capital Cee: See let me tell all these stupid beings here, Ngige awarded and kicked off the construction of Nkwo to nkwo in 2005 it was only completed during peter obi's administration. So you will tell me when the road right in front of my compound was constructed. Look warrior or what ever you call yourself. Dont be a brute who is a kid? I tell you again peter obi never did anything for my ppl, he only collaborated with emma bishop Okonkwo to construct some roads in Ichi. If you dont know sometin keep quite and stop being insultive.
@asha if you say that Ngige did nothing towards the dualisation of onitsha owerri road then you are misinformed, with my two eyes i saw ngige came to my village near ogwugwu-oba inspecting the construction of the onitsha-owerri road. Stop listening to rubbish being posted by politicians on internet to decieve our relative not staying at home. Peter obi did nothing for us period. Ngige kickstarted the construction of nkwo to nkwo.

that ngige inspected the road does not mean he had any input unless you are telling me that the anambra end of the road was being done by state government then which is not true...and like i earlier said fifty percent of the road as 2007 was not completed....most of the completed parts as at then were in the imo axis done julius berger...ccc was doing the anambra axis then(and they were piss poor) .

bia Capital Cee did you it was during ngige' tenure that owerri onitsha road was dualized?i can swear as at 2007 the road was not even 50 percent completed even though it was started before 2003.

Capital Cee: he constructed a lot of long forgotten roads accross the local govt, and payed all the civil servants being owed accumulated salaries esp. teachers, that alone made him very popular. Apart from him PDP is very popular here as shown during the PDP ward elections two weeks ago, but Apga seems to be dead here
can you name the long forgotten roads....i have a reason for asking.

Capital Cee: my brother you are just spot on, i never considered that scenerio in anambra north.but i think apga will sweep ogbaru lga. And will likely win onitsha north/south. I am from anambra south, Ekwusigo Lga. APGA is not popular here at all! PDP is well known here, and Ngige is loved over here and ppl are singing his praise here. Our nearest neighbours Nnewi, ifeanyi ubah's LP has some ground in nnewi. I saw a lot of meetings going on in nnewi now. Apga may have a good showing there but will be given a run for their money. Ihiala another of our neighbouring lga look good for LP and PDP. But in all of these lgas, I am so sure dat Ngige will get a handful of votes. I dont know of orumba north/south. From my little stay in achina in aguata lga. Ngige will surprisingly win in aguata. Even if soludo contests(am sure of this one). Again note that ojukwu's influence has wane a little accros anambra. I laff at the person bringing in Uwazurike into the equation, all i will say is that you are not from anambra if not you will not be saying that.
if i may ask what did ngige do for ekwusigo during his time as governor?

berem: President Olusegun Obasanjo is said to have returned to the
trenches within the fold of the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) following the outcome of the governorship primaries of
the party in Anambra State.
Obasanjo had recently attempted to broker a truce
between the PDP and the aggrieved governors of
the party under the aegis of G5 in Abuja. Though
the meeting lasted for a week, nothing concrete
came out of it at the end of the day.
Sources however told Sunday Tribune that Obasanjo was
motivated into taking up the peacemaker role because of his
belief that his candidate would be allowed to emerge as
gubernatorial candidate in Anambra.
A source in the know said that Obasanjo is a calculating man and
that his involvement in the peace process was to facilitate Andy
Uba's emergence as gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in
Anambra state.
The source said that President Goodluck Jonathan equally got the
message from Obasanjo and that he actually considered the
Andy Uba choice but that analysis of the political situation in
Anambra indicated that the PDP would easily lose the election
should it field Uba.
"The President actually considered the choice of Obasanjo's
candidate for Anambra in view of the role played by the former
President in seeking peace with the governors but he was
confronted with facts and figures which confirmed that the PDP
would lose the election if it fields Uba," a source said. The source
also stated that the PDP then resolved to field a neutral candidate
but with the plan to allow Uba contest the election in a free and
fair primaries.
"I can tell you that if Uba had emerged a candidate from a free
and fair primaries, the president would not have objected to it.
Somehow, Uba got wind of the plan by the PDP not to field him
and he organised a parallel primaries," another source said.
Following the rejection of Uba, it was learnt that Obasanjo had
decided to return to the trenches within the party once again.
"He is already aggrieved that his candidate in the National
Working Committee (NWC), Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has been
sidelined, then coupled with the rejection of Uba, he feels that he
has an ax to grind with the party and the president," the source
stated.

INNO18: They wouldnt have had to bother about campaigning if Soludo had won the Candidature....either way dont underestimate the power of dirty politics in Nigeria, i dont Think Apga would have done away with soludo the way they did if they werent certain they'd win the polls in Nov with an Unpopular candidate as Obiano...who knows Gej and Jega might have some plans... With The increase in 'ghost voters' and everything i wont be surprised if Apga wins with a 'Landslide' in Nov.
i thought the story was that gej wanted to favour uba andy according to some reports ago?
